The first thing you need to know is that Canary has no signage. It's a nondescript whitish brick building. If you look carefully, you might notice the doorway is flanked by canary yellow paint. I guess the idea is exclusivity, but even by Dallas standards, I think having no sign goes a little far. That said, the store carries cutting edge clothing for women (got to the website for a list of designers), yet offers service like an old-fashioned boutique. . . .personal service, large dressing rooms, etc. My companion and I had a great time shopping there and left with sacks of very cool gear that we won't see everywhere on everyone. Our salesperson, Melissa, was wonderful--friendly but not syrupy sweet. I had the feeling she would tell me if the puce looked bad with my skin. Check it out!
The owner, Merry Vose, first established another nearby popular store, Cabana.
