Absolutely terrible! Gave me my food & it was spilled in the bag. Skimpy on rice & beans m, basically all lettuce in the suizo burrito no meat. I ate a 3rd & through the rest away! With so much competition in the area you would think they'd do a better job. Definitely not worth $15

The perfect pancakes!! Love the Campesino breakfast special. I get the scrambled eggs with pancakes and sausage. My daughter loves their pancakes with fruit. So good and healthy! The Campesino family is very special to me. They have been so welcoming to me and my family. When I was pregnant years ago I was addicted to their salad. They have a special place in my heart for how many of those I ordered. Thanks for creating a loving home in our community. <3

Will be taking my business elsewhere due to inconsistency. Sometimes protein is missing or falling short other times our fresh food is overly salty (guacamole) Dine-in is pretty good 👍 issue is with take-out. I order every Sunday "La Serpiente Emplumada" will now have my business year-round

This place has our heart. It serves traditional Mexican food, the seasoning is authentic. Not to mention the beautiful service we always get when we go. We always feel at home, Jesus (Chuy) and his wife make a great team in running this place. We wish you the best in all your hard work! Definitely recommend!

Chicken tacos were to die for. So yummy. My steak tacos were alil burnt but they were delicious too. Also I rated this restaurant a 3/5 due to a few things I didn’t like. So I paid extra for sour cream & cheese and they barely gave me any 👎 than their red sauce is disgusting 🤢 it taste very old an odd taste to it. It didn’t taste like other restaurants. Besides that everything was pretty good. Thanks. Will still support business from time to time.

Yelp
Best sopes ever! This location has a high turnover rate (most businesses don't very last long), but it looks like Campesino is here to stay.

Yelp
Campesino is authentic Mexican! I ordered the taco meal and it was truly awesome! I love Mexican cuisine anyway so it was hopefully going to be a good experience. The meal consisted of 3 tacos, rice and refried beans. The meat (steak) was tender not rubbery or tough, ( good thing, need to schedule that dentist appointment) and was flavorful enough. The rice and beans were good and they even give you a bag of tortilla chips. Service was so fast that I almost tripped over myself to get to the front door. It was a very good experience. Try Campesino's!

Yelp
Love this place! You know you live in a cool little neighborhood when you've got a spot like this right around around the corner. I spent 13 years in Southern California, where you could find an original, authentic Mexican restaurant on every corner. Campesino rates right up there with the best of them! Beautiful food. Friendly, incredible service. If you're an Albany Park local, this should be your go-to spot. If you're just passing through, pump the brakes, park the car, and treat yourself to some delicious eats while supporting a great local business. Thanks for terrific tacos and beautiful burritos whenever I need them, Campesino. You're my favorite neighbor!

Yelp
Tacos were okay but the horchata ... tasted like rotten liquid cheese I physically gagged and I never do. It was so bad it left a weird rotten cheese aroma in my kitchen it was that bad.

Yelp
This use to be a different restaurant that was bad! My husband and I drove by and saw it was a new place so decided to give it a try . What a great decision! The food was great but even better was the staff . So kind and friendly. I have never had such great service especially from a small taqueria. The chef came out and introduced himself to us and was very friendly. You can tell this is a family business who actually take pride in it. This place is extremely clean and well kept . I hope to come more often and wish them much success! Btw get the tres Leche cake and thank me later . It's a must .

Yelp
Walked in with my friend starving. Ordered the menudo it was so big my Abuela would jump up and down. Lol! I also ordered some carne Asada tacos... yummy for sure. It's such a little detail but the way I could grab the tacos and how they came out wrapped and ready to be devoured in a cleanly manner really satisfied me. Indulging in some cravings I got a flan as well. Not expecting what I got!! One bite in I had to message my mami to make her jealous. Don't tell my tia but this is the best flan I've ever had. Can't wait to take the driving back to Chicago for this place. Worth every penny. Thank you to these chefs for a great meal. !!!

Yelp
Love this spot! They've got some really good Sopes and are always reasonably priced. This place also has a better meat source than several other Latino restaurants around and you can clearly tell.
