Pretty good pasta (above average) compared to restaurants. Only available for take out service was relatively quick. The pasta texture has a nice bite which makes it feel homemade. Tried four of the sauces favorite is definitely the pesto which is on the thick side with almonds sprinkled on top. They are open only during the week days.

A little hidden gem in Downtown, This place is amazing, it is just for knowledgeable people that understans how to appreciate great italian cuisine. So do not expect for a fancy, romantic, silverplate place, this is like been in your italian aunt's kitchen and she's cooking only for you, no place to dine in, you are "in the kitchen", watching how the pasta is made for you. The prices are really low for the quality of food that you get there, ok it is a take out only, but trust me, you will love your meal. It is hand made pasta made to order, and once you try it is like a burst of flavors and textures in your mouth. Team is very fast and friendly ready to to take care of you and give you the best they have. This place is a must, don't miss it!!!

I order from Call Me Pasta more often than my doctor would like… but I have little self-restraint when it comes to pasta this great. I’ve had nearly all sauce options, each consistent with off-the-charts flavor especially for a takeout restaurant! The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and quick. Definitely ask for a side of fresh focaccia, you won’t regret it!

Damn good pasta meal. When you need to satisfy a pasta craving but don’t want to pay $25+ for a plate in a restaurant this place is the one. Had the Cacio De Pepe and it was great. Hit the spot and was so satisfying with its cheesy flavor. Cool place with 0 seating inside.

This place was so yummy I got the spaghetti Cacio de Pepe with chicken and mushrooms 10/10. FYI: The place only has two chairs unfortunately but was fine for my boyfriend and I! Definitely returning :)

Absolutely loved the experience at Call Me Pasta! Attention was fantastic, and the food was even better! We had the Spaghetti Pomodoro, Gnocchi Ragu, and Cavatelli Vodka. All were truly great tasting and perfectly sized portions. Pasta was al dente, sauce had great taste (only thing I would've changed is mixing the chicken with the sauce a little bit more)... Really couldn't ask for more. Definitely wouldn't hesitate coming back if we're in the area and wanting some great home made pasta.

I have been coming here for a few years for lunch, but not very often as pasta is not my usual choice for lunch. Every time I give myself over to carbs and order, I'm very happy because their pastas are always nicely cooked, and the sauces are great. The only downsides to Call Me Pasta are the frequent name changes (lol) and they often are out of parm cheese, or red pepper flakes, or bread. I lovely the newish Laurel and Hardy sauce, the Alfredo is also good, and I just had the Arrabbiata sauce for the first time and loved it. In my experience you can go wrong with any dish here. I recommend trying their restaurant in Soho if you are looking for a nice sit down experience.

I have been coming to Call Me Pasta since it used to be Fluem Pasta (RIP) and then Pastagram (RIP) though this was the first time I have returned since the pandemic started. I noticed that the layout of the space had changed-- gone were few tables and the long narrow space and in its place was a larger menu and a smaller waiting space as the staff member explained to me that Call Me Pasta was now more of a takeout and pasta factory for their sister restaurant, Sola Pasta Bar in SoHo. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Like Stravinsky ($11.95) and the Bring Me to Capri ($12.95); the former was rigatoni alla vodka and the latter was spaghetti al limone. I really liked the citrusy bite that the spaghetti al limone gave me, but I would have loved some parm and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes, but Call Me Pasta was sadly out of both. The staff did give us an extra portion of free bread though, which made for a nice snack on our walk to the ferry.

This is a cute little pasta place, seating is not too big only for 2 people. Staff is friendly. I tried the rigatoni with ragu sauce the first time and 2nd time the grandma, which is spaghetti with meatballs. The pasta is nicely homemade and perfectly cooked at dente. The sauce is rich and flavorful but overwhelmingly salty. After 3 bites it's overpowering. They asked if we wanted bread but they don't tell you is $2.66 for a tiny piece. So make sure you want bread before accepting.

I have ordered takeout from this spot twice. Upon entry, I have seen staff working diligently, making fresh homemade pasta on the spot for each order. The first time I went, Mike highly recommended that I order the spaghetti and meatballs, so I went with his recommendation. Everything is homemade fresh in-house. Unfortunately, my meatballs were a bit cold on certain spots, so it wasn't a perfect dish. So the next day, I ordered the tasting for two dinner options, which is offered only through Uber Eats. I took the pastas home, and it was still warm after the hour commute. Our favorites were: Call me Alfredo - sauce was really good Don't Touch My Protein Pecorino Lovers - very peppery add lots of cheese Mr. Green - pesto sauce was really thick, and more pine nuts were needed to balance the textures. The pasta Tasting for two is worth ordering if you want to try everything at once. There are also other items such as tiramisu and seasonal dishes such as Bring On the Capri.

This place was more of a 3.5 star but I'll round up since it's hard to find speedy pasta spots around here. I got the Rigatoni with Pomodoro sauce, Broccoli, Mushrooms, and Chicken, which ended up being $18.50. It's not expensive compared to a sit down Italian restaurant, but I still felt it was overpriced given the portion size, so-so food quality and lack of seating. I think the pasta itself was well cooked, but the toppings were rather disappointing. They were also out of meatballs. If you are in a time crunch, Call Me Pasta will do but I'd suggest you take it easy on the toppings since they aren't worth it.

Hm... was giving it a try since it's so close to work. Service is good. Food is....putting my blood pressure in jeopardy. The pasta tastes like a bag of salt. And making it very difficult to swallow the food and of course because of the saltyyyyuyuu spaghetti, I couldn't tell whether the meatballs are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Spaghetti is kinda and not quiet Al-dente. I may not go back to try or my doctor would cry.

I did not expect this place to be as good as it was. I went here with a couple of coworkers to grab lunch and there were a lot of amazing options to choose from. I finally got the rigatoni with ragu bolognese and it was delicious. Bolognese was made with ground meat and cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also got the focaccia to go which made the meal 10x better. Definitely try this spot if you're in the neighborhood and in the mood for pasta, it won't disappoint.

If I could give this place a 3.5 I would The food is very good, consistent, and will surprise you for a small spot which is basically express food for those on the run. They also have a pretty wide variety for whatever pasta you may be craving The downside is just like someone else wrote in their review - this place is open whenever they feel like it. Crazy, absolute madness. There are so many ways I wanted to take this review, but I will settle for the way you are seeing now, scattered. I guess this is why people go to restaurants, because if you do not know how to cook pasta, they will do it for you. As if that is one of hardest skills to learn. For $13, I got a rigatoni pasta, cooked al dente (to the tooth, or firm, in Italian), in bolognese sauce. It tasted as expected, like a pasta in meat sauce. But you get too little pasta, despite the fact it is cooked the way pasta should be. The meat sauce is good. FiDi really grabs you by the (blankety) here. Two or three dollars less and I am happy. Not this. I also got tiramisu and it was also good. However for $7, I will not run back to get this again. Friendly cashier (maybe the owner). Nice. It is not nice that there is only two chairs and they call that indoor dining. Everybody else has to eat it like you ordered Olive Garden takeout and take it to the streets. In fact, I could go to Olive Garden and get the exact same thing and eat like a human being. Or better yet, make it myself and save money.

I really wanted to like it, I feel like there is some thought and care put into making the pasta dishes but it was so overwhelmingly salty I just couldn't get over it. And I'm a person who likes salt! I ordered the Grandma which is a basic spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs. Couldn't finish it due to the overwhelming taste of salt. Too bad, I had high hopes!

I stopped by for a takeout order after checking out my options for a quick dinner. Pastagram was on my wishlist for some time now. I noticed some customers sitting outside, and checked their opinion before taking the plunge. It is a tiny place with a few small tables, better suited for a quick bite if dining in. The kitchen is wide open, and you can watch as they prepare your dish. I had spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti is on the robust side, cooked al Dente. I found the serving size to be just fine, especially considering the price point. I only wish they would include some grated cheese with the pasta. Update, I went again and this time they gave grated cheese on the side. I was quite satisfied.

I had ordered a Fettuccine Alfredo with mushroom. I got a side of red peppers and parm and the total was around $13-14. To me, for the portion size, the freshness, and the flavor this is an amazing price! They were even so nice and gave me a side of bread for free. Wait time was less than 10 minutes which i didn't mind since there's a bunch of little shops around the area. The store itself is small only two seats but this is more of a takeout place anyways. Grab this and have a nice day in battery park! Love love love!

I enjoy Call Me Pasta's decor, quick food service, and customizable pasta options. Not only is it a contemporary space that was very well thought out, the service is always fast due to the nature of the food's cooking time. The entire kitchen is open so you can even watch them make your food if you sit in the right area. The owner really cares about his business and this is reflected in the quality of his food. Every pasta and sauce is well made and with depth of flavor and perfect texture. Lastly, the prices are good (affordable) but the deal gets even better if you double your portion of pasta and save some for later! As a vegetarian, I never feel guilty about ordering just spaghetti with pomodoro sauce lol. If I wanted to, there are many other vegetarian options I could customize for but I just love my regular spaghetti and tomato sauce :D.

Ok, I think I ate here before, but the place had a different name? Then it changed and it wasn't so good. This is third version of it, and it's so far my favorite! Pasta is delicious and freshly made in front of your face. You can peak between 4/5 different types of pasta, and 4/5 sauces. Then you can also add protein if you feel like. Pasta is cook al dente, and my sauce was yummy! I definitely go back if I want a nice warm plate of pasta. There are also 6 or so tables if you decide to stay over.

Overall decent meal. I tried the fusilloni with pomodoro sauce and broccoli (be advised, it's a very very small amount of broccoli added). The staff was polite, the kitchen is open so I could what was going on with my food, decor was cute. The pasta was pretty good. I was told the sauces are house made too...not so sure about that especially after seeing a labeled pesto jar near the cook station, eh. I may try them again.

Don't know why people hyped this place up, the pasta isn't even that good and for 16$ it's definitely not worth the portion size. My first thought to opening my pasta was "... this must be a joke, the portion size is extremely small for what I paid for" first time tasting it ever " :l I'm disappointed" the guy at the counter recommended it for me and it was by far the worst thing you can get as a recommendation... I'll try it again with something more basic but until then I'm leaving my rating as is. Really disappointed...

Came across this low-key place while walking with a couple of friends and MAN am I happy we did! Considering we came the day after Christmas, it wasn't busy at all and we got to enjoy the super cute ambience of the place. Honestly, with all of the customizable options--from the pasta style, to the sauce, proteins/veggies, and more--i'd consider this the Chipotle of the pasta industry. They also have really great pre-made options to choose from! Not overpriced either... will definitely have to come back another time! My only complaint is that the chicken was somewhat hard/overcooked but at least we know we wont get salmonella! :)

I am a big fan of pasta and this was such a cute place that I had to try it out! Overall, I would say it was an average on-the-go pasta place. I would've probably liked it more if they didn't charge for every veggie or meat option you wanted to add to your pasta. Well for the location I understand the pricing but c'mon 10$ for pasta and only three choices of a sauce (9.95 but in nyc it's really 10$) and then 2$ add on for a protein and 1.50 for each veggie one can only laugh. Your better off buying the ingredients and making a better dish at home. That's not all they have a mini NY cheesecake for 5$, is this a joke? Add in 7$ more dollars and go buy the things you need for the cheesecake and make it at home as well. Went here one time for lunch expecting a decent price but I guess wrong.

This place has super cute decorations and a group of friendly staff which immediately drew my friend and I in for dinner. Unfortunately the portions are tiny in comparison to most of the Italian places I've been to in the city, and what killed it for us was the sauce. I ordered a spaghetti vodka and my friend ordered the gnocchi, but both dishes tasted like their sauce was straight out of a bottle from the store. Not to mention I assume they are in the middle of a renovation so they had no AC and we were extremely uncomfortable with the heat during dinner. We ended up barley being able to finish our meal, took the rest to go, and went elsewhere to eat.

This Cavatelli was prepared just perfectly. The staff are so polite and nice, it makes coming here fun. What an amazing find Call Me Pasta is.

It's not a big menu, but it's definitely well practiced. Guess the only difference is you don't have to fear them :)

The spaghetti is pretty good, it's properly firm (about al dente or between al dente and molto al dente). Taking a star off because the portion is smaller than expected, which is about 75% of a standard spaghetti you would get from Noodles&Company (of course it tastes much better here). This place was so nice and clean. I loved how we got to "build out own pasta" it was so delicious the fettuccine Alfredo was perfect! I have leftovers to take home because I couldn't finish it all! My husband loved the penne ! Everything wad priced fairly and there was basically no wait time . I would highly recommend, can't wait to come back and enjoy more pasta !!!

Exceeded my expectations. Pasta was the star. Very fresh homemade tasting pastas with pretty good sauces. We got cavatelli with vodka and extra Parm and bolognese. We both enjoyed our meals.
