I think this is my new favorite coffee spot near downtown and Indy in general! On a weekday at around 10am, it was very busy, and it was very competitive to get seating, especially with anyone else. Thankfully, my friend arrived before I did, and she was able to snag us seats. There's plenty of seating here, it's just a super popular cafe. There was a long line to order (about 6-7 people deep), however, the service seemed efficient, so it moved pretty quickly. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful - which is exactly what you want. I ordered the seasonal Christmas latte, Stocking Stuffer (chocolate orange) 12oz, and it was divine (perfect sweetness balanced with espresso imo). The line ebbed and flowed in length while my friend and I sat. There are two restrooms inside, with great murals btw. It's definitely a kid-friendly place. And there are lots of games there to enjoy while there. There's also free WiFi. I visited when I wasn't in a rush and had food company, and I'd definitely recommend CF for that - and it seems good for working on laptop, etc. The coffee and beverage menu was plentiful. I didn't order food, so I cannot speak to that, but there's a nice selection of baked goods, from my brief glimpse. I loved it here and am excited to visit again soon with my hubby (and possibly our 2 yo).

Tastiest coffee and delicious breakfast burritos! Getting there early before the line formed was a smart strategy. The atmosphere was friendly, we could hear each other talk, enjoyed the art, clean bathrooms, drinking from a real cup, the community vibe. Toys available to keep the kids occupied.I brought home a bag of the Regalo beans and was amazed at the flavor. In a city with so many places to imbibe brewed beans, this spot is among the best.

Latte is really delicious. the place is huge and busy. the staff is so friendly. Everything in this place is fabulous. I'm Egyptian who lives in Florida i wish we have a coffee place like Calvin Fletcher.

Girl friend is always looking for good coffee in the town and we have explored quiet a few now and obviously CFCC's coffee was delicious. We ordered a lavender latte and I got a Cafe Mocha. The staff is super friendly. Check it out guys.

This is a large, busy coffe shop with lots of seating. Dirty Chai Latte with almond milk is delicious! One of the best I've ever had! The line was long, but very much worth the wait!

What a great spot. The staff were great and the coffee..... Yum. They roast their own beans which I love! Try the Masala Latte. My son got his gross cold brew black coffee 🤢, he said it was fabulous, but I cannot drink cold brew!

One of the best coffee places in the area! The coffee, atmosphere and service is wonderful! Coffee: Love their season specials as well as their regular menu. If you’re here definitely go for the seasonal specials. They are made with great thought and almost always tasty! Atmosphere: Love the vibe! During the week you’d get motivated to work as almost everyone is there working and during the weekend it’s a fun place to be. Merch: I’ve bought a tee from here and the quality is really nice!

Consistent coffee, great staff, and a strong sense of community (love their board). My go-to is the mocha and breakfast burrito, and it’s one of the best breakfast spots in Fountain Square. Bonus: it’s kid-friendly too.

When the baristas know how many days you have left of grad school because you come here so often. I am in love with Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Almond Crossiants from Circle City Sweets, and think that this may be the best view to people watch in Fountain Square. Friendly environment, laid-back vibe perfect for productivity.

I'm trying ALL the coffee in Indianapolis and suburbs and I hear so many good things about Calvin Fletcher's. They have an amazing mission and the staff was super. I also dig the vibes and of course love the location since Fountain Square is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Indy. The coffee was just ok. I had the summer menu Sunny latte and I liked it, but didn't love it. I'm just now starting to like coffee and found it s little bitter for me but that doesn't mean I won't go back to try something different. Four stars for mission, staff and location and three stars for the coffee.

This is just the best of the best. I visit at least once a month. We have just a wealth of choices in terms of coffee shops. I remember when we just had The Abbey! Calvin's has such a neighborhood vibe. When they say all are welcome it means ALL ARE WELCOME. The coffee menu is interesting. For me I usually settle on Calvin Pepper. It's a peppery latte (yes peppery). The coffee is a delicious blend. There is a slight sweetness but really a strong peppery flavor. My friend always get Chai Latte. She just discovered it iced and is hooked. The barista adds extra cinnamon. The baristas are attentive.

The drinks are always good! I just had their season raven latte and it was the perfect fall drink. Service was polite and quick. Perfect service with the perfect setting for working for the afternoon. It's not loud or distracting, but definitely inviting.

This place was a cute neighborhood, social justice forward cafe. The staff were friendly and the cafe has plenty of art and seating to meat with friends, study or work on projects. I tried their masala latte, the taste was amazing it was like a dirty chai, as it had all the seasonings just made with espresso. The prices on their menu were on the more expensive side for lattes, ultimately the price would be my deterrent from going back, but the latte I ordered was a fundraising latte and they have menu info on which drinks have profits that go to certain foundations so that is helpful versus funds going to a large corporation.

Stopped by in the morning around 7am ish. It wasn't too busy so we found parallel parking across the street. I got a cappuccino while my sister got the Forward Latte (ginger, sassafras orange blossom water). Yum! It's hard to find good espresso these days. I really liked the cappuccino. Drinks didn't take long. Only a few customers inside. Tons of seating here. Even a cat sleeping quietly on one of the chairs. I'd love to come back!

It's been too long since my last visit here! I love coming in and trying their seasonal lattes or their cortado which is always served on the cutest platter. Today I tried out the Sunny Latte after noticing that part of the proceeds of the purchase go towards supporting Exodus Refugee! The latte had orange and coriander syrup, espresso, & milk. I think next time I'll try it hot which is what I normally do but it was super warm yesterday so I tried the iced version instead. I get to see the wonderful Emily behind the register which brought a smile to my face! Thank you CFCC for doing what you do! So glad you exist!

Tried their iced dirty chai with oat milk yesterday. To die for!!! I could taste a perfect balance between the chai spices and espresso. There was not one that was more overpowering than the other. Their espresso is also really good and balanced, and the sprinkle of cinnamon on top was the perfect choice! Also was worried about coming back here bc parking in fountain square can sometimes be tricky, but I was able to find FREE street parking close by with no hassle.

Good coffee, good service, community focused. Cashier was friendly, took the time to chat us up. Our coffees were good, presented nicely. Enjoyed the outside seating area.

This spot made me feel like I was back in Brooklyn. Welcoming people, nurturing lattes, and the best kind of artsy vibe. I began to learn about all the wonderful things they've done to contribute to their community, and I can't wait to keep coming back with friends and learning new things I love about this gem!

I've been to Calvin Fletcher Coffee Company before, and I remembered my hot chai tea latte was amazing! Since today is going to reach 85 degrees, I knew it was time for an iced drink. It was the perfect opportunity to try an iced chai tea latte. The amount of caffeine in coffee doesn't sit well with me, so chai is the perfect intermediate of a boost of energy without heart palpitations. Something that I appreciate about CFCC is that they ask if you want your chai to be sweet or spicy. I am a sweet chai girl through and through. Other coffee shops don't tell you beforehand that their chai is not sweet, so you wouldn't believe how many bad experiences I've had when it comes to chai. However, CFCC's chai is PERFECT! They use a powder chai that they blend with hot water to make sure that it fully dissolves before pouring it into the milk and ice. This prevents it from being clumpy and chalky which I really appreciate. They sprinkle the top of the drink with a touch of cinnamon which I personally love as well. There's only one other coffee shop in Indy that has chai this good, and it's nice to know that there's a reliable one so close to where I work. The inside of CFCC is so trendy and has a great vibe. I am attaching photos of the inside for you to see yourself. It didn't look super busy inside in the pictures but trust me when I say it's because almost everyone was sitting outside. Their outdoor patio is gorgeous (and dog friendly)! If I didn't have to go back to work, I would've spent some time outside just enjoying the beautiful day while sipping my drink. I will have to come back when I am on summer break! The baristas were incredibly friendly. There was a long line when I got there, but they were handling it well. If they were stressed, it would've been hard to tell because they were keeping their cool and composure so well! Something else I wanted to mention was that they had a breakfast burrito in their fridge display called a "Mediterranean Burrito". I am attaching a picture, but it looks so good, and I can't wait to try it next time.

My first visit to this roaster. I ordered their light roast Honduras, as well as a decaf Americano and a croissant. Do you like roast? Honduras was very smooth with a full taste. Excellent coffee especially since it was sitting in an AirPod. The decaf Americano is good. I think it could use another shot. The body is light. It doesn't taste water down but it's right on the brink of that. The pastry was nice from an outside supplier it seems. The café itself is very cute with good music. the energy level of the staff is quite low this morning. It was a lot like sitting in a library. They allow some local homeless to come in and warm up, it seems, which is nice in this cold spring morning.

Friendly service, lots of seating, and a popular neighborhood hangout. The latte was tasty, too!

Had the pleasure of trying out Calvin Fletcher's yesterday morning while visiting Indianapolis and it was great! The vibe was comfy, the staff was extremely welcoming and kind, and the drinks were very good. I ordered an iced Chickadee and really enjoyed it! I highly recommend checking out Calvin Feltcher's whether you are a visitor to Indy or a local.

CF is one of the OG's. been coming here since they opened and love their mission, space, community support. Had not visited in a while. Took one star off as I was shocked they have no way to heat pastries, breakfast burritos etc. except Microwave. PLEASE invest in a Toaster Oven.. seriously!

This coffee shop is in such a cute area of downtown. Right next to some great businesses. I love going here for their Chai Latte! I've gotten both their spicy and sweet chai lattes and they are both great. The people are very welcoming and helpful. There is both inside seating and outdoor seating. I am not sure if they have a food menu since I haven't came here to eat but it didn't seem like they did. There are great restaurants around here though (Amelia's is right next door)! Street parking in this area! Usually can find a good spot though.

Really enjoyed the seasonal latte today. Bust for a Friday afternoon, sometimes a little loud but still a great place to meet a friend for coffee and chat. I can't remember the drink name but it was latte with chocolate and orange butters and it was the perfect blend without being too sweet.

Calvin fletcher's is a top of the line coffee roaster in Indy. Beautiful patio space in the spring right on the cultural trail. Rotating roasts of third wave coffee will make any black coffee lover happy- don't worry though if you like sweeter things they have plenty. I'd recommend the FORWARD LATTE with Cascara, sarsaparilla, orange blossom water & piloncillo + sumac.

I live within walking distance, so I've been to Calvin Fletcher's numerous times and have never been disappointed! This cafe has a cute, quaint environment and the staff is always incredibly friendly! There are always plenty of delicious unique drink options to try. I absolutely love that they roast their own beans! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!!

This is THE local non-profit coffee shop! Great drinks and great service. Baked goods and veggie burritos. Chill vibes. Have a drink with a friend or schedule a work meeting here. Plenty of seats.

Incredible coffee shop. I got an iced chai latte and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is great! There are lots of study spaces available as well.

My coffee order was an iced decaf oat milk lavender latte (I know a mouthful haha) and it was amazing! I like my coffee strong and high quality, that's how it tasted to me. With it came my croissant that was decent and flaky. I usually take my coffees to go but the environment seemed inviting enough to the point I had to stay. To give this place more good points, the workers were friendly and quick too!

Best. Iced Chai. Ever. I am from Southern California, and as I am writing this, I am literally missing their Ice Chai with oatmilk. I have tried a lot of child latte is all throughout Los Angeles and this has to be the best one I have ever had. I had this twice while I was visiting. I literally wish I was drinking one right now. Also I don't like coffee but tried some of my friends' coffee drinks and they were pretty good as well!

I am a huge fan of Calvin Fletcher's seasonal lattes. They always have more than one seasonal drink to choose from and rotate it frequently! Still a great place to work or study from too -lots of tables & chairs.

THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY KILLER! I love coming here and I love their lemon bars and they're always so nice and fun to chat with!

First time here. We stopped by during our trip to Indy after seeing the good reviews. The coffee shop didn't disappoint us. I got a Song Bird which is one of their season specials and includes lemon, lavender and sweet condensed milk shaken with cold brew. It's just a delightful high-quality drink - smooth, flavors blended so well but you can still get that nice hint of lemon lavender tastes. Cold brew kicks in later - deep flavors in the mouth and sweet aftertaste. Highly recommend this coffee shop. Street parking nearby is easy.

Since I am a 100% remote worker I decided over the next few Fridays I'm going to explore the city and go to different coffee shops to work. First up, Calvin's Fletcher. I'll break these coffee shop reviews down into sections. Parking: I was lucky and found a spot right out front but if I hadn't, you may have to drive around a few times to find somewhere to park. It is possible for sure you just may have to be creative and walk a little but but terrible. Greeting: When I walked in I was immediately greeted by someone saying welcome in as I was approaching the counter. They said it not because they had to but it seemed extremely sincere. One thing of note, you do need to wear a mask while up and about which I really appreciate. I told the Barista that it was my first time and they were very excited I stopped in. I asked what their most popular drink is and she told me (I forgot the name) and I ordered that. As I was waiting Jeff welcomed me in and asked what made me stop in. I told him I looked at reviews on Yelp and saw patrons had really good things to say, also from the photos it looked like a comfortable place to work. He told me his name and asked me mine. I really liked that. Shows you aren't just another number for them. Once I got my drink again I was thanked for coming in. Seating: Plenty of seating! Outlets all along the wall so if you need to plug in no issues there. The chairs are comfy and I like that they aren't cold chairs. It really is a comfortable place to work. I was there for about 3 hours and even took a call while I was there with no issues. There is music playing but it's soft which I appreciate. Coffee: I ordered the latte and it was pretty good. It was $6 for a "tall" but I had it made with oat milk. Overall a really good experience. I will definitely be back, I felt welcomed, comfortable, the pricing isn't out of line and the location is nice.

It was okay. The coffee was okay. They do support local artists, which is really cool. They have alot of menu options and food items available.

Love this family-owned coffee shop just northwest of Fountain Square. The shop is frequently filled with neighborhood residents and people working on laptops. Great pastries from Amelia's Bakery--another locally owned business. Great coffee! Did I mention: IT'S LOCALLY OWNED!

Not easy to find for an out of towner like me, but we managed. Rainy day so we were happy to find street parking within sight. Nice, open space with plenty of room, lots of tables and comfortable chairs. Simple drink menu, it's clear this is a place for coffee lovers, no Carmel macchiatos here.... I had a double espresso, of course it's served with a small spoon(for that important stir to awaken the flavors) and a glass of sparkling water. My partner had an americano, and while served very hot, was not the crazy "nuclear meltdown " hot you sometimes get. It was sip-able right away.

Lovely coffee shop in Fountain Square. I visited the shop last week to meet with a friend. I ordered a iced coffee to drink since it was a hot day. They have plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. It's well lit and decorative. They have some cozy seating along with table seating. The staff were welcoming and polite. It is a nice place to relax, work or meet up with friends.

This place is such a gem in the fletcher place neighborhood and makes me feel right at home. Service is always warm and welcoming. My only wish is that they were open a bit later, but I absolutely love coming here to do work and sip on their coffee. They make Indy feel small and cozy. I haven't found my favorite coffee yet, so I'll definitely be back to try more. I've also heard their breakfast burritos are delicious so hopefully one day I'll make it there early enough to try them before they sell out. The location is super convenient as well within walking distance of multiple local spots. It's a win, win!

Unreal how I didn't know about this place sooner. Opens at 7am. Great staff. Significantly better than that place in Fountain Square on the corner. Get the Calvin Pepper or cortado. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for the first time today to pick up a donation for a charity auction I'm hosting. First off, props to this business for being so KIND. I noticed half of their tips are going to charity. Right off the bat I noticed so many workers at the shop knew the customers by name and greeted everyone so warmly. I want to be a regular already! I loved their gender neutral bathrooms and Kindness Project they have for items someone might need (feminine products, hair ties, etc) and all of the art murals covering every wall. They also have outdoor seating as well! So cute. I studied here for a few hours and there is constant crowd coming in and out. Great place to chat with friends or study. Chai tea latte was incredible too. Thank you CFCC and Jeff!

I stopped in here the other morning for coffee and a muffin. I was getting my hair done at Indie Mane and this is right down the street. It was also a pretty little walk down from the Beauty Salon to Calvin Fletcher's. As I arrived I noticed they had seating outside and they were protecting the workers with a piece of glass or plexiglass and had items available for purchase. They prefer you call in your order but they will take your order right there at the window. I ordered the coffee cake muffin and the Masala latte. The lady who waited on me was very friendly and she handed me my coffee cake muffin and then went off to make my masala latte. She brought back to my latte and I took a seat at one of the small tables out front. I really enjoyed the latte and the coffee cake. The Masala latte has cardamom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper. The latte was very good, I usually choose a chai tea when I go to somewhere like this but this combination of spices in my latte really hit the spot! The coffee cake was nice and moist without being too much and was very tasty I will definitely get it again and the birds I shared it with thought so as well :) stop by Calvin Fletcher's you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE this coffee spot. So homey and staff treats you like family. Simple menu offering drinks, pastries and even some breakfast burritos. Indoor and outdoor seating with Wi-Fi, perfect for getting some work done. I love the artwork here too!

Had the best masala coffee here. Was a busy weekend with Taylor Swift in town, but the staff were friendly and attentive, and the vibe was vibing!

I visited this awesome coffee shop for the first time last week and was absolutely delighted. Customer service was right on point and so welcoming. I had a lot of questions that they happily answered. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and A coffee cake muffin. Both were delicious but I have to say that a coffee cake muffin is a must try! I was also able to buy a bag of coffee which I made this morning and I am extremely happy about it. I got the Uganda single origin. Overall great place to visit! I will definitely check it out again when I'm back in Indiana!

I secretly call Calvin Fletcher's "Coffee Church". Why? There are few coffee shops that achieve the level of community and warmth that Calvin Fletcher's does. Not only do their tip proceeds go to different charities each month but they are safe space for those in need along with those conducting meetings. There's a simple humility about it all and your guaranteed to leave feeling better than when you entered (both in soul and caffeine jolt).  Along with their amazing mission, they boast an innovative and constantly evolving seasonal menu of drinks. I typically bounce between the seasonal options and two of their staples: The Blossom (espresso, soda water and bee pollen) and the Calvin Pepper (espresso, milk, honey and cayenne pepper).  On my latest visit, there was a bucket of free flowers in the entry way for customers to take home. Calvin Fletcher's didn't place the bucket out there but it speaks to the kind of crowd of humans they attract. All the good vibes are found here.

The best local coffee in Indy! The vibe is always welcoming and chill. The drinks are delightful and the rotating art is refreshing. Great for meetings, dates, or working remotely.

I had a work meeting here today and now I'm spoiled. All work meetings should have coffee and pastries from now on. It seemed pretty busy for a Monday afternoon at 4pm. We had a group of 8 and there were a few other groups and lots of people reading or working by themselves. The chai latte was extra foamy. I've never had one that foamy before but it seemed more dessert-like and now I only want one that way. It was hard to decide between pastries but I finally settled on a cherry oatmeal cookie that was huge. And delicious. I'm hoping we have more work meetings here- I'm really looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

One more gem near Indianapolis downtown! Perfect place to work, has a casual vibe and such delicious coffee! The seasonal stocking stuffer Latte - chocolate and orange had fresh orange zest and thick, rich chocolate combining to be a divine citrusy choco delight. Was a flavor bomb with each sip. The masala latte wasn't too strong on the palate although it had all the spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger and nutmeg. The coffee house was out of any pastries at 12pm today which was a bummer since we were famished but the coffee was so good I was a happy caffeine gal! I haven't tried the drip coffee although there were many customers who came in just for the coffee beans - I will try that the next time. This is one of the unique coffee gems in Indiana! My vote!

Best neighborhood coffee shop. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They know many people by name. They provide a great gathering spot for neighbors and those who work in the area. Plus the delicious coffee is roasted in house offering a variety of types and intensities. In addition to providing the neighborhood such a great place, they are also focused on giving back to the community and those in need. Thanks to the family who has put their heart and soul into this place.

Calvin Fletcher's is a great place for coffee in Indianapolis! It's located southeast of downtown. There was a line to order, and if you know me, when there is a line, then I know I came to the right spot. I can tell Calvin Fletcher's make their coffee with love and dedication. I ordered a drip (Ethiopia) and the coffee had great flavors. And what's cool about this coffee shop is that they give back to the community by supporting local non-profits!
