Canaletto Ristorante Veneto

I had a great experience overall, especially with the deep-fried baby squid — absolutely delicious! The squid was soft, fresh, and perfectly fried. Honestly, it's one of the best versions of this dish I've had in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the grilled octopus didn't quite hit the mark. It lacked the flavor and tenderness I was hoping for, which was a bit of a letdown compared to how good the squid was. Service was another highlight — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. My only real complaint is the 3% surcharge added to the bill. While it's not a large amount, it’s disappointing to learn that it doesn’t go to the staff but instead goes straight to the restaurant.

The atmosphere here is vibrant and welcoming, complemented by delicious food that never disappoints. Having visited for the third time, I’ve consistently experienced excellent service over the years. This visit, I tried the linguine ,pomodoro and Cristina pizza—both were perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The tiramisu was a delightful finale, offering rich, balanced sweetness. Without hesitation, I’d recommend this spot to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience with reliable quality and warmth.

The waiter, James, is humorous and willing to communicate your flavor preferences then suggests dishes to you if you need. The pasta he suggested is "pasta special" which is changed everyday. I would say this is the best pasta I've eaten in the past few months. Also the pizza he recommended, "Cristina" was also amazing. Regarding the IPA beer, it's really my personal opinion. But it's really fruity and tasty.

Excellent homemade pasta dishes like I've had in Italy. 'Patio' dining is lovely! Inside is quiet. Happy hour is great. Yummy cocktails. Nice staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a beautiful experience here at the restaurant. At the sit outside in the saint mark's square area in venetian.It felt like we were outside with perfect temperature. Service was outstanding and the food was very well flavored. However the pastand the ravioli's were under cooked in my opinion. The Appetizer was delicious and flavorful. It had great options for non-alcoholic drinks as well. I would definitely come back here again but ask them to make sure they cook the pasta a little longer. Be I'm not used to el Dente pasta. Ever that is an opinion on whether the noodle is undercooked or not.

Beware! Disappointed and Rushed! Not the Same Restaurant It Used to Be. All the bad reviews say the same thing horrible rushed service! We visited this restaurant on a Friday early evening, hoping for a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, the service was shockingly poor. Our waiter was curt and clearly impatient, rushing us through the menu and visibly frustrated as we tried to decide what to order. It felt like he didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t want to help us. This was especially disheartening because I’ve been coming here for years and used to rave about the service. Sadly, things have gone downhill. While the food was still good and the atmosphere pleasant, the service completely ruined the experience. Despite spending hundreds of dollars and tipping generously, we were told to leave after just an hour and 20 minutes—because we were “taking up too much time.” There were plenty of open tables, so this felt unnecessary and disrespectful. If you’re considering dining here, be warned: it’s not the same place it used to be. The food may still be worth it, but the service is atrocious. I won’t be returning. Also, the prices are way overpriced for the service!

Loved the Venetian surroundings, the canal and gondolas, spontaneous opera singing, all are very enjoyable. We had dinner at Canaletto, and our service was wonderful. The bruschetta and our main pastas were good but nothing exceptional for the price. Torte was excellent as was our espresso. Service & atmosphere are the winners here in our experience.
