I initially visited this place based solely on the ratings. Once I arrived mid week, and began to read the reviews, and the owners response to criticism is beyond rude. No surprise when I got sick after having the food, and didn’t finish my review, a snark remark was left in reply.
But fear not, see below:
I arrived for a late lunch and ordered the catfish, with Mac and cheese, and yams craving the taste from home, and decided not to cook.
Pros:
The fish came out hot
The cornbread was good
I was offered to sample the cake, and declined.
The waitress was attentive, their was 2 other parties there
The lemonade was good, if you like overly sweet
Lemonade.
Cons:
The catfish was over cooked, and the oil needs to be changed
The yams were cold
The Mac and cheese had a bitter taste to it
The food made me sick
The owner is clearly rude, and was disappointed by his review responses to anyone stating a real review.
OWNERS RESPONSE:
Because I answer all reviews I have to say something here. So you leave this and say nothing and you hope someone does what, listen. Change your world and you won't feel the need to hurt others to make yourself feel better. Moving on.
IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: life is good, and you should learn to accept criticism. Learn from it! Grow from it, and stop taking everything so personal which is very evident in your responses. If you weren't so quick to respond in anger, you would have noticed that I am no rookie reviewer, I have written more reviews than your restaurant currently has, but as you said #Moving on!
