Yelp
California Pizza Kitchen is a casual dining restaurant located on Spring Mountain and South Las Vegas Blvd. You'll find them inside Fashion Show Mall near Dillard's on the first floor level. There's ample free parking underground, at the garage, and outdoor.
Inside is inviting and has plenty of seating for a table, booth, and high top. I sat much closer to the open kitchen because that's where all the action takes place.
Atmosphere is fun, relaxing and laid back. The vibe feels quite nice and welcoming. They play really good music from the 90s like Boys II Men and Mariah Carey, as well as modern pop songs with catchy melodies.
Menu offers a variety of drinks, starters, salads, soups, California style pizzas, main plates, pastas, and sweet treats.
They have Tortilla Spring Rolls available for a limited time. It used to be on the menu four years ago and was brought back by guests. The item was reintroduced in March, and it's been on the menu but was told will be removed on June 11th. There's a choice of 2 flavors at 6 pieces for $14.99, or 3 flavors at 9 pieces for $19.99.
I chose the 3-flavor Tortilla Spring Rolls (9 pieces, $19.99) for baja chicken, thai chicken, and mediterranean, each served with its own unique dip, it looks amazing and delicious! The hand-rolled flour tortillas are baked light and crispy in the pizza oven.
Baja chicken is tasty! It's grilled chicken with chipotle adobo sauce, queso quesadilla cheese, roasted corn and black bean salsa with cilantro, served with fresh housemade guacamole, very good!
I like the Mediterranean spring roll, this one is rather unique! It's vegetarian and has grilled zucchini, sliced cremini mushrooms, red onions, black olives, melted mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, served with a yummy marinara, the housemade sauce is good, I like it!
The best spring roll is Thai chicken with peanut sauce, so flavorful! It has grilled chicken with melted mozzarella combined with bean sprouts, scallions, carrots, toasted crunchy peanuts and fresh cilantro, served with a sweet and tangy Thai peanut dressing, delicious!
For sweets, there's a selection of cakes and key lime pie. Manni suggested Butter cake ($9.99) with ice cream (+$3.25), which is delightful! Butter cake is light, moist, and not too sweet. It had a nice dollop of whipped cream, served with vanilla Häagen-Dazs ice cream, so yummy!
Service from Manni and Katie is welcoming, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Manni is very kind and patient to make recommendations, and Katie is super nice, attentive, polite, and she even checked in to make sure everything is good and I appreciate it!
