Camping Les Sablons

We stayed at this seaside camping at the end of September and overall had a very good experience. The territory is huge, but since it was the end of the season, it felt pleasantly calm and not crowded. The direct access to the beach is a real highlight – clean, beautiful, and just a short walk away. The animation program was great, and I tried aqua bike and paddle yoga, both of which were lots of fun. We also really appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket and a lovely bakery right at the entrance, as well as the camping app that made booking activities and finding useful info super easy. The garden with animals is another charming touch, and the playgrounds and pools are fantastic for families. However, there are some points that could definitely be improved. Our last night (26th of September) was unfortunately spoilt by an extremely loud private party at the camping’s event center, with music blasting until 2 a.m. – not ideal when you have to leave early the next morning. Many guests were complaining, but apparently these events are a normal thing, which feels quite disrespectful towards the campsite visitors. Another aspect is the pet-friendly positioning. While many people do bring dogs and pay for it, there isn’t much provided for them compared to other five-star campings. No small welcome gift, no fenced playground, and only two special trash cans for the whole area, which sadly resulted in quite a lot of dog poop around our pitch and on the roads. A friendly reminder at check-in about cleaning up after pets would be potentially really helpful. As a dreamy suggestion, it would be fantastic to have a fenced dog playground near the animals area, or even a little “dog kindergarten,” where pets could stay for an hour while their owners join sports activities. All in all, despite these drawbacks, it’s a nice camping with many positive aspects, and we might consider coming back – hopefully with some improvements in the future.

Beautiful location and well kept site. Endless activities for all ages. This is a huge campsite so be prepared for a good 7 min (pacey) walk from one side to the other. Great access to a lovely beach and super pool area.

This campsite truly offers endless opportunities and fantastic facilities for all ages. Whether you're coming with kids or as a couple, there's something for everyone.. it's perfectly tailored to both children and adults. One of the highlights for us was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Most of them spoke excellent English, which, let's be honest, is quite rare in France and made everything so much easier. And the bakery on-site.. Just wow. Possibly the best I've ever seen at a campsite, fresh, delicious, and always a treat. Bit more expensive than normal bakeries, but that is reasonable. If I had to mention one small downside, it's that the evening entertainment (like the mini disco and events) went on a bit late and was quite loud, which can be a challenge when you’ve got little ones who go to bed around 7 or 8 PM. That said, I completely understand the need to offer fun experiences for older kids and adults too.. it's a tough balance. Still, from a young parent’s point of view, a slightly lower volume would’ve made bedtime a bit easier. (yes, I know I sound like a grumpy Karen here HAHA) Overall, it’s a fantastic camping experience, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Sandwiched between 2 outdoor camping/ glamping sites it is a great location for fun and water for the whole family. However, and it's a big butt, the evening is ruined by outdoor clubs and discotheques until midnight blasting the area from multiple locations. Impossible to sleep in this area until well after midnight as other guests also consider 1 am an acceptable time to yell, talk and mill about. Culturally we are probably just a bad fit. But sleeping is key for us and with smallish children.

The rooms are very expensive for what they offer. Bare minimum comfort. Bedding if you request it is extra but please be aware if you pay for one you will only get one set for one bed. Not one for each.

Excellent location which is just near the beach, the sand there is very fine and smooth, also the dogs are permitted to enter. Excellent service, all the staffs can speak English and were very dedicated, the reception, security, lifeguard, Carrefour shop assistant, maintenance staff… Also the chalet was in good condition (TAOS LUXE 3 CH 2 SDB), with duvets and towels all prepared. Excellent trees and plants, seemed like they had been well designed and maintained. There’s a big shopping center in the city Beziers which is just 30 mins drive from the Camping site.

Nice camping, home was clean and surroundings quiet. Nice beach. Kids club was good. Gym a bit small, slow WiFi.

Fantastic Campsite, everything you need on site and on a beautiful unspoilt beach just a 2 minute walk from our mobilehome. The prestige mobile home was comfortable and had plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 big kids (10-13). The most beautiful grounds lots of vegetation, privacy and no cars in our part of the campsite. so peaceful and tranquile. No noise from animations at night. The restauratn was good and great pizzas etc at the snack bar. Not too expensive. The pools are great not too busy in early July, lots of sun loungers available. The adult solarium pool is amazing and so chilled out. Brilliant supermarket and bakery on site and a little selction of shops and restaurants in Portinagne just outside the gate. Also a great Market on Fridays outside the gate. You dont need a car but if you have one there seems to be plenty to do in nearby towns, we took the bus to beziers. The beach is amazing, and has a lovely chilled beacjh bar. I will definetly come back to this campsite.
