Camping Werfen

Nice and friendly host, beautiful views close to ice caves. Paid €21 for 1 night, 2 adults, small tent and no power. Only 1 shower in ladies bathroom though which was often occupied. 1 separate shared shower. Coins for hot shower, one coin cost €1,40 and it's for 6 mins.

Best camping we've been so far! Very nice owner who appears to know everything there is to know about the region and is always helpful. The view from your camping spot is also amazing, huge peaceful mountains seem to guard you during your stay. The evening pizza is also very much worth the money, and just the thing you'll need after a long day hiking through the mountains. I kind of regret that we ever left!

Went there to see the ice caves and stay overnight with tent and car but the lady didn't accept us saying "all booked" in a pretty rude way without thinking a second altrough we could see lots of available space. Other than that when I said her we went there to visit the caves she almost laughed in my face saying it was too late and we could maybe be able to go the day after, luckily i called the info number and they still had hours to do the visit the same day. The place seemed good and cheap but the owner (i guess) wasn't ok.

Our stay here was fantastic! Best European campground host I've encountered. Unfortunately they'll be closing their doors as of 30/09/2022. All the best!

One star cause zero is not possible. The woman who received me was really rude, she wanted to keep me away from her also when I was at 2 meters from her she was afraid of me having coronavirus and she started to act like that once she realized I am italian when with the other guest she did not care at all about the distance . In 2020 this is a shame. 12 euros for one person with bike and small tent, too expensive. You have to pay extra money if you want hot shower. NOT RECCOMENDED!

Great place to stay with great owners and a great view. Lots to do in the surroundings, especially for hikers!

Nice campground, friendly people

Prima camping! Het klopt dat het sanitair gedateerd is (met wel een mooie nieuwe doucheruimte erbij), maar alles functioneert prima. En de hygiëne voorzieningen zijn uitstekend, en het is schoon. Wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Mooie omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen (Tauernradweg). Wij betaalden voor 4 nachten €125; staanplaats voor de camper met stroom, douchemunten en elke ochtend lekkere broodjes. Niets op aan te merken!
