Yelp
I don't tend to like pizzas or chains, but I love this pizza chain. I'm not too sure why the reviews here are average, because this CPK always hits and is pretty popular amongst the mall denizens. They have a weekday happy hour and lunch specials, take and bakes, and even calorie counts. They do occasional promotions and let you stack certain coupons, and most of the employees try their utmost to give you the best service; some of the Italian servers are also quite attractive.
Have I waited a long time for stuff before? Yes but not unreasonably long, but I find myself coming back here time and time again because they consistently satisfy my dine-out cravings. Depending on the time of day, there may be a wait, or the place may be empty. Tables are usually pretty clean, and they have a takeout ordering counter near the back (they have good packaging).
I've had a lot of things on their menu, so I'll just give some pointers and list my favorites. Their complimentary bread and olive oil is freakishly delicious, especially when it's fresh from the oven (you may have to request it if they forget). Someone here knows how to make bread. It's cold and stale sometimes, but if you hit them at the right time, you're going to need ask for some refills.
Ask them for freshly grated parmesan cheese (they sometimes forget to offer) - they grate it right over and it's delicious and melty.
Their cocktails are decent, appetizers are good (though I wish there was more variety and stuff from a generic Italian restaurant instead of fusion), and salads are filling even at half portion. The pasta is pretty delicious and tastes high-end, like they make the pasta there and use quality ingredients for the sauce (except the spaghetti). Their chicken dishes tend to run dry so I'll avoid that protein here unless it's their specialty pizza or salad (they are known for The Original - barbecue chicken topping).
The pizza is nice and light, artisanal-tasting, thin and floppy, with a chewy bready crust. It's won't be as good as wood-fired pizza, but it does a decent imitation.
