Stopped by for dinner tonight. I’ve been looking forward to coming here for a while. Started with a soup each, French onion and the soup of the day, steak and potato. Both were amazing. Might be the best restaurant French onion I’ve ever had. Steak and potato was great, thick creamy and tasty. Both 9/10. For our entrees I got the shepherds pie by recommendation of our server. Shelby got the lemon artichoke chicken. The shepherds pie was perfect. How it should be. Gravy was on point. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Beef seasoned well. And potatoes are delicious. 9/10. The chicken was also delicious. The capers and artichoke came out in the flavor more than I’m used to but it wasn’t a bad thing. 8.5/10. Service was a solid 10/10. We will definitely be back. 9/10 overall.

Had an amazing 🧊 Igloo Dinner with a group of friends. It's a really fun experience. 🙂 The food was great! We had the Ribeye Swiss Dip 🥖🥩, the Jerk Chicken Pasta, Cheeseburgers, and the Firecracker Shrimp 🍤. The drinks were great too🥂 I recommend their Cherry 🍒 Michigan Mule.

Everything was fantastic. Loud atmosphere. Buffalo meatballs were outstanding. Venison chili was cooked a little too long or sat too long. The meat was a little grainy and broken down but still great flavor overall. Roasted redskins were underdone needed to be a little softer. The cowboy Mac and cheese was fantastic, but the bacon on it should be well done and crunchy. It was almost raw. French fries were the best. I will definitely be back.

All I can say is WOW! I had my baby shower there today and Zach and Rosa took care of us. They were the absolute BEST team we could have asked for, they went above and beyond for us. Beyond serving and bartending, Zach helped us unload and load our car, hang decorative banners and Rosa was helping us brainstorm how to make the best of the space and was very sweet to make sure everything was timed out just how we wanted it! The food was absolutely delicious, too! We got the lunch buffet and would highly recommend that to anyone considering booking a party here! Also a big thank you to the managers, Pip and Tim who helped to make our party perfect and were so accommodating! Thank you to the awesome Camp Ticonderoga staff!

Although we didn’t get sat right on our reservation time, I’m not sure what you expect on Christmas Eve. There were short staffed and some people just don’t have the Christmas spirit. Linda needs a reality check, the world doesn’t revolve around you. This place is great! Food is amazing and Derek handle the problems like a champ!

Rustic Up North charm in Metro Detroit. Big blazing fireplace, lots of animal trophies on the log walls. Salmon entree was delicious.

We recently had an event here for 60 people. Our original venue cancelled on us 4 days before the event. Camp Ticonderoga was available and we booked them 3 days out from the event. They could not have been more accommodating! We had numerous people calling, visiting and asking questions in one day because of the nature of timing. The staff, specifically the manager was wonderful, patient and calm. Despite the stress of the situation we are so happy this happened and feel as if the event was meant to happen here. The space was beautiful! The staff was incredible- the bartenders and servers were specifically AMAZING! Everyone talked about how delicious the food was! The manager even prepared a plate of appetizers she knew I specifically had asked for. We are so grateful to Camp Ticonderoga for how they helped us make our event happen, eased our stress and did it with smiles. We highly recommend and will use them again if we ever have an event we need a space for.

I indulged a trip to Camp Ticonderoga after 20 or so years. I had heard that the food was better than previously. I live in Richmond & my wife and I met my sister and her husband from West Bloomfield I should stress that it was my idea to go there. I’m so glad that I enjoyed dinner so much less than my companions, because it was my idea to go there. My mashed potatoes were cold. My sister‘s husband asked for some bread to accompany his meal, and was told there was none in the back; when he asked for a roll of the type his wife had with her meal, the waiter said something about how it would upset the routine in the kitchen. That, along the wait for the drinks at the beginning of the meal, I have to say that the service was pretty substandard. The only thing we really did not have to wait for was the check at the end of the meal. I am mystified as to why there were so many people in that restaurant last night. There are so many good restaurants in Rochester/Troy that the folks in the restaurant (Who most likely live in the area) had to drive past, in order to get there. Meanwhile, I am so glad that I got this out of my system. There is not much danger of seeing me ever again in this place.

Yelp
Love the new drink options and the food quality has improved greatly! Avery was our server and did amazing.

Yelp
Recently under new ownership but I thought the food was better than I remember it being in the past. Interior looks the same, service is iffy but fine. We had the French onion soup (amazing), the Maurice salad (not a very nice looking plate but so good), and 2 steaks (1 overcooked, 1 undercooked). For dessert, our friend who recently had a birthday got a free cookie sundae which was simple and delicious, we also shared a crème brûlée cheesecake which was amazing. A little bit pricey but a solid option for night owls since they're open til 11 on weekdays

Yelp
Not sure what happened to this place. It used to be great - wild game, interesting options, well cooked? I tasted my way around the table tonight with my dining companions after hearing their unhappiness. Jerk chicken pasta - somebody got excited with the nutmeg (and also the sugar). Nutmeg was the only flavour in this dish. Well, maybe there were some nuances I missed, but it was impossible between the nutmeg. I'm pretty sure the gravy on the buffalo meatloaf (which was great by the way) was powdered. The green beans were properly cooked and fresh. ...for the worst bit, I'll just leave a single picture. It was ordered as a "ribeye, medium rare." I'm pretty sure it was freaking boiled. Other reviewers mention new owners? Either way, you've lost another four that previously loved the work of your namesake.

Yelp
We have visited this establishment many times prior and always been five stars . We made reservations for 5:30 Christmas Eve. The employee at the hostess stand, said they were triple booked so we would have to wait a little while. Finally sat down at 6, escorted up stairs , which they generally don't have seating she said only for catered events Our waiter asked for our patience , he said the kitchen was way behind and not enough bartender's . he also said it's hard because he has to go up two flights of stairs to bring everything. We had two children with us under the age of seven and were finally served our meal at 8:30, which mostly was cold and underwhelming . They no longer serve a muffin with the Maurice salad. He told us it was because of food cost. ‍ He apologized, but it should've been brought to management's attention how long we waited and should've been compensated or offered a free plate of cookies, especially for the children , whom had very cold noddles I understand that they have new management and menus service has changes accordingly . Won't be back .

Yelp
Review of Camp Ticonderoga on Rochester Rd in Troy. This is Oakland county. No pictures, sorry. Atmosphere: 9/10. It is a beautiful old lodge with tongue and groove paneling, fireplaces and cute rustic vibe. Service: 2.5/10. We arrived and no one was at the hostess stand. We waited about 3 minutes before an old woman came because the phone was ringing off the hook. I said we were 3 and please no hi-top since one was handicapped. She snapped at me and said they don't have hi-tops. Well, from the door where we were standing all we could see was a HI-TOP! She very grumpily led us to a table. I asked if we could more closer to the fireplace and she was very angry and said it was for a 10 top. Um, the table sat 4 and there were open tables everywhere. We weren't even on the same level as the fireplace. So I wasn't sure what the problem was. During our time there, she stomped around like a bull in a China shop. She moved a table without clearing it, dropping the centerpiece and there was broken glass everywhere. She snapped at another patron that was trying to help her pick up the metal pieces. After we had eaten, they were still not busy, she came to us and said how are we doing on time? She wants the table for a request. Again, there were open tables all around us, even if there was a larger party, there were 5 open tables around us. The hostess gets 0/10. She should not be doing that job. Our server gets 5/10. He got the job done. Nothing special. Just the bare minimum. Food: 8/10. There were 3 of us. We each got the French onion soup which was rather blah. It was not rich, nor did it have a lot of onion. It needed seasoning for sure. Glad there was salt on the table. Two of us had the Maurice salad. It came with a muffin which was excellent. I had never had one before and thought it was very good. The other person thought it was good, but not as good as Macy's used to have. My husband ordered the Bison burger. He said it was cooked properly, but it was just OK. They serve it without any kind of dressing. He asked and received a side of homey mustard and that made it better. The homemade fries were quite good. Overall 6/10. Would I go back? Probably not for a long time. I expect better service in an establishment of that caliber.

Yelp
I think we are all familiar with this place, whether it's because we've driven by it, heard of it or saw it on Yelp. I finally said "fine, I'll go here!!!" yesterday to see what everyone's talking about. It's backed up to a golf course, so I can only imagine it might have been started for the golfers to come in and get hammered at, if they've already not done that while golfing. Parkings mixed in with the golf course, so be prepared to park far away. It most definitely has a cabin feel to it, and I loved the feel. But I also felt like it was more of a bridal shower/baby shower/random event space versus a dine in type place. I don't dislike it, but considering how much the food cost and how I felt about the food afterwards, it didn't seem to really match up. The menus decent enough with a variety of items to choose from, but for, on average, $20 a person, I felt like it was maybe a bit overpriced. My friend didn't like her soup, and for $8.50, my French Onion soup was good, but probably not house made, and on the smaller end. Service was good, but I also felt like the quality of food for the price could've been better for the cost. I think they have filet Mignon here, for a whopping $41. Soup and a burger was what I got, and that was about $22 something plus tip. I don't want to sound like a cheap person, because I'm not, but I've had similar priced meals and walked away feeling more satisfied then I did here. More of a suburbanite post golf, boomer place if you ask me.

Yelp
Everything could improve! The food was good, not excellent! It was disappointing! The service was ok, below average unfortunately! No one at hostess stand, then a gal showed up and was quite abrupt. Waiter acted like he was a bartender also. They were NOT busy and yet running around like they were. The free birthday dessert was very nice!

Steve T.

Yelp
Took my beautiful wife on a date night. This was our first time to this restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and up north cabin look, but that's about it. The French onion soup was good and the Maurice salad was average. I ordered the cowboy Mac and cheese, it should have been called noodles and bbq pork as there was ZERO cheeses in it on it, and it was cold. The waitress took it back and brought out a new dish, but unfortunately that was cold as well, so it was sent back a second time. At that point I told her not the bother bringing another one. The waitress was apologetic and took it off the bill. First and last time we will go to this place

Yelp
This is a review of their dining in one of their igloos. I have done this the last few winters with the Meetup group I belong. But to get one, you have to reserve it in August because the days and time slots fill up quickly. You have to leave your credit card number and promise that your group will spend $250 in food and drinks. 10 people fit around the table. They do have a couple of heaters and blankets if needed. Dressing normal winter warm clothes and don't sit near the door, you will be fine. One of the servers have to adjust the heater. Food is still good but average. All liked their choices, but we had to ask for a bread basket which use to come out with out asking. Service is what you expect when there is a 2 hr. time limited on the dinner. The place was sold last summer to a new owner but not much has changed. Close parking is still tight but it is a short walk to the large parking area. I will probably be back next winter with the group. It one of our traditions that is popular with our members.

Yelp
The Camp Ti cookies used to be the best. New ownership, now they are store bought. More expensive (3 for $9) and they are pretty bad. Too bad. That was a staple for the restaurant. Other than that, all dinners were good.

Bri V.

Yelp
We came here for my birthday dinner. We wanted to try it after driving by several times. We were sat by the window and were able to watch the golfers, which was fun. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which came out very hot! It was very delicious and even had tomatoes on top. I ordered the lemon artichoke chicken, which was also very delicious! I wish it came with a little more sauce because the sauce was so good. I ordered mashed potatoes with it and the plate came with roasted potatoes, but they fixed it quickly. Everyone else also enjoyed their food. They surprised me with cookies for my birthday dessert! The cookies were amazing! They were hot and gooey, not too sweet and a little bit salty. Overall we had a great time, I took away one star since the service was a little slow. We were there for almost 2 hours, but it was a Saturday night at 6:00 and we had a party of 7.

R. P.

Yelp
Decided to try this place after pasing it by over the years. We walked in and the staff are arguing in front of us while we waited to be ackowledged. We were the only table in the entire place and service was extremely slow for some reason. Ordered cocktails and it looked like the glasses were never washed. They were filthy. We ordered appetizers. The steak bites were cold and they forgot the bread that came with it. Brussel sprouts were the best thing of the night and even they were not satisfying. The highlight of the experience was when the staff had a full-blown shouting match across the room that almost got physical. It was intense and this was happening the entire time we were there. Our bill came and they overcharged us for the appetizers and then they couldn't figure out how to correct it. Disappointing experience and will not be coming back.

Sarah S.

Yelp
I used to LOVE this place. So sad and disappointed to see it go down so quickly. They went up in price, down in service and took the muffins and breads away . They used to give you a plate of cookies for celebrations (charging is fine) BUT $5 for ONE cookie??! They also changed vendors the Maurice' is not the same anymore!! So so sad about this one

David G.

Yelp
SERVICE UGH. Food was subpar too. This place used to be great. So downhill. Server was the slowest I've seen. Food was room temp at best. So sad they went downhill so quick. The server had to be asked to take away our dirty plates after two trips got the table. Then pushed past us to clear as we were standing to leave. LOL. Won't be going back. Again. Was a great place. Now not worth the money at all

Kat T.

Yelp
The restaurant is located on a golf course. It has a nice covered patio. Food is typical bistro fare. The interior is designed to look like a lodge of hunting camp. When you walk in you see a wall of dog pictures. I assume the owners must be dog lovers . Not a bad place to grab dinner or lunch. Prices are what you'd expect for a bar/golf course restaurant.

Yelp
First of all, the people that work here are awesome! Our waiter was great and took great care of us. Everyone else, from the hostess to the people who brought out the food were so nice. The decor was really nice too. But the food.....not so good. Started with a French onion soup, it was nothing special. But the perch entree was just awful! 4 small pieces of thin, DRY fish. It was incredibly bad. The beans it came with were nice, but with that fish anything was good! The plate also came with a ton of fries, which were fine, but I still can't get over how bad the fish was, thankfully there was very little of it. My wife's Caesar salad was bland according to her. We didn't complain but our awesome waiter comped us out to go carrot cake we ordered. The piece we got, which according to the menu was $10, was incredibly small and looked funny. I felt uneasy about trying to it because it looked so strange. My forkful was not good. I know this place is under new ownership, and we LOVE its old sister restaurant Moose Preserve, but this experience was a huge disappointment.

Yelp
Short version: total debacle! When told the wait is 20-30 minutes for a table, how do people wait well over an hour and end up walking out? Answer: horribly inept management. Long version: We came in at 5:30 Saturday night and were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait to be seated for a table of three. There were three or four parties ahead of us and the restaurant was filled to capacity. After over an hour of waiting my husband asked the hostess where we were on the list because no one had updated us and now the entire waiting area and bar area were filled with people waiting for tables and we noticed that people were being seated ahead of us when they had arrived to the restaurant long after we had arrived. She told him they were so backed up they had to take reservations before we would be seated and didn't know where that would put us on the list! So instead of moving UP THE LIST over an hour, we actually MOVED DOWN THE LIST the longer we waited!! I went to the hostess stand and asked to speak to the manager. As I waited for the "manager" to show up, another woman, who had a 6:15 reservation and had been waiting over half an hour, asked where they were on the list. The hostess told her they were next. The VERY KIND woman told me that we could take her table (we had chatted earlier while waiting and she knew we had a child with us and that we had been waiting well over an hour at that point). I told her I appreciated the offer (!), but I didn't want her party to be penalized, so I declined. Basically I just wanted to talk to the "manager" to see why we were being bumped (HORRIBLE POLICY!!) and to find out how much longer we would have to wait if we chose to stick around (we were SO HUNGRY!). About five minutes later a tall guy, presumably the "manager" Tim, came over to where I and quite a few others were waiting by the hostess stand, and he started pointing at me in a menacing way, yelling, "You need to stop yelling at my hostess! She's in the bathroom crying! Some people don't like to wait but that's just the way it is!" And I said, "What??? I just asked to talk to you! Can I talk to you?" And he literally turned his back on me and stormed away like a child, leaving all of us bewildered because most of the people around the hostess stand witnessed everything that was said between me, the hostess and the kind woman. I asked some women who had been standing there if I had been mean or out of line in any way to the hostess (I have worked in restaurants, I know the hostess is not the one responsible for horrible management!) and they said that I was fine, calm with my request to speak to the manager and was not out of line, but because the wait was so long and there had been NO UPDATES on the status of the list, people had been constantly (and sometimes angrily) asking the hostess about their tables over the last 45 minutes (how long those women had been standing there) so I must have been the final straw. Needless to say, I feel bad that the hostess had to be the one to manage an awful situation because of totally incompetent management. Inexcusable that walk-ins were being told the wait would be 20-30 minutes (there were literally three parties ahead of us when we got on the list!) when the entire restaurant was 100% filled at 5:30 pm. Someone screwed up royally (not the hostess, of that I'm sure!) and, instead of taking responsibility for it and dealing with the customers in a competent and adult way, Tim the "manager" acted like a total jerk and ruined many people's night. Obviously, we will not go back and risk another ruined evening!

Erica M.

Yelp
This was our first time here and it was amazing. Our waitress Kristina was so kind and gave us the best recommendations!

Amanda T.

Yelp
Where do you start? I had came here years ago with friends and then a friend had her rehearsal dinner here. So not a regular but enough to know what I thought I was getting into. This has Moose Preserve style written all over it.. just more dusty. The interior needed some updating.. Even as a comfy cabin type restaurant, it needed a good cleaning. Onto the food. I got a Maurice since that seems to be my thing lately. It was ok. We also got the meatloaf. Again, just ok. Nothing fantastic about the meal. I even tried to round out my dinner with creme brûlée.. (I always ask if I can tap, tap, tap on the top-- iykyk. It did, one small tap. Total disappointment. One word for this visit: Unimpressed. Glad to try it again. Probably/hopefully not ever again.

Yelp
They overbooked on Christmas Eve. We stayed 30 minutes after our reservation and there were still other parties waiting ahead of us. They only had one bartender (who was very good) but way understaffed.

Yelp
Camp Ticonderoga is a cool place. I love the lodge vibe of the restaurant and the menu reflects that same with things like Buffalo, salmon, steaks, and I think even venison. The food is good. I've ate there many times. Most recent visit I had the Maurice salad which was excellent. I think the prices are fair and the staff is friendly Although I've never sat outside, they have a nice outdoor patio area too. The restaurant sits on a golf course so the view is very nice. It's not the best restaurant you'll ever eat at but it's just kind of a neat place to go

Nawana L.

Yelp
I visited Camp Ticonderoga with a group of ladies from work and truly enjoyed everything. The food, the service, the ambiance, everything. We will plan to come back soon, I heard it's even more enjoyable in the summer months.

Marie B.

Yelp
Excellent walleye dinner. Wait staff amazing! Will be returning. An extensive menu with many options.

Cathy M.

Yelp
Our waitress, Mary was amazing with our party of 23. Our drinks came out at the same time and all of the food was served in a timely matter.

Anne R.

Yelp
There aren't many places where you can get this much log cabin ambiance and great room ceiling height and fireplaces for a casual dinner, so this is always a standout spot for me. Aside from the cozy Grand cabin ambiance, the food is delish and fresh with a great local and seasonal beer selection on draft at all times. The food themes definitely lean toward the wild hunt category with options like venison chili and bison burger. However, there are options for vegetarians as well, but don't try to push too far into the vegan category unless you just want to stick with salad and beer (vegans still drink fermented yeast microbes, right?!) Great for a date, after work drink by the fire, or indulgent gooey chocolate chip cookies to share with friends as a night cap. Give the kitchen some time- this isn't fast food- it's freshly made.

Denise W.

Yelp
Amazing event venue! We had our son and future daughter in law's wedding shower here! It was amazing! Their coordinator was so helpful and kept in contact right up to the event. Food was great (we did a breakfast buffet) our bartender Ken was just amazing! He took care of everything from helping us set up, getting drinks to clearing tables. Can't say enough good things! We will definitely be back for any other events we have!!

Melissa D.

Yelp
We have gone to CT for over ten years. However, the service has gone downhill. Tonight, the staff sat us on the patio during a storm warning. When we asked to move to an inside table, we were told we would have to wait an hour over the 20 minutes we'd already waited, despite the fact that there were multiple empty tables and no line. We had called ahead because we were a group of 11 but were told we they don't take reservations on Sunday and to just come in and wait in the standby line, but then when we arrived were treated like our party size was a problem. When it started STORMING we asked again to be moved indoors to one of the multiple empty tables where -- coincidentally -- they sat other smaller groups from the patio. We had 2 babies with us and felt the patio during a lightening storm was unsafe. I asked to speak the manager, who refused to reseat us indoors. She told us we were welcome to wait but it could be up to an hour (?!) despite there being only one group remaining in line. I asked for her name, she refused to give it. I asked the greeter what the manager's name was and was told she didn't know. We left and went to a different restaurant where we spent over $300 for our large group. We will not be bringing our business back to CT for the foreseeable future, if at all. We love supporting small independent restaurants but the service today at CT was absolutely appalling.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We recently had dinner here. The outdoor patio is always a great place to sit and see out over the golf course. Mary S. was our server and she was awesome. She was very helpful and delivered great service. The food was delicious as always. And the chocolate chip cookies for dessert are a must!

Megan C.

Yelp
Although a beautiful venue, I'd skip this for any shower or party type event. My friend booked her shower here months and months ago. Upon agreement, the manager (at the time, because they seemed to have gone through quite a few in just a short time!) reassured her that if she wanted to order custom sugar cookies to serve to her guests, as long as they were in a sealed wrapper, they'd be allowed. Well, we get to the shower day, and the new manager (because of course the manager she spoke to originally no longer works there) said she'd be charged if anybody opened the cookies because they make cookies there. So, hundreds of dollars spent on cookies for her shower only to have to tell the guests they cannot eat them while in attendance. The manager made sure to pop in several times during the shower to make sure too. Overall, it's not worth the hassle because the manager you make your agreement with likely won't be there by the time your event comes. You're much better off elsewhere.

Yelp
Camp Ti feels like a member of the family. The food is consistently good and the service has always been terrific, even during COVID. I always get the Maurice salad and Brussels sprouts, which never disappoint. The Turkey Reuben is always great, too. Their mac and cheese is some of the best I've ever had!

Amy L.

Yelp
They used to have the best turkey dinners on Sundays!! It was real turkey....now it seems like it is processed.... They also had the best cornbread stuffing, now it seems as If it's stove top. Very disappointing. Sad considering it was our favorite spot on Sundays

Yelp
We hosted a baby shower for 65 people this past Sunday in the fabulous upstairs space and it was perfect from start to finish! Management was great to work with through the planning stage. On the day of our servers Sean a

Yelp
At the beginning of February my family went here for a new experience..the Igloo. Never did it before and I was curious. Well we had " the Monkey Business" Igloo. It was so enjoyable, so intimate...Greg was our waiter. He was amazing. Food was great. There were 8 of us and we all ordered something different. Everyone loved their choices. So yesterday my gal pals were meeting there. Same igloo. It was equally as good. It was comfortable, delightful, food and drink was great. Kenny gave us great service, easily accommodating our friend that needs gluten free. Everything was wonderful. If you want to meet up with your family or friends and have a quiet evening, great food and drink this is the place. It's special! Jan

Yelp
While the food was good, the service was terrible! After waiting over 15 minutes for wait staff, I had to tell the hostess that we had not even been acknowledged. After that, it was still another 5 minutes before the waitress showed up. Then we waited another 10 minutes for our beverage after ordering. Mind you, the restaurant was not very busy and there were several wait staff walking around. Nobody even looked our way to notice we had not been served. After dinner, the waitress did not come by to see how our meal was or if we needed anything. (Are we invisible?) Then I had to go get her at the bar, where she was doing nothing, to get her to bring over our bill. Never again for me. Inconsiderate staff.

Yelp
while the food was good the service leaves something to be desired. Waitstaff was not very friendly or cordial. Atmosphere felt like they were doing you a great favor by servicing your table. The gentleman that actually delivered the food was friendly but the female server actually servicing our table left something to be desired. Not once to my recollection did she say thank you. It was us that said thank you repeatedly for getting menus, taking our orders etc. Seems it should be the other way around! Very wobbly table that couldn't be "fixed" by wedging something under an uneven leg. She could have cared less. Said she thought it should be fine. And it was as long as you never rested a hand or arm on the table! Lol! Would not be my preferred location to return to. Would only do so if location was most convenient to meet up with friends. Would never go back on my own. Too many other choices out there.

Yelp
We had a reservation on Easter Sunday afternoon for 12 for our family. Seated upstairs. Really irritating a table that was seated after us was served before us. It took an hour to just be served our dinner, very ordinary overcooked dishes and over 1-1/2 hours later we had to request check - don't recommend this place for holiday dinner that's for certain. Too little staff and poor quality.

Yelp
Been many times, always enjoy the burgers and the service AND the course view. We'll be going back

Yelp
This restaurant is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. It has new ownership and management so there are growing pains. While the main menu has remained the same, the quality of the food has changed for the worse. Most of the waitstaff have changed and are inexperienced. Weekend evenings are the worst. The ambiance is still cozy with two fireplaces and dead animals on the walls . There are two igloos on the patio during the colder months which can be reserved. This is unfortunate for regulars like me.

Yelp
Interesting choice of covering the walleye with a thick layer of cheesy potato chip crust. Even though the crust was seasoned, the fish itself was not. So if you are like me who didn't care much for cheesy potato chips and preferred to enjoy the fish on its own, you'll be disappointed. Green beans were perfectly cooked though! Chocolate cake dessert was good too.

Yelp
Good service, some game inspired options, everyone's food was cooked well. I had the bbq ribs, they were saucy, tender, delicious. Fair prices.

Yelp
Amazingly, they ran out of TURKEY! In fairness, they were SLAMMED! The service was amazing, and the seating was FAST! We will be going here again!

Yelp
Came in with friends for dinner. Our orders took a long time to come out (2 apologies from server, she was trying). Food finally came and my prime rib, ordered medium rare, was brownish gray...no pink. I asked for another and was told they were out. After over 45 minutes, they sent out my alternate meal, a steak. Our table was all finished eating so they brought it in a bag. I asked to talk to management. He took another 1/2 hour to show up. I told him he should have come out sooner. He said to me "You have a bad attitude ". Not joking, his exact words. He started to go into a wah-wah litany of his problems that night. What a jerk. I was giving them a second chance but NEVER AGAIN.

Yelp
I always felt like this was a staple restaurant in our community; but has anyone else seen a difference in the last few months? The employees always seemed like it was a blast to work there. The managers always came by the table to ask how our meal was. I haven't seen any of this in a while. Pretty sad! I hope whatever morale problem that's going on there gets lifted; so it's a great dining experience for us and them. I never write negative reviews; but it's becoming depressing. Thanks for listening

Yelp
Oh my goodness did we love this place. Enjoyed a cozy Valentine's Day dinner here; perfect, wintery ambiance that gave us the vibe like we weren't even in Michigan. I ordered the salmon, my boyfriend ordered a bison-meat loaf monstrosity that took him 3 meals to finish off. It's awesome when the food is a good price, and there's still leftovers from a heart meal. The staff was very friendly. We can't wait to go back! P.S. they do their own house version of a Bloody Mary (Bloody Moose) and did that make me feel all warm and wonderful inside. It's a MUST order if you're a Bloody Mary fan.

Yelp
Love their French onion soup - delicious. Had the perch dinner which was good but it was breaded and fried. I prefer sautéed. If you're wanting a holiday atmosphere they definitely achieved it with all their decorations throughout the restaurant. Service was a little slow but in their defense it was extremely busy. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I haven't been here in years, maybe 20(?) so I forgot what it was like. My friend suggested to try here so we did. We were super hungry so we ordered quite a bit: soup, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Each dish was really great - The spinach artichoke dip didn't come with a lot of dip, but it came with a ton of Bavarian rye bread and tortilla chips. My French onion soup was great, not a lot of onions but the broth was wonderful. My friend loved her Brie Allie sandwich. Also, on specials: the stuffed peppers and churros, the stuffed peppers, came with three peppers stuffed with rice and meat. It was so filling, I had to take two home! The churros were filled with Nutella and were to die for. My server was pleasant. I'd come back for lunch!

Yelp
I loved the ambiance, looked like a northern hunting lodge theme. Our waiter was attentive, prompt and explained meal options very well. The food and drinks were amazing, and prices were reasonable for the quality of meals we got. I would highly recommend visiting.
