Genuinely appreciated the experience with the museum/site itself. Informative and did a great job of bridging those of us who weren't as informed on Coolidge and those of us who are history nerds. Loved our guide, David! Only heads up I'd give is skipping the cheese factory (which is such a bummer because the space and history are cool, but the potential interaction with one particular staff member within is...less than desirable.) Accessibility wise: hilly terrain, ramps where able, and I think only 1 major stair climb if you want to see the meeting/dance hall above the general store (We had a group member in a medical boot so one of us went up and brought down pictures lol)

It was a nice nice museum at the visitor center. The house tours were cool they had all the original stuff, and the tour guide seemed very knowledgeable. You should definitely check out the little store by the houses too and get some cool little knick knacks. And just down the road is his grave site.

If you're a history buff, there's a good deal for you here. Very well maintained with lots of the original furniture, the docents were knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I recommend it highly.

I am a HUGE fan of Calvin Coolidge, the best President ever! I was excited to visit this site and enjoyed what I saw there. However, it would be nice if there were some actual Coolidge enthusiasts working there! Nobody understood my reference to the Keep Cool with Coolidge song or gave the slightest nob to a Coolidge water bottle my daughter was carrying. Nobody talked about his accomplishments or anything. Only the history of the site. I am not rating this place anything below 5 stars because I don't want to hurt this site's ratings but if I worked there I would be much more enthusiastic about his accomplishments toward world peace, Native American rights, following the constitution and free markets. I understand that state employees tend to be more liberal especially in Vermont but why not show some enthusiasm and embellish on Cool Cal's presidency? I know it's his birthplace and childhood home but that doesn't have to mean overlooking so much about the man himself. KEEP COOL!

Well worth a visit, although not a mainstream tourist spot.

We really enjoyed our visit here - our guided, Sue, was amazing..! There is a lot to see here - to include the visitor center movie, too. The site general store has snacks if needed.

This is the best preserved president's home historic site I have visited. It is like going back in time a century. The setting is idealic, on a hill surrounded by mountains, and the docents are very knowledgeable and tell interesting stories and antidotes you may not learn elsewhere. My favorite part was the home President Coolidge was born in, which included so many original artifacts like the preserved parlor where his father swore him into office. The museum is well done and the staff is friendly and helpful. We drove 2 hours to see it while on vacation in Vermont, and it was worth it.
