The 18 Best Restaurants in Ibiza | Eater

"Hidden away in an idyllic corner of San Josep, chef Giuseppe Vivacqua prepares some of the island’s finest Italian food. Dishes skew Calabrian, but the menu also features nods to regional cuisines across Italy, made with a mix of imported ingredients and organic produce from the restaurant’s own garden. The rotating roster of house-made pastas is always a highlight. [$$]" - Christopher English

What I love about Ibiza is that this island never stops surprising me! Even after having been here for the past 25 years, I keep discovering new places. This restaurant is less than a kilometre from one of the main highways, yet it’s nicely hidden in a rural area. Spacious, with a great atmosphere, and serving very well-balanced food with an Italian touch. We started with seafood fritura; I had suckling pig for the main course, while my wife had spaghetti with truffles. Special thanks to our waiter, Philippe, who was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Perched atop a local mountain top, Can Domingo was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the scene set the tone for an unforgettable evening—golden sunsets fading into a starlit sky, lanterns hanging from the trees, and a warm Mediterranean breeze that made the whole setting feel like a dream. The ambiance is intimate yet vibrant, with rustic elegance and natural beauty blending seamlessly with modern comfort. Tables are perfectly spaced among olive and palm trees, softly lit to create a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. The service was impeccable—attentive, genuine, and unhurried. Each course was timed perfectly, and the staff’s passion for both the food and the experience shone through in every interaction. The food completely exceeded expectations. Every plate was a work of art, both visually and in flavor. Fresh, seasonal ingredients were elevated into dishes that balanced creativity with tradition. From the delicate starters to the beautifully plated mains and desserts, each bite was layered, thoughtful, and memorable. The wine pairings were equally well-chosen, enhancing the meal without ever overshadowing it. This is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Can Domingo truly deserves a Michelin star. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, where food, wine, and conversation flow effortlessly, and where every detail feels curated with love. If you’re in Ibiza, this is an absolute must.

We were truly amazed with the quality of the food, as well as the beautiful scenery. The steak was perfectly cooked and the pasta was out of this world. We also loved the Frito Mixto it was definitely one of the best dishes! 5 star meal.

A really lovely Italian restaurant in Ibiza! The dishes are beautifully prepared, and it’s great that they have a special truffle menu. They also offer an excellent selection of Italian red wines, and the staff are very friendly.

Wonderful Italian restaurant located in a secluded area. The service and the food were amazing! Great gluten free options! Gluten-free bread is available as well as gluten free pasta. Worth the visit

My husband and I have always loved Can Domingo, their amazing food and the friendly people that work there. It’s located in a beautiful, green and quiet valley. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. We visit Ibiza at least once a year and always try to have dinner here. Two years ago we got married on Ibiza and hosted our pre-night drinks in the beautiful garden of Can Domingo. It was private, there was a sunset, it had romantic lights, Italian snacks, good wines and pleasant service. Our guests enjoyed it as well! We can definitely recommend this place to everyone for romantic dinners or events! All the best to Alessandro, his brothers and the team! Keep on rocking! See you next time! ♥️ Tom & Valerie

We had a wonderful wedding at Can Domingo. Alessandro was at our disposal for every little detail during the entire planning and helped us to make our ideas a reality. The whole location has a lot of charm, the food is very tasty and there is something for everyone, including gluten-free/vegan. We would recommend Can Domingo to everyone for a wedding reception or any other celebration/meal - it's just fantastic and the team is great! Claudia & Joel

Very mediocre, tasteless and overpriced food. We ordered the risotto and 3 meats ravioli and the first thing we did was put salt on it since it was completely tasteless. Most dishes (both pastas and mains) are +40€ and half of the pastas are 60€ 😂 for a pasta that tastes like I made it home or worse. Cute place and ambient. Just another cute overpriced not-worth-it for-the-food Ibiza restaurant.
