What a stunning, thoughtful, and phenomenal establishment and experience. Stephen, our "waiter" (that's not his title and it seems insulting calling him this, but let me live, ok?) was precious. He was funny, attentive, very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and definitely made our experience what it was - an experience I'd like to live over and over. We were celebrating my mother's birthday, which was acknowledged with strawberries and crème with candle. Delicious and appreciated.
You're looking at the pictures. You see it. Camellias is STUNNING! It is more beautiful and detailed in person than pictures can do justice. Not only that, but the food and tea was scrumptious.
I believe we got the Mad Hatter tea. It was divine. I like my teas sweet, and that it was. I would have drank the entire kettle if not for the food. I'm skipping over the rose champagne flight because I don't like champagne and that was where I went wrong. My mom enjoyed them very much. Back to the food. I love going to high tea for the very reason that you get to try a bunch of things that you might not otherwise. I enjoyed almost everything from both the savory and sweet, with my least favorite being the truffle deviled egg and mango truffle. Otherwise, yum yum yum. So many different flavors I was introduced to that I very much appreciated.
Take the leap, give them your money!
