If there were more stars I'd give them 🌟. . Beautiful please, excellent severs/service!!! Have been coming for years now and it's a wonderful experience from the ambiance to the food. The food is amazing, seriously everything is exceptional. When they have live music (like tonight) it just takes the experience to another level!! Kid friendly menu too. All bases covered this place is a home run.

We went on a Sunday morning when we were starving. Overall it wasn't the best experience in that regard. The service wasn't very good and the prices, contrary to what others said, were not great. They were not bad but not certainly not super cheap. About $10 a plate. I think if we were not starving and instead were prepared for a leisurely breakfast this would be a good place to go. The atmosphere was good, the wait to be seated was short, and the food was very good. Too bad the service sucks but go with a group of friends and hang out and you will enjoy yourself.

Service was friendly but not super attentive, the poor review is for the food. We ordered 3 salads a soup and a sandwich and all were underwhelming. Everything was bland, I had the salmon salad- the salmon was dry and the salad didn't taste like much of anything. My dad had the feta sandwich and there was so much bread in relation of the other ingredients it was super dry and again, no flavor. I just didn't see any redeeming qualities about this place to be worth going back.

I've only been here for lunch, so I can't speak to their breakfast or dinner menu. All of the portions were large so if you're not a big eater, I would consider splitting an entree with someone. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. Lunch will cost $30-40 for 2 entrees without drinks, which would be more appropriate for dinner prices. FOOD. I recently ordered Pasta Puttanesca with prawn - I chose the tomato sauce over the cheese sauce because I wanted the lighter of the two. The sauce was good. Not great, not bad. It was rustic with plenty of olives, but also plenty of capers, which made it a bit too salty for my taste. I took leftovers home and was a little shocked at the amount of oil that accumulated at the bottom - very, very oily. Their pasta dishes overall are too heavy. On top of that, each prawn cost an additional $2, so this dish ended up costing way too much for what it was. Lesson learned - will not be ordering pasta here again. I've tried the salads here a few times and they're decent. I don't mind paying a little extra for good quality, but the salads range between mediocre and pretty good, so I'm not happy paying so much. I feel like the salads next door at Four Cafe are priced better and are tastier. One positive though, is that the portions are large. The sandwiches I've tried are good, but same thing. They cost too much for what they are. I think there is a theme here. SERVICE. Great. The waiters are always attentive and know the menu well. AMBIANCE. Pretty nice. This is the type of restaurant I would take my grandma out to. It's a sit down, cloth napkin kind of place. You can dine inside in booths or outside (I'd recommend inside since Colorado is a really loud street and the outside tables are lined up on the sidewalk right in front of all the car action). Camilo's is alright and I would come back if their menu prices were more reasonable, but there are so many awesome restaurants to choose from in Eagle Rock now that I don't see myself going back until that happens.

Camilo's is one of the best places around to get breakfast! I like all their breakfasts, but their bread pudding French toast is to die for! Absolutely delectable! It's fattening so not for very often, but every once in a while, I have to indulge! Excellent!

Very nice classic place for a good work lunch .. I can say that because on my first day at my new job (yahoo new job .. self pat on back) we went here for a working lunch to talk about projects and expectations. It was the perfect location since it wasn't too loud and is very popular among staff from my company (he saw people from work coming and going!). It's very nicely decorated with wood, comfy bench seating and a full bar (didn't partake .. work lunch!). I got the Chicken Cobb Salad (egg on the side) and think it should really be called a Chopped Chicken Cobb Salad since everything was chopped in small bite size pieces. I got blue cheese dressing and well it's OK. It's a good place for families and business lunches with a late brunch even on workdays but my salad was just OK (not bad but not great). I will say that the staff is very friendly and good with checking in to refill drinks, brought everything out without prompting and were so nice but they should get a screen for the front door (flies were at the front corner booth where we sat). All in all it was OK but not someplace I'd choose to grab lunch again.

We've become regulars here for the last 4 years, we have 3 little kids, they are very welcoming of us. FOOD is always amazing no matter the meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is so welcoming, it's a pleasure to eat there, makes it feel like your "home" even though its white cloth service.

first visit, but the white wine recommendation was spot on and both of our dishes were scrumptious. i got the pesto, with chicken, and it was just so flavorful and the pasta texture was perfect.
