"Merry Vose’s Cabana is a siren song in Dallas for all the women who love pretty, easily wearable labels, and so in response, she opened up Canary—a bigger, splashier store just down the street. The space is equally homey and filled with a mix of lesser-known finds like Christian Wijnants, SEA New York, and Each x Other."

12 Best Spots for Shopping in Dallas | Condé Nast Traveler

"There’s no trace of the former fishing shop that originally occupied this 3,000-square-foot store, adorned with pops of yellow, black-and-white floors, Christian Lacroix wallpaper, and leopard furniture pieces. Canary, sister shop to the more relaxed Cabana down the road, presents approachable but higher priced fashion lines. Shop upscale emerging women’s designs, several not typically found in Dallas, by Temperley London, Marissa Webb, Stevie Howell, and more." - Marcy de Luna

Ordered something online and stopped by on my lunch break to pick it up. The ladies there were really nice and attentive, definitely exceeded my expectations for service. Got my order for me and made me a tea for the road. Id say it’s priced around the same as Neiman but at Neiman they are never as friendly to me (probably because I’m younger) so this was definitely a much nicer experience. The quality of the clothes there is worth the price, I really liked what I got.

Very nice store tho, Marlene is a good hostess she helped me to find the perfect bag for my wife but the other lady with glasses she has no elegance and she was taking a personal call. Not sure about her name but I believe jeimi or something like that, thick lady black hair. Funny laugh and very rude lady. Besides that I would like to shop again specially for Xmas. Are you going to open for Black Friday I would like to visit the store

Yelp
The first thing you need to know is that Canary has no signage. It's a nondescript whitish brick building. If you look carefully, you might notice the doorway is flanked by canary yellow paint. I guess the idea is exclusivity, but even by Dallas standards, I think having no sign goes a little far. That said, the store carries cutting edge clothing for women (got to the website for a list of designers), yet offers service like an old-fashioned boutique. . . .personal service, large dressing rooms, etc. My companion and I had a great time shopping there and left with sacks of very cool gear that we won't see everywhere on everyone. Our salesperson, Melissa, was wonderful--friendly but not syrupy sweet. I had the feeling she would tell me if the puce looked bad with my skin. Check it out! The owner, Merry Vose, first established another nearby popular store, Cabana.
