California Pizza Kitchen at Hill Center

Casual dining restaurant chain that specializes in California-style pizzas prepared fresh to order. CPK also serves a variety of pastas, salads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts. During lunch they offer Lunch Duos (7" pizza, half-sandwich, or soup & salad) which are a great deal. On my last visit, I ordered the 7" mushroom w/the Mediterranean salad. The mushroom pizza was excellent as always and the salad was a nice alternative to the caesar salad. Note that pizzas can be prepared on their gluten-free, cauliflower crust. I called in my order, but ended up waiting 10 min for anyone to even speak to me then another 10 min to get my order. Food was great, but the service not so much! Service was quick and efficient. Small pizzas are easily sharable. We tried the mushroom pizza with truffle oil, pot stickers, and pizza with pepperoni, sausage, olives and some other toppings that I can't quite recall. The sausage was quite spicy so beware. It's a bit pricey for pizza, but tasty nonetheless.

The Sangria Sampler was absolutely amazing! We also had the chicken tequila lime spinach fettuccine pasta and that was to die for!!! The service was fantastic and we really enjoyed our waiter. For desert we had the Belgium chocolate and ice which was mouth watering. We will definitely be back.

Nice, relaxing ambience. An upscale pizza place that also serves wine and pasta dishes. Reasonably priced, attentive service and well appointed location.

The service here was beyond excellent. The cauliflower crust was good and the rest of the meal was pretty good. Our waitress was the best of all.

The five cheese pizza with tomatoes was good. The veggie one had way to many mushrooms the artichoke salad was really good the dressing was really good. Just not the artichokes. (Not a fan in general of artichokes) but I'd order it again with out them. My server was very nice and an aspiring musician, the manager was also very nice. The place was clean and everything was well stocked in the restroom as well. They didn't rush us put even though we came before closing.

The food was pretty good. They were slow and One of the chef's ( Carlin ) came out and talked to us about the food. They were out of one of the sauces for a pizza but she improvised and made something even better. It was like be a pico type of drizzle. I ordered a salad that was really really good. Will definitely return!
