"The Pinocchio doll on the shelf is a souvenir from the couple’s time in Italy. The chef studied cooking there, while his wife studied wine. Macallè-style risotto is a simple farmer’s dish, made more elegant with seasonings; Tokachi beef, from cows that have calved raised for this restaurant, is grilled over straw for aroma. The restaurant’s name is from the Japanese kanaderu, ‘to play an instrument’, and indeed the couple’s cuisine and wines make a beautiful harmony." - Michelin Inspector

Such a delicious and cute Italian restaurant super close to Tokyo Dome. We came here after the Taylor Swift concert during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The bolognese and cacio e pepe were perfectly al dente and so flavorful. The grilled sardine salad was amazing as was the matcha pudding dessert. To top it off, the proprietors were incredibly warm and sweet. We felt so welcome in Tokyo and we will return soon!

I totally fell in love with this place. The foods were incredible and the most remarkably the salad with sardine! My husband and I really liked a excellent server, who was taking extra care to every table.

Small Italian restaurant in Tokyo with good food and even better service! The bonito carpaccio, cacio e pepe and risotto were all delicious. The beef main was cooked perfectly and not too heavy. The service was the friendliest of any of the restaurants my wife and I visited in Japan!

Maybe the best meal I've had prepared for me ever. Everything was on point from the horse meat tartar to the sirloin steak secondo, everything step along the way was surprising, delicious and magical. Highly recommended! Definitely order the omakase but if you don't then order the risotto with white truffle.. it is a dream dish. ,(Recommendation good until white truffle are out of season)

Honestly… probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in Tokyo. The food was 15/10 and the service was incredible… the chef and the restaurant staff are so passionate, nice and friendly. A must place to eat in Tokyo.
