We have just stayed in this hotel, and our experience was quite good. Great location as you step out of the metro and the hotel is in front of you. The hotel is in the middle of a big roundabout, but you can't hear the traffic in the rooms. It is a long way from the centre of Paris, but the metro is very good.
Staff on the whole are pleasant and helpful. We di find the evening staff better than the morning ones.
We did have a couple of issues, blocked toilet (fixed immediately), broken fan reported in the morning still not replaced by nighttime, staff moved us to another room as our original room was so hot.
The rooms are small, but have a very large bed, which is very comfortable. Yes the rooms are dated and need refreshing, but are clean and comfortable.
We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights, great buffet. Unfortunately breakfast was not so good, scrambled eggs and sausages was cold. Also be aware that when we were there the restaurant didn't open on a Saturday and Sunday evening.
The bar area is really nice and relaxing.
For us the biggest problem was there was no air conditioning and you cannot open the windows for safety reasons. We were in Paris during a heat wave, and the hotel provided fans.
For the price, this is a reasonable hotel, yes rooms need refreshing, but are comfortable.
