"Can Domo occupies a 17C former peasant farmer’s house that exudes the true essence of the Mediterranean and is now run as an “agroturismo” property. This is the headquarters of the Cañitas Maite group in Ibiza, so the cuisine here is overseen by award-winning chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo, who are strong advocates of native vegetables and other ingredients sourced from the archipelago. The à la carte, which features an impressive selection of rice dishes at lunchtime and more gastronomically inspired dishes in the evening, is complemented by a tasting menu." - Michelin Inspector

Food was ok, although it seemed they were trying to do too much, the flavours seemed quite overpowering. Service was ok, but was slow to serve and we weren’t exactly sure who our waiter was as they kept changing, it wasn’t even busy at the time. Ambience was nice although we had to ask them to turn the light off directly above us as it was too bright and I kept getting bitten by mosquitoes…

Great place, great team (special thanks to samantha), amazing food. We tried both - breakfast and dinner. The old buildings are renovated with a good and careful feeling of architecture in combination with the nature. Thank you for a very romantic and calm stay.

We came here for my parter’s 40th birthday lunch, we had the Galacian beef paella, the famous croquettes and the broccoli and asparagus. It was absolutely incredible, the food was delicious, the service was brilliant and the scenery is just perfect. I would definitely recommend!

This dining establishment is an absolute gem. The food, service, wine selection. I’m floored it is not a 1 ⭐️ Michelin restaurant. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and well trained. The food is 1- local true and through 2- fresh, dynamic and creative combinations 3- portions were not skimpy by any means and we had the short menu. Would highly recommend to anyone willing to try. Will be back when in Ibiza!

So glad we opted for the tasting menu at 125€ each which was seven courses ( plus three extra small dishes to start). Every dish was a winner for me ( the artichokes my least favourite) but especially the beetroot gazpacho with almonds, the sea bass and the pork. Great, and affordable wine list- (loved the ultraia red by the glass). Perfect service and all in an outdoor setting - plus only had to wait ten minutes for a taxi ride home. Really talented chef and a team who’ve been running this restaurant for a relatively short time so advise coming here whilst he’s on the ride up and it’s amazing value for the experience.

We stayed for 6 blissful nights at this hidden gem. The hotel is small with only 9 rooms. The room we had was spacious and had a plunge pool. You can hear the people in the room above at times but thankfully it’s an adults only place with quiet couples mostly. The restaurant on site is fantastic and the included breakfast was delicious. We had drinks and food poolside which never disappointed. The hotel smells great, has plush beds and towels and every little detail has been mindfully thought of to create serenity and comfort. The beach and pool towels along with the fantastic daily maid service were amazing. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Make sure you book a massage in the domo, it was incredible. The pool has comfortable beds and there is plenty of hidden seating areas. Make sure you come here for a few days to discover it all.

This review is for the restaurant only. The food was mind-blowing, and the location stunning. The reason why I only leave 4 stars is that they can definitely improve the service. The staff was polite and friendly, but a little bit over the top.

After seeing Can Domo online, we were really excited to stay here for our mini moon but unfortunately ended up leaving early & disappointed. ||We paid around £350 a night, so we definitely expected some level of luxury but unfortunately the room and facilities just didn’t match up to this. When we arrived our room immediately smelt of mould and damp. We checked the bedding which were damp and both of the sofas, cushions were all wet to the touch. The whole room felt unclean & it was so dark. We went to reception hoping to find a solution but we were met with an unapologetic manager full of excuses. In the end she said, ‘yeah well I’m just use to it’ which summed up the bad attitude. This interaction ruined our stay here and made us feel uncomfortable the following days. They did change the bedding for us in the end but that’s something we’d expect to have been sorted before we arrived. ||The room we stayed in had some serious humidity issues too. We had to use a humidifier for the whole of our stay, which had to be emptied out twice a day because of the amount of moisture. It was basically like living in a cave. We also had a small private pool with our room but it was dirty on arrival and only cleaned once during our stay. Towards the end of the stay it was so dirty we didn’t even use it. ||We checked out a day early, which was super disappointing. The surroundings of Can Domo are beautiful but it’s overpriced. We’ve stayed in small hotels with similar prices before and they are in a different league. Wouldn’t recommend.
