My coworker just purchased 4 dozen on these cupcakes (assorted flavors) and I had the absolute pleasure of trying the sweet potato one.. I was already blown away by the amazing customer service that the gentleman displayed when we went to get them. Now, the fact that these cupcakes are super fresh and taste AMAZING makes the whole experience a 10/10!!!! I highly recommend Cami Cakes! Keep up the good work.

I bought for my friends home and they sell $25 for 6 cup cakes. Bought velvet, banana and chocolate and heard from my friend that his daughter loved it. Service was quick and professional.

This place is excellent for cupcakes . The frosting in cupcakes is so yummy. We tried classic, chocolate on chocolate and red velvet . All were yummylicious. It’s on 1st floor of Lenox mall.

Cute little shop. The cupcakes we got were great, sweet asf but good. Best one was the biscoff!

They still have it when it comes to cupcakes. The service is “okay” at Lenox as they operate like a vending machine.

1. Yes, the cake is MOIST! 2. It’s a little pricey, but if you are a baker then you will understand the cost. It is worth the price. 3. The staff was very friendly and greeted me immediately upon entering. I’m all about service. 4. Neat and clean is the best way to describe the store itself. This matters when buying mall food. 5. Red velvet is really good. The icing is rich and the cake is equally as rich. Definitely a must if you have a sweet tooth.

CAMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!! I’m disappointed in the rest of the reviews because BABY!!!!! I’ve been trying to find something remotely close to my Auntie Sally Red velvet and the search has gone cold until today. My family is red velvet cake connoisseurs because my Aunt set the bar so high with the moisture, using real ingredients. The color is always rich and her icing is amazing. Cami cupcakes is actually very close to her recipe. I was so excited that finally something tastes & looks remotely close to hers. My only suggestion is that it needs to be a little bit more sweeter with the cake, but it was very moist even though it was probably sitting there all day. The cake still did not disappoint. For the more traditional taste I must have pecans all over my cake. I will absolutely be back seven dollars well spent. Also, the picture does not do it justice the cake slices were massive. Service was good the little helpers were unfortunately in the back so we had no idea that they were open but they were very pleasant and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Google
Heard about these, so I stopped by in Lenox. Cute store, large variety of cupcakes, and cake slices displayed nicely. Ordered a lemon and a pineapple coconut cupcake, served in a cute little box. Service was good, but there was nothing special to me about the taste of these $5 cupcakes - I didn't think either was freshly made, unfortunately.

Yelp
First off, let me just say--I apologize because this review is long overdue! I love me some Cami Cakes! I wasn't even planning on stopping. I was on my way to an interview, walking by, and I couldn't resist. The cupcakes were calling me and I'm glad I did. My mom got the red velvet cake, and baby... she loved that cake. I'm just going to go ahead and apologize for the photo now because I didn't even get a chance to take one before she was in it. Like, in it. So once you see that picture and the cake is basically gone--just know, that's your sign. It was that good. The red velvet is moist, not heavy on the dye, and the cocoa flavor was exactly where it needed to be. Now let's talk about the cream cheese frosting, because let's be clear, red velvet without cream cheese frosting is just red cake. But this frosting!! So good!! Light, smooth, flavorful. My mom loves it, and she's picky. I usually go for the cupcakes. This time I got my two faves: the banana cream and the sweet potato. That sweet potato cupcake has been my go-to from day one. Every time I try something else, I still come back to that one. It's just that good. I would've gotten more, but we're currently trying to un-big my back, So I had to keep it cute and only grab two. I'm also really happy about the new space. It used to be in a smaller spot, but now it's bigger, brighter, and there's such a good variety. Whether it's a treat for yourself or a "just because" moment, it's worth it. Everything is light, not too sweet, not too heavy--just right. It's like a cheat day without the guilt. Cami girl... you are doing it! And I have to stay away from you because if I walk into that mall, I already know what's happening. If you haven't had your Cami Cake, you are missing out. Go get you one. You'll be back.

Yelp
Second time here. Customer service was lacking in the last visit but the cupcakes were good so I wanted to give them another try. For $5 a cupcake, Bad choice. Customer service was still lacking. Lacking as in- it was as if we (the customers, not just me but other people in line) were bothering her. Ex: me: can I get the strawberry cupcake. Her: (not even looking up) we're out of strawberry. Me: oh ok. what's that cupcake with the strawberry on it. It didn't have a name card so I assumed it was strawberry. Her: (rolling her eyes) that's strawberry and cream. Me. Can I get that one please. Her: (rudely) just one. Me: yes and a turtle cupcake. She loudly sighed and got the cupcakes. Crazy thing is this was a different employee than last visit. So is it lack of training or poor hiring. Not sure. Cupcakes are delicious but unfortunately I won't be giving this place another try.

Yelp
At Cumberland Mall and tried 4 flavors and was incredibly disappointed by the lack of flavor in the frosting and the cake, which was very dry. We later found out that the cupcakes from the day are put back into the fridge and sold in the next day, which is not uncommon but they must have that on repeat because not one of these cupcakes was a hit. I think I had one at another location that was fresh but the frosting doesn't even taste like frosting - it's kinda like a blob of mildly sweet butter. I don't know what it is. I'll have to try another location and ask if they have some that are fresh and newly frosted and will report back.

Yelp
It is located in Cumberland Mall, which is really convenient. They are really nice and have great customer service! Every Tuesday they offer cupcakes for $2 from 2 pm - 4 pm. They have a lot of fun flavors. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Lenox Hill Mall location: I was so excited to see Red Velvet Cake as it was my mission to treat myself after leaving the west coast. Before I could finish asking the employee if it was cream cheese frosting, she gave me a quick yes. Well, it didn't taste like it. Sad to say the slice wasn't flavorful and hard around the edges. I know old cake. A waste of $9.70. Now, I'm back on the hunt for moist layers and sweet cream. Amen.

Yelp
I am very disappointed in the quality of the cupcakes I received yesterday. I have enjoyed these amazing cupcakes for years. I haven't been recently because they closed their storefront and only had a location in the local mall. Yesterday I went into the mall to get some of the cupcakes during my winter break and I was very disappointed. I ordered six cupcakes for $24. The cupcakes were at least a few days old. The top breading was very hard and it did not taste like I remembered it. I used to brag about how delicious these cupcakes were, but I don't think I will be purchasing these cupcakes anymore.

Yelp
3.5 Stars (rounding up in the spirt of the holidays) Service was okay. The young lady helping me wasn't very engaged, and a little slow filling my order (I was the only customer at the time). She had to ask twice for my selections. I bought four cupcakes ($3.95/ea.): Salted Caramel, White Chocolate Macadamia, Cookie Butter, and Strawberry Cheesecake. They were all delicious...hard to pick one as my favorite. Also, a little messy to eat, but I guess that could be a good thing! Would definitely try them again.

Yelp
It was near closing time for the mall and I wanted to bring home a few cupcakes. The couple ahead of me ordered 2 dozen and it seemed to take the employee in back a while to assemble their order. What should have been an in-and-out transaction took about 15 minutes. They did not box my 2 cupcakes individually as I asked and put them in 2 standard containers, which caused them to roll around. Very disappointed since they were $4 cupcakes and looked like a mess when I delivered them to my friend. They look pretty, but sadly the cupcakes were just meh. Kind of dense and dry, but the frosting was pretty good.

Yelp
Smaller than standard cupcake and cost $1 more. The cake is somewhat dry. Nice variety though

Tom W.

Yelp
Have now been there 6 times. Anyone saying "it lacks flavor" has an alternative motive. I definitely found my favorite flavor "butter cream" and a couple other flavors not far behind my tastebuds enjoyment. Even tried their mini Sampler. Definitely delicious!!

Yelp
the communication here sucks! had to drive to two locations which were 30+mins away from my house and each other to track down a $70 cake that I never got an email or call saying it was ready. Too expensive and too far for the typea of issues. Black businesses have to do better if they want the support or their community man.

Radhika Q.

Yelp
I don't like to write bad reviews but I no choice, I love a good slice of cake or even a cup cake from time to time but cami cakes keep disappointing me. Cakes are ALWAYS stale and hard, I've tried taking them back and have them exchanged but it's just as awful. Please stop taking people money and not delivering on your end, your cakes could be so good if you just stop selling us old cakes.

M A.

Yelp
Staff is really rude and terrible customer service. I felt they were paying me instead and did not feel like a customer. Very rude and disgusting service.

Yelp
This is such a cute place!!!! I am a sucker for cupcakeries. This one didn't disappoint. My cupcake was so moist and delicious!!! It was worth the $4 and change I paid for it. The cashier was very friendly. If I am in the area I would go back!!!! My tip buy more than one! PS I had the cookie butter cupcake. I really wanted the sweet potato cupcake but I didn't want to buy two on my last day.

James D.

Yelp
Location at Cumberland Mall. Ordered a dozen of cupcakes all not fresh. I should have followed my mind but driving so far I decided to go ahead and purchase. Sign up tell them to spray Raid for unwanted critters. I have email Cami Cake no reply back. First time going to this location and last.

Yelp
This was my 1st time trying Cami Cakes!! This slice was soooo good!!! Very moist and tasty! The young lady who serviced me at this location was really sweet! The booth in the mall was very cute too!

Kadeashia S.

Yelp
The cupcakes are good but the customer service was horrible, Camille was so rude! I waited patiently waited over 30 minutes I think she took her break no problem. As she came back she greeted some guys first and they told her I was her first she came to help me with an attitude out of no where because I guess she wanted to have a conversation with the guys .. anyways proceeded to help me. I told her want I wanted she rang in the price FIRST as if she wanted to make sure I had the money and one of the cupcakes were damaged I politely asked her if I can get another one because it was for a birthday and I'm sure they would of wanted pictures she hated that ... no conversation with me and proceeds to great lady behind me with a full blown conversation sending me out the door very rude. Camille please fix your attitude nobody did anything to you besides support !

Yelp
The absolute best Red Velvet cake I have ever had and Cami is a living doll... My best friend is a Red Velvet connoisseur and I have had it from the East coast to the West Coast. It was the BEST!!!

Yelp
Cami Cakes at Lenox Square in Atlanta is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful cupcakes. I really like the different types of cupcakes that they have available and have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here.

Kia M.

Yelp
The service at the Lennox Square (Lennox Mall) was good. There are a variety of cupcakes to choose from. I, however, purchased a slice of cake, rather than the cupcakes. The red velvet cakes slice I had was huge and I was looking forward to eating it. It was not tasty. It the cake was heavy and dense. The ice was not sweet or flavorful. I couldn't eat the whole slice. I hope the cupcakes are better. I will not be returning.

K B.

Yelp
This is the best red velvet cupcake I have ever had. I been to more than one of their locations. The cupcake is moist and the top is slightly crispy. The icing is not too sweet which I appreciate. It's absolutely perfect. I also find the prices reasonable especially for the size compared to other bakeries such as Kupcakerie.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I am a terrible baker and once tried to make cupcakes at home. My kids declared it "the worst cornbread they had ever tasted." These tasted worse than that. Two stars because I didn't get food poisoning at least.

Yelp
I was a manager here & didn't last for more than two weeks let me tell you why, first off andrea isn't a bad person I THOUGHT i want to start by saying that. She owns her own business with multiple locations around atlanta area. But the problems i had was first off there are no benefits 401k,health,dental,discounts etc. andrea informed me that working there for 3 months i would be able to get a performance bonus based on that month depending on what the store sales were & i get a percentage of the profit, i had to think about that because thats not guaranteed every month. For example if the store usually makes 50k a month & it will make 70k next month i would get a percentage of the 20k which was cool but again not sustainable in my opinion & you cant compare or swap that out with benefits , i have two young daughters & i am the provider for my family. So at that point i was going to talk to andrea about this situation once i seen how the first paycheck was looking. She started me off with 50k which isn't bad. But no benefits come on, But another problem i had was her actual cakes & cupcakes supply for the store. She hired a delivery guy to bring all her cakes & cupcakes to both her mall locations Lennox and Cumberland every morning. Because the work you had to do is a full time thing, you take all the cupcakes from the pantry on treys from the warehouse, then roll them out to the van, another problem is had was the way andrea wants you transport the actual product. With all theses years in business i would expect for her to have safer & better practices with her products (cakes and cupcakes) you take the cupcakes on a trey then put them in a big plastic bins. Problem with that is theses bins are never cleaned. Remember we dealing with cake and butter cream. So you can try and drive slow as you want the cupcakes will fall over & make the bin messy, sticky, and dirty. And butter cream will be all over your clothes everyday how you want her managers to be clean and presentable when they doing delivery boy work everyday getting they self sticky and nasty. She not looking for a manager she looking for someone she can have to about 2-3 peoples job without paying them. Just paying you the minimum while your doing the maximum. With that being said my first day when she was showing me how to do it the bins must've not been cleaned in months they were filthy, she told me "we have to clean them out today" but the delivery guy who works there secretly told me they NEVER LIKE NEVER clean it. He's like "she said we have to go to the carwash and wash them? Why we never do that" And he basically was "training" me for the day. being that he told me she told him, don't come back until i need you, because the manager will be doing deliveries for now on. Ill get into why that would be a problem later. But we cleaned the bins for the day, she Doesn't have a gas card for the company so we were running out of gas and the kid who was training me put money out his own pockets into the company car, you can tell this was the first time of her cleaning the bins because there was no proper way to do anything & It was sooo nasty and gross im like how could you even let this build up. The flies would be in the bins its sticky and nasty & when you take the treys out the bin you have to put the bin on the concrete ground which is nasty as well because your putting your cakes which people are eating everyday in there. Very unsanitary, why not install shelves in your company van so the cakes wont spill over and get nasty on a plastic bucket which is never cleaned and filthy with flies & filth from the ground, it was a transit so i know its possible to do ( she tries to save money on everything ) which i don't blame her for but do it the right way. So from 7am - 3pm was our agreement which was great for me. But from 7am-9am i had to wait for her pantry ladies to finish the cakes then from 10pm-1pm i had to deliver the cupcakes & cakes to each store without spilling them & loading and unloading, by time i get back to the warehouse theres either no time or little time left, im sticky im full of cake. And i HAD TO DO THIS but she also wanted me to do inventory on every product in the store, schedule employees, pick up products from supermarkets, clean up each store & warehouse, break down all boxes & take to trash, ALSO DO customer deliveries coming in on Shopify so this could be at any moment even when your about to go home you still gotta do that delivery, that wasn't to bad but make it make sense i have no access to anything at home, so i can only do things at work even though im salary, but if i work from 7-3 how am i getting all this done? HOW SWAY? And she will hold the expectations high. The job seems easy and it was for the most part, just not for 50k & NO BENEFITS, why fire your delivery man to put all the work on your manager? Mind you i have no problem doing theses things Ive been a manager over 10 years. I've MANAGED

Yelp
Overall just not good, it tasted like a sugared butter stick. I have three kids who eat all sweets in sight and only our youngest ate it. We all had 1-2 bits and couldn't finish them. I really thought they be like the sprinkles who went out of business, but they weren't even good unfortunately.

David W.

Yelp
Good cupcakes and cake but outrageously overpriced. Nearly $5 for a cupcake?!? And over $8 for a slice of cake. Nope! Like so many places, this one will eventually price itself out of business.
