Camping Is Aruttas

The best beach for me on Sardinia. A lo of paths to walk all along the beach. Beach is fascinating. The blue sea agains the white sand- sand is the size of a rice grains

The photo shows the pile of trash near the entrance. This site has so much potential but is in desperate need of TLC. It’s overgrown with a green pool and many electric outlets do not work. The nearest grocery is 20 minutes by car so we were shown their camp market and the stench was like something had died in there! We couldn’t leave there fast enough. The advertised pizzeria was not available for pizza only drinks, with millions of flies everywhere. They changed the price for two people with a car and a tent three times. There were no prices advertised anywhere, so we couldn’t argue. We ended up paying 20 euros each and then they wanted to charge more for electric. I will say that the pitch where we camped was quiet, flat shady and peaceful. The beach is about a kilometer walk. The bathrooms were fairly new but not clean. I rarely leave poor reviews but I felt a need to warn others.

Toilets were horrible (very dirty) at times there would be no running water. The wifi did not work and the barbecue area had no proper lights (only UV lights) not worth the price (30 euros)but the beach was nice.

My 3 stars come from a 5 stars for the camping position, and a 1 star on the state of the camping. The camping is 10 minutes walk from one of the most stunning beaches in Sardinia. The camping could be very enjoyable. But unfortunately it is run severely run down. The toilettes were disaster. The swimming pool is basically abandoned. It is a shame to see so much potential and so little interest in using it....

This camping is great value for money. It's located next to one of the best beaches of the island (2 minutes on foot). Powerful showers with no coins and no time limits and the washing machine/dryers corner are great adds. The pitches are shaded and the employees are easy going and friendly. The relaxed atmosphere is the overall advantage of the place but the great pizza served at the bar pizzeria also gives it a nice touch.

Not ready for business (still under construction 🚧) - only one of three shower blocks ready; pool not usable - seems like new owners. Advertised as having market and food, but DOESN'T - just coffee and beer. Two stars for location, lovely trees and nice hosts (although a dose of humility would go a long way 🤦‍♂️). The nearby beach is worth staying one night.

The place is very large and perfectly organised. They have a pizzeria and restaurant, they have a bar and café (great coffe and delicious croissants!). There are three different locations for bathrooms and showers, with separated rooms for men and for women, which are cleaned daily. Many of the parking spots are shaded by old trees. There is a direct access to the beach of Is Aruttas, famous for the sand made of little quartz stones and the clean, blue sea. Children and dogs are welcome. The fees change according to the season, in low season you pay 10€ per adult person, reduced for kids up to 13 years of age, 2€ for dogs, 1€ for a tent spot, 4€ for a camper or caravan spot, 3€ for electricity. Expect to pay a bit more in high season (July and August). The personnel is SUPER NICE! Very kind, very helpful, very efficient, very welcoming!

The bar service was excellent, the bar man was super kind and hospitable. The environment was wonderful, the toilet was clean and tidy. Wonderful place, I recommend it to everyone. ❤️
