We ordered 6 different dishes, and all of them tasted almost similar. I feel like it could be better. But servers were great.

The first time I ever went to Campo was on their Dirty 30 anniversary celebration, and I love that for me. This place was rowdy in all the best ways. I weaseled my way into a friend’s already made reservation at the bar, which was surrounded by standing room only, ran into a bunch of local close friends. Ordered the penne vodka which basically sent me to heaven, had the best house Sauvignon blanc ever, got hit on by and old guy, paid only $20 for the experience total because it was half off night, and it was so busy and wild that my friends forgot to pay their check when they left (they called the next day to pay and sort it out.) The tequila Shotski really did me dirty though. I will never forget this place.

Google
Dim lit bar perfect for winding down in the evening. Bartender was very attentive and made a wonderful off-menu mocktail. We ordered the Burrata and Autunnale. Both were delicious appetizers. This was our first time to Aspen so we did not know some restaurants would be closed for the off-season but we lucked out walking in to this restaurant because it did not disappoint.

First of all, You should need a reservation because it is a very crowded place. We sit first at the bar to have a couple of drinks. Really good Paloma. Our reservation was at 8:30pm. They sit us right on time to our table and the experience started… the music is good, you can dance and sing. Lol!!! Everybody is happy and having fun while enjoying a superb dinner. The food is just delicious: the pappardelle and the ravioli were so good!!! Everything cool and on place!

Google
Delicious homie Italian spot in the heart of aspen! The food comes out almost before you order it but everything was delicious!

Google
Food tasted good, especially the rosemary oil! We got one of the filled pasta dishes which tasted really good but portion was quite small. Lots of veg options. Price was not bad for where it was.

Google
We tried this spot on a Tuesday night and it was still packed at least the patio at 730. We sat inside and while it was nice inside, the tables were so crammed together. We ordered ravioli and bolognese. Both were delivered to our table within 5-10 min which was odd. My bolognese was runny but still tastes good. Seems like it might have been sitting in a hot pot. Reasonably priced food for aspen.

Google
Food was fine. Nothing extravagant except the prices. The “house” gin martini was $26. The server tried charging me for two rolls when the kitchen messed up and brought an extra one. We were nice enough to inform the server that it was an extra. She said it was fine until the bill came.

Yelp
Enjoyed a really nice dinner with my family on the evening of our arrival to Aspen (12/26/24)! The restaurant was loud and lively and we loved the authentic atmosphere. Menu was very extensive and we all struggled to choose what to order. The service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered the Autumnale as a starter which had such delicious flavors with the marinated and roasted vegetables. Then I had the chicken for my main which was perfectly juicy. The Brussels sprouts were also a pleasant surprise! My fav veg! The rest of my family all ordered pasta. The overall consensus was that the dishes were GOOD but slightly lacking in flavour and sauce. My sister said the pesto was very watery and my brother thought the same about the vodka pasta. Overall, we did still have a very good time. My family also really enjoyed the desserts but I didn't try them.

Yelp
The Bresaola Valtellina was awesome with a bit of the bread. Huge serving for an appetizer and I'm glad we split this. Could use a little Balsamic. The Penne Vodka was huge as well and again my husband and I split this dish. Not as good as we would of liked...it was more like Mac and cheese consistency instead of a creamy sauce. I wouldn't order it again

Yelp
This place was one of the recommendations from our hotel. Nice ambiance, liked the mood lighting in the bar area, and there's plenty of seating in the restaurant. Most places serve complimentary bread, but this place does not. I would've been okay paying $4 for bread; however, the bread was hard and not very good. Pretty much all the complimentary bread I've had with other restaurants are better than this bread that we had to pay for. I would just skip the bread altogether. We ordered the pasta with fetuccine piselli, which was lemon pasta with snap peas and Parmesan and the risotto tre funghi. The pasta had good flavor, although it was dry and could've used more sauce. The salt and sweetness of the snap peas do complement each other well. The risotto also has good flavor, but the rice could've been cooked more so it wasn't so hard. Our server could've been more attentive. We had to wave him down quite a bit when we had questions or needed to order. Overall, this place was okay.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! My mom and I are visiting my friend who lives in Aspen and she described this restaurant as the best espresso martini spot in town. Being that my mom is the only one out of us two that likes espresso martinis, she can vouch for that statement! Pricing isn't cheap but it isn't extremely expensive either. I would say that our group did not hold back and it was about $100 per person which included 2 cocktails, appetizer split 3 ways, an entree, and a dessert. We had a group of 3 and chose to sit in the bar. Both food and staff were absolutely amazing. First, for the staff - these guys were great! We never had an empty water cup, we hardly waited for food, and the conversations were awesome. Jumpy was so nice and attentive to our table. We asked about his travels and what brought him to Aspen. Great server! Our main server was also amazing but I, unfortunately, for his name. For the food.... The photos almost speak for themselves! AMAZING. We shared everything you see pictured to get the best experience possible. We started with the calamari appetizer. This plate was surprisingly large and had a lot of food! This is the perfect starter for a group of 3-5. We also had a bread basket that was phenomenal (not pictured). We then divulged into Our 3 pastas: linguine positano, penne caprese, and the pea dish (I can't remember the name). All dishes were amazing but my top two are the linguine positano and the penne caprese. If you want a dish that is light on the marinara sauce, but still had that tomato base, then I would highly recommend the penne! The tomato mixed with the garlic and basil was to die for. Lastly, the linguine positano was also delicious but had a lighter, white wine, base to the dish. It also had garlic, tomato's, and shrimp. Absolutely delicious. To end the night, we had dessert. All desserts were delicious. I was stuffed from the food, so I went with the vanilla gelato and it was the perfect finish to my meal! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend you checking out this restaurant on your next visit to Aspen!

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful restaurant in Aspen. We were looking to get Italian food and were able to snag an early reservation here around 530. We sat outside in their patio. The ambiance and food were were excellent.

Yelp
Early weeknight supper. Ordered a negroni and almost choked on the first sip. The cocktail had been pour, not stirred and the top third was pure gin. Good, just unexpected. Once I stirred it up and let it sit for a few minutes, it tasted like a negroni. Prego. The mushroom and sausage pasta was good, with the pasta cooked al dente. Well done, The special swordfish was dry, and was trying to be revived by a roasted tomato sauce. Acceptable, just not very "special" as a special. Wine list expensive as is everything on the menu - oops I forget this is Aspen. Place was dimly lit with comfortable tables. Service was very good.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service at the bar however the food lacks much to be desired. Very disappointed with every course.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
I know Aspen is expensive but $29 calamari - give me a break! It was good calamari, I'll give 'em that. You can tell when it's the frozen kind but I think this was fresh. But still, $29 seems excessive! And basic pasta in the high 20s and low 30s is too much also. Oh and the manager person is so pretentious. We show up with a party of four and the place is at best 1/3 full. We tell him we don't have a reservation and he turns up his nose and acts like he's doing a favor seating us. They could probably half the staff and cut prices. But what do I know, maybe they need to be ready for a group of 20 rich people to show up unannounced.
google avatar

Ryder L.

Yelp
So good. The food is elite and the service is great. Vodka pasta and the Sausage one are the best. I definitely recommend people to try this restaurant and I need to come back!

Yelp
Most of the other reviews are correct, this place is just OK but is $$$$. We ordered the Burrata which was good but the bread they served with it was hard as a rock. They had bread you could order off the menu which was different so we had to get that for an additional cost. We tried 3 pastas - the vodka, shrimp pasta, and the mushroom ravioli. The mushroom was by far the standout. Shrimp one tasted like it came from Olive Garden. The vodka one was good but it was very salty. Two service annoyances. I noticed after he ran our card that he had charged us for a wine that was double the price of the one we actually ordered. $13 vs $33 for a glass. He had to void it and re charge us. I also asked if he could split one glass of wine and a pasta on my work credit card so I could expense a portion of the meal and he said he couldn't. I'm over this new wave of not splitting bills. This wasn't even complicated to do. I definitely would choose other Aspen restaurants when I visit next.

Yelp
The $$$ is no lie but it is Aspen.... I really like my spinach gnocchi. It's simple and clean and you can tell it's FRESH. I didn't feel bloated or regrets after. If you're spending that Aspen money, you might as well spend it in a cute courtyard with good Italian food.

Don B.

Yelp
If you like really bad service, chewy calamari and under cooked risotto, this is the place!

Kevin F.

Yelp
Food was fine but when we asked for GF options and the manager couldn't be bothered - said we don't have room in the freezer for GF bread or options .... is this Guy a dinosaur or what . Yes the restaurant has been there 80 years but have you heard of beta max or the samsung flip phone.... the attitude was arrogant and entitled ..... I would avoid as there are many other better Aspen options .......so sorry to see these guys fail.

Yelp
We had such a good experience here for dinner. I went with a friend who used to live in Aspen and she recommended this. We sat in the bar area which she said was more interesting than in the dining room. I loved both the beet salad and the pasta. Tried a cocktail, limoncello, and wine! Maybe that's what added to the good experience....ha! The service was friendly and the bar area seems like a place where locals gather. Our waiter also gave recommendations on where to go after dinner.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal. Great ambiance. It was recommended to us by someone we met in Snowmass. I would highly suggest going with a reservation.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
The food immaculate! The service is better than most you'll see around, but the AMBIANCE?! That's really what you're coming here for! 10/10. You must try this place.
google avatar

Emily Y.

Yelp
Not great for photos due to dim lighting. Great espresso martinis that have white chocolate liquor that makes it delish and creamy. They have gluten free pasta options. Our favorite dishes were the gluten-free carbonara, the muscles and the lamb. Have been before when in Aspen and highly recommend!

Yelp
Horrible voice messaging service. The voice message said, for reservations, call back after 3 pm and do not leave a voicemail. There is no other options when they're not picking up the phone? Call these idiots 5 times with no pickup.

Peter H.

Yelp
Excellent food excellent service. Restaurant filled up fast. The chicken parmigiana special was delicious. Enjoyed the special broccoli soup and the salad appetizer. Deserts were decadent. Would come back

Yelp
Every happy hour, dinner, and special event we have enjoyed at Campo have been memorable. The food is to die for, the ambience is warm and unpretentious, and the drinks of all varieties are perfection. The team has worked with me on two special milestone events to host a large group dinner of 12 and a full buyout of 72. Both events were handled with absolute precision and care. There is a reason locals love Campo and you may see a celebrity there to boot. Do not miss the opportunity to dine at this beloved Aspen haunt.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant. I have been coming here for 15+ years. I went tonight with some friends and family and had an amazing time, as always. Our waiter, Serge, was very attentive and friendly. He made us feel right at home. The food was delicious. The veal chop, penne vodka, paparadelle bolognese, burrata, calamari, eggplant Parm : all so delightful. The staff was so kind and you could really sense their love and appreciation for one another. Seeing employees laugh and enjoy each others company really elevates a dining experience. This is a must go while in Aspen. The food, the ambiance, the service, chefs kiss

Yelp
We had no problem getting an early reservation which I feel I should mention because other Yelp reviewers seemed to indicate reservations in general were difficult to come by. We got a lovely outdoor table. Everyone from the host to the busboys was beyond delightful, taking time for small talk and jovial joking. All of this is to say that though this is what I would call a fine dining establishment it was not stuffy. Now onto what most would say is the important thing, the food. Well, the bread placed at the table was quite good, often an indication of what one might expect to follow. So, we started with the Autenelle appetizer, a lovely vegetable plate with roasted butternut squash and more. Even my husband who is not a fan of squash liked it very much, I suppose that's why it's the one veggie on the plate I can recall. We followed that with the fettuccine with spring and sugar snap peas and a touch of lemon, it was light yet satisfying, very good. We also enjoyed the fish of the day, barramundi, which was served with a tasty artichoke sauce over vegetables. It was cooked to perfection and was quite delicious, I'd personally have preferred more veggies but the serving size, I'm sure, would have been adequate for most. Finally, we had a dessert, I can't recall the name but, it was decadently divine. We wolfed the dessert down (who wouldn't?) forgetting to take a pic. All of the food was presented beautifully. For drinks we had a Skinny Jalapeño (good), a cappuccino and an espresso (excellent).

Yelp
We had reservations at 5:30. We were the only ones at the restaurant. I believe it was the owner that sat us in the middle of the restaurant. There was no acknowledgement from anyone else that we were at the table except for a person pouring our water. It's now 5:40 and still no waiter to greet us. We're still the only couple in the restaurant. I saw a waiter in my sight playing with his nose. Then 3 other waiters discussing who was going to wait on which tables. Still no service. Then the owner started arranging tables around us with the help of all those waiters that were standing around doing nothing. We got up and left. I guess we weren't good enough or have the right complexion to dine in this restaurant. We took our money elsewhere to Casa Tua where the owner welcomed us! I'm glad it worked out this way. The food at Casa Tua was fabulous!

Yelp
Came here during our stay in Aspen. When we arrived we waited at the front for 5 minutes until I asked a waiter if we sit down ourselves or will someone seat us. He said to wait there as the owner will seat us. The owner was literally looking at us the entire time as soon as we walked in. However he was too busy talking to someone then to greet and welcome in a new customer. After the waiter told him we needed a seat, he quickly sat us right next to the kitchen in a high trafficked area. Anyways, bad first impression. Then we ordered the meatballs and to be honest that is the only amazing thing this offers and that is why I give 3 stars (for the meatballs deserve more). Then we got the pappardelle (super dry, barely any sauce) and the zucchini noodles (very small, but tasty). Overall, this place has bad service and is way over priced. You'd fine better luck somewhere else.

Yelp
Campo de Fiori is Aspen's neighborhood little Italian gem. Rustic, cozy and very attentive service is the standard at Campo. Giuseppe's RAVIOLI FUNGHI stole my heart and "that's Amore." Grazie mille Elizabeth & Giuseppe for your gracious hospitality. Ciao The Brigante's

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere! Fun music and dancing later at night. Food was incredible! Bronzino was 10/10. Our server was excellent and I'm top of it the entire time. Will go back next Aspen trip.

Yelp
I was so happy indoor dining opened when I visited Aspen. We wanted good Italian food and this place did not disappoint. We opted for a mix of appetizers and shared a past which was super creamy and delicious.

Jackie M.

Yelp
Tables inside are a you bit close but I really enjoyed the patio with the warm space heaters. Excellent Atunnale salad with roasted vegetables and love the mushroom ravioli. paparadelle Bolognese was only mediocre. Super Tuscan wine by the glass was excellent. All the staff were very nice.

Yelp
Great place! The ambiance was warm, cozy, chic, quaint. The food was excellent. Service was top notch. Would definitely go back!

Mary L.

Yelp
Thank you so much Elizabeth and Campo di Fiori staff! My husband and I were thrilled with everything about the dinner. The room was perfect for the size of the event, cozy and intimate, the perfect combination for the bridal party to gather and get to know one another. Beth and Aspen Branch came through with gorgeous table arrangements, colorful and simple elegance that we were able to repurpose for the Sunday brunch. The food was spectacular and family-style serving again just added to the relaxed atmosphere of the party. Your wait staff was over-the-top attentive. Couldn't be happier! Thank you again!

Yelp
Very good restaurant in Aspen. Staff is professional and friendly and food is great. We left our credit card by mistake and they called us the next day to say they had it. Very nice to see such honesty. I had PAPPARDELLE BOSCAIOLA, and my husband had the RAVIOLI FUNGHI. We were really impressed with the food and service. A very busy place with high energy. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The owner reviewed a review i posted about a terrible experience i had to live at this place, turning things around and accusing me of doing many things i didn't do like mocking a waiter that was completely intoxicated, yelling and inviting me to fight. This is a lie! Who am I to mock a person that is working? I think this back commenting is completely out of place. She says this is a fake review and that it has been taken out, also lie, the review was up all this time, no reason to take it down. I was at campo di fiori about a year ago and got yelled at and kicked out of the place by a person for trying to get chairs to sit down for my wife and I, no one held any dood open or did anything to deserve that kind of treat. It's ridiculous and very unprofessional, specially knowing the story, like she did. Im not a fake person and much less a disrespectful one. Take it as you want, i have no need on making fake reviews. Since i cannot answer her message, here's another 1 star for your completely out of place excuse saying nothing but lies. Thanks to this attitude of yours, I finally understand the meaning of "cringe". If your staff was so good and educated, none of this would happened.

Yelp
Tucked in an out of the way part of downtown Aspen, this place is quietly amazing. The food was fresh and delicious! Like every other Aspen restaurant, it is expensive but my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here.
google avatar

Betty K.

Yelp
Our waiter was great. Friendly and attentive. The restaurant was cold (bring two sweaters), dark (bring your phone light; and no, we are not old- we are in our forties), and we were packed like sardines in there. Tables were so tight. And no one is masked- not the front desk, coat check, waitstaff, busboys, no one. Food was ok but I can make pasta like this at home. Calamari was not worth getting. Salad was marginally better than an airplane salad- doused in powdered parm and the prosciutto bits literally tasted like "bit o bacon." The interior was beautiful- nice murals on wall- just wish it was a little warmer and a little more spaced out so I could eat without touching someone at the next table. I couldn't pull my seat out an inch without hitting the person behind me. We left early- part way into our pasta course because it just was not enjoyable. Will not be returning.

Dan M.

Yelp
Great venue for hosted event with client. Special recognition for paying attention to gluten free customer (me) throughout the evening. Great food, great ambience, and amazing service.

Niki C.

Yelp
My fave spot in Aspen, I've been coming for as long as I can remember and Dave is awesome!
google avatar

Michele C.

Yelp
Campo is my favorite Aspen restaurant as I love the warm and friendly vibe throughout and a great buzz and energy in the bar. The food is absolutely delicious and never disappoints. I also appreciate that it is locally owned and many of the staff have been here for years. There are so many new restaurants in town but none have the wonderful ambiance and welcoming and fun atmosphere that Campo offers!
google avatar

Noah S.

Yelp
Extremely underwhelming. One dish had undercooked pasta and another dish was over salted. For this price point, there are multiple other better restaurants in Aspen. Save your money and steer clear. Only saving grace was the wine menu.

M C.

Yelp
The good reviews now look suspicious to me, are they even real? The biggest disappointment is that the olive oil was just in a huge open bottle on your table, without a cap/lid. It tasted stale. Geez, the owner doesn't have a common sense of how to storing food. Or, they just doesn't have the respect for food. Oils, exposed to air, will slowly go bad due to oxidation of the fatty acids. I wonder how long the oil has stayed on the table without being changed. Gross. After our dinner, I realized that the keyword "trendy" in the Yelp ambience section really means "chaotic and loud like a night club". If there is no "upscale" or "classy" in the section, that means the dinner is going to be anything but nice. Yep, that's the unspoken language in Aspen dinning industry. Service is lacking, food is mediocre. I guess any restaurant can just pop up in Aspen and people will throw money at it, because it doesn't hurt to put up lies for tourists and locals won't visit anyways. Don't waste your money or time here. Bring it somewhere else. Support the honest business.

Yelp
Elizabeth was amazing to work with in arranging our rehearsal dinner at Campo, and Srdjan was very attentive and ensured everything went smoothly the night of. Highly recommend the Community Dining room for private events of ~ 30 people. The food, drink, ambiance, and service were all perfect. Thank you to Elizabeth, Srdjan, and the whole Campo team!

Yelp
Usually a restaurant will have something less pleasing on the menu but absolutely everything here was the best version of that item I've had or equal to the best. We were a party of five and all ordered something different to sample and every plate was exceptional. So there are two restaurants in Aspen I think are the top places, and this is one of the two.

Kyra A.

Yelp
Such a fun restaurant! Food and atmosphere were 5 stars. The coat check attendant was so sweet and the perfect first face of the restaurant! I think her name was Jen. Will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Eilene W.

Yelp
We celebrated our37th anniversary at the restaurant. The vodka penne had prosciutto that had been fried and was very chewy. The vodka sauce was flavorful but sparse. The meatballs and spaghettii were delicious. The sauce again was sparse. They served crispy pre-packaged thin breadsticks. This may have been because of COVID but it was a detractor not a plus.

Yelp
Lovely dinner at this charming restaurant in Aspen. We loved their sister spot in Vail last year.. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender, Chris.. super nice guy.. then we met the owner, Elizabeth. What a doll. Food was great! We'll be back!

Nicole F.

Yelp
From my son's point of view: The bread is THE BEST BREAD EVER (if you have olive oil) and the meatballs are delicious and I absolutely recommend that you go :)
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent, every time. Over a decade of going to Aspen mostly for work and occasionally for play, Campo di Fiori has proven again and again to be a superior experience. The menus are inventive but grounded in enduring tradition and there's a warmth and authenticity in the service. When leading thinkers and dignitaries pour into Aspen for the Ideas Festival in late June, Campo is consistently a favorite that regulars return to, and with very good reason.

Jackie C.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Aspen. Service is excellent and every meal I have had there has been delicious. Get the eggplant parmigiana - so good!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I booked Campo di Fiori for my 50th birthday dinner celebration. Elizabeth was incredible! She was always available, responded quickly and provided me with amazing options for food and beverages. She was also super friendly and so informative. When I arrived, the room was arranged perfectly (as she had given me a heads up on the arrangement, etc). We had control over the music - so we were able to set the tone for the celebration and felt at home the second we walked in. So let's talk about the food...Giuseppe is a GENIUS! Everything was delicious! The salads were fresh and crisp, the pastas were cooked to perfection and the sauce - still makes my mouth water thinking about it. We had incredible salmon and chicken paillard and mussels and burrata and zucchini pasta and penne with spicy sausage - EVERY ITEM WAS AMAZING!!! I mean, I know this place is authentic - the chef (Giuseppe) is from Napoli - he knows his stuff and so does Elizabeth. They are genius. In addition, the cocktails were superb. The ambience was spectacular! The people (patrons and waiters) were so amazing and friendly. The energy of this place is perfection! Everyone had the best evening. We had planned to have dinner and leave to go to JBar and Escobar but we were having too much fun - so we stayed at Campo di Fiori until closing. AMAZING STAFF AMAZING FOOD AMAZING AMBIENCE AMAZING ENERGY - YOU HAVE TO COME HERE!

Yelp
I want to thank Campo for continuing to serve our community through all of the Covid challenges. We had my mothers 79th birthday there the day that they reopened, our first meal out in months and it was fantastic. The staff was as engaging as always and the food was excellent. They followed all protocols and we felt super safe. Their new online menu and curbside pickup have been fantastic. All food prepared to perfection and seamless. It is a time that we need to support locally owned businesses. These guys have been there for Aspen for 20 plus years with much of the same staff. Thanks Campo Lizzy, Dave and Co
