We expected this place to be exceptional, but it only turned out to be an average place to stay, with some major disappointments. Margaritaville is located in a great location with easy access to the beach and the town nearby. When talking with staff you were told everything you want, but when the time comes, they have changed your lot location, staff, for the propane will not be in for another hour, there are only six washers and dryers for the whole camp and if you want to wash your clothes or use the shower bathrooms, they are on the second floor with an elevator that has been out of order since December, it doesn’t take a couple months to fix an elevator. I would have thought that would be against American disabilities act how is a disabled person to get up the stairs to the showers, laundry and restrooms? We are leaving on Thursday morning and wanted to fill our propane so we ask on Tuesday and Wednesday when the person to fill propane would be in and we were told 8 AM both days. Thursday morning we were at the propane tank and when we went to the store, we were told that they would not be in for another hour 9 AM to fill the propane. Our friends booked a lot months ago so they would be next to some of their friends that we’re staying for three months from December through March. When they got to the camp, they were told they couldn’t give them the lot that they were told they had and put them at the opposite side of the camp. They received an email apologizing, but did not offer any compensation. We made reservations in December and ended up adding five days to our stay. We were told we would have the same lot but when we got to the camp, they had changed the lot number and gave us a different lot several streets away from their original spot. Looking through all the reviews at the resort, I see one thing in common, they always apologize, but never offer any type of compensation.
