Volunteer-run and community funded, this Saturday market supports local grief services while showcasing area farms, fishers, and artisans. Praised by Visit Camarillo and local food writers, it’s an easy inland stop with strong ties to growers.

We had a great time exploring the Camarillo Farmers Market! It offers a little bit of everything — fresh vegetables, pastries, live plants, tasty food vendors, and even live music. It was such a fun way to experience the charm of a small town and its friendly community. Parking was easy with plenty of spots along the street. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing morning stroll — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

7/12/2025 Clean restroom access. As a traveler that stopped by the Farmer's Market on my way to Los Angeles, restroom access for public is always a 5 star from me. Also, the Farmer's Market sells neat products.

Google
Perfectly-sized market for Camarillo. There's even a Filipino pastries vendor (ube cookies, anyone?). Yum!

Google
This farmers market has fresh veggies! That's one thing that bugs me is when there are lots of crafts, but no food. My favorite booths were the bread one (sourdough), dog treats one, and several fresh produce booths. Easy parking off Ventura Rd., a good balance of crafts and farm products at this one.

The Farmers Market has events every month in the Old Town Camarillo is beautiful and have nice places for a coffee, beer or wine, plus it is a calm road with lots of restaurants.

I moved to Camarillo from Hollywood. They had a huge/famous farmers not. But it was always the same vendors. This one is nice because some vendors are there every week, and the crafters switch around. Great deal on Meyer lemons and birds of paradise!!!

Best farmers market in Ventura County! Amazing local vendors and fun events for the whole family.

Yelp
I am a certified sucker for a farmers market, and this one did not disappoint. I was out traveling with family for a quick overnight trip to the beach. The hotel we stayed in was 5-8 minutes from this gem . I made it a point to show up early as to not have to fight crowds or parking. Parking was great and the perfect number of other people there. I walked, shopped and talked. I saw some awesome things and some things I had seen before. There was live music, old guy killing it on the guitar with a donation jar. The majority of the shops were very chill, very friendly, very happy to see a new face. And they could all tell I was from out of town, all the picture taking may have given it away. I tried the le soup's chocolate and almond croissant. It was great, the owner told me it was twice baked so it was be very flaky..messy.(this man knew what he was talking about, as it was good as it was messy) The beautiful flowers always get me going because we live in California and have such an awesome variety. I live in central CA and everything I would have purchased here would have died on the way home or when I got there. (105 temperatures are a regular thing here) The 2 places that had a line 5+ people long were the coffee shop and the fresh fish place. It's always interesting to see what people are into in different people in places are into. I will probably come back when I'm in the area again and I look forward to seeing even more great things!

Yelp
This is a wonderful Farmers Market! It's a bit smaller than the one in Channel Islands, but the selection of items is great - from the fresh produce to really friendly vendors! Irma Suarez from Azteca Farm said they only took cash, which I didn't have, and let me take home the broccolli and califlower anyway, said I could pay them next week! In this day and age, WHO does that anymore?!! WONDERFUL, friendly people - a real gem to visit in downtown Camarillo - and it's only 10 minutes from where I live!

Yelp
There are so many wonderful Farmer's Markets in Ventura County. This is the 3rd one I have visited and it didn't disappoint. The vendors are incredibly kind to let you try samples of the goods. We tried Salsa, Kefir and pastries. It was nice to see a new coffee vendor Bonito Coffee that I have not heard of before and it was a tasty coffee. Lots of produce vendors there and a few unique vendors like dog chews and treats, crochet items and wooden boxes with secret drawers. One of the farmer markets you need to try on a Saturday when visiting Camarillo.

Yelp
Run don't walk they have the sweetest stone fruit. I've been buying nectarines and peaches here. They have all been really sweet. This week I bought grapes too. Get your produce directly from the farmers!!!

Yelp
Update: Went back here last Saturday and i visited the tamale guy. I ordered a dozen of my favorites : 6 chicken and 6 chile relleno with cheese. I was shocked when he asked me if I want red or green salsa. Yes! I was so happy! He also told me he's from Cerritos and I'm like what? Anyway, although frozen, the tamales from this guy are really tasty. It doesn't have too much masa which I like. Also, the farmer's market is not that big but it offered a lot of variety: fruits, vegetables, Asian vegetables, flowers, seafood, Indonesian desserts and more.

Yelp
First time coming to the farmers market. Some Great produce and baked goods. I purchased some bomb salsa from LaVita and some sweet strawberries from a local and family owned farm. I'll definitely be coming back to get all my needs.

Yelp
First time attending the long-standing farmers market in Camarillo. Thanks to a Yelp Elite event nearby, we got up and out of the house in time to check out the booths with generous amounts of fresh produce. A smattering of other vendors represented with pottery, baked goods, flowers, tamales, hummus, and more complements to the main items. A singer performed live to add to the ambiance of the market. Nice touch. The weather was mild and just right for a mid-winter Southern California day. With lots of gleaming strawberries and colorful pre-spring flowers, the promise of the coming season was in the air. We ended up getting much more than planned, but happy to find gigantic fennel bulbs/stalks, blood oranges and key limes for a reasonable price, fresh herbs, olive tapanade and other treats. Good eats ahead! Am about to start on a new soup recipe with the fennel as the star. We will definitely return to this farmers market for the variety of friendly local vendors. The event also brings more energy to Old Town Camarillo, which was great to experience. We ended up hanging around and exploring other businesses. That's a win!

Yelp
I have always loved the Camarillo Farmers Market. It's small but mighty! Plenty of parking but I definitely try to come before 10am as it can get crowded and I enjoy being able to walk leisurely without a bunch of people around. Parking is free and entrance to the market is also free. I'm always impressed with the variety of vendors for such a small market. They have the obvious produce, nuts, and jams but also soaps, jewelry, meats, seafood, and flowers you name it. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. Pro tip: bring cash and a insulated bag. It's always easier carrying cash at the markets but I will say another bonus is the fact that about 80% of the vendors have card reading machines. Extra bonus here is that they usually have live music as someone sets up to preform so you can enjoy some lovely music while walking and shopping. If your in old town Camarillo on a Saturday morning I'd highly recommend checking out this farmers market to support local! The produce and people are awesome, a true gem in old town.

Yelp
Very cute little market with delicious fruits, veggies and crafts. My service animal was with me, like she always is. Unfortunately, one of the people who runs it, or something, told me that animals aren't allowed in it, and erroneously stated that she has to have "service animal papers" or have a vest and I would have to leave. Of course the person would not listen when I tried explaining ADA laws and kept interrupting while I was speaking. According to ADA laws... neither are required. If you are going to hassle people about their service animals, know the laws and LISTEN, without interrupting. Google is your friend

Yelp
You can really get things done all before noon on a Saturday morning at this little amazing farmers market. The beets and rainbow carrots were certainly in abundance, so was broccoli, califlower, kale, and tomatoes! The honey, tamales, nuts, beef, jerky and Mexican wedding cookies are there for the taking as well. A great place to also register to vote, sign petitions to recall a worthless governor (yes please) or purchase a red hat or button! Yes yes yes!

Yelp
I stumbled into the Farmer's Market while walking around in downtown Camarillo. It's hard to miss, pretty big spread, it has many booths and vendors. You'll find many fresh produce from local farmers, a great selection of fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jellies, jewelry, a bit of everything. Yes, I've seen better, but the Farmers Market in Camarillo is decent. It lacked a bit of energy (maybe it was half an hour to closing time when I was strolling around), the vendors weren't very generous with their samples or very talkative, but hey, maybe they were tired. There's street parking right in front (2 hours for free), there are restrooms near by. Prices vary, some merchandise is reasonable price, some a bit high, as you'd expect sometimes at a Farmer's market. They had a musical act going on. Opened every Saturday from 8 am - 12 pm. Great option for the area, especially since there are so many farms around, it's nice to buy fresh produce grown locally. Camarillo's market offers a wide variety, so check it out, it has an easy going vibe.

Yelp
I absolutely love the ceramics by this lady named Sue garrigan. She is so nice, has a great smile and so friendly and a funny little giggle, and crazy little stories about her philosophy on life. I can't believe she made these ceramics there so detailed, colorful, and truly a piece of art. She is gifted. I have a few pieces and they bring such joy to my life. I love them. Stop by a say "Hi" she likes to talk and you don't have buy anything if you don't rto. Smiles.

Yelp
Farm-fresh and feel-good food for a great cause! This farmers market is sponsored by the Camarillo Hospice. A portion of the proceeds go to support volunteer hospice care. WHEN = every Saturday, 8am to noon, rain or shine WHERE = in the parking lot of the Studio Channel Islands Art Center This is a small farmers market that is great to pass through while traversing from one end of Old Town to the other. I come here to peruse fruits and vegetables, pick up treats for my dog, and on occasion, pick up a treat for myself. Here are a couple of my favorite vendors: THE LUCKY LAB = always my first destination because of their "PUPcakes" -- bone-shaped baked dog treats that come in flavors like pumpkin and peanut butter. They usually include some free samples, too, of their other treats like chicken strips. CAKE BAKE EAT = stopped in my tracks when I saw a sign for BACON CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. These were huge cookies that were super generous with chocolate chips and candied bacon. I'm still thinking if I should include this in my food journal later because I don't wanna have to explain it to my diet coach. There are plenty of other offerings here, like meats, candles, nut milks, pastries, flowers, etc. Come by and check it out! ******** For the perfect Saturday morning stroll in Old Town Camarillo: Stop #1 = Breakfast @ Old Town Cafe Stop #2 = Browse for treats @ the Farmers Market Stop #3 = Coffee @ Kay's

Yelp
We go to the farm market every Saturday morning even during the Pandemic. You have to wear a mask and they have people pumping hand sanitizer as you enter and exit (if you want.) We have purchased lettuce that is better than anything we've ever purchased! We buy all of our vegetables here. We buy eggs and berries from the man in the first booth, he's hilarious. We love the honey lady too. You can't go wrong with any purchases!

Yelp
Small but has something for everyone. Arts and crafts, cookies and baked goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, snack foods, flowers and ready-to-eat food. The bands vary widely and can really change the mood. I love it when the teenage band is there playing Coldplay covers but then the guy who sings Elvis songs is pretty popular too. Starts early, 8am I think and goes until noon. It does get busy but not so much that you can't get around. I get everything I need and stop to chat and am still done in less than a half hour. Cash only. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhoods if you don't feel like waiting in line on Ventura Boulevard. Restrooms are in the building behind the market though you'd never know it. I have a few favorite vendors/products but I've never bought anything here that wasn't good or fresh. It's just a matter of preference and price. Across from the band is a gal that sells asparagus and artichokes. They are the best, I get them every week. Same with the Japanese ladies selling greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes next to that. These are the crispiest cucumbers I've ever had! The French baker sells the best ciabatta and sourdough breads plus croissants and fruit tarts. They are to die for, flaky and light. The other bakers are good too but generally use oil instead of butter. The macaroons near the back entrance are superb. The tamale guy and his helper are really sweet and the tamales are amazing. Worth buying 3 or 6 for the price break and putting them in the freezer. Easy to heat and eat. A falafel vendor just joined the ready-to-eat section, it's the real deal. Delicious. Across from those guys are some top-notch avocados. I didn't understand why the produce is at the supermarket is so inferior until I started shopping at Farmer's Markets. These avocados have been on the tree about two MONTHS longer than than the crap the grocery stores sell. They're so delicious and don't rot, they ripen. On the street side, McGrath has organic greens for a good price, I've been throwing chard into my salad mixes. Really good and nutritious. Some items at McGrath are expensive -- it's certified organic -- but we just got strawberries here and they were unbelievable. Definitely worth the extra two bucks. The apple/egg guy Harlan is great. Apples and eggs go together because the chickens eat the apples that fall on the ground and the worms that they attract. It's a win win. These eggs are really superior, so are the apples. Consistently crisp and sweet. They also make homemade fruit pies. Oh my god. At the end there's a no-pesticide veggie stand, really nice people. They have potatoes and onions and a lot of other things. Cheap prices but you have to be selective about what you're buying. In the summer, you will get the best corn here for a dollar an ear. Come early, they always sell out. There's something special year round.

Yelp
I have been going to the farmers market since it first began about 30 years ago. I buy the best fresh vegetables and fruit for my family every week. Everyone there is friendly and I've been going so long they feel like family. My daughter and I especially love the entertainment and Carmine is her favorite! Hope to see you at the market!

Yelp
Neighborhood market in Old Town Camarillo 8-12 , lots of fresh produce and flowers. Love the crafts area, too bad they don't have more (only 5 crafters are allowed on any given Saturday) It has potential to grow into a very popular shopping stop. I give it 4 stars for the friendly vendors! Look for my booth! Mini Suckers

Yelp
The Camarillo Farmer's Market is a small food centric local market on Saturday mornings. Unlike other nearby Farmer's Markets which seem more like flea markets than purveyors of local produce- the selection here is basic but solid. There are plenty of local fruit and vegetable sellers (if you extend local to Fresno), with a nice choice of what's in season. There is a very pricey baked goods vendor from Culver City with the best pastries to be otherwise found nowhere locally. Get there early as their selections sell out fast. Expensive but delicious. There is a local fish market with fresh catch from live California Spiny Lobsters (in season from October to March) to local halibut, ahi tuna and a good variety of delicious fresh fish. There are small crafts booths and local small farmers selling a few persimmons or blood oranges or whatever they are harvesting now to large commercial stands from Underwood Farms and their ilk featuring a broad selection of produce. The few farmers from Fresno and the Central Valley that display their fruits always have something sweet, ripe and not found in any local grocery store. All in all, the Farmer's Market has become a welcome Saturday morning ritual for us- large enough to have a great selection of anything you can want but small enough to be manageable and not redundant.

Yelp
This is a great farmers market! We bought fresh sashimi-grade fish from Santa Barbara Channel Seafood Company, grass-fed beef (ribs), tamales, freshly baked bread, and treats for our dog. They also have all the fresh fruit and veggies you could ever want, fresh flowers, olive oil, honey, baked goods, hummus and pita chips, and I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. I love it! Cheers!

Yelp
I went to a farmer's market "Chef's Tour" at the market. it was put on by Livingston VNA and Led by Chef Alfonso the executive chef from The Manhattan restaurant in Camarillo. It was amazing! Chef Alfonso cooked for us with products from the market and gave us a guided tour full of tips and tricks to cooking with fresh organic products. The flavor of the fresh produce was amazing and at the end of the tour, Rabo Bank gave us a bunch of super fun gifts for our kitchens. So fun! best 2 hours of my weekend.

Yelp
I wanted to say 3.5 stars but its a round up kinda place. Its a small one but a fine one. I like more ready to eat food stalls but that's just me. Lot of the same as Oxnard but with less food. Prices are ok, not great. The flowers are always great. My favorite strawberry place is on the far end of the first row. My favorite tomatoes change from various places. I can't comment on the arts/crafts or kettle corn. Some places have compostable bags which I appreciate. 4 stars, its more exciting than most places in Camarillo!

Yelp
I can't believe I've lived in Camarillo for over 20 years and I only learned of this farmer's market last year. Well it's not the biggest farmers market but hey it's Camarillo. Its a nice place to stroll through on a Saturday morning and even pick up some fresh vegetables from local vendors. I especially like the cookie people. The sugar cookies are SO soft and delicious. I haven't had much money to spend the couple times I've gone but I enjoy just walking around and sampling at a few places. The hummus tent offers some very yummy flavors to sample.

Yelp
THE place to go on a Saturday morning in Camarillo. I tell you, it gets pretty packed. Take cash. Buy strawberries. You can usually find girl scouts selling cookies or boy scouts selling popcorn there too. Most of the local growers are there along with some craft makers as well as a coffee cart and the tamale guys. Some of my favorites are the apple guy and the cheese guy. My kids like the cookie lady, but she wasn't there last time.

Yelp
I enjoy going to the Camarillo Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning with the kiddies. It is pleasant and there is always awesome fresh flowers and produce to browse through. I've bought some really yummy and seriously addictive pita chips and hummus there. A big thumbs up to the Stonehenge Bakery for their delicious scone and brownies.

Bill S.

Yelp
Beware Underwood Farms. I was there Saturday last looking for pickling cucumbers. I stopped at the Underwood Farms stand where they had some skinny little ones and found out they were $2 each. I asked again to make sure and the clerk said $2 each. So, I went down a little further and found an unnamed stand with good-looking pickling cucumbers for $2/pound and bought 7 for $2-3. I recommend the rest of the market. Check out the heirloom tomatoes.

Yelp
If you're in the area get market with lots of fresh fruit and veg I was staying at the motel just down the street, stocked the fridge with fresh fruit. Yes !

Yelp
It's a nice farmers market. I star because the food truck is meh. But you can get your basic fruit and veggies no problem and decent prices. Everyone friendly. Not too big but nice.

Yelp
I love going to the Camarillo Farmers Market for...the jewelry! Yes, my daughter and I don't always go for the veggies, not that they are not fresh and delicious, but we really like the jewelry that is sold there. U They are unique and fairly priced. We especially like Janet, who sells a lot of crystal necklaces and bracelets of her own design. She is not there every Saturday, I will usually see her once or twice a month. There is also a guy that sells cool silver pieces, but again, he is not there every Saturday. Take a chance and go and maybe you will be lucky to find them there.

Yelp
good for fruits, veggies and flowers and home baked goods. not as extravagant as other farmers market in santa monica or monrovia. dont plan on buying obscure african wind instruments or jewelry from elves when coming here.
