We were first-time visitors this last week and will definitely be back! Only regret was not staying a little longer. So many positives and no issues with our stay. The staff went out of their way to make our experience extra enjoyable, always saying hello and making us feel welcome. The amenities are great, from store to dining and the pool. Food was great and reasonably priced. The RV hookups and sites worked great and very easy to navigate around the park. The golf cart rentals are gas-powered 6-seaters with plenty of power (and traction) to get you around the resort and anywhere along the beach. ||The beach was such a nice surprise. As someone who lived near beaches on the west-coast, I can vouch that this coastline is underrated. Not sure why I don’t hear more about Crystal Beach as a vacation destination, but I can’t wait to come back. The water was warm and the surf was not too strong for young children to enjoy. The sand was super fine and had tons of cool seashells for the kids to find.

Rory was the absolute highlight of our stay! Not only did he serve the most refreshing drinks with incredible speed and personality, but he went above and beyond by personally delivering food to our cabana—something he didn’t have to do, but did with a big smile and great attitude. That level of service is rare and deserves to be recognized! His energy, attention to detail, and ability to make everyone feel like a VIP truly set him apart. He remembered our names, our favorite drinks, and kept the good vibes going all day long. Whether you’re floating in the pool or lounging nearby, Rory makes sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. As a travel agent, this is exactly what I tell my clients to look for—and I’ll be sending every one of them Rory’s way for the best time during their vacation. Camp Margaritaville is lucky to have him!

My husband and I came here for the weekend for a "kid free" relaxing weekend. Our second day we rented a golf cart. That night we took our golf cart to the concert and parked it along with the other 25+ golf carts but unfortunately after the concert when we went to put our chairs in our golf cart it was no where to be found. After calling the after hours emergency line and leaving 3 voice mails , I was able to find an employee on foot. He told us not to worry about the stolen golf cart ( with belongings ) that someone probably accidentally took it ( although we had the keys ?) and it would be found in the morning but unfortunately they had no way to track it. We had belongings and personal items in the golf cart so we weren't super satisfied with that answer. Thankfully another camper drove us around on the golf cart looking for ours. After searching for an hour we found it at the guest parking lot with all our personal items stolen from it. We were then able to find another employee who told us he was with "IT" and there is in fact a way to track the golf carts!! I really want to like this place but it's supposed to be an " escape " and both times coming here it has been stressful. The customer service is just SO BAD . You come here spend 300+ to camp in your RV just to have things stolen from the guests they let in for day passes. Very disheartening.

We’ve had a blast here for the last 5 days. Fins is a decent restaurant. The sites are well maintained for sure. All are pretty new. No issues. We spent way too much time at the swim up bar. I do wish we could drive my truck down to the beach. There is a boardwalk for golf carts. I guess they are trying to get us to rent them. We did. They are a bit overpriced but not bad. Other note- can’t get away from politics on the beach here. Flags all day from all sides. Mostly the Trump side but both were out in droves.

I work for a well-known RV manufacturer and the Texas group of our owners put on an annual rally and this year they chose Camp Margaritaville - Crystal Beach. I attend these rallies, representing our company and can wholeheartedly say that the facilities, staff, amenities and location have set the bar to a new level. I cannot sing enough praise of the ownership, management and the entire staff that are employed here. The degree of accommodation, communication, and availability that the management displayed is truly unparalleled; every single person/employee we interacted with was top-notch and happy to do everything possible to make our multi-day event the best it could possibly be. Mission accomplished. I got the opportunity to visit Finn's Bar & Grill multiple times, dining with customers (really, they're FamAlly to me 😉). The food was great, the atmosphere, light, airy and beachy and again, the staff, top notch. We got to experience some incredible, big-name, live music and the party was popping! We took advantage of the awesome catering services and event spaces. Everything was simply perfect. The grounds are meticulously maintained, cleaned and updated. From a professional perspective, this place is run tight and with a very high degree of emphasis on maximizing the positive experience their guests, in every way possible. From a guest perspective, this place simply rocks, is an incredible destination and should be on your bucket list to visit, but it won't be your last time, it's certainly not mine.

Family trip there for bag of donuts concert. Service was slow, complimentary champagne was cheap and hot. Pool was amazing but couldn’t get to the swim up bar for my margarita due to parents with their children at the bar? Didn’t even know that was a thing . No children should be allowed hanging around the bar stools! Such a shame for the bartenders who should have had more customers tipping and drinking .

Camp Margaritaville is a wonderful place to go to relax and enjoy the beach. We stayed in a pet friendly 2 bedroom 2 bathroom RV. Our site was A09. We were there during a Monday-Thursday. We rented a golf cart for the rate of $129.00 per day. We used it 2 full days. The RV was really nice and the AC kept the place nice and cool. Our site had a dog run which made it awesome for our 3 small dogs. ||We truly enjoyed the adult pool area and hot tub. The staff is attentive and friendly. They will check your bags before entering the pool area. You are not allowed to bring in your own water. I had to leave mine at the desk. You are also not allowed to relax on the daybeds even if no one is there. Those are available to rent for $100 a day. I wish the pool would have stayed open later. They closed at 8:00 pm on the evenings we were there. ||The golf cart was awesome and we enjoyed driving around the property and checking out the beach. The camp store has all the basics you would need and all the facilities/amenities were nice. There are several restaurants and some stores nearby. We ate some food from Fin’s bar and grill. I loved the chicken quesadillas. They can also deliver food to your site. ||We truly had a great time.! It was a blessing to be able to bring our pets on vacation!

Yelp
I'm giving this place between a 3-4 star review. It's a new RV Margaritavillle and it's still under construction. The sites are beautiful and well maintained. We sites each had a picnic table and a fire pit that we cooked s'mores in. We were by the laundry/showers/fitness center. The laundry was reasonably priced at 1.50$ to wash and 1.75$ to dry. It literally only took 1 time to dry everything. The showers were immaculate. There were lots of them and the rooms all had a toilet and sink as well. Very clean and very big. Plus.... They were free!!!! It was nice not having to use our shower at the RV. The fitness center was also nice with barbells and a treadmill as well as other stuff. The pool is huge and beautiful. It does have an adult side and a kids side, but both sides have a swim up bar. The bar had the typical drinks and the only downfall is that they do not have a blender so they can't make frozen drinks that don't come from their premade machine. They also do not open the bar until 11 which is fine, but it would have been nice to have a mimosa or Bloody Mary at 9 when it opened. You can also order from the restaurant menu for food. We ordered pizza and some nachos and both were amazing. Prices were typical for food, but 6.50$ is a little steep for a beer. Especially if you are staying at the pool all day drinking. It would be nice if you could opt in for an all inclusive drink package or pay 50$ and bring in your own cooler. We didn't have a day that our pool tab wasn't less than 100$ pretty steep when you are already paying 100$ for week day and 130$ for Weekend slots for your RV. The roads were closed through the park to get to the ocean due to construction so we did have to drive down a couple of streets to be able to access the beach. The walk was too far especially if you were carting a cooler and young kids. They had a playground for bigger kids and a jumping pad and astroturf game area with lots of activities for kids. Just not anything toddler friendly. A splash pad would be nice for them. We had difficulties with the restaurant when we went to eat. They did not want to honor their website family feast.... Check out my review for Fins Bar and Grill. The smart thing would be to post a sign on door that said they weren't honoring it so you knew that coming into the restaurant. If we had seen it, we would have went somewhere else. Patricia was a great bartender both at the pool and restaurant. They need to utilize her people skills more. We had a great time over all, but I can honestly say I don't know if we will go back. Seems much easier (and probably cheaper) to go to a all inclusive in Mexico or just go to the lake closer to where we live.

Yelp
Edited to add : unfortunately after I made my original post our trip took a turn , just know that on the FAMILY side kids can not throw balls , jump , splash ect as it may disturb the adults who have no kids but want to be on the family side because it is " warmer ". Rules need to be put into place to prevent this from happening. Bob the security guard continued to come tell all families the kids needed to not be splashing water because of one adult male who refused to go to the adult side of the pool. We came here with our 5th wheel & I was skeptical because it is a bit pricey but I'm pleasantly surprised! Private beach access , super nice accommodations, swim up bar on the family side of the pool and adult side . Golf carts are super useful and they rent them out for $150 a day which I find to be pretty typical. I haven't left and I already want to come back.

Yelp
Very nice resort. Super clean and super friendly staff. The adult only swim up bar was wonderful.

Yelp
Bolivar beach club was so nice from when we first toured the place to see what it was all about. Then on a busy summer 2022 weekend, we reserved a cabana online and looked forward to our visit with a few musicians inlcding Matt Castillo. We didn't stay at the cabana much at all, it was more of a storage location. Because of the crowded time we arrived, I would totally reserve that cabana again to be sure we had "safe" place for our stuff. Wear your flip flops from area to area because the concrete is hot! Restrooms are upstairs so that's a small pain. Looking forward to visiting this place as a Margaritaville Camp! Should be same fun or maybe even MORE fun!

Yelp
Friendly staff, clean facilities, cool amenities.. We will definitely be returning to this one! I will say, this is very beach front price for not technically being beach front. It's surprisingly far from the beach if you're motorcoaching it without extra wheels. A golf cart is $150/day. Beautiful pool, great drinks, great restaurant. Perfectly kid friendly but not completely kid centered. We love it!

Yelp
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Camp Margaritaville in Crystal Beach, it was the best! From making last minute accommodations for us, food buffet that was terrific, they let us have the room two hours longer than requested due to an accident that prevented guests from arriving on time, they even extended invite to enjoy free pool time and offering us a free cabana- they were nothing short of amazing! They went above and beyond to make this event the best day for our family and friends!! Thank you so very much for everything! The staff was friendly and helped me every step of the way! I highly recommend any

Yelp
Great getaway spot visiting this area. The concerts are great and always fun. The bathrooms are kept top notch clean and staff are very friendly. Make this a regular visit....

Yelp
We rented a beach house in Bolivar and had a full morning/ half afternoon to kill before checking in so we decided to try the resort. First off, the prices are super high and the $150 cabana charge is insane. The cabanas don't have a fan or a server assigned to them, and it's the only way to get some shade as there are zero umbrellas available in the pool area. The drinks were decent, service was okay and there are a few activities for kids but not much else. I think it's ironic that they push you to rent the cabanas with the lack of shade elsewhere, as Jimmy died of an aggressive type of skin cancer, food for thought! I don't think we will ever make it a destination but if you happen to go during the week, their prices are more affordable. The cabanas go for $50 to $60 which is what they're worth since it's just a way to escape the scorching sun and nothing else. Also, no food or drinks allowed, not even water. Leave all travel cups as they do not let you bring them in. They provide you with plastic cups and a water dispenser at the bar. Overall, it could be much better but it's lacking a lot for the prices they charge on the weekends or holidays.

Yelp
The Pool Bar staff is second to none! After my first order, I never had to tell them what I wanted. As I walked up they had the order ready for me. That's what I call service. Love, love, love this place and I highly recommend!

Yelp
We had family in from Kansas and we rode the ferry to it at Finn's Bar and grill at Camp Margaritaville. We started with BBQ nachos and we had the Seafood Plate and the Grilled Shrimp Plate. The food was delicious and a great value. We have taken them this week to Pappas Seafood, Red River, Delta Blues, and she said her meal today at Finn's Bar and Grill was a little superior from the others. With your BAFL card we received a free appetizer and an additional 10% off. Great place for kids with all the activities. We did not know this, but park at the camp store and they shuttle you curbside to the restaurant.

Yelp
Tired of run down sketchy lookin parks that make you want to get a tetanus shot just in case? Want a place that lives up to the Margaritaville name? We've stayed twice this season and had a blast each time. Clean, upscale, and with great service. Ginormous pool and pool-bar... on-site GOOD restaurant and bar.... Arcade... live music with a real concert venue. You won't have any regrets going here.

Yelp
This resort is about 1 yr old. The property is beautiful. The pool area is gorgeous. We had drinks from the bar and food from the food truck. The bathhouse/restroom area was big and clean. We watched a movie outside in the evening on the turf....that was fun! Free popcorn for everyone! They also had other Halloween type activities including trick or treating while we were there. The sites are all paved and flat. They have wifi but no cable. You do get charged for a wrist band per day per person which is odd to me because I'm already paying for my site to stay there so you would think having access to the pool would be included. They also advertise you can rent a golf cart or bring your own....but just know you get charged to bring your own cart...which is odd. We have never paid at any other RV park to "park" our own cart on our site that we paid to stay in. There is private beach access you can walk to or drive your golf cart. So that part is great. Overall the place is super nice but just know that there are a lot of additional fees to stay here.

Yelp
We were there from Mon-Fri during Thanksgiving (2023). Our grandchildren enjoyed the scheduled craft activities, playground, and the bouncy dome. Food was also great. We were extremely disappointed with the fact that the pool was not heated during our stay, after being told it would be. There is no way that the heater was on. We chose to drive 3 hours for our grandchildren to swim in a heated pool. We would have stayed at the Camp Margaretiville only 30 minutes away from our house. Don't go thinking you will swim in a heated pool because you won't

Gigi C.

Yelp
No drinks allowed in kids play area, yet no where to purchase them. ‍ Pool area has no shade either, no umbrellas or tables. Not nearly enough chairs & they are looking at expanding. Maybe put in lockers or people's belongings? Another water area, like splash pad or pool? Entertainment area for camping capacity is already not enough for the weekends. Trying to find wait staff with any personality is a challenge as well. This was our first and will be our only trip.

Stephanie O.

Yelp
I have stayed 2 times as of date and the first time was great with my 2 kids because they are really quiet but my second trip was an adult trip only and it was supposed to be fun so that we could release before we had to return to the rat race of life ! but unfortunately y'all have lost a group of 5 trailers and 5 families because you made rules that we followed to the T but since we were there and you already had our money you get to pick and choose which customers are more important and not follow your own rules so sorry all of us won't be back after spendin over 3K with you no thanks !!!!

Yelp
Shiny and new but a bunch of "I'm better than you kens and Karen's" This place is full of a bunch of ppl that just come to get drunk and give other campers a hard time. I Will not return. I tried calling the camp over 15 times to check in on Wednesday. Finally some rando security person answered and gave me a site number. Still have not seen anyone over the age of 18 that looks like they are in charge here. The email I was sent stated we could get our paperwork at some nondescript location by the pool. (Two days later still can't find it) The restaurant is super slow and drinks are over priced. Yeah, the surroundings are beautiful but it's not really not worth the headache. Can't believe I spent two hours trying to get across the ferry only to be treated like trash at this over priced "resort".

Yelp
I never noticed how many RV parks were around until COVID hit but I'd have to say this one tops them all. It's new, clean, and crisp. The owners thought of everything from stuff for adults, kids, even down to your pets. The sites are spacious, the restrooms are super clean and modern, there's even a gym to get a quick workout in. We rented a cabana and hung out during the day poolside. Convenient how there's a swim up bar to grab water or drinks to enjoy without ever having to get out of the pool. We were able to grab some food from the food trucks throughout the day. We topped off the night enjoying a concert. Cody Canada and the Departed were awesome. The weather was perfect to sit out at night listening to music next to the cool breeze. The kids were able to play on the turf with the other guests kids as adults sipped on drinks from the full bar. All the staff were professional and friendly. Loved how this randomly popped up. Definitely nothing like it in Galveston. I wouldn't mind coming for a day pass at the pool to then catch live music afterwards. A perfect staycation that's just a ferry ride away.

Yelp
Just spoke to Donna in the front office to make a new reservation. Donna was VERY ACCOMMODATING and told us about specials/promos. Updating this place to a 5 star rating. Great place for us to take our mini vacations! We stayed three more nights, and love it! Restarant has awesome food, and friendly service!!!

Yelp
this place is A#1 first-class! gorgeous grounds, pool and facilities. the restaurant is great and staff were so nice. right next to a beautiful beach. doesn't get much better!

Yelp
Everyone was very nice. All the facilities were exceptionally clean. The only thing I will say is we got a poolside cabana and typically you receive a server and we did not have one. The resorts agenda said poolside service was offered beginning at noon but we never saw a server. However, everything was so nice I still give 5 stars!

Robyn M.

Yelp
Best experience! Amber was so nice and accommodating- set up and food was all great will definitely be back

Star S.

Yelp
It was very under staffed. Took way to long to get a drink and when we were able to get a drink it was way over priced. Not including. Under age drinking. I know this because my friends 19 yr old son was served a beer without being ID. After swimming we ended up with some sort of rash. I was so looking forward to staying there and now I will never stay again.

Yelp
I loved this place! It was great! My kids had a blast. They have activities for the kids and adults can enjoy their drink in the pool with their kid. It's great for singles too. Clean bathrooms, the food was great too. You order from the bar and they get it from their food truck. It was surprisingly very good easy food. Drinks are not expensive in my opinion. The staff are friendly and eager to help if needed. It's a little pricey to get in. It would be nice if they offered weekend passes instead of day passes. It's a nice change of pace from being on the beach all week. So we loved that we came. I do recommend it to everyone.

Yelp
We attended one of the grand opening concerts, Cody Canada and The Departed over Memorial Day weekend. This entire place is going to be amazing when it is completed. I'm impressed with the vision it took to imagine an RV park, massive swimming pool, beautiful event center with a massive stage and all the other amenities. The concert was fairly well attended considering the lack of time to properly promote. Of course Cody did not disappoint playing lots of newer stuff as well as hits from CCR. We rented a VIP Lounge in the edge of the general admission seating and it was the perfect place to take in the show. Wait staff kept drinks full and overall the staff were timely and courteous. Two food trucks put out some awesome food, with a full scale restaurant opening soon. When you consider all the moving parts involved in this massive undertaking it's not hard to be blown away. You need to check this place out. We will be regulars for sure!

Adam B.

Yelp
Very nice RV park but could use a few improvements to be 5 star. Pool is nice but hot tubs don't work and plaster is stained and not clean looking. There is also a ton of rules. I understand places have rules but the rules here seem excessive for an RV park. We were constantly getting fussed at by a Karen for parking our golf cart somewhere or bring a drink here etc. Place is pretty expensive to have to deal with those things. Pool bartenders were great, pool food was decent and the prices at the pool were reasonable. The campsites are very nice as well.
