"In a part of town lacking in outdoor drinking spots, California Sun in Silver Lake is an excellent place to hang out when you’re looking for a patio on the Eastside. They also have a vegan-friendly pizza menu that will serve its purpose if you’re drunk and looking for something to munch on (we like the Kevin McCallister - plain cheese), but you’re really here for the tap list full of hard-to-find local beers on tap and by the can in a pick-it-yourself cooler." - Brett Keating

California Sun makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. First the owner looks at your skin and determines which bed you should get in and for how long for you to build cause its better to build your tan than being toasted. I really enjoy the fact that they actually care about your skin and they want to make sure that you are satisfied with your results. Love this place!!

The options of beds is small. The reason I decided to go to a diffrent tanning salon though is because they don't have a spray tan machine. They do have a person that can give you a spray tan but they do not offer any unlimited monthly spray packages and you need to make an appointment to make sure the emplyee that does them is there. For regular tanning beds this place may be great but for myself and my friends that like to go to a spray tan machine once or twice a week this place just isnt an option.
