What a historical and beautiful place to relax & wind down. Untouched beach, beautiful location, impeccable service and best yoga and massage from Val! Great for singles and families alike, lots of sports activities, high-end furniture and nice crowd. The village feels like Tulum ages ago. Still, the hotel has the spirit from the German soccer team who stayed here during World Cup Brazil - you can still feel that atmosphere at the beautifully created bar and in the restaurant. Definitely recommend! Hidden gem!

Very private, very quiet, very relaxing. We stayed 5 days and enjoyed our stay at this hidden jewel of Bahia. The pool is very good, in the center of the camp, with amazing bar, and service. The villas and common arenas are very stylish, nicely furnished and the whole place is very clean.

You still feel the Spirit of „The Team“. As this was the second stay (First in 2016), it is visible that the Management changed. More Clean, the Gym better equiped, the Service Team much more motivated and always friendly and very helpful. This time was very crowded so that the space around the Pool already was without space (chaires etc) for everybody. And than you notice that this Hotel is not a „Small Luxury“ as announced since years. If you know a „Six Senses“ Hotel than you know talking about „Small Luxury Hotels“. Anyway a Great Place to relax, enjoy and be happy. To recommend. Special thanks to the Governante (Responsible Lady for Cleanliness) and Pedro, the best Bar-Keeper in whole Bahia Coast or maybe in whole Brazil.

For a remote, tropical, laid back South Atlantic/South American adventure, I could hardly give Campo Bahia a higher recommendation. Located on the beach in Bahia, but with low-profile, environmentally conscious buildings, Bahia has all the world class amenities, but on a modest scale. The area is sparsely populated, but there are other (good) modest bars and restaurants relatively close by. ||||The hotel is barely more than a couple years old, and is not large. The rooms are contained in 2 story "bungalows" of four rooms each, with a common living area for each group of four. What I found remarkable is the bathrooms are designed into the open air, and the shower becomes organically part of the outdoor setting, while providing full privacy. ||||There is a marvelous breakfast buffet and dining room, also in an essentially breezy, outdoor setting. A poolside bar and enormous swimming pool, as well as picnic/BBQ eating areas, round out the facilities. The magnificent beach is just a few steps away. ||||I swam in the salty South Atlantic ocean both day and night, and felt perfectly safe. The gradient of the shoreline is modest and as one swims further south, lifts up into a sandbar. ||||To get to the hotel, you land in Porto Seguro airport, then head north about 45 minutes where you then cross the Rio Joao de Tiba by ferry. Another 5 minutes, and you're there. ||||The quality of the rooms and the design of the hotel leaves little to be desired.

Unfortunately our experience with Campo Bahia was very frustrating.||||The hotel shows off a “Small Luxury Boutique Hotel” title plate at the main entrance which definitely does not deserve. We have a lot of concerns about the hotel but the top 5 are: 1) The air conditioner from the room was not good enough so the nights became terribly hot; 2) The main restaurant does not have air conditioners (incredible!), so during hot days were impossible to eat without getting all wet; 3) The pool was dirty when we arrive (dark green instead of clear water), so dirty that I almost couldn’t see me feet while inside; 4) They certainly were not prepared for busy days, during the dinner the food was taking more than an hour to get ready and there were 4 waitress for like 20 tables or more; and in some days they ran out of fruits for juices and beer!; 5) The breakfast is like a 3 star hotel, very poor with very few options;||||It looks like they got famous for hosting the German Team during the 2014 World Cup and are now living with this “title” forgetting how a 5 star hotel should be.||||In summary Campo Bahia is just a “reasonable” hotel, for sure not “Luxury Boutique Hotel” as they say. And a very expensive one.

The hotel is quite reserved, its location guarantees privacy and comfort right in front of the sea. The Santo André beach is exclusive, even during the Carnival holidays it was super quiet. It has a rustic chic style and you´ll notice it in every detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful. ||Campo Bahia consists of villas, with approximately 5 rooms and a private living room for each. A refrigerator is available in each villa, where you can find complimentary bottled water.  The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom has two showers and sinks, with L'occitane products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion).|||The restaurant is in the center of the villages, super stylish. It does not have air conditioning, but in my opinion it´s positive, since it maintains the natural contact with local nature. The chef is very talented, the culinary is amazing. The breakfast is well served, you can consider it a brunch. Besides the buffet, you can order specific dishes to the chef. The nutella croissant and the scrambled eggs tapioca are delicious. The lunch and dinner menu gives us interesting choices. After ordering, it took half an hour tops to receive the food. In front of the restaurant are two beautiful glass tables supported by huge wooden logs, located beneath a lush cashew tree. |||The pool is great with an attached whirlpool area. Guests also have a gym, sand volleyball court, yoga space and L'Occitane Spa. The hotel offers beach service, umbrella and chairs, besides it is possible to rent stand up paddle or a schooner ride, for example. The administration offers several interesting activities, such as carnival party, super creative.||||I will definitely stay again in this paradise.|||

I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances!||||My new jewelry was stoled in this hotel by some insolent employee, inside the room, on the bed!||||I did a photoshooting session at the hotel, because my trip was for work, when I finished to work, I put my clothes and jewelry on the bed and i went to the pool, when I came back the jewelry had already been stoled. ||||When I got to the room, I saw my whole room tidy, at first I confess that it was strange, because there were my personal and valuable items on the bed, but as I WAS a hotel customer, I thought they had cleaned my room out of courtesy, but in fact it was for disguise the theft of jewels!!!!||||When I missed the jewelry, that's when the receptionist told me that I had "forgotten" ONE EARRING ONLY. I was immediately freaked out and asked her to check as there were other jewels together!||||Obviously she didn't find it! Some housekeeping employee had already stolen it, of course she wouldn't find it!||||I say, never go to this hotel or to this location, the negligence of this hotel was absurd, they only pay compensation if you are a tv artist, because afraid of the scandal they will solve the problem, but if you are anonymous, the negligence Granted.||||This region has no police, there is no police station available, no security if something happens, they will not answer the phone, e-mail, they do not investigate thefts or robberies, and if you want the police to investigate, you will need to PAY for it.||||I do not recommend.

Only a few places I've been in my life had that impact on me. The moment you arrive at the Campo Bahia luxury Beach Resort the magic is taken place. You will find the most beautiful kept gardens and spaces with a very warm and welcoming approach. Nothing is loud or freaky here - all is smooth and blends with nature, with the ocean and with a very remarkable hospitality. All service and staff is local from the village near by. Smiling faces welcome you wether is breakfast, lunch or dinner. And you better not miss a meal here - because the chief of the kitchen creates most incredible dishes. All is local, fresh and cooked with love and passion. Most amazing is that all healthy options like vegetarian or vegan will be prepared with no resistance. The food is the most best i tasted on the whole trip in Brazil. The incredible tasteful decorated villas are a mixture of local laid back comfortable design with a arty twist of international high end interior. The most beautiful pool with a great pool bar and cosy lounge chairs will be the place for a lazy afternoon. You not gonna miss a thing here - the well equipped gym, a sauna, a high end Spa and a 20 km beach stretches along the most stunning cost line. A just new opened Beach Lounge offers BBQ and fruits or smoothies. The sport program covers all activities you can think of. From stand up paddle to boxing lessons with the champion - from yoga to kite surfing all is here on your fingertip. The resort has his own wonderful cruise boat - do not miss this opportunity. Near by you will find all day activities to enjoy a great vacation. We have been to the native indian tribe in the forest just 10 min away - a incredible deep experience. The little charming village Santo Andre, or the small cities near by like Trancoso or Porto Seguro are all attractive trips and sights to see - you will have a hard time deciding what to do next. For all soccer fans a stay here will bring you back the memory of the World championship in Brazil. The German Soccer Team stayed here and you will understand why they became the winners. Campo Bahia is a powerful and magic place where you can rejuvenate and relax. When you walk trough the oversized door in shape of a Dream catcher do not forget to focus on your dreams. This is the place where they become reality.
