If you're craving amazing seafood, look no further than California Fish Grill! I just had the best fish I've ever eaten here. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection—well-seasoned, fresh, and flavorful in every bite. The sides were equally outstanding. The corn was deliciously sweet, and the sweet potato fries practically melted in my mouth. Every dish was made with quality and care. The prices were very reasonable and the portions are very filling Highly recommended for seafood lovers or anyone looking for a fantastic meal! Can't wait to return.

The food is like an explosion of delicious flavors, combining sweet, savory, and fresh. I loved the potatoes with their special dressing. The shrimp were delicious, the vegetables were delicious, fresh, and with a homemade touch, I recommend adding the clam soup, it was delicious.. The fish could be better. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

Delicious salmon bowl and the sweet potato fries! Good side orders as well.. I’m surprised that I didn’t find this gem in vegas sooner. They also have 3 locations so far as I can see. Will be back either to this location or check out other 2 locations. They have education pieces about sustainable seafood as well which is a plus!

This location seems to always have cold food and less than fresh ingredients than the summerlin and rainbow locations. Third time experiencing this, won’t be back for fear of food poisoning and tired of wasting money and food. The employees are also always rude except for the Filipina girl and the Latina with blonde hair. Why are there brussle sprouts in the beans and why are the beans disgusting and watery? Cilantro was old and rotting smelled horrible. The cooks are rude which is probably why the food sucks.

First time eating here. I was a little worried when I saw we had to order at a counter. I was expecting a long John silvers experience. But when the food came out, it was really good. I had the Cajun grilled catfish and my friend had a grilled shrimp salad and everything was delicious . Everything was super fresh. Way better than I expected. So good i actually scarfed it down like I hadn’t eaten in days ha ha. The employees were all really nice and came around to check on us several times. They have a drink machine where you can get your own soda. They have Pepsi products, and then a few flavored sodas, and I mixed the flavored sodas with the Pepsi and it was really good. My only complaint is that the music was really loud but that’s typical here in Vegas. I Would definitely eat here again!!

My family really enjoys this healthy fast food version of a seafood diner. They have unique and healthy side dishes to accompany the main dish like fish tacos, fish, or shrimp. No matter how you like it; fried battered, grilled, or sautéed, is all delicious! I especially enjoy their battered fish taco combo with a side of kale slaw and white rice. Other highly recommended sides are: beans, sweet potato fries, and tomato feta salad. The restaurant is well kept, clean and sanitary. The service is great! And the prices are just right. We mostly dine in, but have ordered take out and I’m always impressed with how well they package the food.

My family and I visited this fast-casual restaurant for the first time and I'll immediately start by saying this place was awesome! We ordered the Louisiana Delta Catfish, Giant Shrimp, Hawaiian Shrimp Trio, and Cajun Fish Taco...and we loved it all. The only unfortunate thing about our visit was they didn't have Clam Chowder available. Although I almost fell to the floor in disbelief, it obviously wasn't a showstopper. The service and cleanliness were outstanding and the food quantity-to-price ratio was phenomenal. I especially respect how this place supports the men and women in the military, to include its Veteran's - thank you for that! I highly recommend this place to others and rest assured, I and/or my entire family will be back to try other things on the menu, to include the Clam Chowder!!

We had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely amazing—everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and so well prepared. My son accidentally dropped his fish filet on the floor, and without hesitation, the staff brought out a brand-new one for him. That kind of kindness and customer service goes a long way! The entire facility felt very clean and well-kept, which I really appreciate as a parent. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and welcoming. And the self-checkout kiosks made paying quick and easy—super convenient when you have little ones with you. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

Newer Location & Busy Atmosphere: This particular location appeared to be recently opened and quite busy during my visit. The staff seemed to be getting acclimated to the new environment. Self-Serve Kiosks & Cleanliness: One interesting feature was the availability of self-serve kiosks for ordering food. This offered a convenient way to customize and place orders. Despite the busyness and what seemed like a light staff (one person handling orders and clearing tables), the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. Food Quality for the Price: I opted for the fish and shrimp combo. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted good. The fries were also a satisfying side dish. Considering the price range and the fast-casual setting, the overall food quality was perfectly acceptable. Location & Chain Comparison: It's worth noting that this location is situated near several car dealerships, which might be relevant for potential customers. In my experience, the availability of fresh seafood might be more consistent at locations in California. However, this newer location still offered a good meal for a quick seafood fix. Overall: This new location provides a clean and convenient option for grabbing a quick and affordable seafood meal. While service might be slightly slower during busier periods due to staffing, the self-serve kiosks and consistent food quality make it a good option for a fast-casual restaurant.

We had a great experience at CFG Centennial Hills today thanks to the amazing Kayvon (manager) About 5 months ago, we had our inaugural CFG visit at the Palm Desert CA location. Things did not go well so the CFG CA & AZ regional manager contacted us offering to make it right. He agreed to give us a gift certificate to this location so we can use it during our May Vegas trip. I tried to contact him to remind him several days ago but he did not respond. I called and got the runaround but was finally told he was no longer with CFG. I called this location and spoke to Kayvon. Rather than making me jump through more hoops, he simply said "come on in and I will honor what was promised". How refreshing! When we arrived, Kayvon immediately helped us order some food and offered suggestions. I got the sea bass, brown rice and roasted corn. Hubby went with the catfish, zucchini and rice. The restaurant was clean and the food was done promptly. We both enjoyed our meals - all ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. Kayvon checked on us which we appreciated. I overheard the staff laughing and sensed they had good team synergy. I highly recommend checking out CFG Centennial Hills if you are in this area.

I have placed many orders for delivery and it's hit or miss. Today's order inspired me to leave a review. First of all, I have to imagine that if I were dining in the restaurant where they have to face you, quality of the food would be much different. I am recovering from abdominal surgery and only hope that the clam chowder was prepared from fresh ingredients because I did taste it. This chowder was watery and nothing like clam chowder. There were a couple of large crumbs of potatoes and some pieces of clam. I was shocked. It almost seemed like a leftover from someone in the restaurant that they heated up and served for delivery. Why even have it on the menu if it is so sub par or substandard.

The food hit the spot!!! After a failed attempt (on my end) of ordering online, I decided to just place the order in-store. The self-service ordering tablet was super user-friendly. Staff offered to assist and was very helpful. I ordered the fried catfish (Swai) with double zucchini with rosemary and a salmon taco with no pickled onions or cabbage. But before I delve into the food, I'd like to note that the store was very clean and I was greeted upon entrance. I'm big on that. I did use the restroom to wash my hands even though it was a take out order. The restroom was very clean. Great assortment of beverages to choose from. The fried fish was delicious. Great flavor and not overly seasoned. I would likely have them fry it a little crispier next time and separate the fish from the sides to preserve the flaky exterior on top and bottom. Zucchini was a hit as well. The taco caught me off guard. I'd like three more right now actually. Special thanks to the staff working. Everything was great and everyone was friendly. I'll be back.

Located next to 7 eleven. Great customer service was immediately greeted upon entering. The server was patient as I overlooked the menu. Ordered the sea bass with chimichurri sauce, avocado corn salsa with avocado, brussel sprouts and the strawberry lime juice. They even serve wine and beer. The food was amazing! Enjoyed everything I ordered. It was served hot and freshly made. Ambiance is very chill, with quaint seating.

It was my first time here and the experience was very enjoyable. Customers were greeted as they entered the restaurant. The ambiance was pleasant and clean. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. Two people checked on us after we got our food to make sure everything was okay. My husband and I shared an ahi tuna (seared rare) with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries, a 3-piece fish and chips with French fries and kaleslaw, and a large bowl of New England clam chowder. We also got a soda. The portions were really generous. The ahi tuna was a huge piece, very fresh and well seared. It's delicious with the garlic butter sauce. The fried fish was also very big, fresh, and tasty. The batter was a bit on the thick side. All the sides (Brussels sprouts, kaleslaw, sweet potato fries, and French fries) were very well prepared and seasoned. The clam chowder was also very nice, with quite a bit of clams but not a lot of potatoes. Their soda machine had a lot of unique options. We got a pineapple cream soda which was excellent and refreshing. Considering the portion sizes and quality, their prices were really good. If you're looking for a reasonably priced and healthy meal, California Fish Grill is an excellent choice with good value.

We were treated like royalty!! The young man who took care of us was awesome! He was friendly, courteous, professional, and generous. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was flaky, moist and had great flavor. The seasoning/sauces were on point. We had Fish & Chips with Kaleslaw. Skewered grilled shrimp with Cajun sauce. Sea Bass (Branzino) on bed of white rice with Cajun sauce. Caprese salad. The restaurant was clean, bright and inviting. The displays were colorful and accurately depicted the dishes. I told a friend about this specific CA Fish Grill and he insisted upon going with us next time. We will definitely be back.

If you are a foodie who loves explosions of flavor, you gotta try this! Tonight, I tried the strawberry mint juice ... oh my gosh! They need to sell this in stores! It was so good! For my side, I decided to try the chimichurri parmesean fries. My family was upset I didn't order more. Everyone was fighting over them. The dynamite shrimp bowl was delicious. The whole menu looks so good. I do want to try everything. Walking past other people and seeing their, I wonder why i didn't order what they did, lol. My tastebuds are doing a happy dance right now.

I don't know why we took so long to come to this place! It came highly recommended from a friend who is a cali native. The food was amazing! I got the salmon over quinoa-edamame rice(although I didn't have any edamame in my rice, don't know what happened there) and my husband got the fish and chips with a side of coconut shrimp. We also got a side of the zucchini(pretty bland, but we added some of the sauce that came with the coconut shrimp and it was fire!) The only down side was that the air was out and it was pretty warm inside. The manager never came to ask if we were all okay or even offer water cups(would've been a nice gesture). We will definitely be back.

Great service and great team over at the California Fish Grill in Centennial! I ordered the mahi mahi with Brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries and it was cooked to perfection! This is a great place for any seafood lover who's wants to dine out and also eat healthy by counting their calories and watching their diet!

I work across the street & I wanted to check this place out. Walked in & the vibes were chilled... I was greeted by a young man, I forgot his name, he was dope & helpful. He made great recommendations since this was my first time here... I ordered Mahi Mahi salad & mannnn that shit was fire!!!! The fish was cooked well done & seasoned... overall, I was impressed & I'll definitely come back again

Came here for a Yelp event. I usually frequent the one near Summerlin in Boca Park, but this location was a nice surprise. I got a wild Alaskan sockeye salmon with chimichurri, and rice and zucchini. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but the rice was stale and hard. Minus a point for that. Overall, a super clean location with great customer service.

I have driven by CFG quite a few times, but never thought to try it. I'm glad I did! I am a new mom who just discovered her baby has food allergies (dairy/soy) so going out to eat is not an easy task and options are limited. I went on their website to see what I could have and to my surprise there was an awesome feature that allowed me to select my allergies and it populated what is safe vs unsafe! So cool! Even better? There were plenty of options so I could actually choose (versus settling for the single menu item that fits my needs)!!! I selected grilled salmon with chili sauce, brown rice, and zuchinni. It was great and the portion was substantial! The salmon was crispy outside and tender inside. The chili sauce was sweet and spicy. The zuchinni was unlike other restaurants that just give steamed veggies- these were cooked well with seasoning. The meal made my husband jealous! We plan to return here as a healthy, relatively quick, option that is accessible for those with allergies!

I actually ordered the DYNAMITE SHRIMP BOWL (fried shrimp with dynamite sauce with fresh cilantro, green onions, tomatoes, cabbage and sesame soy sauce.) I am super happy that I picked this plate from the menu. It was exactly what I wanted!! Thank you for the compliment meal and for inviting us to enjoy the experience of this dynamic flavor!!! The ambiance is relaxing and great music to enjoy while eating.

I started to come here because of their Grand Opening promotion! After that, I keep on coming so many times... I love their Shrimp Skewer. and my kids love their chicken strips, Garlic Butter Sause and white rice. Their drink options are my favorite. My kids love salted mango juice... And their Soda server is fancy one. I never dine in without kids. So beer is not my option. But they have one too. And until I tried other location, I didn't know how I like their quality of this location... So far my favorite California Fish Grill. Service: Sometime they mixed up my order. But they always take care of it.

Got the chance to check this place out for the Yelp event and I sure have been missing out.....this place was great!!! Super clean and great ambiance on the inside. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and told us all about the menu and options. I settled on the salmon and Brussels and make a great selection because it was delicious....bit from the looks of the place everything is probably good! For what I got the price is fantastic and will definitely return many times for this gem!

Today I placed a pick up order through their website and choice a specific time for pick up. I get to the restaurant, and my order was not ready and for a second they were not able to find my order even though I showed proof of my purchase and order. Not only was it an inconvenience since I used my break to pick up my order, I would've at least expected the staff to offer a drink or something to accommodate for the inconvenience.

The food there is great. They have many options and even have a self ordering station. The vibe there was great and the workers were very helpful. Overall well recommended.

i have not ate here since this meal was ordered. the salad was not fresh, the greens were but the other veggies were not, rather. I got the rockfish and it was totally underwhelming and was a very loud fishy taste and smell. i know this seems to be a "thing" depending on what kind of fish is ordered but i dont believe it should have taste this way.

I really wanted to like this place but after my first experience, I will not be back. I ordered clam chowder for my kids to share & also fish & chips. I ordered our food to go & finally got home to a container 1/3 full for $8. I called the restaurant back & was told it was 12 ozs of soup/ 3 scoops... If this cup is 12 ozs, I definitely got closer to 3-4 ozs. I feel like they were skimping out on this & didn't handle this situation appropriately. The worker seemed more defensive over this rather than willing to solve the issue.

Wow, I had the sea bass with garlic butter and an Appetizer of Poke it was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The commotion behind the counter is a bit of a mad house but the order was correct but it did take some time to get the order and I must say good food does take time. Very good and I will return.

I ordered for the first time from here and when I tell you the food is amazing!!! Everything tasted fresh and had a good flavor....so much so that I ordered dinner again the next night! I can't wait to try the shrimp!

We ordered takeout, and the food was delightfully fresh with rich flavors! My wife placed the order online, and it was prepared in just 15 minutes. The service was exceptional. The only minor hiccup was the absence of utensils or salsa included with the order. We're unsure if there's a salsa bar available, but we'll definitely inquire during our next visit.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Came in for lunch on a Monday afternoon around 12. Was one person in line ahead of me It's nice inside, you order at the counter and take a table while waiting for your food. Server was friendly and tolerated me while I figured out the menu. Ordered the taco combo with 2 Cajun shrimp tacos and side of beans and side of rice. I added a battered fish taco a la carte and finished with a root beer Wait wasn't too bad, was lunchtime so the table ahead of me were all served first then mine came out. They text you when it's ready! I went to get it and noticed I didn't have my battered fish taco. I asked and the guy checked the receipt and it wasn't on there. The dude at the register overheard and came over. He apologized and said they'd get me one fast on the house. Great customer service Shrimp tacos were really good. Not too spicy, but had a little kick. Lots of shrimp and cooked well Beer batter taco was good, had tartar sauce it in which really made it Rice was good, just plain white rice Beans were awful. More broth than beans. Maybe I just got a bad deal cause the pics showed a pile of beans but I got a cup of broth with like 5 beans They have alcohol but I just got one of the specialty sodas Was reasonably priced and will definitely be back

Kayvon and Jesus greeted us as we walked in the restaurant. This was our first time at this location. I had several questions regarding the menu and what they recommended. They were patient and kind and answered all my questions. Their recommendations were spot on, the food was delicious very fresh. The restaurant was clean. I recommend this location. It's the best one I have been to yet. (I hope I spelled names correct!)

Don't waste your time Services lousy food is lousy and the management team is lousy. I actually had a plate food brought to my table. Fish was burnt fries were burnt and they didn't think it was anything wrong with it.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. It's a quick-service seafood restaurant so, I was expecting mediocre food. But man, was I wrong! I took my time looking at the menu - good thing nobody was behind us in line because it took me a good 10 minutes to decide from the moment we went in. I wanted to do something safe since I haven't been here before. Should I do fish and chips? Too safe! So, I went with their create-your-own plate. I can control what goes on my plate and I can take full responsibility whether it's a bad choice or a good choice. And everyone I went with all got fish and chips - it was their idea to come here! I started to worry. After placing your order and paying, they'll ask you for your phone number so they can text you when your food is ready. They have plenty of options when it comes to drinks and food. They have Pepsi products (I'm not a fan) in can or fountain options. But they also have Stubborn sodas so, I went with that. They have a pineapple soda which I had a few sips of just to try it. I went with black cherry because that's my go-to aside from mixing root beer and vanilla cream soda. We got the text. And the food was fresh and hot. And oh my goodness was that food good! I went with shrimp skewers with garlic butter, dynamite fries, and street corn from their create-your-own plate. I had no clue what their dynamite sauce is all about and it was quite spicy but that was my fault for not asking. I kept eating the fries while sweating. The shrimp was well-seasoned, pink and perfectly cooked. It wasn't rubbery and overcooked. The garlic butter sauce was perfection! The street corn was nicely grilled and well-seasoned as well. I tried a piece of their fish and chips and I love that light crunchy batter - and it wasn't falling apart. It stayed hot for a long time. We asked for malt vinegar - if they didn't have it, it's a no-go! The service was courteous and friendly. They checked on us from time to time. The place is clean and it smelled clean. Some seafood places smell like grease or old fish - not this place. I'm definitely coming back here ASAP!

On today (31 May 2024), I went inside to place a to go order. I placed my order at 1:37pm at the Centennial location. I saw some practices that were displeasing. As I waited, I saw a manager excited about getting off work. The manager was focused on clocking out and ensuring that she had her take out. I waited close to an half an hour before my order was ready. I witnessed a worker at the front counter opening boxes and handling money, etc. The worker started handling food without washing her hands and not using gloves. The cooks were in the back playing around and joking. For me to have waited almost 30 minutes...That's totally unacceptable for this establishment! You all set the standard for the food and service you provide to customers. After waiting, getting my food and getting home. I attached a photo to show the service I received! As you see in the photo, my fish was cooked fresh and properly prepared....other than my shrimp. My shrimp are Cajun black, exactly your establishment doesn't sell Cajun shrimp. They are old and were refried. I would love for a manager above the store manager contact. Customers beware to not trust and establishment that you've frequently been using for food purposes!!!! Check your food!

Love this place honestly. Its a NEVER MISS FOR ME. Literally always ON POINT. Fast service, friendly employees, and a cool chill vibe. Everything that I've ate here has been delicious. Yooo the bathrooms are Cleannnnn S/O to the employee Brynn she was SUPER HELPFUL. We were lost trying to figure out something new to eat on the menu and she really helped us out with that.

I've been here 3 times now and I haven't been disappointed. They seemed a bit dis-jointed today as the fish sandwich came out much later than the rest of our meals. However, they more than made up for it with a free bowl of the clam chowder. We've always wanted to try it and it is the best I've had. This is quickly becoming my favorite place!!

Hey Yelp family I was able to enjoy a delicious lunch here and was helped by Kayvan he had good customer service and was helpful , this location is clean and service is fast , the food is always good I usually get the dynamite shrimp but the paleo salmon was so good I think that's going to be my go to from now on

The food is fresh. The service is casual. You pick up the food but they clear the tables. The Verde salas is spicy but flavorful. My niece and I loved the strawberry mind juice. My sister enjoyed her fish tacos and devoired her fried green beans. My niece enjoyed her clam chowder and cajun shrimp bowl. My only issue is the plates are heavy and the trays are a little cumbersome compared to the size of the tables.

Went back and got take out! Still just as delicious as the first time! This time I met Luigi Perez. He really made our experience great. He answered all our questions. Let us try the mint berry juice and it was so tasty we ordered two of them. The Cajun shrimp tacos were just as delicious as the first time. I had the street corn this time and it was really good. Like most places, getting fries to-go, I wouldn't recommend it. But they were still better than most. Just knowing I can have the fries and don't have to worry because they fry them alone in a separate fryer. All the sauces are delicious but I recommend the dynamite sauce. Again, I ask, expand to northeast Ohio! PLEASE!

This was my first time here and I am so happy to finally try them out. Also I've been missing out on some amazing fish tacos! The fish was delicious and they had great customer service. The pieces of fish in the fish and chips were huge. The fries were nicely seasoned. The batter in the fish was crunchy and not too oily. It's a great value for your money! We will definitely be back.

Just had the most amazing customer service experience on Valentine's Day dinner at California Fish Grill, and let me tell you, it was chef's kiss perfection! Kevon, the manager, went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. Despite the hustle and bustle of the holiday rush, his service was top-notch and he made us feel like royalty.
