California Pizza Kitchen Opens in Franklin | Eater Nashville

"Opening October 9 in the CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin, this California Pizza Kitchen marks the brand’s second Nashville-area location. It introduces new menu items—protein-packed power bowls, cauliflower-crusted pizzas, and craft cocktails—alongside the hand-tossed pizzas, pastas, and other dishes the large brand is known for. The location features indoor and outdoor seating and a standalone bar in the center of the mall, and showcases CPK’s updated California-inspired look with reclaimed elements (skateboard pieces flank a few walls), sustainable materials, and touches of Nashville throughout the space. Founded in 1985 in Beverly Hills, CPK is credited with popularizing innovative California-style pizza and now operates more than 250 restaurants in 13 countries and U.S. territories. Hours for the Franklin location are Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Have eaten here many times and supper happy with the quality of the food, staff, wait time and price of the food. Tried lunch for the first time and great deal we will be back. California Pizza Kitchen at CoolSprings Galleria is located at 1800 Galleria Boulevard, Franklin, TN 37064, inside the CoolSprings Galleria Mall, across from The Cheesecake Factory . This location opened several years ago and has grown into a staple of the regional dining scene . Inside the kitchen, CPK chefs follow a well‑defined system blending hand‑tossed dough, fresh produce, and seasonal flavors into signature pizzas, salads, and small plates that align with the brand’s Cali‑style creativity . The kitchen team typically begins each day prepping house dough in small batches, slicing produce for salads and starters such as dynamite shrimp or lettuce wraps, and crafting sauces in‑house. Staff rotate through stations—dough, toppings, ovens, salads, and plating—to maintain efficiency and high quality. CPK’s culinary training emphasizes consistency and innovation. For example, kitchen staff are trained to balance popular items like the BBQ Chicken Pizza or white corn guacamole with seasonal specials that reflect current flavor trends . The open‑view kitchen design encourages visual connection between cooks and diners, reinforcing the brand’s casual yet elevated atmosphere. Customer reviews spotlight both strengths and areas for improvement: while many praise attentive staff and flavorful menu offerings, some note occasional service delays or uneven salad‑pizza combos . Regardless, the CPK team at CoolSprings strives to deliver a pleasant, relaxing dining experience—even understaffing or busy service periods challenge them. Physically housed within a larger closed super‑regional mall featuring over 150 stores and anchor tenants like Macy’s, Dillard’s, JCPenney, and more, the restaurant sees consistent foot traffic and benefits from mall events and promotions . Overall, the CPK kitchen at CoolSprings Galleria blends precision, freshness, and staff training to uphold the brand’s reputation—making the location a solid option for shoppers and locals alike who crave California‑inspired pizza and creative menu items in a laid‑back environment.

I lived in California for many years, and CPK was always one of my favorite go-to spots. There’s just something about their food — fresh ingredients, creative flavors, and that signature consistency you can always count on. So when I discovered there was a California Pizza Kitchen right here in Franklin, I couldn’t wait to check it out. From the moment I walked in, the experience was outstanding. Katie, the manager, was an absolute gem. She went out of her way to make sure my order was perfect, and you could just tell how much pride she takes in her restaurant. Her enthusiasm is contagious — it’s rare to see someone so genuinely passionate about what they do, and it really shows in the service and the atmosphere. The food was every bit as good as I remembered from California: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pizzas are phenomenal (you can’t go wrong with any of them), and the menu has something for everyone — from light salads to hearty pastas and creative appetizers. Honestly, I’m surprised more people in Franklin don’t know about this location. It’s perfect for families, casual dinners, or even just grabbing takeout. CPK Franklin is a hidden gem that deserves a lot more local love. I’ll definitely be back!

Couple time. We loved the pizza but some of the dishes that they leave close to you when you want to serve yourself your pizza were dirty. They have a lot of staff and you see that sometimes they are not doing so much and make just noise. I suggest to have a private space for employees away from customers and they can feel better in those moments when they are waiting to see what to do. Entrance: they are fast w questions and move you to your table. I don't remember the name of the waitress was a guy and he was so good giving service. Restrooms were clean. Open kitchen you can see how and who cooks.

Google
Asked salad and grilled chicken came burnt, told manager and he mentioned it was normal as grill was 600 degrees. Ok, brought other (nice attitude) this time raw…claimed again and manager excluded from the check.

Google
Huge shoutout to the kitchen manager Katie and Juan - they both provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out in a timely manner. This location served the most delicious lettuce wraps I've ever had at a CPK location. My mom and I had such a positive dining experience - THANK YOU Katie and Juan!

Firstly, I am a supervisor for an international chain of hotels so I am in the food and beverage industry and I say this for you to take note. Our staff is young as well, so we get the mindset that these jobs are a dime a dozen; however, we take our customers seriously because they pay our bills. Moving on, we literally were ignored by staff, had to ask AGAIN for someone to take our very simple order, food arrived iced cold and looked like garbage. Server sorta wandered off to make it right or I believe that is what she said. Well, we didn’t stick around for you to make it right because our time is money too and eating early on the Friday after Christmas ( approximately 4:17p) isn’t an excuse for extremely poor food to arrive. My staff would be immediately fired for such deplorable service or lack thereof. We take the food service industry very seriously. You will NEVER get our business again and we noted the table next to us had an entire table of food and apparently theirs was poorly made as well because they left too. Shame on you CPK, you used to be fairly decent food, but that ship has sailed. Don’t bother trying to make it right because I will never step foot in here again. Happy New Year.

Google
We were in line for Santa pics a little longer than expected. It was 8:22 when we walked in the front doors. They said open till 9. Sadly I am unable to review the food as they would not seat us. Over 35 minutes left before closing. I explained we were sorry as we got stuck in long line for Santa. But we all knew exactly what we wanted to order, so would be quick easy order and that we would eat fast to let them finish up and close. Did not seem to care. No doubt about it they did not want our business. Our average tab there is over $120 so their loss. Sadly we will not be back. I know we were Cutting close on time but the way they acted was very disappointing.

Google
I’ve been to this CPK a few times since it first opened and the story is always the same. We went in today and waited for a very long time to have an order taken and even longer to get drinks. The restaurant was fairly busy, but not busy for a Christmas season rush. The staff attitude was mediocre. If you come to the Cool Springs mall, take it from a local - go to the Cheesecake Factory, or the food court (it’s actually pretty good!) Alternatively, just eat elsewhere. The food and service are not worth the price.

Yelp
CPK at Cool Springs is a two-part restaurant with an enclosed dining space, then an open-air bar/dining area. I popped by and bellied up to the bar area on a recent trip to the mall. I figured since it was getting late and I had to fight traffic still, I would grab a pizza to go before leaving the mall! I bellied up the bar and it took a few minutes to be greeted, even with minimal other patrons. Once I was, I quickly placed my order for a pepperoni, mushroom pizza and a Neapolitan pie. From order to table took about 15 minutes, which is not bad for a few fresh pies. Both were hot and made as expected! While the pepperoni and mushroom is a classic and my go-to combination, the Neapolitan pie was really great! Classic, simple and tasty. Overall, outside of the initial service delay, the experience was solid!

Yelp
I'm absolutely disgusted with the behavior of an employee here named Gracie. She has repeatedly run her mouth about me to customers -- including people who actually know me, even though she had no idea they did. This wasn't a one-off moment of poor judgment. This has happened multiple times, and it's beyond unprofessional -- it's embarrassing for the entire restaurant. An employee trash-talking guests to random customers is outrageous. It shows a complete lack of maturity, discretion, and basic workplace standards. If this is the kind of conduct management allows on the floor, it says a lot about their oversight -- and none of it is good. This location needs to get control of its staff immediately, because behavior like this drives customers away fast. I had higher expectations, and this place failed them miserably.

Yelp
This place is always awesomeOur recent dining experience at California Pizza Kitchen was absolutely fantastic. Our server, Jasmine, was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she truly made us feel valued as customers. The food was outstanding. We tried the new Neapolitan pizza, and it was perfectly cooked with fresh, flavorful ingredients. As always, the Thai Crunch Salad was a hit, delivering that signature delicious crunch and vibrant taste. We also had the pleasure of enjoying some awesome drinks crafted by Trey. Jaun one of the servers is awesome. We were also impressed by Katie, the manager on duty. Funny, real, but incredibly professional and approachable, ensuring we were all taken care of. Overall, our visit to California Pizza Kitchen was a fantastic experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Yelp
Food was good, service was a tad slow. Nice location in the mall. Had the pizza with habanero salsa and the dynamite shrimp. Shrimp could have used a good dipping sauce on the side but the pizza and mexican street corn were great!

Yelp
Came on a Saturday afternoon so we expected a wait. They take down your name and number then send a text when your table is ready. It works out pretty well since the restaurant is located within a mall. So you can walk around and shop (or window shop) until you receive the text. Which is exactly what my family and I did. After about 20 minutes we got our table. Our server was Tanner, nice guy but I think they may have assigned too many tables for him. The service was good in the beginning but it slowly declined during the course of our visit. I felt bad it seemed like Tanner was scrambling around to help everyone. He forgot our drink refills a couple times and forgot when my husband asked for cheese and peppers for our pizza. I'm sure it wasn't Tanner's fault, they were short on staff or he just had too much on his plate. As for the food, I got my typical order - the Original BBQ chicken pizza. I did request extra red onions, which they gave ample of. My husband ordered their new Burnt ends pizza. He stated that it was ok but he probably wouldn't get it again, the burnt ends is best left as a bbq dish and not as a topping on pizza. I was happy with my pizza though, tasted exactly as I remember from when I lived in CA! Overall the experience was ok. Food was good (for me, at least). Service was lacking a bit both with our server and the hostess but it wasn't awful. We just happened to come on a busy day so I understand. Would definitely come back! Hopefully next time not at peak hour.

Yelp
One of the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Food was terrible and the attitude of some of the employee was just awful. The Hawaiian pizza didn't even have the pizza sauce on it. And the bbq chicken pizza was terrible and was even brought to the table with a slice missing. Our server was the only thing decent. Would not recommend.

Yelp
I came in a couple of days ago to the bar, and my bartender Grayson was amazing! She was so attentive to me, and recommended some great food choices. I will definitely be coming back to see her again and eat that fantastic pasta.

Yelp
Late afternoon table available. Appetizer was good but no plates. Entree arrived and food per price was worth it. Salads at half order was worth the price. Took server awhile to bring water. Overall I would go back.

Yelp
The food was good had a pasta and chick entree. The taste was very good, great favors. The service was good and the ambience was very nice.

Yelp
A hometown chain favorite! Saw this gem in the mall while visiting and had to stop in. Doug was our server in the beautiful atrium and his service was AMAZING! Our pasta was fresh! Our salad wasn't the freshest but Doug comp'd it for us.

Yelp
I'll start by saying I've been a server for many years throughout my life and RARELY do I complain because honestly I know what it's like. We sat down and there were only 3 other people in the restaurant, it was not busy. Ordered waters and an app to start. App came, no water. Asked for water again. Looked up saw our server in the front of the restaurant hanging out and had to go up and ask a 3rd time for our water. The server was unclear of our order and had to come back 2xs and ask about it, it was 2 pizzas off the menu, no mods. The food came out and was delivered by a different server. The food was cold and the pizza was soggy as if it had been sitting under the heat lamp. Our server, Demoze, never came back to the table, never asked how the food was or if we needed anything. The only time he came back was to drop the check. I was underwhelmed by this experience, won't be coming back and can't recommend this place in good faith.

Yelp
Dirty! No toilet paper in any stall. Every table was dirty. Not worth the money. Honestly worst experience

Yelp
I ordered the Belgian Chocolate Soufflé Cake for my dessert, and this item is advertised as a "warm chocolate cake served with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and cacao nibs." They also offer vanilla ice cream for an extra $3.25 to the already $8 cake. I was very excited for this WARM cake, however when it arrived, I was shocked to receive an icy cold plate with an icy cold cake and half melted ice cream on it. It is extremely obvious that this cake had been sitting in a freezer and pulled out when I ordered it. When I took a bite of the cake, it tasted like a cold block of chocolate. NOT impressed. I do not recommend this dessert. 0/10.

Yelp
This is the awfulness pizza ever, my pizza looks like a gas station pizza lol , I think sir pizza is better than this lol

Yelp
This place used to be good. Do they even eat their own pizza? If they did, they would find that it is like eating a cardboard box. Dry, hard & flavorless. Hardly any sauce or ingredients on it. Drink was never refilled, or asked about. I sat for 10-15 min after done with no server in sight. Cmon, get it together people. $18 for a slab of overcooked dough stinks.

Ronda A.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to find that CPK served more than just pizza. Not only was the Banh Mi Power Bowl a healthy choice but a delicious one at that. Definitely going back.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
went in for a "quick" drink. server took 15 minutes to come greet us and we ordered our drinks. 20 minutes later and still no drinks. our server also never came to check on us to see if we wanted water or anything even though he was checking on all the other tables, so we left. went to cheesecake factory across from them. Was greeted and served in under 5 minutes. For a quick drink, would not recommend. For a 2+hr lunch, amazing spot.

Yelp
Normally, I don't tend to frequent this restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. We went in due to a t-mobile deal that would give a certain amount off of dinner. We were quite impressed with the small plates of wedge salad and guacamole. Then, it was time for the main meals. I tried the appetizer Malibu focaccia, which was very tasty! My friend had the chicken tequila fettuccine. This was probably what we were least impressed with, as it was very overly limey. The drinks were well done as well. Overall, we would probably come back here again. They should consider doing a happy hour, as it might help to bring customers in!

Yelp
$3.25 for a soda water. I don't recall ever being charged for wanting bubbles. I get that there is a cost fo carbonation, but woulda been nice to know that so I couda honored my frugality and opted for tap water. I think CPK has lost its mojo overall. Pricey for the experience and quality of food.

Yelp
We were seated quickly, the waitress was nice, and the food was good. I would especially recommend the BBQ Chicken Salad; it was very good.

Greg T.

Yelp
Surprised at the 2.5 star rating. I think their pepperoni pizza is ver good. If anyone knows of a better brick oven pizza, please let me know! I will say the atmosphere isn't great. After all, it is in a mall. I almost always get mine to go.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Refused to seat me at one of the 16 open tables because the bartender didn't show up to work. The only other time I went here, the server gave me shit for setting in the outside section after the hostess told me to set anywhere I like.

Yelp
I was really happy with my experience at CPK. I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon as a first timer and was blown away by how courteous and efficient the staff was. As it's a restaurant located within the Cool Springs Mall, I've always assumed while walking by that the atmosphere just feels like a boxed in food court. But that's not the case - they do a great job of taking you out of the hustle and bustle by use of dark wood, lighting and perfectly positioned TVs. I personally appreciated that not every single TV wasn't turned to a sports channel or to something depressing on the news - I was watching Friends :D. Also... you get bread beforehand (prayer hands). The food was great. Really big portions for lunch time pricing made it feel like a steal. With help/recommendation from my server I got the 7" pepperoni pizza with a Mediterranean salad. I really like the salad options offered; they're really a step up from the usual wilted greens, cheese and tomatoes you usually come to expect from the side salad moniker. This place is awesome and has given me a newfound appreciation for pizza - I'll definitely be a regular here.

Yelp
Consider this visit was a few days after Christmas, the wait for a table was quite lengthy. Once seated, it took quite a while to even get drink orders placed. We finally got to order and the food arrived, this is what we got. I ordered a luncheon special for a 7" chicken Thai pizza minus the carrots along with a side house salad with mustard balsamic vinaigrette but what came was a large helping of ranch dressing. I was trying to be nice and eat the salad as is. I also ate my pizza but sadly it was lukewarm to cold when it was served to me. This should have never been served like this. There was plenty of staff to make sure both our orders were served in a timely fashion and were hot. Not lukewarm to cold. So pizza was tough because of this served temp. Drinks were normal sweet tea but never got refilled. Even when the other diner at my table asked for a refill and my glass was at the same level. Sadly both service and quality of food taste and service was very much lacking. Sorry CPK you failed this time.

Addie S.

Yelp
I got fat shamed by a waiter. I ordered an appetizer for my table to share and then I asked if I could order real food and he said I mean if you want and laughed at me. I have been going to therapy for my body image. Will not be eating here again.

Yelp
I'm always tempted to try the specials but seem to have the best results when I just stick with the classics. I really dig this fresh comfort food especially on a rainy day. This location is perfect for when you nice break from the hustle and bustle of the mall.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. Over prices pizza in a fake "wood burner over" suppose to be at least but it's gas y'all.... So I was walking by the server and she couldn't get the cheese out of the cheese grater, she started hitting the top of it, and when that didn't work, she stuck her finger in there and started a circular motion to get the cheese out... WITHOUT A GLOVE! Disgusting!! Literally just stuck her bare finger inside to release the cheese onto the food... THEN I saw her grab a bowl of soup, and reached in to get the croutons to put on top of the soup, again WITHOUT A GLOVE ON!! .... She placed the soup on the tray along with the nasty hand cheese and proceeded to give it to the manager who was running the food. And before he grabbed the tray, he just wiped his nose with his hand and no glove.. Y'all this is a distrusting environment... DONT EAT HERE!

Steven G.

Yelp
Pizza and salad were pretty terrible, and it's overpriced. Not worth it. The staff was friendly, though.

Yelp
I was so excited for this place to open! Out of all the stores in their chain my worst dining experiences came from their Green Hills location. This store is pretty good in size. Food and service is outstanding and I finally have a CPK in Tennessee that ranks with my experiences in other states. I will return repeatedly, so long as they stay consistent. Don't forget to sign up for CPK rewards. It's free of course, and definitely worth the freebies such as a free dessert during your birthday month, among other things.

Yelp
California Pizza doesn't have just great food... they have a great Bar as well! Well worth my drive everytime!

Yelp
First, we walked in and wasn't greeted by anyone. It wasn't very busy either. The two hosts saw us walked in looked at us and turned around to do other things before greeting or sitting us. I understand if it was busy and they were rushing to finish other stuff, but it was 4:05 pm and half the restaurant was empty. After 5 minutes, someone came up and sat us but giving us a nasty look. The man behind us got greeted in a friendly way and sat immediately. Second, I came in with two other friends and we got exactly three small clumps of bread to share amongst three people. Third, the food was mediocre for the price.

Yelp
CPK at Cool Springs is a family-friendly restaurant with tasty eats and good service. It is a little confusing that there are three ways to "enter" the restaurant... and exterior mall door that requires you walk through the restaurant to the host, the front host stand, and the in-mall bar which also has a seating area for full service. The bottom line, just get to the host! My husband and I came on Veterans Day, and CPK had a great Veterans Day menu to provide free entrees to those who've served. On top of that, they provided coupons for BOGO entrees for coming in. It was one of the best deals out there for Veterans of any chain that I saw! They also gave us the opportunity to donate $5 to support Veterans, which we did. I loved the doughy pizza crust, and both my husband and I enjoyed our pizzas. We were also given bread and oil. The drinks were ordered were great, and the wine I ordered was a generous pour considering I ordered the smallest one. No complaints on food or service at all. I ate the entire pizza... I was hungry, and it was tasty. They had plenty of high chairs and were very family-friendly. The prices are on the higher side for individually-sized pizzas, but they seem to run deals and coupons and rewards to offset that. I'd come back, because the food was good, they treated us well, and our server Thomas was very friendly. It's one of the best options for dining when you're at the mall.

Yelp
Terrible attitude and foul language I was delivering food for DoorDash tonight, and I got an order for California pizza kitchen in Franklin Tennessee. When I arrived, I entered through the sliding doors that I always use and have confirmed are OK for people to enter through. I noticed that the sliding door was slightly ajar, and I assumed it was stuck so I pushed it open. I thought it had closed behind me, but apparently it hadn't (keep reading). I proceeded to the takeout window to tell someone which order I was picking up. I stood there for a minute or so, and saw a man come out of the bathroom that was off the hallway I had just walked down. He said to me something along the lines of, "You must be here for this" while he handed me a bag full of food. I said the name of the customer, and he confirmed. I thanked him and turned around to walk back down the hallway toward the sliding door. When I got about 15 feet away from him, I heard him say something about "using that door" and then "F**K YOU" very loudly and aggressively. I was shocked at first because I was pretty sure there were customers in the restaurant. Maybe they were just other workers doing their side work. I don't know. As I got closer to the sliding door, I realized he was talking to me because I noticed the door had not closed behind me. I did not turn around to confront him because everything happened so quickly, and I was afraid of what this guy might do because he seemed so aggressive and unhinged. I did make sure to close the door on the way out. About 20 to 30 minutes later after I had some time to think about what I wanted to do, I called the store to speak to this man to ask why he had been so rude to me. If he had a problem with me using the door, he could've simply said so. He did not have to be rude and offensive and aggressive. Especially since there were customers in the store, and nobody deserves to be spoken to that way. I was initially put on hold by the lady who answered the phone, and then another lady, Nicole, got on the phone instead of the man I was trying to contact. I told her I was holding for the man who yelled at me, and she said that she was handling the situation. She later told me that he was gone when I asked to speak with him again. Nicole told me she was sitting there folding napkins or doing silverware or something and would have heard him say something like that IF he had said something like that. I don't know if she is trying to cover for him, which I imagine is the case, or if she wasn't actually there. But she was implying that it did not happen. I can assure you. It did happen. I had no other reason to call and make a complaint about this guy. I don't know him. I thought it was rude, and I thought that they should know because I'm pretty sure he did that in front of customers. And not only am I a Door Dasher, I am also a customer of California Pizza Kitchen. Nicole would not give me his name, which I expected especially if she's trying to cover for him, but I asked her to give my information to the manager to call me. I will update my review when I hear from Cory. I expect an apology. Update: I have revised my rating from one star to two starts because I did hear from the manager, Cory. He was apologetic on behalf of his staff and told me that he would look into the incident.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner while we were at the mall tonight. I haven't eaten at a CPK in years so wasn't sure what to expect. I was actually surprised at how good our experience was, only because another chain is the last thing I figured Franklin needs. Started with some yummy bread with dipping oil - always a win for us. For dinner I had the Shrimp Scampi Zucchini and it was so very good. It was light and lemony, with a good amount of shrimp. I could eat this all the time! My husband had the spicy chicken pizza. He's never met a pizza he didn't like lol, so he enjoyed his meal as well. Our server was on top of things and super friendly. It's a tad pricey for pizza considering the size. Overall, a great addition to the current mall food offerings!

Yelp
I placed a catering order through the website yesterday afternoon for pick-up at 11:45 today and at 11:20 today I received an automated email about a technical issue and that our catering order may or may not have been received... frustrating. I show up to the restaurant and Jeremy (manager) greeted me at the door and after I explained my problem, he jumped right into action! In about 15 minutes he had my order (for 20 people) ready to go! The food was delicious and Jeremy's quick action and friendly service made it all the better. We will be ordering from this location frequently. Thank you, Jeremy!!

Let me count the ways this place absolutely disappointed me... worst California Pizza Kitchen experience ever. Our drinks were brought to us and then sat empty for 30+ minutes and nobody has checked on us. When I ordered unsweet tea and the server rolled his eyes... was that a sign? We did speak to the manager who took care of the ticket. Manager seemed like a nice guy and cares about the business.

Yelp
Always delish! Pizzas and their mexican corn are to die for. And great service. Cool Springs staff are always super quick too.

Yelp
Pizza was not great. Even the waiter said it was going to be bad because the manager had to make the pizza.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed with the service from this CPK. For starters , we could tell we had a very new server which was fine , but we had a party of 10 and the restaurant was otherwise empty, service was slow and other managers and servers were just standing around. Drinks took a while , food took longer. Had to "ask" for the bread and it came out after dinner. We ordered the strawberry farm salad among other things , and the salad was loaded with watermelon! Yes, watermelons. The picture did not show watermelon, and it was very overkill , and minimal lettuce for a salad. Won't be ordering that again. What really upset us most was the the lack of Communication on the kids eat free promo. We never saw an itemized bill, and we had hoped that kids ate free per adult meal purchase. When asking the server for clarification, she went to get her manager and he also provided no more information. It will take me a lot to try to return to this CPK.

Yelp
This was the worst meal I've ever had. I have gone to CPK in CA and had great expectations. Every part was awful. The service was amateur. No plates for the appetizers. All the food was cold and the Caprese sandwich didn't even come with mozzarella. I would never go back and would warn others to avoid it as well.

Yelp
These are the nicest people I have ever met! The cheese pizza is amazing, and the atmosphere is so nice that I forgot it was all apart of a mall!

Yelp
I went to CPK for the first time. I had the Mac and cheese which was good -a generous portion but wasn't the best I've ever had. Also had the chocolate soufflé which comes very warm. I was full so only had a couple bites--it was actually better the next day after being in the fridge. Service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
We like CPK and usually go to this location when shopping at the mall. Today, our family experienced the worst treatment we've ever had by a restaurant manager. After waiting for 50 minutes for a table and an extra hour for food that never arrived, when calling manager Nicole to report we couldn't even get a refill, she came out with an attitude, talked over us, and said that since we were not happy with the service, we needed to leave. We couldn't believe that instead of attempting to listen or trying to offer any solution, she would choose to be that rude, and dismissive. Clearly, she didn't care for the customer, the business or how she was representing ownership. We understand that restaurants face challenges behind the scenes yet, that's never an excuse to be demeaning and disrespectful to customers. People at the neighboring table were shocked at the manager's behavior. The whole thing was humiliating.

Yelp
We loved CPK in Green Hills. Sorry it closed. Thought we'd try this one in Cool Springs. Oh, my! Do NOT waste your time and money. Over-priced and food not good. Service worse than most around here, which, of course is not saying much. We will NEVER go back to this one or any other.

Yelp
Biggest problem was service, followed by food quality. Had to wait nearly 40 minutes for food even though there were only a couple of other tables seated. A drink refill took 10 minutes, and when it finally made it back they couldn't even spare two seconds at our table for us to ask for other items. Pizza crust was dry and chewy, unsure if that was from food sitting for a while before being brought to our table or if that's just their crust these days. The corn succotash was way too spicy despite not having any element that should have added heat in it. A far cry from what this chain used to be 10+ years ago.

Yelp
I have had CPK several times in my life. Usually really good. This time was good but not really good. This location is in the mall and is easily accessible. I would dine here again but not on the busy weekend.

Yelp
Ordered: Cauliflower crust chipotle chicken pizza minus chicken and Tostada pizza. Experience: Did not receive Lime cream sauce; Crust was burnt; Tasted very doughy. You had one job! Needless to say, not coming back to this location ever!

Yelp
Took forever to get and seat then finally I went to get seated and then the table had to be cleared so I very nicely said no thanks because the service was not going to get better. As I turned to leave the person seating me told me I should have more patience as they were extremely understaffed. They weren't nor were they busy. I turned and said I was very nice and you got rude for no reason. She went to say something more then realized she was out of line shook her finger and then turned to go into the restaurant. Thank you California Pizza Kitchen for confirming to the rest of jerks and rude folks out there completely unnecessary
