Can Domo

"Can Domo occupies a 17C former peasant farmer’s house that exudes the true essence of the Mediterranean and is now run as an “agroturismo” property. This is the headquarters of the Cañitas Maite group in Ibiza, so the cuisine here is overseen by award-winning chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo, who are strong advocates of native vegetables and other ingredients sourced from the archipelago. The à la carte, which features an impressive selection of rice dishes at lunchtime and more gastronomically inspired dishes in the evening, is complemented by a tasting menu." - Michelin Inspector

Beautifully tucked away in the middle of Ibiza’s countryside is Can Domo. A stylish and unique agroturismo offering everything you need for a pleasant stay on Ibiza. They have a delicious food menu with very creative dishes and high quality local ingredients. The pool is large and well maintained. The entire staff is very kind and welcoming. Everything is perfectly managed and you can just focus on enjoying your holiday. I felt like at home right away which is the most important factor when travelling abroad. Thank you Can Domo for the hospitality and the unforgettable experience !

Disappointing and overpriced. My husband and I were really looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary here after reading the glowing reviews and seeing the Repsol and Michelin mentions. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The food was below average, the service was nothing special, and the pricing felt completely unjustified. A mediocre dish of cod at €65 and grilled artichokes at €30? Absolutely not worth it. It felt like we were paying for a fine dining experience, but received something closer to a very average local bistro. We had a glass of wine from Galicia and that was the only one thing that we really liked. We didn’t stay for dessert – we just wanted to leave and try to salvage our anniversary evening somewhere else. Hugely underwhelming.

Can Domo is a beautiful agroturismo tucked away in the countryside. It is beautifully designed and furnished. The staff is very kind and attentive and will make you feel like at home right away. The restaurant is top-notch with a very extensive selection of dishes and fresh local products, they have their own garden and use their own olive oil. The pool is perfect for a refreshment and so is the outdoor Roof showers in selected rooms. I can only highly recommend this for a remarkable experience on ibiza.

“Can Don’t-Go” Nicely designed hotel with strong aesthetics—very pleasant on the eye. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The service throughout our stay was awful. There was a power cut in the area, which the local municipality resolved quickly, but the hotel staff seemed to use this as an excuse for every other issue and poor service - the worst… no real effort to resolve problems from management. Lights flicking for 3 days. Air-conditioning not working for 3 days. WiFi unreliable. Seating area in private bungalow area disappeared after night one. No towel refreshed in 3 days. Room bins not emptied any of the days and the list goes on… We stayed for three nights (3.5 days) and found ourselves actively avoiding the hotel for most of our trip. By contrast, we had stayed at the nearby Mondrian just two nights before, at a similar price point, and found the experience far superior in every respect. If you’re considering spending €350 per night, I would recommend looking elsewhere—unless you only care about looks and design, rather than service or overall experience.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Ibiza – Can Domo Agroturismo Can Domo was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ibiza — a true hidden treasure nestled among the fields, far from the noise of modern life. This agroturismo offers a unique blend of rustic charm and understated luxury. The atmosphere is chic yet relaxed, with a refined elegance that never feels pretentious. What makes this place truly special is its connection to the land. They grow their own vegetables in the garden, which are beautifully incorporated into the dishes. The menu features exquisite meats and fresh fish, prepared with creativity and care. Every course crafted by the chef was a celebration of Mediterranean flavor — thoughtful, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. A heartfelt shout-out to Federico, our waiter, whose kindness and professionalism made our evening unforgettable. He brought warmth and attentiveness to the table, helping to turn our anniversary dinner into a truly memorable occasion. The service overall was impeccable. Every detail was carefully observed — glasses never empty, timing always perfect, and great attention to our allergies to ensure a safe and seamless experience. The wine recommendation was excellent, and the complimentary Yerbas at the end of the meal was a lovely final touch. This place has soul. It’s a destination in itself, one that embodies the spirit of Ibiza in the most elegant and grounded way. I can’t wait to return.

Restaurant Only Review: My wife and I visited this restaurant because it was listed in the Michelin Guide, holds one Repsol Sun, and had many positive reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations at all. The starters were nothing more than overpriced vegetables with a bland and forgettable sauce. The main course, a sole fish which is a flat white fish, was mediocre at best. We chose not to order dessert because, by that point, we did not want to risk another disappointment at an overcharged price. One side dish priced at 14 euros was simply plain lettuce. I have never seen a restaurant, Michelin-starred or not, charge that much for plain lettuce. Another side dish, patatas bravas also priced at 14 euros, turned out to be deep-fried potato chips. In all honesty, I have had better ones from a supermarket. The restaurant tries to present itself as something it simply is not. While the ambiance is pleasant and the wine selection was solid, the food was uninspired and completely unworthy of the price point. It felt like a low-end experience marketed as fine dining. The one true highlight is the work of the gardener and architect. The space is beautifully designed and visually impressive. This experience is a clear reminder that online accolades and glowing reviews are not always to be trusted.

Really disappointing experience. Rooms are not cleaned well daily. Cobwebs on the walls was all vacation. They simply imitate cleaning. WiFi doesn’t work properly. Electricity as well. Service of the reception staff was frustrating. Zero help. Attitude not service oriented, simply ignorant. Breakfast is super basic for what they claim. The only good - is a view from the place. As summery location do not worth money to spend and time to visit.

One of the best paella we ever had. Hotel is also nicely designed. Unfortunately we only had a 2night stay.
