We love this neighborhood gem! The service is always great, wine on tap, and craft cocktails that are to die for. We’ve only had some of the sardine plates in the past, not much of the food. We love stopping in to shop for gifts & wine nextdoor. They even have Baggu!!

This bar is so special! Not only did it breathe new life to the neighborhood but it also introduced natural wine to our city in a big way. I absolutely love every detail of this place down to the people that own it and the amazing staff that runs it. Special shout out to Matt for always making the perfect cocktail or recommending a delicious bottle of natural wine.

Google
Canary Club is the best bar in Louisville (I never go out because it can be overwhelming sometimes, and this place makes me feel so comfortable.) the outdoor patio is amazing & the drinks are always perfect. Audrey is the most stunning, kind, and talented bartender in all of Kentucky! Her wine class was also a blast.

Google
I love the pop ups. The happy hour was on point. The vibes were on point. Just a cool place to chill. I felt comfortable and satisfied with the seating and tables! They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The sun hits perfectly around 5pm outside. I will definitely be back and tell others!

Google
Easily one of the best cocktail bars in Louisville. Staff was friendly and offered help in any way they could. The atmosphere is great for conversation. Music wasn’t blaring nor a bunch of tvs all over the place.

Google
The atmosphere of Canary Club really can't be matched, pairing the relaxed feel of your favorite neighborhood bar with the quirky charm of a curated cocktail lounge. Whether you're looking for a crafted cocktail or a fun and funky glass of wine, the menu has something for sippers of all types. Audrey in particular is so knowledgeable about the wine list and always eager to outline the different varieties and make sure you find something you like. Mars is also incredibly kind and contributes to the space feeling relaxed and welcoming every time. If it's not for the live jazz on Tuesday nights or camping out in a booth seat to work on art projects with friends, then Canary is always a draw simply for its cozy and lively ambience. So thankful my neighborhood has a gathering space like this one!

I absolutely love this place! It’s always such a fun, laid-back vibe and one of my favorite spots whenever I’m in Louisville. Julie is the best—super friendly, fun to talk to, and really knows her stuff. I’m definitely someone who picks wine based on the label (no shame 😂), so having Julie help me figure out what I actually want—and why I’ll love it—is a game changer. She even suggests great pairings! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Google
This place is a gem! The wine selection is fantastic—each glass I’ve tried has been delicious, and the cocktails are just as thoughtfully crafted. What really makes this bar stand out, though, are the people. Mars is incredibly friendly and welcoming—they make you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Their warmth and enthusiasm add so much to the vibe.

Yelp
Came here tonight for a drink before heading to dinner. The bartenders were attentive and made incredible drinks! We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back again. Also wandered around the adjoining shop and really enjoyed the entire experience. Bought some orange wine and can't wait to try it. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I have heard whispers of this place and finally decided to check it out. It is across the street from Toasty's, which I would suggest getting a meal there before coming here, Canary club does not serve food. I go in and it does seem to give evening lounge vibes. I also liked the crowd that was there, no rowdy crowds here. I sit at the bar and browse the menu. I proceeded to tell the bar tender it was my first time visiting there. I was asked what I prefer or my likes, I did proceed to tell her I would like something other than bourbon beings I have visited nearby Trouble Bar. Was given some suggestions and went for Business with Pleasure Cocktail, I liked that one and another one I ordered but forgot the name. I do happen to like this place and the ambience of it. I do plan on returning to try their other cocktails. I wish I could remember the bartenders name to give her a shoutout on here.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. I didn't realize they had a pop up that Saturday and due tot his didn't have the regular menu. I got a sandwich from the pop up and it was delicious! I also ordered a sparkling Lambrusco and it was divine! I enjoyed my quick visit. The decor is vintage and true to the original location. Which I appreciate. I wish I had more to say. Service was okay. It was more of a self service and the bartenders were nice but nothing exceptional.

Yelp
This bar was one of our highlights of our time in Louisville. The staff was patient, kind, and welcoming the entire time. We drank outside on the patio where people were playing basketball and enjoying the warm weather. We then snagged a booth in the saloon and was a welcomed gathering space. The bar is very inclusive and the drinks for fire. Definitely a must visit.

Yelp
Oh, how I have been excited to try Canary Club! And even though I didn't get to stay long, it didn't disappoint. We happily arrived during Happy Hour (4-6 p.m.), and this includes $5 spritzes. Prosecco plus some bitters -- this was just *chef's kiss* during a warm spring day. I also got the Patatas Bravas, which featured small potatoes in bravas sauce, drizzled with garlic aioli. I can't get these out of my head! I'm going to get these each time I go. The flavors just work so well together. I loved the mix of dive bar + wines and fun drinks on the menu. It also features a great outdoor seating area. Next time I'm going to shop next door at Breeze for wine and fun food to take home with me too. Canary Club + Breeze, take all my monies!

Yelp
This place is quickly becoming my new favorite place. We went on a Sunday around 6:00pm. It was pretty busy inside. All the booths & tables were taken but there will still open spots at the bar. So we were able to grab 2 seats at the bar. The bartender told us today was last day of their winter wine menu so all bottles of wine are 1/2 off. We decided on doing a wine flight. You can choose 3 wines & you get 2oz pours for $15. Definitely a great way to try a few things!
google avatar

Yelp
The bartender was a pro! When we were ordering wine flights she was very helpful in helping us choose what would be best for us! Wine was great and the atmosphere was cozy. They had the doors open so there was a nice breeze inside. Would be a good place to have a group meet/hangout. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Canary Club, the fancy humans combination corner shop and bar/small bites spot is marvelous. We stopped by on the final night of super soft open and had a lovely time. If I had not known it was a soft open, I wouldn't have known. The team seemed in sync. The speed and efficiency was lovely, everything in place. The bar was busy, but felt comfortable. For most of the evening the volume stayed at reasonable conversation levels, which was marvelous. It's so rare to go out and actually chat with people at a speaking not shouting level. The wine selection was, of course, on point. The Breeze has always been a fine purveyor of all the good goods, so it's no surprise their bar would be appointed with the same level of attention. The food overall was good but simple. The space looks like they've got a full on kitchen, so i'm very curious as the space settles what other offerings they may bring out. I see wine, i'm thinking cheese and charcuterie pairings of course. They had a charcuterie cone on the menu, which was a nice option and visually is fascinating. Eating it was a practical operational difficulty. We ended up having to get a plate and dumping it onto the plate to get access to the nuts and dried fruit that had settled to the bottom of the cone. But beyond that simple kitchen light offering, I'm seeing sandwiches, grilled cheeses, a burger, a lovely bright salad. So many things could make this space a place that one would want to saddle up and stick around drinking wine and grazing for hours on end. Truly excited for what this space will continue to evolve and become. Welcome to the neighborhood Canary Club!

Yelp
I recently got to try a cocktail from their new spring menu - Spring Sprung. What drew me in was the gin and absinthe. It was refreshing, delicious, and PURPLE! It was also garnished with a very pretty flower, which is a very nice touch. It tends to get pretty busy around 7pm and beyond here, I think, so I'm glad that Ian and I grabbed a seat at the bar around 6:30. We also took the long way out and checked out the courtyard area. There's a basketball hoop out there that we hadn't noticed before! Really cool and the outdoor area looked pretty with the plants in bloom.

Yelp
Best wine in the city!! Sarah, the owner is the absolute best. She knows her wines and makes sure her bar is stocked with only the best!! Super fun atmosphere every time!! Also all the posters and shirts have the coolest designs. 100% love it there!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm totally on the tinned fish charcuterie wagon and was so happy to see a selection on the menu, which is what brought me in. A natural wine flight didn't hurt anything either. Such an overwhelming selection! The bread served with the fish was crusty and delicious alongside pickled onions and a nice mustard. I would love if they would go further with the accoutrements that go along with their conservas but still left very happy. Women owned! Ambience is lovely!

Yelp
Absolutely unpleasant, the bartenders always seem like they are being bothered? Do they want tips or not? honestly, everytime I go here, it is a lackluster feeling that I get if I go to shallow places. I'd rather go somewhere where people actually care about their patrons. If this is the feeling they serve it's definitely the feeling they are going to serve at Nada Nada. Step up your hospitality game.

Yelp
Cool new natural wine bar in the Shelby Park area. It's a small place with a warm and cozy vibe. We went during happy hour, and the place was busy! There was only one bartender, but she took really good care of us answering all of our questions about the different drinks that they have. You place your orders at the bar, then we sat down at one of their cozy booths. I got one of their draft beers, my sisters got glasses of wine, and my daughter got the Sunset Boulevard cocktail. Everything was great, and an overall great experience! Make sure to check out the Breeze Wine and coffee bar next door. They have coffee drinks, gifts, cheese, crackers, candies, olives, and so much more! It's like a candy store for adults.

Yelp
I guess I'm going to be the only person that didn't care for this place. It seems to me like one of those money grab joints that get someone like me one time and that it's not happening again. I can't speak to the food but beverage wise I ordered a Makers on the rocks which I don't really think was Makers and a bourbon and Ginger. I'm not one to complain but I ask about the cocktail after I realized it was extremely flat, had no taste of ginger and no discernible bourbon. The ponytailed hipster behind the counter so that he was having the same thing. Sorry, good luck staying in business!

Yelp
What a great local gem! If I lived in the neighborhood I would be here all of the time! We got wine flights and the bravas patatas (HIGHLY recommend). They have great Happy Hour and daily specials as well- half price bottles on Sundays. The shop attached next door has unique items and sells coffee. The ambiance of the bar is so fun and is great for a girls night or date.

Yelp
The atmosphere and drinks were very nice. The service was absolute trash, the white male bartender with the dark brown hair that wears a bomber jacket outside when he smokes out front is very rude and needs to fix his RBF. I will go to other bartenders in the future Ps you need to me nicer, my mom even noticed ! Wtf

Yelp
This bar is connected to the store next door with interesting tins of sardines and other fish from other countries as well as alcohol. A great stop for a little to go shopping and the bar attached offers great drinks with small bites in their menu. The French onion dip was tasty as well as the salmon and octopus tins they offer. Cool place to check out in Louisville

Yelp
What's not to like? Lots of specials throughout the week (Sunday discounted wine, Monday all day happy hour) plus have events like tastings and music. Lots of fun stuff to try, my only quibble is every time I've tried the empanada the dough has been dry but it is a wine bar
google avatar

Yelp
Killer ambiance and music. The selection of natural wines is unprecedented and one fine packaged liquor operation.

Yelp
Cute cozy wine bar. It gets pretty busy around 7/8 o'clock. The food options are okay? I tired the chorizo pigs and a blanket and they were fine. Will definitely be back! Also right now they have FREE wine tastings on Saturdays from 1-4.

Yelp
Canary Club, and its adjoining wine shop, snack shop, coffee shop is just stellar. When you think about the bar/shop that is your benchmark for all you love... your bodega, your comf local bar, your secret wine spot, etc, whether it's in Chicago, NYC, Miami, this is ours, in Lou. Perfect. The wine selection is super rad with naturals front and center, and affordable. There are great little packaged dinners to buy to enjoy with your bottle purchase, and they open early as a coffee shop, so I can go there and work during the day in one of the booths, it's just perfect. Where other places seem like they open and try and grow into what they're trying to be, this place seems like it is and has already been here for 10 years and knows exactly what everybody wants. Perfectly executed. Love it.

Yelp
Excellent service, the staff is generous and engaging. Customer service oriented, would 100% come back and recommend!

Yelp
What a wonderful place! Super helpful staff who were knowledgeable. Inviting atmosphere with a space larger than I expected. Really great cocktails and a solid wine list. We didn't have any of the food options, but they all looked tasty. Don't forget to check out Breeze, the attached wine shop where you can purchase pretty much (maybe all?) the options available at Canary Club. A really terrific environment and a new favorite drink spot for us

Yelp
Great little place. Good drink, food and ambiance. I'd go back for sure. Drop by if your near, you'll enjoy!

Yelp
Nice bar area, great ambiance in this beautifully renovated space! Lots of seating options. Nice light bites menu and a nice wine and cocktail menu too. No one in our party had beer but they had some local craft.

Yelp
Upscale yet cozy, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. Waitstaff and bartenders are very personable and delivery excellent service. Canary Club is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
