"Can Martí is a very informal restaurant in the mountains, best accessed by a hike along the Carretera de las Aigües, a dirt road where people from Barcelona go to jog, bike, and walk their dogs. Accordingly, it offers great views of the city. The food is simple, with dishes like tortilla de patata, judías blancas, barbequed meat, salads, and barbequed calçots. It’s essential to reserve in advance, and if it’s calçot season, reserve those, too."

We don’t have a car, so we walked about one kilometer from the nearest train station to reach this lovely restaurant perched on a small hill. This time, we didn’t have a reservation, but we were kindly informed that if we book in advance, we can request a window seat. They also explained politely that it might not always be possible depending on the day’s reservation situation, which we appreciated. The staff members we interacted with were all very warm and attentive, making our visit feel relaxed and welcoming. The tripe was slightly salty, but in a good way—the flavor gradually unfolded in the mouth and really whetted the appetite. The steak was cooked exactly to our liking, simply seasoned with salt to highlight the meat’s natural flavor. With its scenic hilltop location and thoughtful service, we’re already looking forward to coming back—and next time, we’ll be sure to make a reservation and try for a window seat.

Super fun & great experience! The waiter was super attentive & the views of the city were incredible. We walked down from the bus stop to get to Mont Tibidabo, and it was a beautiful walk - we even ran into a wild boar (who stayed far from but was still cool!). The food was good & pretty cheap, but the views and local experience are what we stayed for. We got sangria, octopus, and some meats & had amazing views, I think it would have been cool to stay through sunset, but we wanted to get home. I would highly recommend.

If you’re coming all the way up there for the food…better change your plans. It’s very basic, very simple (which in this case is not a compliment) fare. Sausage with potatoes. Canned beans with not a trace of an attempt to make them more interesting: a swirl of good olive oil? A pinch of spice? Literally nothing. Trust the local: you can have this kind of food anywhere else, without climbing the hill. It’s expensive for what it is, too. Now, if you absolutely MUST come for the view, come not too hungry, order wine and share a botifarra with gorgonzola, at least this one has some interesting twist. And don’t order deserts, even if they are said to be homemade. It’s just a waste of money.

The calçots menu at 38.50€ seemed pricey for the portion size, and the chicken and butifarra were somewhat undercooked. However, the delightful surroundings and the city view from the mountain managed to lift the overall experience. My suggestion: Grab a filling breakfast before going for a light lunch!!!

Hiked up to Tibidabo today and on the way down, looked for local food and found this amazing restaurant. If you are walking there are signs on the way. You can also drive there. The restaurant is nestled on the side of a hilltop and has fantastic views. The service was fantastic, 😍 I had the day mene and went for the Calçots followed with Butifarra sausage, white beans and potatoes. Delicioso 😋 all cooked on charcoal grill, had a long trip back otherwise would have stayed for the good band that was playing. Looking forward to visiting again. ❤️

This was really a wonderful restaurant to enjoy calcots or barbecue. We have to reserve the table earlier. We went together for calcotada it was fantastic. Luckily during our visit they organised a concert and it was really a memorable one. I believe the concert was getting organized by Sundays, it is better to call the restaurant and ensure the concert is available.food was good and service was really good.

Yelp
A fabulous Sunday brunch. The food is grilled: lots of different meats, some nice vegetables. This place is a forever taxi ride from downtown, and it's hard to find. Result: no tourists, just locals. It's high in the hills above Barcelona. The weather is several degrees cooler, the view over Barcelona to the Mediterranian is spectacular. The most expensive plate is 30Euros. The place is funky rustic. The area is worth the walk to the funicular to get back to town. Rural, with lots of small villas dotting winding roads. Go if you can. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Delicious local Catalan food. Semi-slow service. Only one person understood English at all. Almost exclusively locals.
