Camelot Ballroom

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful dance floor and very friendly beautiful people. My husband and I are new to dancing and we felt very comfortable " messing up" our moves. It was quite a difference from one other local place where a lady told a man I was dancing with " now come and dance with a " real partner ". Camelot has a great vibe as a place and everyone has been kind and fabulously supportive.

We have had two special events at Camelot ballroom and just love them. They are so helpful and nice to work with, always courteous and thoughtful and we could not ask for more.

Camelot has a high-quality dance floor. It's an excellent place to go on a Friday or Saturday night to dance. This is not a place for children but a great place to bring your wife or girlfriend to dance. The age group that typically attends this venue is from the late twenties to the 70s with most people being in the 40 to 60 year range. Great music and an excellent dance floor make this a great place to spend the evening!

I've been coming about once a month for the West Coast swing events, and I really enjoy the Camelot Ballroom! Its high ceilings, clean bathrooms, snacks and beverages all make for a really nice event space.

I had my wedding there this summer. Camelot did great. They are affordable, clean and offer a great environment. About 10% of our guests were kids, so the dance lesson room connected to the main ballroom was a great place to let them run around and have fun. My wife and I looked at hotels and other venues throughout Johnson County. Camelot's package deal (food, alcohol, DJ, off-duty copy mandated by city) was by far the best we could find at an attractive facility. There were no hidden costs and we were given our deposit back quickly. With a big event like a wedding reception, I should have found some flaw with Camelot. I didn't. Bridget was great to work with.

We attended a homeschool Prom dance this past friday. First time attending an event with my teen at Camelot and she had a blast. I felt that the atmosphere was very fun safe and friendly. Will be attending more events here in the future.

Our daughter's wedding reception was at Camelot, June 2014, and it was perfect. Bridget was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating with regard to setting up before the reception and thoughtful by providing champagne for parents of the bride and parents of the groom who were also celebrating 25 years of marriage! The ballroom is beautiful, the DJ, James Barr, was very entertaining and engaging.

Reviewing this place as a guest to a wedding I've attended recently. Everything was good. Lots of spaces for parking, guests and tables, dance floor, large room, and plenty of restrooms too for a large crowd. They even have a room for nursing for those that need it. Location is not too far from the highway and easy to get to. This place is a great place for those who want to host a party.
