I've really tried to like this place, This was our third visit and the food is just not up to par. The meat is just lacking flavor no matter what meat it is you order. It also seems pre cooked, frozen, and then when reheating it overcooks to the meat. The dessert Apple cobbler too was either frozen or just solid as a rock. And then they charged $6 extra for using a credit card. It's a shame cause the staff there is really great.

Went there Christmas Eve. A gastro pub with surprisingly good food options and great boozy cocktails. Tomato Soup was good. We tried the Campagne Sampler and liked all of the offerings that were paired with excellent sauces. The Apple Crumble with Vanilla ice cream was an excellent dessert. The service was excellent and we had a good conversation with the bartender. The atmosphere was quiet maybe due to Christmas Eve.

I ate outside at Campagne House in Bethpage N.Y. This time at regular lunch hours and not brunch. The egg cheese and chicken were over cooked. But the bacon was crispy as I had requested. The so said dark thigh was a piece of fried breaded white meat. The pineapple juice was warm but they did add ice which quickly melted. The potatoes were good. I had to get up and ask for ketchup. I was disappointed compared to my first visit of delicious Brunch, but I didn’t have enough energy to complain. So I picked it apart and ate.

I went here with my family after a long day of moving and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The atmosphere is cozy - we sat inside - but the outdoor dining patio/courtyard looked very elegant and inviting aswell. The satay sampler was amazing and a great value for the price. We also had the nachos which were some of the best I've ever had. The oktoberfest specials menu was intriguing and the spicy margaritas was awesome. My brother had the BBQ platter which was delicious. Other favorites were the duck and the cesear salad. Our server was pleasant and we will certainly be returning.

The food was excellent! There is love music on the bar side, which was full and tables and booths on the restaurant side that could enjoy the music but not be overwhelmed by it. The Spinach Artichoke Lobster was AMAZING 👏

Bartenders are wonderful but the owners/managers are not. Was at the bar Tuesday late afternoon and heard the female owner/manager talking about politics loudly and saying disgusting things about people with autism (basically supporting RFK Jr statements). I shouldn’t have been too surprised as they have posted a $100bill with trumps face on it behind The bar. While food is ok it’s not worth giving money to an establishment that doesn’t respect ALL humans

I love this place. I come here often for lunch or to unwind after work. The place is great. Great atmosphere, clean, great service from a great and friendly staff, along with wonderfully prepared food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was traveling for work so no cocktails for me but I want to come back here for brunch. We sat outside. Great ambiance. Our server was *spot on* with recommendations. There were fried pickles to start. Crispy and not quartered but slices. This is a non issue for me but one of my dining companions mentioned this and it makes sense so yes. fried pickle slices are superior to fried pickle spears . Then I had the duck. Rather, i became overwhelmed with choice, told the waitress I had narrowed it down to 2 and essentially deputized her to choose for me. And that for funsies, she could "make it a surprise". Reader, if you find a food and beverage person whom you trust, I advise you to try this. It was perfect. Zero buyer's remorse. Great duck. Great choice. Great server. There was no dessert because of time constraints. I'll get one when I come for brunch.

Yelp
I don't know how this place has a 4-star review. I went there and was not impressed. It seems like, if you're going to call yourself a gastropub, which is what drew me in, you should have not just good food, but amazing food. Adding "gastropub" to your name is like making a promise that you won't just be eating a meal, you'll be having an experience. That being said, the service was very friendly. I liked the servers very much. Service was a tad slow, but they made up for it with personality. I interacted with three people there, and they were all very pleasant. The place was nice and clean. There were other groups there dining. Okay, so... the food. I ordered the Tomato Bisque soup, and the Cuban Slide sandwich. The soup was kind a bit bitter, and so thick I could use it as wallpaper paste. The Cuban Sandwich, and up until now, I had never met one I didn't like, had too much aioli on one side, and too little on the other (the side with too little was better for it). The "oven roasted pork" on the sandwich was more towards oven cremated. It had bits so overcooked they were crunchy. I'm sorry. I don't like leaving a bad review. When I saw the words "gastropub", I had high hopes. I won't be back to this place. Sorry, Campagne House

Yelp
Campagne House in Bethpage NY on Broadway is a local bar restaurant that has a long family and town history. Today a Sunday was this year's Bethpage street fair. (see seperate review for booths and items sold there) I stopped in at 2:30 (brunch closes at 3) I sat in their outside area which is fenced in with a gate Exit to the street has colorful umbrellas and pitina decor including an old small mailbox. ( see pix) Inside, I noted a sign with dates of Live Music, the bar to the side , tables and chairs and the bathroom. I stopped into their bathroom and washed my hands. Then I ordered a meal from a kind and acurate server Joe. Steak and eggs, toast and potato's were perfectly cooked from chef Marvin. I added a pineapple juice and had a delicious meal. I plan to go back.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch, indoor is nice and spacious and there's a nice outdoor area to dine as well. Brunch is from 11:30am-3pm. Service was fast and the food wait was not long at all. It did not seem too crowed (Sunday early afternoon). If you don't get anything else, the Mussel Pot was delicious (ask for my bread to dunk in the sauce). The steak satay tasted great too, I think it was a tad bit pricey for the portion but just my opinion. Good: -Garlic Mussel Pot!!! -Satay Steak -Lettuce wrap -Eggs Benedict Florentine Bad: -None

Yelp
I had passed by this spot a bunch of times and never gone in. We finally decided to check it out on a chilly Saturday evening. Around 6PM this place was relatively empty, but as the nice went on it definitely drew in a crowd with people meeting up with groups of others and soon the entire bar area was packed! Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive. I had a drink made with brown sugar bourbon that was delicious. My partner had a drink made with peach whiskey which he found strong but still managed to enjoy. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the various TVs showing football. For food I had the fish tacos which were fresh, albeit a bit messy. He had the sliders which he said were cooked perfectly. We split an order of edamame that could have used a touch more salt but still hit the spot. They also have a decent beer list and we ended the night with a Namagansett lager. Prices are fair for what you get. Service at the bar is good. I'm unsure how the table situation works. It looks like a seat yourself type of place.

Yelp
Food and appetizers were delicious and the bartender was very delightful, very welcoming and attentive to our needs in the bar area. Ambience was nice they had music , TVs to watch the games. I would definitely recommend. We even met the head chef he's was very nice bought us a round of shots.

Yelp
I've been frequenting this neighborhood gem since the day they opened way back when. The ambiance is amazing from the brick walls to the awesome fireplace. The bar itself is amazing as well. They frequently have live music either 1 or 2 people with guitars up to a very cool band I saw one night. On to the food the main draw. For appetizer you can indulge in their incredible pots either sunday sauce or the clam pot or the most amazing mussel our personal favorite thai red curry . They have awesome wings and sliders and omg filet mignon tacos you dont want to miss. They also have pizettas. Dinner menu is very eclectic covering the most incredible to the meatloaf with mashed potatoes string beans and gravy (my go to). You can get a blackened mahi mahi served over horseradish white bean sauce, mango pico, truffle risotto and sauteed spinach (my wifes most favorite dish all time). Now for the staff, every person we've ever encountered here have treated us like we were part of the family. Joe is our favorite server who greets me with a hug and a handshake every time. I would highly recommend you give this great place a shot. Bonus when the weather gets a little warmer you can eat al fresco on their beautiful deck patio where they do have tower heaters to take the chill out of the late afternoon early evening air

Yelp
Rustic American Cuisine Under Stars FOOD: 4 out of 5 stars Food was tasty and delicious but nothing was memorable. We had the Maple Duck, Grilled Cheese Dipping, and Crab Cake Bites with Limoncello Mule. The duck was not gamey at all and it dressed with maple blueberry sauce -easy eat. LOCATION: 5 stars This is a cute local spot in Bethpage , plenty of parking and it's in walking distance to the train. SERVICE: 5 stars Service was quick, polite, no complaints at all. AMBIANCE: 5 stars Rustic American vibes with indoor and patio with string lights featuring live music! Score! WAITLIST: 5 stars No wait

Yelp
The campaign house is an excellent place for lunch. I haven't been there for dinner in a while, but lunch was very delightful. Very tasty. I highly recommend this with hanging out with your friends or business people.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now, and every time has been excellent. Very good selection of beer. Something on the menu to meet anyone's taste. Last nights meat loaf was exceptional. Excellent service, Thank you to our server Joe. Nice ambiance, I recommend a seat by the gas fireplace. Great local choice

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a Friday night. It was our first time here. We immediately sat down at a table near the bar. The waiter came over promptly and took our drink orders. I had a Bloody Mary with extra olives and my friend had a glass of red wine. The Bloody Mary was ok, but wish it had been prepared with horseradish... we ordered wings and a pot of mussels! OmG the dry rub wings were the best I've ever had and placed another order of the wings. The ambience was nice and vibey with great music playing! Will definitely be back here!

Barbara G.

Yelp
Went for brunch and got avocado toast. No actual avocado, it looked like liquid green slime on toast. Like baby food consistency. There was actual water on it. Baby food would be more appetizing. I didn't eat it, told them I didn't care for it. Still charged. 3rd time that I've been there and thought good appetizers, really bad meal. Won't be back.

Yelp
Campagne House exceeds almost all expectations, delicious food, beautiful presentation and trendy interior! But there are a lot of OLD people some days usually singing their songs. I peek in and go to the bar down the street those nights haha. The food here is top notch I've had the steak, the quesadillas, the nachos, the meatballs and the drinks are just fine. Check it out it's a hit or miss depending on the crowd.

Yelp
I had the most amazing time at the Campagne house. I was almost drowning in the atlantic ocean when i saw Nick Lang's arms reach out and pull me out. He proceeded to swim 33 miles to shore with me on his back. Lifesaver!! We also tried the wings and quesadillas The potato skins has so much cheese we really didn't care for them I recommend getting the house Cabernet Sauvignon it's only $10 a glass Ample parking Clean restrooms Ambiance is very nice and presentable

Yelp
Food and drink is well above average for what's in the area. Service is great, bar is really cool dining room is a little outdated. But everything else made up for that.

Beatrice C.

Yelp
Ordered wings & they came out As DRY as the bone they were fried in...The bartentender took them back and "exchanged" them for a "new order" INSTANTLY"... NICE TRY and then STILL CHARGED 18.00 WHEN he took them back when they sat at the bar for over a 1-2 hr !

Yelp
Very nice for a casual meal. Meatloaf is quite good with gravy. Appetizers are really good.

Yelp
Had a fantastic birthday dinner with wifey and a group of friends at Campagne House just before the holidays. From start to finish service was friendly and helpful, albeit a tad slow but on a Saturday night that's to be expected. Sampled two cocktails: the peach old fashioned and a cherry bourbon lemonade the name of which is escaping me at the moment and both were terrific. Spinach dip, fried pickles and cantonese wings appetizers were also super tasty. But the star of the show was the steel pan paella entree that I went with. Seriously regretting not taking a picture before digging in just to show off the generous portion of shellfish on this puppy. Super flavorful in every bite, would definitely recommend trying this one. Our waitress was also kind enough to bring over a piece of their chocolate lava cake for the obligatory embarrassment and birthday song which was very good as well. Overall a great meal and a great time, we will certainly be back.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I have been to Campagne House with family & friends and never disappointed. The food is always prepared well and delicious. They have seasonal drink options. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar. Enjoy!

Yelp
Good food , horrible service the staff didn't know what to recommend they had to go back to the menu couple of times. The ambiance was loud and not really a lot of professionalism and they made me you feel like just another bar not a restaurant .

Yelp
Great food great drink great music!!!! A must go to....... Never disappoints Menu is changing all the time yum!!

Yelp
Every time I've come to the Campagne House, I've had the pleasure of being seated on the patio. Enclosed by an attractive wall-fence, this space is a small oasis of peace with trees and umbrellas and bird song. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing (I'd be chill, too, if my section was out there!). I think I've only had burgers there; honestly, I go there for the patio. And a Guinness, of course! If the food was NOT good, I wouldn't keep going there. My first time there was after hiking the trails in Bethpage State Park, and I was hungry. We tried it on a whim. Now it's a favorite! Take your favorite friend and have lunch, and if you have to wait for a patio seat, order a Guinness and wait!

Yelp
I wanted to like this place based on the reviews and photos I saw online. The food was pretty much glorified bar food. The ambience was just ok. The service was incredibly slow. I had to get up and check on our drink order (2 drinks) after seeing people who were seated after we arrived get their drinks and apps before we got our drinks. Will not be returning any time soon.

Chris O.

Yelp
Went for dinner tonight. Very disappointing. Got the salad dressing wrong, not enough ketchup for burger and fries, and very overpriced. The place has been there for a while this stuff ain't complicated.

Yelp
I came here for brunch for my mother's birthday and we had a great experience. I came on a Sunday at 11:30 AM and we were the only ones in the restaurant for the first hour which was nice. The service was great and the food was good. I had the western omelet with mimosa which was $18 for the omelet and $6 for the drink. The prices were decent but the prices online are different than the ones in the restaurant. They need to update the website but other then that everything was great. I would recommend for brunch. They even had a nice outdoor area!
google avatar

Farah F.

Yelp
We came here because we had to wait for a table across the street for Me&U. Sat at the bar and was greeted by Kaitlin Who was extremely warm and accommodating. We came here to just grab a drink but decided to stay. I got the seasonal mimosa (apple cider mimosa with sugar and cinnamon rim)- $5 and super worth it!! Fiancé got Jefferson's on the rocks. To start off we got the pretzel that was warm and delicious. I got the warm pear salad that was surprisingly tasty! I thought I wasn't going to like the blue cheese crumbles but it was a good accent to the dish. Fiancé got the potato skins that were nostalgic.

Yelp
Food well prepared, tasty and fresh. The service is very professional. Love this restaurant

Yelp
This place is super cute! As a recent inhabitant of Long Island, I need to check out all the food and drink it has to offer. (don't worry, plenty of NYC reviews will still be had!) This was my first stop and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. As a fan of all NYC cute food and drink places, I was not sure what to expect. This place is sort of a mix of SLIGHTLY dive bar and adorable little cafe, plus outdoor beer garden. It wears all the hats. The front part of the bar is quite spacious, with high top tables perfect for the beer drinking, pretzel eating, (and their pretzels are FANTASTIC looking!!) wing lovers. More casual and chill, perfect for watching the game. I believe they do live music as well. The back interior is a little more quiet and intimate, with cute wooden tables and booths, amidst a beautiful fireplace. And the back is where summers will be a great time, with their outdoor garden and setup. Our server was lovely, we came for brunch, and their menu is outstanding. It's huge, with plenty for everyone, and you can order for the brunch menu OR the regular menu, which I love, because, sometimes I just want lunch :) They had a grill cheese French toast that sounded spectacular (if anyone gets this, let me know how it was.) i ended up going with a veggie panini, and of course had to spring for the truffle fries. Anytime truffle is on the menu, you do it. Perfectly crispy and delicious, they were a hit. I know sometimes veggies make paninis not so crispy, but it was still delicious and well flavored. I ordered a Gin drink, (can't recall the name but it had elderflower and pear, and I love the little mason jars it was served in. Can't wait to come back and try a few more items! I will definitely be back here, especially to hang outside in the summer!

Sheila D.

Yelp
Campagne House is my go to local place that never disappoints. Food is always good. Service is always great and it is a nice ambience. Highly recommend this gem in the Bethpage area.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun place, cool menu. The outdoor courtyard is like a NYC outdoor cafe. Servers are enthusiastic and the drinks are cool. Food is fun and it's good. Not great, but I don't think they strive to be. Maybe it's not needed? Like I mentioned, its a fun place.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday on a double date and had a reservation. It was hoppin! Great vibes, friendly atmosphere. Bright but casual feel. We ordered a bunch of appetizers: nachos, wings, calamari. All amazing. The sangria was tasty as well. This place is a great for a casual date night or a group night out with friends or family. Reasonably priced and a Fun time!

Yelp
Great food and even better staff! The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and helpful! I loved everything I have tried! The steak, the campagne house chicken, the salmon, the wings, literally everything! Especially the flourless chocolate cake, DO NOT LEAVE without trying it!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here today for a brunch! It was so lovely. We sat outside on their lovely patio. The service was great. Drinks are $5 during brunch and the menu is delicious! Everyone was super happy with their meal. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Absolutely loved the food here! We ordered a chicken quesadilla and Buffalo wings as appetizers. The only hiccup was the wings were super frail, needed more meat but the quesadilla was bomb. Burgers were cooked to the perfect Temp that everyone asked for as well as the steaks. Drinks were good, you can't mess up a tequila seltzer lol. We'll be back

Yelp
Went out for drinks and apps with a friend- Good food, drink, and atmosphere, great local spot for a night out or event.

Yelp
This is really an overlooked little gem simply because they offer outdoor seating, live music and a fairly large and varied menu. Looking to be outdoors on a beautiful Saturday evening and also listen to some live music, and I remembered that Campagne House fit the bill. We headed over and absolutely loved the ample patio area that is fenced but with open views to the street and the music was a great jazz trio. Weather was excellent and we figured even if the food was only decent, it was better than having excellent food, but indoors and without music. Service was also very good..the guys were busy, so it was more sporadic, but we were very well cared for and in no rush at all. We knew that we would keep the ordering basic, but the duck looked like something that Lee would like and he was very pleased, odd to me that it was 2 leg/thighs and not a full 1/2 duck, but it was not advertised as a duck breast, so that's fair. The burger was great, good fries. Dry rub wings were also good, a bit overcooked and small in size, not too much meat... 8 to an order at this size should be bumped up to 10 or so for the 12 dollar price. The loaded nachos, my daughters request, were nice, though not my thing. We shared an apple crisp with our coffee..good but oddly burnt on the top with some char...the new "crisp" is now "toasted".. All in all, will absolutely be a go to. With so few cute upscale type casual dining spots in central Nassau, this is definitely the best that we have found lately. One tip for all of these restaurants where the server is carrying a Martini a few hundred feet to the tables...use the small cocktail shakers and pour table side..all you need is about 10 for the bar and it is not only a nice, fancy little touch, but the salt/sugar stays on the rim vs being splashed on while the server balances the unyielding drink through the inside and then outdoor seating areas..** check out Snaps in Wantagh to see how it's done right..

Yelp
The food was delicious. Portions were great. I got the steak with bourbon mushroom glaze. It was cooked to perfection as were the potatoes and string beans. Boyfriend got the steak special with spicy teriyaki sauce and wasabi mashed potatoes. The wasabi mashed potatoes were good but wow!!!! Opened up the nostrils and was a little too much so he switched to regular mashed potatoes. Server was friendly. For dessert we got the apple crisp We thought it was just ok. Overall a good find and will return

Yelp
Hesitant to return because of my previous experience with soemwhat less than stellar bar service, Lisa E. insisted on "outdoor dining with live music". I let bygones be bygones, and actually ended up thoroughly enjoying my time here last week. We were seated at a table with great sightlines to the exceptional jazz band, and just far enough away to make conversation easy. We shared the dry rubbed wings, which I really enjoyed. Crispy, spicy and enough moist flavorsome meat to satisfy my pre- entree craving. My cocktail, a grapefruit gin concotion was a nice choice on this sunny, but cool evening. I went out on a limb and ordered the maple crisp duck. Lisa was a little confused that it was two legs rather than a proper half roast duck, but I saw the photos that depicted it just this way. The legs were cooked perfectly. The accompanying sweet potato and green apple hash was a nice pairing. The fresh green beans were not blistered as decribed, but i ate everyone of them. My only quibble was that the brandied blueberry sauce did not add anyhting special to the dish ( my picture hints as to why). Skipped dessert and coffee, defer to Lisa E's take on that. Campagne House, on this visit garners 4 stars from me. 3.5 for the food and drink and a solid 5 for the setting, music and service.

Yelp
Live down the street and had brunch there and the food was excellent and fresh. We were the only ones there at the time for brunch so of course service was amazing. Wait staff had a terrific sense of humor. The ambiance is very old school like colonial and farm like. Thats not to say it was a dive the place looked immaculate with a stone fireplace you can imagine roaring in the winter while having a pint. Highly recommended if you're in the Bethpage area!

Yelp
We've been going to Campagne House basically since their opening. The menu is so eclectic, we're never bored and like to try different things. My group of friends dine there at least once a month. Well, last week we had the BEST server, Jason. Jason was ON POINT. He had most of the tables in the courtyard, but was always checking how we were doing, if we needed anything. Outstanding service deserves to be called out. Thank you JASON for making our experience that evening even better! We'll definitely be seeing you soon!!

Yelp
Amazing Bar. Great bar tenders. Service staff is awesome. Food is really good. Bar atmosphere is awesome.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday for brunch....a nice surprise is u can order from brunch or lunch menu and all 7 thought their meals were excellent!!! Ambiance is rustic, service was attentive and friendly...and they have very nice outside patio....Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
We ordered a bunch of appetizers and enjoyed them all! Dry rub wings were really good and crispy, crabcake bites were super tasty and I thought the nachos were excellent too (though chips, cheese, and ground beef are pretty hard to screw up). Lettuce wraps got a thumbs up, but the fried calamari was accused of being flavorless. I enjoyed them myself though! We will definitely go back. It's a great, homey looking place with a lively bar, but fair warning: it is by FAR the loudest restaurant/bar I've ever been to. The rest of my party didn't mind and/or didn't care, but if noise is an issue be aware. All told...I like it and you should too!

Sonya C.

Yelp
Well worth the money. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. It was a nice atmosphere being with my husband having crafted cocktails. It's great to see a place that values both tradition and innovation

Yelp
Went in for apps and drinks to start our week off after a crazy holiday season. Campagne House has become one of our go to places. Consistently great food, friendly atmosphere and professional service. Our server last night was Joseph and he helped to make it a fun night! We shared 4 apps. Buffalo wings, classic sliders, fish tacos and duck tostada. I'm the kind of guy that almost always uses hot sauce and the pepper mill when I eat, but I wasn't looking for either for any of these. They were tasty, perfectly seasoned and needed no embellishments. The wings were hot, but not crazy so. The sliders perfectly medium rare and flavorful. The fish tacos had a good salsa, sour cream and guac. The duck tostada was the star of the show. Juicy and delicious duck on a crispy tostada, black beans, salsa, guac and fresh, sweet mango. Wow! The drinks are always a good pour and they have a lively almost party atmosphere without being too loud to have a conversation. Go and ENJOY!

Yelp
Went to get a "Quick bite" So we could enjoy MUSIC ON BROADWAY...The waitress took our order...drinks came no problem Apps no problem...Our simple dinner took OVER 35 MINUTES...THREE TABLES that sat at the same time or a little later...with a diffrent waiter!! Were served 20 minutes....Our waitress was SO BUSY SITTING with the locals that she MUST HAVE forgotten to put in our order...MUST HAVE IS A KEY...only AFTER the three tables were served and we asked the other waiter to check ob our food that 20 minutes later it came out...We were never asked by management how things were at our table when CLEARLY the management went to the table next to us...a table of 10 to make sure everything was OK... our waitress was still sitting eveywhere after another waiter dropped our food to our table...NOT THE BEST SERVICE...NOT THE BEST MANAGEMENT...EVEN WHEN THEY ARE THERE!!!
