We were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. From the very beginning, the staff, especially Mr. Angel, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained. We would have appreciated more options for hanging coats and other clothing for four people. Also, the room felt a bit cold since the heating kept turning off, but that might just be a matter of getting used to it. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea options. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Angel even allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout, which was a great help. If we ever visit New York again, we will definitely book this hotel again. Z. Župková

The hotel’s ambiance created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere from the moment I entered. The lobby was beautifully designed, combining modern touches with a cozy feel, making it an inviting space to unwind or meet up with others.||One of the highlights of my stay was the morning coffee station. The variety of coffee, tea, and Hot chocalate was a great touch, offering something for everyone. It was the perfect start to my day, whether I was in a rush or taking my time to enjoy the selection.||The amenities at the hotel were top-notch. My room was clean and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also had excellent facilities, including a well-maintained fitness center and easy access to local attractions.||A special shoutout to Kevin, the overnight front desk agent, who provided outstanding service during my stay. His friendly demeanor and helpful attitude made a big difference, especially when I needed assistance late at night.

Google
The hotel has easy access to the subway and is in a nice area that is easy to get around. The rooms are decent size for NYC. The bathroom is pretty small and doesn’t have much counter space at all. The TV would randomly cut out for minutes at a time throughout our stay. It was that way throughout the hotel. Staff was friendly and responded to questions quickly.

I was in NYC for business with colleagues. We chose the Aloft for its location. The front desk staff (especially Aaliyah and Stephanie) were friendly and made us feel comfortable working at the lobby table (for hours). Water station and bar were conveniently close by. Space was not private but still we felt comfortable doing our work and talking. Rooms are small but we used the rooms only to sleep and get ready so they were adequate. Hotel is clean and has a good energy.

Google
Really happy to have picked this hotel. Location is awesome and close to the many attractions in Manhattan. It isn't a 5 star hotel but really comfortable rooms, with friendly staff all round. If there's one complaint it would be that the showers aren't powerful enough. I also feel that since the hotel provides complimentary tea and coffee in the morning, they should extend it to 24/7, especially when there's no breakfast available at the hotel.

Google
My daughter and I visited from Maine for 5 days and enjoyed our stay very much. What a fabulous city. The hotel was perfect for our needs and is located in the flower district. A special shoutout to Angel and Chelsea at the front desk, both friendly and helpful. Chelsea answered all of our touristy questions with patience and good humor. If I'm ever lucky enough to visit again, I will definitely stay in the same hotel.

Google
My second time staying here.. stayed 1 night back in 2017! Great hotel! Rooms are lovely and clean and very spacious! superb location.. very central to majority of the major tourist spots! Shoutout to Angel & Jennifer who were very helpful on checkout morning assisting us with our luggage and giving us a good breakfast spot on our last day

Google
This was a surprising find. The location was great. The room was small, but good value for the price. The location is very close to great restaurants (Jose Andreas), and walkable for shopping and the Subway. Its a minimalist hotel with no restaurant, but does offer a rooftop deck with snacks and drinks.

Jere S.

Yelp
First hotel I've ever bookmarked in my life. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very spacious with Netflix, strong A/C, good shower water pressure, etc, the hotel was in a safe location next to the subway station with an extremely fast elevator, and to top it all off -- all of it for an insanely reasonable price compared to other options we were looking at (and we looked at a TON). Definitely worth every penny.

Holly K.

Yelp
Overall I had a great stay here while visiting NYC! The location is great, walking distance to Time Square, plenty of coffee shops, and restaurants. I overall felt the room felt pretty quiet for being in the middle of NYC. The bed was super comfortable and the room was a great size for the city. The downside was the bathroom shower was pretty dirty with a lot of mold/mildew creeping around. The elevators were extremely slow in the morning when everyone was trying to leave, so just something to bake in a bit of extra time for. The front desk employees were very friendly. There was an issue with a credit card authorization that they were quickly able to look into and fix while I was checking out. The rooftop bar was small, but cute and I enjoyed have a glass of wine up there one evening. Bonus, you get to walk through so many flower/plant shops on this block as your headed to the hotel.

Gabi M.

Yelp
This Cambria hotel is in a great location in Chelsea... it's got flower shops on either side with gorgeous flowers in the street and plenty of coffee shops super close. I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights recently -- a Sunday to Wednesday -- and found it to be more than adequate. The staff is friendly and everything seems clean. The rooms are small and nothing special, and the beds / pillows are not the most comfortable, but you get what you pay for... prices seem reasonable for NYC. I did utilize the fitness center one morning, had some beverages from the mini store in the lobby, and a drink one night on the rooftop bar. You can take a nice walk to the highline from this hotel as well... it's a great location! WiFi worked well during my stay. If you're looking for a place to lay your head while in NYC without breaking the bank, this is a solid option!

Yelp
My wife and I recently stayed for the first time at 2 Choice Properties . The first was the Mayfair, an Ascend property..a small boutique European type Property in Hells Kitchen and for this trip we selected the Cambria Hotel located on 28th Street, in Chelsea on the flower market street. The Property is under renovation so 1 Elevator is out and has a new GM recently placed. Despite the renovation, we enjoyed our stay, staying in 2 queen beds on floors that only had several rooms. The location is great with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and of course shopping. The street is full of hotels. Kudos to new GM Alan for having great front desk staff including Alexandria, Angel, Sherwin, Justin and others. They were very helpful getting anyone's attention and taking care of any issue (PS although not requested please remember them for gratuities as they do go out of their way to help...same with Housekeeping). Rooms were spacious enough and showers had great pressure for water. There is a small snack store downstairs but as mentioned lots of options outside. There is a huge McDonald's which was fast. The street ca be busy so going uptown or downtown you can walk to each of the two corners for faster access to taxis and uber/Lyft. There is a small but all you need gym on the lower level and a nice rooftop where in the evenings drinks and food is served. There is parking with a dedicated garage on 29th street and the cost is $62. Easy access to and from the Hotel. WE had a super stay and will return. YOU ROCK GM ALAN GARRABRANT AND STAFF

Yelp
It was a pleasure staying here during our recent trip. The hotel's location cannot be matched as it is near everything you want to see and do in NY. It was comfortable, safe, and clean. The staff was very well trained and helpful and attentive. If and when I go back to NY I WILL stay here again.

Chris S.

Yelp
Nice hotel on block with several others. Nice view from rooftop bar. No restaurant. Rooms small but nice. Good service and fast elevators. I would stay here again.

Steven C.

Yelp
Another great overnight stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of NYC's flower district. Once again great front desk service check-in, free drinks and a late checkout accommodation. Wonderful, clean, quiet high floor room, Easy 1 block access to the number 1 train. Thx to Bryan G. for his courteous service. Was able to leave luggage to be picked up after checkout.

Erin N.

Yelp
Easily a five star experience. I'm overall a pretty low maintenance hotel guest and I would have to reach to come up with something negative about my stay here. The location is right in the heart of Chelsea on a beautiful street full of floral shops, and steps away from a subway station and any type of food you can imagine. My flight landed early, so I called ahead to see if I could get in the room early, and I wish I could remember the young man's name I talked to, because he was extremely friendly and remembered me when I came in and promised to have a room ready shortly. They stored my bags and I went to grab some food and my room was ready 20 minutes later, much earlier than standard check in time. The room was spacious compared to most Manhattan hotels of the same price range, the beds were very comfortable, as was the room temperature. The bathroom was very well maintained with adequate water temperature and pressure. My overall favorite things about my stay were the view from my room and the small rooftop bar. If I had to nitpick... a couple of things: Bar could not room charge only cash or card and I want to accumulated all the Choice points possible to stay here again! Downstairs bar was closed both during the day and night Room door was so heavy I thought my key card didn't work at first There are so many options of places to stay in this area, but I will most likely return here for my next visit.

Yelp
Big clean room. Super convenient central location. I like this smaller thin hotel. As usual too much noise in the hallway that you can hear in your room, but that seems to be the case everywhere I stay in New York. Noise is everywhere. It's somewhat loud outside at times, but they have some good thick window glass, really helped. Big new TV, comfy beds. Nice people working at the front. I got a good rate. I was happy. I'd stay here again anytime.

Nancy N.

Yelp
This was the perfect location! The staff was friendly and nice. We were able to drop off our bags early. Room was clean, perfect for an overnight stay. Thank you to Sherwin and Angel!

Anna M.

Yelp
We arrived during the renovation and our room was not ready at check-in. After a five and a half hour flight and two train rides, I was really looking forward to relaxing in my room. The gentleman at the front desk was so gracious and apologetic, and offered me a refreshment, which I appreciated since there was a heat wave. There was no place to sit as the lobby was being renovated so I waited outside in the heat. Room was ready 10 minutes later. Good-sized room, comfortable beds, great AC. Bathroom was a little outdated but fairly spacious. Location was excellent as it is near subway stops and good restaurants a few blocks away. The renovation was completed during our stay and it is a lovely space. There is no resort fee, and despite it being on a busy street we couldn't hear any street noise. Wonderful staff! Can't wait to return!

Siddy B.

Yelp
The staff is above and beyond amazing as well as a elegant rooftop experience right in the heart of Manhattan with plenty ofamazing sites in the area

Germaine B.

Yelp
Clean, comfortable, & helpful staff. Located in the Flower District, which is a nice block of greenery and a spot I didn't know existed despite living in NYC at one point... fun discovery! Also, this hotel is very well situated to NY Penn and other subway options, making this a convenient pick. Room is spacious for a NYC hotel. They also have a tiny rooftop bar, which isn't much, especially compared to the other bumpin' party rooftops nearby. But, it's quaint and a nice option to have. Good hotel if you can find a discounted price.

Jason B.

Yelp
Spent 6 days here as a graduation gift to my daughter he's due she had been wanting to hit up nyc for several years so hey I made it happen. We stayed in the 9th floor and had a view looking to the south. The dual Queen was perfect but holy smokes the bathroom was extremely small. So small in fact that to close the bathroom door u had to literally step into the shower so u could close the door. There's no breakfast options here so keep that in mind. My total stay was $1190 and I would do it again for sure.

Golden Pond Travelers J.

Yelp
Small and basic. Fair value and it's close to the Fashion District area of you need to be down there.

Rob K.

Yelp
My family and I stayed here in May 2023. We arrived around 11AM on a Friday and realized we were able to park in a garage about a block away on 29th Street. It was $62.00 per night for parking. I was not surprised our room wasn't ready but they were able to stow our bags. Front desk was also very friendly. We did return around 3 and were able to access our room on the 2nd floor. Room was a fair size by NYC standards but with four people it was a little tight. Room was clean, fridge in the room. Bed is still comfortable and bathroom is still a little small. Location is great, especially if you are MSG bound. There is a Walgreens two blocks away for any needs. My big knock is housekeeping. You need to stay three nights for full housekeeping which aggravates me. They did remove towels and some trash after night one. Overall everyone is friendly and the location is great. I can't comment on price because I used points for my visit. I would stay here again, especially if I have an event at Madison Square Garden.

Nicholas H.

Yelp
We stayed in their suite on their penultimate floor, room 1804 to be exact. The bed was functional, not too hard, not too soft, no bedbugs. The pillows are the type that disappear when your head touches them, so not a lot of support there. The low score comes from the rest of the room. The AC had a hard time cooling the room, and there is no overhead fan. If you sleep hot, like I do, you'll know that can make for restless repose. We had a patio, which was nice actually despite the lack of table, but the door to the patio had a lot of difficulty latching and would swing open. The flooring is warped. The tiny fridge was left open, and is in a cabinet, so it got scorching hot, thus unusable. Bottom line: I was able to sleep, but with difficulty. NYC has lots of hotels, at least two more just on this block. Try those out before you come here.

Rainey C.

Yelp
Stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great experience. The room itself was clean and spacious. Service/front desk was so friendly and kind. Location is great and close to many things. The lobby has a little area stocked with snacks, drinks, etc. for purchase, which is convenient. The rooftop has a bar and seating for guests. The only thing I wish I had was regular housekeeping, which I didn't get because my booking was an extended stay through Airbnb. If you call room service and need extra stuff like towels, toiletries, etc though, they will gladly provide. Highly recommend!!

Roy S.

Yelp
HUGE hassle checking in. Guy at the desk said we had two rooms reserved. It's only my husband and I. Why would we book two rooms? Threatened to charge one night penalty to cancel the room we didn't book! Will dispute it with Chase if need be. Got to the city early so we dropped our bags off at 11:00 and told to check back at 2:00 for our room. It's now 4:30 and we're still waiting.

Kelley K.

Yelp
First off, Hats off to the staff! This group is professional and friendly. Even when I was unhappy, they remained pros at all times. We paid good money to stay here. My bad for going to NYC during the US open and 9/11 memorial time. We paid more than we would normally have to pay. The location is pretty convenient. Places are so small. It's a tall thin hotel. 8 rooms wrapped around an elevator on each floor. The tiny hallway from Elevator to any room (5 steps) smells like a wet dog. The room did not look clean but everything, but the headboard was clean. My husband and I walked in & I was ready to walk right back out. He started wiping everything down with wipes. I highly suggest they clean all their headboards. They are vinyl and when I wiped ours. It was greasy yellow idk what, all over the wipe. When we woke up, the first thing we did was sit up and put our heads against it & I was so grateful I had thought to clean it! They were low on towels. There is nowhere to put your bathroom sundries. They do NOT have electric tea kettles (so odd!) The positives: The staff The bed comfort (not the best by any means, but it was not bad!) The TV & wifi worked well. You could get to diff places from this location easily. And truthfully, the room was pretty clean when we arrived. All our wipes we used upon arrival appeared to be clean except the ones used on the headboard. My husband would stay here again. Me, not sure about that.

Alexander B.

Yelp
Great value for money. The hotel was clean and conveniently located + the staff was friendly. I stayed at Moxy Chelsea last time and the rooms were tiny, this hotel has decent room sizes by NYC standards and at a fair price. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because my A/C was pretty noisy (might need some maintenance) and the mattress wasn't the comfiest but otherwise it's a solid hotel. Definitely recommend.

Lisa H.

Yelp
This is for our current stay! We Booked in advance on choice hotels and before I don't remember paying an extra cleaning fee! Now they act like they always did! Already my Stay is not fun plus I did non refundable! I don't have the extra money because this New York trip is so expensive as it is! I am not coming here again! Unless you have over $200 to drain for one night and no bathtub, try a different place too! I just remember it very different & this website doesn't say that if you pay with credit card you will still be billed! I prepaid with a visa so they could still have charged me extra if it was messy which it isn't because I keep my rooms clean & don't even smoke anyway!!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Excellent service, Alexandria checked us in, and she was the nicest person ever, she told us how there's a rooftop on the 19th floor and we can always bring our own food and/or drinks and just hang out. The stay was just an amazing experience, this was my first time ever being in NYC and the staff from this hotel made the experience 100x better, at the end when we checked out a very nice gentleman, I didn't asked his name but he's the worker that had chopsticks on his hair as an accessory (and he made it look so damn good I even want to put some on my bum ) he was the nicest guy ever, this hotel deserves all the stars because they are THAT good, they even offered to keep our luggage after we checked out, after an 1 hour we came back and nothing was missing, which made me love this place even more. I will definitely be booking this place again next time I go to NY.... P.S.- I left a few of my make up on their window Since I was always getting ready there because of the amazing view. If y'all find a brand new eyebrow pencil, eyeshadow palette, brushes and eyebrow clear pomade please let me know

Kendra H.

Yelp
Fabulous stay! This hotel is everything I could have hoped for. I stayed for one night in a King accessible room. This hotel isn't pretentious at all, it's actually a budget friendly 3 star hotel but feels like a 5 star hotel. Check in was a pleasure and as soon as I got up to my room I received a text from Alexandria asking if everything in my room was okay. This was new for me because I've never had a hotel staff text, usually they call the room. My room was gorgeous, very neat and super clean! I had a nice frontal view of the street and it was located right in the flower district. The bathroom was great because they provided bar soap which I liked. The bed was soooo comfy and so were the pillows. I had a really great quiet night's rest. At times I could hear other people talking but it wasn't anything major. Ordered out for dinner as well and they called to see if I wanted my delivery man to come up or I meet him. Elevators here were slightly slow but nothing too major where I felt annoyed. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. This place is professional and lovely!

Mike J.

Yelp
I would not recommend this stay for no one who's coming from out of state. $500 a night NO PARKING NO BREAKFAST. And the rooms are small

Rodrigo S.

Yelp
I love this hotel chain. They're really well priced and maintain their hotels really well. This one in particular was great. David and Alexandria took care of us and they were extremely friendly. The rooms are pretty small, but it's expected in New York. It was about half a block from the subway entrance that took us pretty much everywhere we needed to go. It was fantastic. I definitely recommend!

Johnny F.

Yelp
First off the people that review these rooms as small or cramped may have never stayed at a mid town hotel were one can reach both sides of the room without stretching. The rooms are larger than most, very clean and have nice amenities. The television in the room is far larger than most any hotel I have stayed in. We stayed here because of the location, only 3 blocks from Penn Station and 2 blocks from 11 Madison Park. We usually walk when in the city so this location was perfect, we are celebrating our 38th anniversary and the front desk was extremely nice and gave us a free drink for the occasion.

Raymond G.

Yelp
I was really pleased with my stay at the Cambria in Chelsea.  The hotel is modern, hip and perfect for business or pleasure.  I was there for business and it had all of the amenities needed such as fast and free wireless, computer portals to print (if needed), electric outlets next to the bed to charge ipad, phone and laptop, and most of all, large spacious rooms with huge beds.  In fact, these are some of the largest rooms I have stayed in while in NYC, so I was pleased.  The TVs also have premium channels. Overall, I was really pleased with Cambria as this was my first time staying here.  I know it is part of the Choice Brands and feel this brand is the most unique and high-end.  The staff was courteous, the location is central and the rooms are magnificent.

Gino B.

Yelp
Tv was broken A/c was broken Ice machine was broken Rooms were congested Was told there was a roof top resteraunt and that was a lie.

Stuart M.

Yelp
This hotel has a lot going for it. It is 0.2 miles to the #1 subway. It has a central location to attractions both up and downtown. It represents a good value for its level of quality. During our 5 night stay, it was always quiet at night. That includes no outside street noise. The beds are more comfortable than many more expensive hotels. The temperature controls allow you get any temperature you want. My priority is a quiet, comfortable nights sleep in a dark room, and that is what I got. All at a price that was lower than many less comfortable hotels in NYC.

Shawna S.

Yelp
Not my usual NYC haunt. But, circumstances led me to the Cambria Chelsea. Very reasonably priced. Located near to the galleries and walking distance to the Whitney, subways and Penn Station. Due to pandemic restrictions, front doors are locked. Knock to enter. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff are friendly, pleasant and professional (Thanks Michelle and Ecram). Elevators and floors are clean and quiet. Non smoking facility, but there is a subtle lingering echo of smoke, particularly cannabis, in the halls. I rarely spend much time in the room, so views are not always important. Good thing, the alley was not much to look at. Rooms are sufficiently spacious, bathrooms not so much - trying to change your mind or close the door while using the toilet requires yoga training. But, the shower was roomy, clean and user-friendly. No shortage of hot water. Towels and soaps adequately stocked. Bed was clean, crisp and comfy with plenty of pillows. Cable and free Wi Fi were optimal. Climate controls are idiot proof and function for comfort. All-in-all, a clean well-lighted no-frills space. Not 5 star, but not seedy. I would stay again and would recommend to other travelers not seeking vacation accommodations. N.B. If you want housekeeping service, you MUST notify the front desk in advance!!

Lawrence V.

Yelp
We stayed at this location for 8 nights and it was great. The location was nice and were just a short walk to the subway lines that allowed us to get around Manhattan easily. We got to know the housekeeping manager Yohanna a bit as we saw her everywhere, and she was friendly and told us a bit about the city and gave us ideas. I would recommend staying here and if I find myself back in the city again it will definitely be my go-to spot.

Farah A.

Yelp
Stayed here 3/11-3/13 and it was in a great location. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Chanel at the front desk was also very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would be staying here again in the future.

Sandra P.

Yelp
We stayed here for several nights while moving our daughter into her dorm at FIT (just a 5 minute walk away). First of all, the location is fabulous. Very close to the number 1 train subway station and within walking distance to lots of great sights. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pull out couch however was very awkward (we had to have someone come and show us how to open it). Our daughter slept on it, but it was hard and not too comfortable. The zipper was broken, so the foam was exposed and it simply was not a great place to sleep, but she managed. They gave us some extra blankets to cover the foam and make it more comfortable, as there were no other rooms available. We never had any issues waiting for elevators like we have had in the past with other hotels, which was nice. The bathroom was extremely small, although clean and the shower had great water pressure. It was awkward to maneuver in the bathroom, as you had to almost step into the shower to close the door. No breakfast is offered, which was fine for us because it made us explore several great restaurants within walking distance. The rooftop bar was great! We did not get drinks, but we did order pizza one night and ate it on the rooftop. It was great! So overall I liked this place. Just prepare for a small bathroom (it is New York after all!) and be prepared for an awkward pull out bed if you are planning on using it.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Friendly and helpful front desk staff, with an efficient check-in service. My room was surprisingly decently sized for another NYC hotels. I was here for a work conference, and didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but was very happy they do have a small gym. My only wish was this hotel had some decent coffee. However a couple doors down was a French cafe with fantastic coffee and pastry. The hotel also held my bag in the lobby on my last day, had to work after check out and return for my luggage. So grateful for this.

Angela L.

Yelp
Their clean level doesn't meet basic standards! Your trip will be ruined if you stay at Cambria hotel NY Chelsea. My over all experience to all of the consumers. This hotel is dirty, smells stinky, and the floor is sticky when you first step into the room. I request the front desk to exchange for a cleaner room, they just ignores our request. Not even try! No daily makeup room even paying $300 plus tax per night! I am sure you can have a better place to stay for this kind of budget. So my advice to you is A NO NO NO NO not to stay at this hotel. Bad experience ever.

Mary Jo F.

Yelp
The Cambria Chelsea is a phenomenal hotel! This is our 3rd visit as a family (myself and 2 daughters)and first I have to say the staff is amazing! They are polite and go out of their way to insure everything goes well with your stay. First you get a text confirmation if you book through Choice hotels website then a text at arrival to find out if your room is satisfactory. Brian, David, Jose, Alexandria and Melissa insured our visit from February 22-23 was great! The wifi at this hotel is super - my 2 teen girls raved about the speed. There are also computers and a printer in the lobby if you need to check email or print a ticket. The location is a short walk from Penn Station (about 10 m.) And 15-20 m from Grand Central or Times Square. If you want exercise there is a High Line entrance a couple blocks away or they have a workout facility in the basement (see photo), which we always use. The room itself, pictured, is clean and comfortable. The full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash are a plus and the shower is a good size. The beds were super comfortable and it was really QUIET. We were on the 8th floor facing the city so I expected it to be loud but it was the exact opposite and the blackout shades were a plus. In addition there is a flat screen tv with netflix, a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Plus complimentary coffee. Finally the food is delicious and the service fast! We got cookies on arrival and breakfast (french toast and a sausage sandwich for breakfast) was at our room within 10 minutes. They have a full service restaurant with alcohol so they have daily drink and food specials. In the summer, check out the rooftop bar. All in all, this hotel has it all: cleanliness, communication, an awesome staff, good food/drinks and location plus amenities like wifi and a gym. Looking forward to our next NYC visit and staying at the Cambria!

Kylie W.

Yelp
10/10 experience! Melinda, David and Tyler are such assets to this hotel and make guest's experiences incomparable to any of Cambria's competitors. They had great attitudes and will go out of their way to ensure your visit is nearly perect. Easily top three hotel experiences I've ever had. I've had a crazy couple of weeks dealing with apartment/moving screw ups and had to stay here several days, two unexpected, and separate trips where I had to extend days both trips each time, one night at a time and veeeery last minute each time I called down. The staff made every part of my experience completely seamless and they are some of the nicest people I've ever met and are incredible at what they do (sometimes I wonder why certain people even go into the hospitality industry because personable and empathetic employees have become few and far between). The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in my life. Huuuuge televisions with all channels, as well as Netflix and Showtime. Clean, nice rooms that are a great size. Microwave and fridge in room.

Yelp
Stayed here again a few days ago. One of the few places in town that has a sofa bed available (not much of a sofa bed but think of it like a small narrow twin bed). Centrally located but eternal construction going on (as it seems to be in all of NYC). Also, most of the streets are in poor shape and traffic is ridiculous most of the time. However, that has nothing to do with the Cambria. Again, the staff is the stand-out here. Manager Tyler was very kind to my family. Angel, Jacqueline, and Brian at the front desk were always helpful and courteous. When they found out we were in town for a death in the family, they even gave my wife a lovely condolence card from the staff. Ben and Gregory in housekeeping were also great. We will probably stay here again.

Yelp
The Cambria is a pretty cool hotel in a great location. Super close to the subway systems and walkable to many places. The best thing though was the service. Angel at the front desk was awesome and had great food recommendations. Would totally come back to the Cambria on my next trip to NY.

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start. I booked this hotel for great reviews and the location. Though location was great for NYC but hotel itself is supremely outdated, ripped curtains, ripped bed spread, old and crocket lampshades, stinky corridors, AC not working especially during this heat waive at night keeping turning off, rude and full of attitude staff and tinniest bathroom. No housekeeping daily. Above all paying $1500 for three nights to extremely outdated, stinky room with ugly views. When I asked the front desk staff ( his name starts with T ( Tarone I guess) he told me trust me it's a nice room when I saw the room which was on 11th floor I got really frustrated so I went downstairs and asked for the room switch he immediately said we are sold. He promised I will get the better view room next day. Me and my mom and brother packed our stuff and I went downstairs next morning to ask for the room switch I was told by Staff Cylone I guess his name was said oh the staff yesterday was a new he didn't know much and that's how the hotel room switch works we can't guarantee room, this is extremely pathetic thing to hear. They don't know what rooms are being available next day obviously trying to make their guests fool. And don't ask for the rooms, I'm posting pictures here which speaks to themselves. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else, plenty of options with this amount of money in the area. I don't recommend this place and will never stay here ever again.

Yelp
We had a really enjoyable stay at the Cambria in Manhattan. Very clean, excellent service and an incredible location right on 28th near the 1 Subway train. Easy to get to Penn station to take you anywhere in the city. Was particularly appreciative of the service provided by Alexandria at the front desk. Would absolutely stay again.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at this property and it started with Sherman when we checked in. I travel weekly for work and I spend a lot of nights in various hotels so I've seen my share of good and bad hotel stays. Sherman made us feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. The room itself was large and comfortable, especially by NYC standards. We had plenty of room to walk around the bed and had a actual closet and a sofa. The room was quiet and comfortable and since we were there on 4th of July weekend we really appreciated the great working AC. The hotel was conveniently located near good restaurants, delis and a 24 hour McDonalds. All in all we highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
Our room was located next to a makeshift broom closet? It was tucked in the corner on a lower floor. During the day, you can pretty much hear everyone near you. Perhaps we have loud neighbors but walls are pretty thin. The room itself is small (I expect that from NYC). Basically the restroom is about enough room to turn around. Barely any shelf space and a tiny yellow sink. The shower itself was dirty and rusting and you can see the dirt accumulated on the floor. I moved the ottoman to lay my carryon on and it was completely dirty underneath. The rooftop was small and quaint if you want a "view" without tne people and have a drink. I think if you're in town but wont spend a lot of time in the hotel, this is fine. Most likely will not come back again. Also, the AC didn't work.

Yelp
This is a nice, clean, centrally located hotel. The subway station is at the end of the block, it's on the flower store street, but there can be some noise if there's a lot of traffic, but it's not the busiest street. There's a lot of places to eat that are within walking distance. The room itself is fine, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom not that small, towels, toiletries, AC. Depending on your room, the view can be just okay or nice. There's a restaurant/bar in the lobby.

Yelp
This hotel situated in the Flower District gets it right. On 28th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, the lobby is easy to navigate, the elevators quick and easy, the front desk responsive and helpful, housekeeping friendly and thorough. Returning from the Lincoln Center and two films at the New York Film Festival, we enjoy the rooftop bar on Margarita Monday and the city lights. Comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in the room, and best feature of a compact and clean bathroom--the roomy shower with lots of hot water. Room darkening curtains help ensure good sleep and we experience little street noise from our 10th floor room. A lidded chest provides extra storage space bedside as well as a perfect spot to set CPAP. Easy to head out to all points in the city with subway stations and bus stops at either 6th or 7th Avenue. We walk up to 6th Avenue for taxi to Penn Station and board NJ Transit to Newark International Airport and flight home. My friend receives travel alerts and we are able to take advantage of a great deal, each of us paying a total of $291.00 for three night stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay in hotel Cambria! Wonderful customer service! 10 out of 10!!!! The room was comfortable but small (but that's typical for NYC). Amazing location, very close to not only some touristic spots, but also cool cafes. And Whole Foods market just around the corner.

Yelp
Some girlfriends and I stayed a few days at this hotel. The hotel as clean, comfortable, and has a helpful staff. My only complaint is the size of the bathroom. I stayed in a franchise hotel in DC with a reasonably sized bathroom. I left my purse in the break room one night the staff was helpful and brought it right to my room. The staff member Rashaad also was helpful with directions for sites we wanted to see. The hotel is located in the Flower District, close to several shopping places including the largest Macy's

Yelp
Great location, walkable to everything including Penn Station. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They offered a late check out and held our bags so we could explore longer on our final day in the city. Nice views and overall quiet hotel. Only downside was the small bathroom. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.
