Cambridge St Coffee House

Meh. Loved that they still had pumpkin spice, as it's too good to have only a few months out of the year. Hubby thought his latte was average. The vegan egg and cheese bagel was ok. Bagel was good although a little burnt but the vegan sausage which looked just like Morning Star was nuked for 30 seconds too long. So overdone it was crunchy. I would have complained but the line was long and they were busy. This is a dog friendly establishment and they give pup cups to furry friends. It's a small space and dogs make it feel a little smaller. It seemed like most people walked here, if you are driving make sure your parallel parking skills are on point. Spots are hard to come by. $25 for two cups of coffee and a burnt sandwich seemed a little steep.

Stopped in to do some work and grab a quick bite to eat. Small coffee shop, but decent sized tables for laptops and to spread out. It was clean and service was friendly. I got the BLT with avocado on sourdough. It had fresh ingredients and a decent amount of bacon. I wish it had some type of aioli or sauce, it needed an extra kick of flavor. I also got the oreo cookie and it was also good but maybe a little overdone for my liking. I like a softer cookie. The big oreo chunks were unique though! I would consider coming back to work in the future and try other food!

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times. It’s been a while and figured we go again. The food was delicious as expected. I spent $16. They had a spinach and tomato breakfast pizza (with egg) as a special I think. It was amazing. The flavor was good and let me tell you I don’t like bland things! You can tell they didn’t just slap tomatoes and spinach on a piece of bread. The crust was good, and there were other little additions of ingredients that really pulled it together. Whoever made these pizzas put some love into it. They put a lot of cream cheese in their bagels which I appreciate!!! I also got a vanilla latte. It was good I just added more sugar (provided).

I love coming here to read and journal, i usually get a strawberry matcha with oat milk and a sausage egg and cheese on brioche. The drinks are always good, the sandwich is good and BIG, and the staff are always super friendly even when you can’t quite spit your order out. No better way to get a coffee, or in my case the BEST toasted marshmallow salted caramel Latte with whip cream and the brightest welcoming smile from staff. There’s always new breakfast items on the menu, so breakfast never gets boring. Thanks for making my 1st cup or 5th cup of coffee/latte of the day worth every sip.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches and solid coffee. My only complaint is that 1 shot of espresso for a 24oz latte is basically charging for slightly coffee flavored milk. And if you add more espresso it becomes the most expensive latte in the neighborhood

Cambridge Street Coffee House is one of the most underrated coffee spots in Philadelphia. Hands down some of the best coffee and baked goods I've ever had. The owner, Carol, is also so down to earth; she really takes the time to get to know her regulars. I just wish they were in a larger location; it can fill up pretty quickly on both the weekends and weekdays!

Coffee is slay! Partner loved the everything bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and the coffees! I had the avocado toast with an egg but to be honest it wasn’t well seasoned and the avocado tasted like it was smashed early and then refrigerated for a bit. Overall would definitely come back for the incredible wait staff who were all so kind and wonderful to interact with! Give this place a try! It’s very cute and great for working or catching up with friends!

Stopped by Cambridge St Coffee House while visiting town, and it did not disappoint! The service was fast and super welcoming, and the space was clean, lively, and inviting. Everyone--from the staff to the customers--was genuinely friendly, which made for such a great experience. My iced latte was excellent, but the highlight was definitely the banana chocolate chip muffin--hands down the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return on my next visit!

To begin we were visiting from out-of-town and one of my sister-friends is vegan. Because we also didn't want to leave our beds we had to use a delivery service. The person that answered the phone for me on all three calls helped me cater my sandwich to my special requests. Ordered was the vegan "bacon, egg & cheese", bacon, egg & cheese w/vegan sausage subbed, and my BLT/B, E&C combined sandwich. The sandwiches were on sourdough and are "nothing to sneeze at"! I was only able to finish 1/2 of my sandwich. It was fresh, yummy and relatively healthy. I would like to thank the rep that assisted me, she is patient and efficient. I got a latte and muffin and they were both good and the service was very kind. My friend however ordered an iced americano and it was watered down so maybe just stick to the other drinks!

The three of us arrived about an hour before closing on a Sunday. We were greeted with "the kitchen is closed." So we ordered drinks and the last three muffins/cupcakes that they had and the cashier guy made a face!! He also had no idea what they have (soy? Oat?) and kept asking the woman that was making the drinks. The muffins were delicious...while the service left something to be desired we hope to be back for a good muffin and corrective experience.

Not only was the service exemplary, the sandwiches and drinks were delicious. We had to stop by the coffee shop after hearing only good things. We don't come to Philly often but this will definitely be a must-do stop every time. Had sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on brioche which could rival any gourmet brunch. Two patties and an egg that covered the whole bun. Topped off with a delicious - just melted enough - cheese. Washed it down with a perfect hot coco. Ambiance was on point, just the right amount of coffee shop and hang out.

Cute cafe and they have so many varieties of coffees, drinks and food. A bit pricey, but overall a great place for coffee dates or working. Services are great! Everyone is very friendly.

Not quite sure how I stumbled upon this place, but sure am glad that I did. It was such a chill environment in here. I came with my book ready to relax and read while I enjoyed a sweet treat and the spot did not disappoint. I would definitely come here to do work or school related things. the sweet dessert type toast that I had was great and I would definitely come back for that or for other options they offer. If you are in the area definitely check this place out!

horrible customer service. came 3 times ill never come again. they let you stand there even after looking you in the face. cute coffee shop horrible place. one girl was nice enough to look up once i shouted may i place an order. dont see you guys lasting long with an obviously rude staff that cant simply say welcome to cambridge coffee or a measley goodmorning will never return.

I love it here. The vibe is chill and the service is always soo good. The baristas are extra nice and friendly. The turkey sandwich is to die for and espresso drinks are soooo smooth and delicious. They have a high quality espresso machine! Highly recommend

What a hidden gem in Fairmount/Francisville! This place has a variety of breakfast sandwiches and delicious coffees. They even have vegan options which is always a plus. I got the vegan breakfast sandwich which was their take on a sausage egg and cheese. It was so good! The staff was so kind as well. Check out this spot, it is definitely on your list of must try trendy coffee spots in the city.

Hot chocolate and carrot cupcake (with cream cheese icing) was a yummy breakfast snack for the weekend.

What a wonderful addition to the booming Francisville neighborhood. This is the perfect spot to grab take out or to relax on your own or with a couple of colleagues or friends. They have a great menu and the owner, manager, and all the employees were very friendly. Was served a perfect latte by Devon. This is my new favorite coffee shop in the area. I just wish I knew it existed sooner.

Cambridge Coffee is such a gem in the neighborhood! Excellent coffee, sandwiches and baked-in-house muffins and treats. The staff is friendly and the space really comfortable and welcoming. So lucky to have them!

Do not eat here if you have celiac disease. They toast the gluten free bagels in the same toaster as the regular bread, which defeats the purpose.

Stopped by to study while drinking coffee and I got a latte with oat milk and caramel. Tasted so good and prices are very fair! Also look at this cute art on top of the coffee! I'll definitely come back to try more drinks and food like their Valentine's Day Special or their caper cream cheese bagel. Def a hidden gem on ridge ave, I will be back again!

Tried this spot out again. The $11 breakfast sandwich was pretty mediocre at best, and my iced beverage was watered down within a couple of minutes - barely any espresso flavor. Service was as expected. Probably won't try it out again!

Nice coffee shop and the staff was very friendly! I requested an iced oat milk matcha latte (which isn't on the menu), and was served a pretty good one! I went early afternoon, and it was empty. There's plenty of room here to sit, sip, study, chat and enjoy yourself. I have to get back there asap to try their food!

I guess they think the attractive aesthetic will compensate for the mediocre food and drinks. I ordered a chai and turkey caprese toast. Both were flavorless. You can tell they are trying to get away with as little effort as they can. We will not be going back.

This is my favorite cafe in the area! The coffee is amazing and the sandwiches are to die for. I love the vibes inside too. Everyone who works there is so friendly and I love that they have gluten free options for breakfast sandwiches! Try the turkey sandwich, it will not disappoint :)

The best BLT I have ever had! Every layer was perfect. Nice crisp bacon. The best service and are so dog friendly. We're so lucky to have such a great place near us! Best iced coffee too! It's a weekly tradition now!

A cute little shop tucked away that has incredible coffee and pastries for a fair price. The in-house baked muffins are incredible and the bagels are also tasty. I'm sure the breakfast sandwiches and waffles are also awesome. I love having this spot nearby and will be back!

Horrible service, the workers refused to fix my order when my drink tasted liked tea. They kept saying how I didn't like the drink and didn't fix it until I went back up to the cashier for the third time. It was ridiculous, what happened to the customer is always right and accommodating for the customer. Service might be racist.

Hands down the best coffee shop in the area. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the atmosphere inside is clean and cozy. Carols baked goods are also AMAZING- do yourself a favor and snag a brownie and cookie when you can! The staff are super friendly, and it's just a really pleasant space to be in.

Great iced coffee and fantastic baked goods made in-house. Staff is warm and friendly. This is my new favorite spot in the neighborhood -- my dog even gets excited to stop by.
