We have photographed several weddings here over the years and every one has been amazing! From a photographers viewpoint, this venue is stunning. No matter the time of day, there is always a beautiful spot for photos. The getting ready suites for the bride as well as the groom are both well lit and have enough space for everyone to get ready without feeling too cramped. Photos during golden hour at Callaway are a must, the sun setting over the hills is always beautiful and worth making time for. e cant wait to be back! IG @_themcfarlands_

I had a wonderful experience at Callaway Winery! Although my aunt and I frequently dine at the restaurant, this was our first time visiting the tasting room—and it definitely won’t be our last. Amanda was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each wine in detail and helping us discover a few new favorites. Her warm and attentive service made our visit truly memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up joining the wine club! We're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend

We just had our wedding at Callaway Vineyard & Winery and it was simply beautiful, a dream come true! We had about 215 guests, so the venue was great for our large wedding. The ceremony was on the lawn, around sunset and the views were amazing! We had our receiption in the Barrell room and the ambience had a classic, romantic vibe. Wine and food were so delicious! We worked with Mariah and Tanya. Both were super nice and accomodating of our requests. We appreciate them so much for being so responsive, understanding and helpful as it made planning our wedding fun and exciting. We will forever cherish the memories of our wedding at this beautiful venue.

Google
We express our sincere appreciation to Tanya, Mariah, and the entire Callaway team for the exceptional service provided. Our wedding reception was exquisite, surpassing all expectations. The venue's stunning location and breathtaking views created a truly memorable ambiance. The cocktail hour outside the barrel room and the reception within the barrel room were flawlessly executed. We were particularly impressed by the event's efficiency and organization. The availability of bride and groom suites was a highly valued amenity. The food was delicious, the wine was excellent, and the service was consistently positive and professional. The seamless execution allowed us to fully enjoy our special day without any concerns. We only regret the evening's conclusion. We also commend DJ Armando Quintero, aka QthemusicDJ, for his exceptional MC skills and music selection, which significantly contributed to the positive atmosphere. Thank you, Callaway, for creating an unforgettable experience.

We had our dream wedding at Callaway Vineyard & Winery on April 12, and we cannot say enough good things about the entire experience! From the very beginning, we worked with Jenn, who helped us get everything started, and then Mariah, who guided us through the rest of the planning. Both were incredibly responsive, organized, and thoughtful, and the whole team was so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. A huge shoutout to our two fantastic bartenders, especially Laura—our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful and sweet she was! The service across the board was impeccable. The venue itself is absolutely picturesque. We toured over 10 venues in the Temecula area, and Callaway truly stood out for its beauty, flexibility, and the sense of ease we felt working with their team. We reached out to them in a bit of a pinch after running into issues with our previous venue in San Diego, and with just six months left to plan, Callaway welcomed us and made everything happen seamlessly. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors with stunning views, and then moved inside to the breathtaking barrel room for our reception. Beyond the full wine and bar options, there were so many thoughtful touches and special add-ons we were able to include. One huge perk: tables, chairs, and other essentials were included with the venue fee, saving us time and stress with outside rentals. It was also incredibly convenient to have two getting-ready rooms onsite for us and our wedding parties, which made the day run so smoothly. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we also want to highlight how much we appreciated the Callaway team going above and beyond to make us feel included and ensuring our guests felt welcomed and celebrated. It’s a magical venue with an incredible team, and we feel so lucky that we were able to celebrate our wedding here. If you're considering Callaway, do not hesitate!

Google
Voted best tour of a winery in Temecula for a reason. One of the best wine tours I’ve ever taken so great to see behind the scenes and how they make all the wines. Also, one of the oldest wineries in the valley, it’s nice to know it’s also affiliated with Callaway golf as well. Definitely one of the wineries you need to visit in Temecula.

Google
This place is amazing. Our Photo Booth company was hired on for a company Christmas party at this venue and the parking lot and location was so assessable for us to off load and bring our equipment inside the restaurant. The location is decorated so nicely for the holidays and it was so clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Callaway was our first winery we stopped off at on our booked wine tour. Out of the three Callaway was the best! I think there are about 8 wine tickets, but you definitely don't need them all because ifykyk! Overall it was a great time for our group of 16, there is a big outside area. Their tasting room was welcoming and they had a large variety! They are dog friendly too! (dog didn't actually drink)!

Yelp
We were doing a quick visit to Temecula wine country and kind of randomly picked a couple of wineries to try. Since Callaway was one of the oldest, and got recommendations on travel reviews we added it to the list. We were there on a Thursday, so we didn't have to worry about crowds at all. Callaway was easy to find and parking was plentiful. There were only a couple of other parties there while we were so we got very prompt and personal service. The tasting was $27 for 6 pours and you get to choose what you want from a pretty large menu of wines. Servers were friendly and offered suggestions when asked, but weren't super outgoing. The tasting room and grounds are nice, very clean and had good indoor and outside space, but for my taste, lacking a little in character. The wines were very good, but not exceptional. Would I return, probably. But my goal is to try several wineries to find my favorites.

Yelp
I attended the Aeromyth concert last night at Callaway Vineyard. Although the band was great, the venue allowed guest to dance in front of the first row. They also allowed a woman to stand in front for multiple songs and live stream. This blocked everyone's view of the concert. If the seats were elevated, this would not been a problem. I asked one woman to move slightly to one side and she flipped me off. Then got right in my face as if she were a man. She then had the audacity to grab my gf's arms and attempt to yank her out of her chair (pc 242). I pushed this woman away with one arm. Her husband then threatened to put me in the hospital (pc 240). At this point I've had enough and invited him to come over and try it and returned the choice words they had been hurling at me. The manager and security finally showed up and I told them what happened. They went to talk to the man and woman, but did nothing else. I do not recommend this venue unless you like to have assault and battery committed upon you.

Yelp
Voted best tour of a winery in Temecula for a reasonAlso, one of the oldest wineries in the valley, it's nice to know it's also affiliated with Callaway golf as well. Definitely one of the wineries you need to visit in Temecula. The have a restaurant on site plus some snacks available on the shop. Plenty of outdoor seating for sunny day. It's nice and intimate here. Plus the sommeliers are knowledgeable and great!

Yelp
Went for the Fathers Day celebration and came away with pretty mixed but overall below average results. The weather was sweltering hot at 99 ° F the hottest day to date, and the sunroom turned into semi outdoor dining room with no air conditioning and mist blowing fan just didn't do anything for creature comfort that we needed for our dining. The service was decent. Due to the demands, the staffs were ill prepared to keep up with our reservation, but it didn't take too long for the lady to clean and set up the simple table with small dishes and utensils. The appetizers were decent but small portions for the price. It was made for individual serving but with Napa Valley prices. The best one was air fried cauliflower with few mushrooms and bacon. The Ahi Tartarè and Ceviche were decent. Problem arose with dinner salads. Cesar salad with white anchovies came out with room temperature romaine lettuce unwashed. The leaves were all black, shriveled as if they were left out few days after the expiration date. The Duck Leg Spätzle was atrocious. The German pasta was tasteless with no sign of semolina or herbs to bring out the robust flavor. It lacked true nutty deep flavor instead had bland flour flavor that I personally get turned off. The duck leg was cooked to make the meat only edible with leftover Neanderthal teeth. If you like plastic tough flavorless dark meat, you are in for the treat of your life. I rather enjoy the perfectly prepared Peking Duck at any time. The Father's Day special Tritip was well done and had Mac & Cheese as a side dish. The special day was not that special due to the mediocre foods. Hopefully it was an exceptional day not the norm.

Yelp
So I had my friend's birthday party and she did winery taste and her favorite was 2021 special selection muscat canelli and NV Bella rose. The ambience is pretty and classy but looks like country view. Service was excellent and Dave helped us, He was great and patient. Will love to go there again!!!

Yelp
Went wine tasting earlier this week for my birthday. Callaways was our first stop and by far our favorite winery of the day. Laura V. was awesome! She was very friendly and knew just what wines to bring for us try. It was a terrific experience and we joined the wine club because of how Laura took care of us! Great employee and good vibes in the tasting room! See ya soon!

Yelp
My husband and I decided to join the OPR wine club because the wine servers in the tasting room are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Ian, in particular, gave us great food recommendations, which we ended up trying and loved. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and beautiful views made it an easy decision to become members. The venue itself is stunning and ideal for hosting all kinds of events from engagements and weddings to birthdays and baby showers. The upstairs members-only area offers a breathtaking view that's perfect for any special occasion.

Yelp
Compared to the other wineries, this one just didn't stand out. It's basically a patio with a partial view, set up just to take money for the wine. I wish they'd tried a little harder to create an experience--maybe a walk through the vines or something more immersive, with the plants and environment. Just sitting under a shade sail and drinking wine? I can do that in my backyard.

Yelp
Nice open space, plenty of room for the entire crew. We took our furry friend and she loved it. Wine was tasty and staff were helpful. Knocking off a star for value. They were very stingy with their pours considering the price tag. Normally you'd want to evangelize your wines, they'd rather do extreme bean counting.

Yelp
The hospitality is awesome!! I love the wine and the servers are amazing!! Shout out to Amanda!! I would recommend Callaway to anyone who loves good wine!!

Yelp
My husband and I have visited Callaway Winery several times now as part of a wine tour. Callaway Winery is my favorite winery in Temecula. The grounds are so beautiful and they have plenty of seating space. They also hold weddings there, which looks like a perfect wedding venue. Everything is so green and beautiful. The wine is delicious! I usually prefer white wine, but their red wine is also amazing. We had 6 tasting and we were able to choose from a list of wines which was nice. Most wineries have a preset list. Service is always good. We took our tasting's outside to enjoy the beautiful views, like always it was a perfect visit!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by on the way to Lake Elsinore. $25 for 6 tastes of wine and the selection of wines are vast. We wanted to buy a few wine glasses, however, they wanted $15 a glass - a bit steep. We then ate at the onsite restaurant Meritage: the menu was small and somewhat expensive. Overall, a good visit.
google avatar

Tami B.

Yelp
Love this place for a glass of wine and breathtaking views. It also seems like everything is in order compared to other tasting rooms I've been to in wine country. Clean organized and a friendly staff.which makes it all the better for a glass of wine and watching the sunset.

Michelle P.

Yelp
Our bachelorette party Loves Ian Thanks for the wine Ian and for your tasteful nonchalance!

Yelp
This is our second time here for my wife and I. This time we came with some friends who haven't. Callaway is the first winery to come to Temecula in 1974. The location is awesome on top of a hill with great views and with great wines/tasting bar. This time we ate at their restaurant Meritage. The food is great and the service is even greater. We ordered the arugula flatbread and a cheese and charcuterie plate with a bottle of chardonnay. We had a great time enjoying the food with great friends and great wine.
google avatar

Joy T.

Yelp
I have to say, I have never had a better winery experience than coming here. The wine was well produced, the atmosphere is great, the food is spectacular, and the service was what service should be: respectful and considerate. Even after an initial disappointing beginning, by the time my mom and I left we were very pleased! It made my birthday a great success and if you're looking for a place to visit in Temecula's Wine country, put this on the list. To Sam and Amanda, thank you for your hospitality and providing such a wonderful experience!
google avatar

Kayla Z.

Yelp
Ian was amazing!!! He was very knowledgeable about all of the wines and helped each of us pick exactly what we wanted!! It was so beautiful up here! Lots of beautiful places to take pictures with the girls!! They even had live music which was so fun for us!!

Kristina Y.

Yelp
I recently planned my 35th Prom themed birthday party at Callaway and it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life! I worked with Jenn and she made the whole process so easy and enjoyable! She truly took the time to make sure every detail was handled and that I was taken care of. I am so grateful to Jenn and the staff at Callaway for everything! This winery will always hold a special place in my heart. I can't wait to be back! Definitely book your wedding or event here if you want it to be the best day ever!
google avatar

Corey H.

Yelp
We were here for a convention and did not taste any wine nor go inside any of their retail facilities. We were in the barrel room with 500 people and I must say that is probably too many people. Not sure who planned it, but it was too much togetherness and too hot in there. They did get more air conditioning and the people cleared out (as they do at multiple day conventions) so it was less cozy. The employees that sold water and snacks and the security were very friendly. The grounds were very clean. The bathrooms were plentiful and nice. There is an onsite restaurant, I had $28 worth of couscous, good but spendy. Beautiful views. Plenty of parking. Well marked signs to get in. Try to be there when the sun sets!
google avatar

Lacy D.

Yelp
We recently became members and so far are very pleased with our choice. The staff is friendly and the wine is good - what more can you ask for? There wasn't a wine I tried that I didn't enjoy and we're looking forward to receiving our first shipment. The members' area upstairs is also nice and you really cannot beat the view between the tasting room and the restaurant - it's so beautiful! Definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting at the very least.
google avatar

Giancarlos B.

Yelp
One of my favorite wineries in Temecula. Awesome views, great wine. Some of the servers are friendlier than others, but overall nice people. We went there as part of the Temecula Wine Trolley tour and we were given tasting cards with 6 tastings each. I loved their Cabernet and one of the other wines that had Grenache. If you sit in their balcony you will have an amazing view whilst you enjoy their wine.
google avatar

Nelson L.

Yelp
Great food and good service. Good portion of food. Good amount of seating. Great vineyard to be at.

Shari B.

Yelp
Thank you to the Callaway Winery wine club team for hosting a fantastic new release party for their '23 & '24 wines. This member event was a lot of fun, great crew, great wines and great food from the team at Meritage. We are looking forward to future member events.

Yelp
We chose Callaway to start off our New Yr celebration because they allow pets. We went for lunch and almost every table was occupied, highly recommend making reservations. We were seated at the lower level with a picturesque view of the vineyard. We started off with Black Garlic Cesar and for the entree's, we choose the Wagyu Flat Iron Steak, Hokkaido Seared Scallops and the Blue Cheese Bacon Burger. Everyone was content with their choices, everything was grilled perfectly and the sides were delicious as well. Looking forward to try the rest of the menu.

Kyuwon L.

Yelp
I went on a weekday and was able to do the wine tasting without a reservation. The staff recommended some great wines, and I ended up trying six different glasses! The weather was perfect, and the outdoor tasting area had a beautiful atmosphere -- it was such a great place to enjoy wine.
google avatar

Angela R.

Yelp
Scrolling through photos I came across beautiful pictures we took while on a wine making tour with great friends back in September 2023! Reminiscing about the wonderful memories I realized I never left a review... and we had an amazing time , so better late than never! Rebecca was the tour guide and was a pleasure and informative! Amanda our wine server was a true professional who helped guide me in making wise wine selections as a newcomer! We had a wonderful day and I think it's time we returned!
google avatar

Krista M.

Yelp
Visited here as a part of the Temecula Wine Trolly Tour. Kiya was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, personable, and helped me find some awesome choices to sample. The property was beautiful! Would come back.
google avatar

Shelley Y.

Yelp
We dropped by Callaway last minute when the sun had already set but it looks to be a gorgeous and spacey venue. I'm sure sunset hour would be beautiful since the winery is located at the top of a hill. We ended up getting one glass of wine each for about $15 a glass. The pours are generous and wine is solid!
google avatar

Gayle C.

Yelp
We took a wine tour - this was the second winery of the tour! Knowledgeable personnel.
google avatar

Yelp
The view is magnificent. And the service is really good too. me and my wife went here for brunch .

Yelp
When you hear the name Callaway, Golf is typically the first thing that comes to mind. However, Ely Callaway's first business venture was wine, and he helped put Temecula on the map as a serious wine producing region. His first vineyards were planted in 1969 and production began in 1970. We stopped here before heading home, and I'm glad we did. Instead of a tasting I decided to have a glass of the NV Bella Rosé ($12). Emitting a lovely peach bouquet, it's an excellent sparkling wine for summer. We sat outside and enjoyed the spectacular view and live entertainment provided by Tim Apple @timapplemusic and some delicious food from Meritage Restaurant (Thank you Mario U & Maritza D). We ended our wonderful visit with a delightful Port - 2018 Winemaker's Reserve ($15), which came with some dark chocolate. Callaway is also very popular with the locals. One of the regulars was there with his pet bunny - a giant Flemish that was chilling by the bar. One of the wine stewards informed me that there is a lady that brings her pet goat with her when she comes in. I'll be sure to bring some carrots with me on my next visit. Tasting of 6 for $25 (your choice) Library Wine Tasting: 4 pre-selected 1 oz pours for $40

Yelp
I have been a member here for about 8 years and love taking my family. I posted several bachelorette and birthday parties here. Staff is very friendly and the wines are delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful and uncertain days they have live music The only issue is the staff never answers their phones nor do they return messages or phone calls.
google avatar

Eric V.

Yelp
Come on top of the hill where the only noises are from the breeze and happy souls. We have visited many wineries liking a few of their many varieties, but at Calloway we loved everything! The atmosphere is as warm as the patrons you share it with since we all came seeking the same thing. Life.
google avatar

Deb M.

Yelp
The tasting room is large. The staff that served our tasting was friendly and only offered details when asked. When I go wine tasting, usually the wine is described as it is poured, which is a nice touch. The wine didn't have a lot of body. It tasted flat and almost watery. The wine at other vineyards in the area are much better.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
absolutely enjoyed my visit to callaway vineyards. the food and wines were amazing. as soon as i walked in the restaurant, i could smell the aromas of the food, and let me just say the flavors did not disappoint. i ordered 1 glass of the house chardonnay and it was enough for 2 pours. i also opted for wine tasting, it was $32 usd for 6 1oz pours which i thought was a great price. i'm not really big on sweet wines, but the rosé of cabernet stole my heart. for lunch i opted to have the whole branzino and i wish i could take the chef home with me!!
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
We are here now. The folks are rude and cold. There is no one here. It's a rainy day. So so unfriendly. And the wine is average at best.
google avatar

Yelp
Woo woo another winery in Temecula checked off! We decided to visit Callaway as it is supposedly known for being the first of all the wineries in Temecula Valley! With this in mind we signed up for not only the tasting, but the tour as well. The tour + tasting were very easy to book on Tock and cost $40 a person (held at 12pm and 2pm). The drive up to the winery was beautiful and upon walking in we loved how open the space was. Ther restaurant is off to the right and there's an open air seating area with live music! Then in the building to the left there's the gift shop and tasting room. We checked in for our tour and the tour itself lasted a little under an hour. It was very informative and nice that it was a small intimate group. For tasting you are provided with a little paper that they tear off as you drink each glass. You get 6 choices total and you can mix and match whatever you want from their tasting menu! The wines and sommeliers were great and we did end up walking away with a bottle!

Alyssa F.

Yelp
Loved this place ! Highly recommend. Great food, we went there for lunch. We started with the charcuterie board , which was fantastic. I ordered the ceviche, so good and my fiancé ordered their cheeseburger, which he loved. The wines were also very good . Our waitress, Ashley was very knowledgeable, attentive, personable and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back!!

David W.

Yelp
Great Wine! Ian was awesome and provided phenomenal service. Would recommend this to anyone over many other wineries in the area. Also cool little side note this winery is related to Callaway golf.
google avatar

C. B.

Yelp
We didn't have the food but the wine and service, and ambiance were wonderful. We love how they have expanded their property. We can't wait to try our new bottle.

Connor C.

Yelp
Views, atmosphere, and service, not to mention the top tier wine. I joined their membership which is a no brainer.
google avatar

Erick M.

Yelp
I went here with my wife during the weekend. She had been to this winery several times, but this was my second time here. The food was good. We had the chicken / avocado sandwich, artichoke dip and octopus. The octopus was good but had very small portions. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. There wasn't very many people present, but it was nice. This is just my opinion........there are other wineries in the area that have better food, but you should try it yourself to see if you like it. I didn't try the wine, which why I can't speak about it. The overall experience was good.
google avatar

Jenna D.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Wish we had been here when it was still light out because I bet the view is beautiful. Good and service were great. Really loved the delicate squash. Skip the salad and try this instead! Scallops and mussels were good; broth and seafood texture was solid, but too much fennel. Wine pairing suggestion was spot on. Husband liked his Chilean sea bass; cauliflower puree with chorizo stole the show with that dish. Dessert menu was lack luster. Go somewhere else for sweets.

Silvia M.

Yelp
Amazing winery. My FAVORITE in Temecula. Amanda is the best, she is why I go to Callaway. I have learned so much about wines from her. The Wild Yeast selections are my favorite. I recommend trying them all. The Profonde and Malbec are great too. The Meritage Reetauramt has amazing food
google avatar

Lily K.

Yelp
There is plenty of parking and bathrooms. They have some amazing sparkling wines!! A red sparkling that Is incredible. I love dry wines and they had some great ones, but I surprisingly loved the sweeter ones here. Service was quick and nice. But not crazy personable. Usually with a tasting I get more of a conversation with about the wine. But it wasnt as inviting. BEAUTIFUL scenery! And I just had wine here so I'm not sure how the food is. I would rate it 3.5 mainly because other vineyards are so personable and lovely. So come here for the sparkling red and the view! Omg. Amazing sparkling!
google avatar

Yelp
While staying a couple of nights in LaJolla we decided to drive out to Temecula, as we hadn't been there in about 8 years. We didn't have a set list of which wineries to visit, so we came across this one first and stopped. The place is beautiful! Reminded us a lot of Napa Valley vineyards and wineries. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The wines were decent. Tasting wasn't too high priced, $25/pp for 6 one ounce pours. Bottle prices were definitely reasonable. It's definitely a nice place to buy a bottle, sit outside in their garden and sip!

Janice S.

Yelp
I probably would rate Callaway a 4.5. It's a beautiful winery and the wine was good. Service was fine - nothing spectacular and nothing to complain about. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I would come back with friends.

T S.

Yelp
Beautiful views & spacious outdoor patio seating. The wine selection has been good. Now that it summertime, Callaway is offering a Rosé frosé which is very tasty and refreshing on a hot day. The servers are friendly and helpful. I haven't tried the Meritage restaurant but the menu has some very good selections. I enjoyed this place so much that I joined!! Come for the wine and stay for the views.
