My friend and I went here tonight and we had the best time. The space is cozy and intimate, the wine was great, happy hour all night on Mondays, snacks and dessert were perfect for an affordable price. Try it out!

Cute little wine bar in an old house. Very cozy! Great for date night, or grabbing some wine with girlfriends. They have an outdoor patio in the back with fire pits, so it’s a great spot in both the colder and warmer months. The wine, as you can imagine, is great and there’s a wide selection.

LOVELY place to stop in and relax with a glass of wine! Either on your own or with friends! The owner is super kind and hospitable. Definitely coming back!

Cana is great! We come here for all day Monday happy hour. The owner is friendly, the space feels cozy, and the charcuterie plates are substantial. It’s definitely worth checking out!

I adore this wine bar. It is such a hidden gem. They have amazing wine from all over the world, at very affordable prices. The cheese boards and small bites are perfect. The atmosphere is fantastic too, it just feels like you’re sitting in someone’s cozy house or on a friends back patio. Lastly, the service is second to none! Dan-o is so friendly and helpful if you need wine recommendations. Cana is simply the best!

This place is fantastic. It's got a cozy feel and is very inviting to meet some new people. Naomi was our bartender she was so cool and she kept our drinks full. She was funny and very engaging. The wine here was incredible and there wasn't a wine I didn't like. I would totally recommend this place as a chill hangout, to drink and get together with friends.

If you love wine... or are looking to impress on a first date, this little gem is the spot! A wonderful selection of whites, reds, bubbles and even nonalcoholic options. Nibbles are available but I would definitely make dinner reservations for after happy hour. Fridays are pour and 1/2! This quaint spot has outdoor seating and fire pit, art filled walls (art for sale) and indoor seating for intimate conversation. I think this place is now on date night top of my list!

The coziest, most perfect place on Broadway! I enjoyed a glass of wine with the gals here. Whether you're looking for a couch to sink into while guzzling a bold cab sauv, or want to enjoy a crisp sauvy B on the back patio, this is your spot. Great service too; the bartender working was very attentive and kind. I'll definitely be back soon!

Cute little spot nestled on a busy street. This place is very unimposing and you might walk right by it since it's inside of an old house. We wanted to check out a cozy wine bar and this fit the bill perfectly. This place is still set up a bit like a house with different rooms to sit in. The front room is larger, there's a side room, a middle room (where we sat) and a rear room. So it's definitely a good spot for a small group or date night. They have a nice selection and can do flights as well (which were still pretty decent pours for smaller pours). The gentleman working there was friendly and helpful as far as explaining the different wines/varietals. We sat in the middle room which is unfortunately near the bathroom, but honestly you don't really hear anything and there is a room screen/wall thing which is a really good touch. Prices were reasonable and I really enjoyed the prosecco (cava? champagne? I can't remember oops). Really nice blend. I would definitely come back for another date night or with a friend or two.

What a hidden gem! Right by our home. It's a super cozy older home with lots of wood and places to sit both inside and out. We order a beautiful bottle of wine and the charcuterie board. Both were delicious! One person working and she was gracious and wonderful. Sounds like they are rarely busy but last night it was nearly full. We will definitely be back!

We ordered the Rosé of the Day for Happy Hour, which was excellent. Happy hour on Wednesday gets you a small plate of hummus or cheese. We had hummus with chips and carrots, and a small charcuterie plate. Pretty decent serving for two people. We sat outside, which was nice. About 5 different tables and chair areas. Three umbrellas and one fire pit. I will definitely be back.

What a cool little place. A wine bar in a house that has multiple nooks so you can have a private drink or more open spots such as the small bar. An excellent variety of wines to choose from as well as cocktails with quality spirits. Our bartender was very knowledgeable about wine and the pours were generous.

It was my first time at this location. The vibe is that they turned a house into a location where you can enjoy wine and food. The service from Naomi was good. You can pick a room of the house or backyard and enjoy a unique experience. The backyard has a fire pit. And one of the front rooms has a fire place going. We ordered some red wine and a small cheese plate. We also enjoyed a cheesecake at the end of our dining experience. My wife loves this location. I personally don't have any desire to come back. I would rather just have wine at home. To each their own. 5 stars is the final review statistic.

Good wine, cozy vibe, and really good charcuterie boards! Our server was very down-to-earth and happy to guide my friends who were not familiar with wine. The interior makes you feel like you're literally dining inside of someone's house in a relaxing way.

This is a cute place. I went with a group and we were in a private room. I got a wine flight and enjoyed them all. I thought the small charcuterie board was reasonably priced. I would've preferred to have some choice in the cheeses and some of the olives were a little mushy, but good overall.

If you want to have an off-beat, cozy experience, this wine bar would be it. We very much had the private back room for quiet conversation. Was very nice.

This is one of our favorite, hidden gem spots to go for special occasion celebrations. The ambiance is cozy as it's an old house converted into a wine bar. Outside patio is great for nicer days. Service is also always great. Nice wine selection - we really enjoy ourselves every time we've visited!

I have been here on two occasions, one with a group of coworkers and again taking a good friend. It has been wonderful both times! The service is outstanding and the place itself is so cute and quaint. It really feels like you're having wine with a good friend at home. The wine selection is very nice and they run weekly specials. I will continue to come here and make this recommendation, it has not disappointed.

So excited to have found a good wine bar in Denver! My old favorite closed down and I hadn't found a good replacement until now. My husband and I tried a cab and a cab blend along with a meat and cheese board. It was all delicious and fairly priced. The atmosphere was also classy yet cozy. We sat in the back room which feels like a home away from home. Service was friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

I decided to check out Cana Wine bar for happy hour on Monday with some friends and was pleasantly surprised with this gem on Broadway! The initial attraction to Cana was their special of happy hour all night on Mondays. I mean, who doesn't love happy hour specials--especially one that runs all night?! And FYI, they offer happy hour all night Monday and Tuesday and from 4:30 - 6:30pm Wednesday through Friday. Cana Wine Bar is located on South Broadway in a cute house. Once we walked in, you notice the cozy and laid back ambiance. There are a lot of different seating arrangements that can accommodate small or large groups. In the middle of the home is where the bar is located and the staff. We were greeted upon arrival and sat close to the bar. After hearing a list of the specials, we tried out their rose which was great. I ended up settling on a Brazilian cabernet sauvignon that had a lot of body and flavor. The special was half off for the entire bottle, so it was perfect to split with a friend. Otherwise, they have a lot of different varieties to choose from. We also ordered a large plate of charcuterie which didn't last long. It came with five different types of cheeses: brie, smoked gouda, saged cow's milk cheese (green one in my picture), manchego, and a NY cheddar. It also came paired with salami, a variety of crackers, marinated olives and dove chocolates. The plate worked well for us, however if you're really hungry and needing a hearty meal I would recommend eating before you come here for a drink. If you're looking for a wine bar in the Denver area, look no further! The staff here are knowledgable, friendly and helped us have a great experience. I enjoyed how cozy and intimate this place is--definitely a great place for a date or to catch up with some friends. I did not get a chance to check out their outdoor area but will definitely be back to explore it another time. With their specials running all day Monday and Tuesday, Cana Wine Bar is a great HH spot you need to check out!

Wonderful neighborhood spot for a glass of wine. It's fairly small but there is also a nice patio in the back. Great selection of wines and helpful manager.

Sure, Colorado wines are cute and I like how they add things to the wine like cranberries to give it a certain Style. But California and French wines are such a better purity off the vine. If you're looking for a good wine, I recommend coming by Cana wine bar. I also like that it feels as if your in your friend's house and he's giving you the best of his best selection of wines. The out door fire pit is nice as well.

Super cute wine bar off Broadway! Feels like you are going to someone's house when you first see it. Inside is setup super cozy and not a ton of people so it felt like our own private patio in the back. The server was super attentive and gave good recommendations! We ordered a flight and got to choose which ones we wanted to try. All of the wine we tasted was amazing! Highly suggest the Zinfandel.

What a cute little joint. House turned wine bar, Cana is cozy and small. They offer a flight of 3 wines for $19 and most other single glasses are comparable to those at other bars, restaurants, etc. Pretty slow on a Saturday night which means we go great care and to sit wherever we liked. Good selection, fair price, nice staff. I'll be back if I'm in south Denver again soon.

Loved the wines! Super awkward service-- stiff and hostile are the best words to describe. It was weird walking in the front door-- my friends and I arrived at separate times and all agreed on feeling profoundly unwelcome. Tried to turn it around by being extra kind to the person who took our order, but we were still nudged to clear out so she could close, 45min before closing. I hope it was just a bad night!

I went with a some gals from my meetup group on recommendations from a friend. We had a lovely evening and were there for almost three hours it was so relaxing. Fortunately it was cool enough to sit out on the patio. While I don't drink, my companians almost all had more than one glass of wine and were very impressed. We also had the small cheese plate and hummus. We were glad that we got early, because by a litte after seven the the place was packed and even on the patio we couldn't hear ourselves. And I think the owner was handling it all by himself and he could have benefited from another person. But we enjoyed the food and wine, had a great time, and will definitely be going back there as a group at some point very soon.

Such a cute and cozy place to meet up with a friend. They have different HH deals each night. When we went the deal was a free cheese plate or hummus with the purchase of a bottle of wine. We bought some red wine and a cheese plate and thoroughly enjoyed our time in comfy chairs by the fireplace on a chilly day. The service is also wonderful! We met the owner who was very knowledgeable about the wine and made us feel very welcome.

Love the ambiance of this place, it's like having a glass of wine in a friends living room. Great wine selection as well, love the rose of the day offering! will most definitely be returning.

Great place!!!!! Extremely cozy setting and very friendly new owner. Love the home-setting which offers a variety of rooms / seating areas. Solid selection of snack foods and wines. My only wish is that it was closer to where we live!! We will be back though.

Quaint little place! Very low-key and chill place for good quality wine, cocktails and some nibbles, if you're omnivorous. I didn't see any vegan or vegetarian charcuterie options but I don't really expect that from a wine bar in Colorado. But, if they happened to decide to start offering it, I might make the trek down the hill a bit more frequently! We went for a friend's art show and had a great time. Very warm and inviting atmosphere, I would say its a great place for an intimate evening with a date or friend to catch up, it is not stuffy at all but I was also comfortable being dressy. Think date night starter, or "just drinks". Very cozy and plenty of restaurants nearby to continue your evening, which is what we did and it worked out perfectly. We would return!

When I reviewed Cana 2 years ago I loved the intimate space inside the house, and the cozy outdoor patio in the back. Nothing like it in Denver - and that is still the exact same. Cana has been purchased by Danno, who formerly ran Kate's Wine Bar in Littleton. He kept the intimate aspects of Cana I love, while providing an incredible upgrade in their wine list. Danno - amazing job!! (But seriously, not surprised at all!) If you're looking for an intimate space over wine (& now cocktails and soon more food options), Cana is wonderful. If you're looking for incredible wine by the glass or bottle, from one of the most knowledgeable & laid back wine enthusiasts here in Denver, you won't find a better man than Danno. This is hands down an incredible space, now run by one of the best. Enjoy Cana, and tell Danno I said hello. I'll be back to visit him again soon!

What a fun find on SOBO! A little wine bar...disguised as a house! This charming space is nooky and warm, inviting you in with cute little candles and lanterns, drenched in rich colored hues with plenty of comfy seating! Tuck yourself (and hopefully a date) into a little corner and order up a glass of something yummy- Our large group of 12 descended at Happy Hour, when the $5 wine pours were flowing, and had a most enjoyable time, though a group of 12 is a bit much for this little place. This s the perfect setting for two- two friends catching up, a romantic date, even a first date! Very sweet and romantic. Plus, there are yummy cheese and chocolate plates served up with adorable cork cheese labels, and yes- there are Whiskey and Tequila tastings! Come one, come all- The Cana Wine Bar secret is out!

I went this evening to this place. Parking was not a problem. The place is super cute, very charming and even romantic. Yes, it is a house but it is very nicely decorated to have a glass or two of wine. The wine options are ample enough as well and the price is very reasonable. Didn't try the food. If you like to drink wine and would like to have a lounge to enjoy it with friends, you have to come to this place.

I've been to Cana several times- it's a very cool, fun, casual wonderful Wine Bar. Set in a converted Victorian home, it's furnished to be cozy and comfortable - very intimate. The owners are super nice, and great wine experts- as low-key or fancy as you want to get. They've got a great outdoor patio with fire pit. A perfect spot for date night. Don't be put off by the neighborhood - inside it's a fabulous place to drink wine and be merry.

What a Gem of a find! The ambiance is wonderful! Different sitting rooms in a old fashion home, is a perfect place to enjoy fine wine, in a cozy setting. They also serve whiskey and beer for those that don't favor wine. The patio is inviting with a fire pit and several sitting areas. You can come with a date, play board game with friends, relax with a book, or enjoy casual conversation! I promise, you will not be disappointed when you come here!

Best service I've had post Covid. As well as the pino his picked for us was damn good ! Bottle came with a cheese platter that was paired w our wine. Can't wait to come back. Also has WiFi.

It's a funky little place with a remarkably unique atmosphere. They know their wines, but aren't at all pretentious in their presentation. I consider it a gem and an incentive to get past the homebound life I've gotten used to since the pandemic.

Tried HH with a group of friends and Cana did not disappoint. At-home like comfort, very cool ambiance. We cozied up around a coffee table and stayed way longer than planned! The wine was too good to leave, as was the cheese and meat platter. Definitely want to visit again sooner than later!

Highly recommend if your looking for a laid back, sit at home after work and have a glass of wine vibe. Dano took really good care of us. We will be back soon!

A few of us came here for a girl's night happy hour and we all loved it! This is a home that has been converted into an intimate wine bar. When you walk through the home there are several areas you can choose to hang out...Small spaces to a bit larger spaces (maybe 6 people max). Outside there is a fire pit with lots of chairs (you could have a bigger group out here). It is really cute and inviting! The serve delicious wine and our favorite was the bordeaux! If you are into wine and good patios, check this place out :)

Great service, great selection and a great patio! We love Cana. We really enjoy every time we go to cana. even if it's not a nice day to sit outside we enjoy the cozy feel of the inside. I have liked pretty much every wine I've gotten and the snacks are always good as well as the desserts!

Cozy in for a night because you literally feel like you're home! When you walk in, you're not sure if you should knock, it's that homey. Inside you find many charming sitting areas around each "bedroom" corner. A fire pit and seating area outback, called my name with a gorgeous stormy sky rolling in overhead. Dano served a well placed menu of Local creative touch drink beverages, cheese boards and beautiful wines- a French Cabernet Franc and a delicious Hungarian Tokaji white this time, seated in luscious black leather, playing the tiniest backgammon game, we celebrated 26 years in style. This will quickly become a second home!

Large selection of wines; flights available so you can try some options. Staff always helpful and friendly in helping you find something you'll enjoy. It's a great place to stop in for Happy Hour on the way to a dinner spot or on the way home from a long day at the office. Food wise; I wouldn't order the cheese plate again for the cost.
