"Popular Miami Lakes restaurant Cancun Grill is expanding its wings with a new location on Doral. With a more modern and industrial vibe than its original sister location, it features colorful floor tiles, wall art, exhibition kitchen, and an expansive bar area. On the menu guests can expect dishes like tacos al pastor, guacamole topped with ribeye steak, a large mezcal selection, plus specials like “All You Can Eat” taco nights on Tuesday and Thursdays." - Olee Fowler

I personally own over 96 restaurants. After being a restaurant owner for over 25 years I have to say this is probably the best food I've ever had. I ordered nachos with beef and chicken. I sent pictures and descriptions to my head chef and asked him why he cannot make the same quality food. If you're into the route area I would highly suggest this location. It's a new building with lots of easy access. Come enjoy great food served by great servers.

Google
The best frozen margaritas in Doral! Perfectly blended, icy, and bursting with flavor — just the right balance of sweet and tangy with a smooth tequila kick. Refreshing and absolutely delicious. A must-try!

Google
By far one of the best Mexican Restaurants in all of Miami. The absolute best Fajitas and Margaritas. Ask for Agusto Cardenas, Manager The best Continue. Always excellent. 35 + years Master Chef Martin Cardenas cooks w love. 💕

Cancún Grill is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm and friendly service. The attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch. The food was incredible—everything we ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ambiance was lively yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a great dining experience. If you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and an authentic atmosphere, Cancún Grill is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Google
Best birthday celebration!!! Cancun Grill at Doral was spectacular and the perfect spot for gathering. Our server Alcimar went far and beyond to make our dining experience perfect. Ambiance was lively, delicious food, fair priced and cocktails were on point. Everyone all staff including hostess was kind and welcoming. We even had a solo mariachi debut. His voice was impressive and you can tell he sings with passion. He was engaging and sang beautiful Mexican boleros that the entire restaurant was singing at times. Highly recommend Cancun Grill in Doral and look forward to our return.

Google
Awesome Mexican food. Guacamole is made by then, the tortilla chips too, and everything is so fresh and spot on. Best margaritas that I’ve tried. The passion fruit aka parchita or maracuyá, we’re amazing. Had to get more than one

Google
Terrible Service and Disrespectful Treatment I rarely leave reviews, but our experience here was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. From the moment we sat down, things started off on the wrong foot. We asked our server for water, and instead of simply bringing it, she bizarrely asked to see our IDs — which made no sense for water. Even after complying, she never brought us any. We watched her serve water to two other tables while continuing to ignore us. We ended up having to ask three other staff members before someone finally brought us water — and that server at least apologized, which we appreciated. We also asked for a plain taco, and were rudely told “it comes how it comes” — no effort to accommodate a simple request. After asking twice to speak with a manager, no one ever came out. Once we requested a manager, our original server completely stopped engaging with us and handed off our table to other servers, never acknowledging us again. The food might be decent, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. Additionally there was already 18% tip added to the check for a server who ignored us and made us have a horrible experience. It felt like we were being intentionally ignored and dismissed, which left a really bad taste in our mouths — and it had nothing to do with the food. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Description I was craving Mexican food due to wanting refried beans and this place popped up so we went. It was very empty at 5pm on Memorial Day so we were seated immediately. The waitress name Lisa if I remember correctly was super kind and sweet she was great. There was no music playing at this time but yet again I did go during a holiday, we also got our food fast as well due to these circumstances. What I ordered Carne Tampiqueño which is Grilled skirt steak, poblano sauce, cheese enchilada, refried beans & Mexican rice and a chimichanga de barabacoa which is Shredded beef, Mexican rice & ranchera sauce. A kids meal was ordered grilled steak and rice which is a very good portion size. All these meals are a good size that one plate is filling enough. They also get chips and salsa as an appetizer. Value The value of the food is good due to the fact that you get enough food to get full and not stay hungry once you're done with your meal unlike some places. The prices per plate run similar to many other places if your comparing their prices per plate. Ambiance/Crowd It is kid friendly, as well as casual wear of jean leggings nothing fancy. All ages were also seen here when I went. Service Lisa was great no complaints about the service. Parking Since it is in the middle of Doral we got parking in a garage where the bars were held up not sure if it was just for that date but all garages around have bars where you have to get a ticket when you go in and pay when you leave. I did not see free general parking. 4 year olds thought corner Kids eat free Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday after 4 PM if they are 12 and under with an adult entree. He gave the food a super thumbs up for the grilled chicken and rice the rice did have carrots peas and corn mixed in which can be take out for the picky ones like my son.

Yelp
Food was nothing spectacular. Cheese dip was about as bad as it gets. Main bar ran out of lime juice. A/C must have been not working as it was hot and people inside were fanning themselves and everyone was sweaty. Staff was ok. No one particularly went above and beyond. Wouldn't recommend as your go to Cinco de Mayo spot. And unless their menu dramatically changes in quality we won't be going back.

Yelp
Now THIS was a buffet. Reservations are required as this place gets packed and this is only a buffet of two lines so I appreciate that immensely. There was a plethora of food items: -Corvina Ceviche -Chilaquiles Bar -Build your own Corn Tortilla Taco station -Sopa de Mariscos -Salads of the House -Churrasco -Salmon -Homemade Chimicurri -In-bone Chicken -Egg station -Tons of desserts such as Tiramisu Now the price goes for $38 which includes a drink such as a mimosa or margarita (flavored too) and you can have the all you can drink added for $7 more. It was so tempting this trip but all I could eat was enough for me. They had mariachis playing as well and there is both indoor and out door seating. Staff was super nice too and plates were cleared quickly. Would gladly return!

Yelp
A disparity in dinners. T's carnitas rates five stars. A generous portion of lean meat, nicely seasoned. My shrimp quesadilla, a big nothing. Something I could've made at home. My dish came with a delicious pico de gallo and what tasted like aji verde. It was good. T's came with mediocre refried beans and bland rice. Salsa and chips, rather average. Disparity too in margaritas. Coconut, great. Regular, lacking flavor. Since it was before 7 p.m., we reaped a 50% happy hour discount. Ambience is upscale, patrons mostly young. Great murals, very cool flooring. Service? Our waitress spoke minimal English. (Was it my imagination that unless called over, she avoided us?) Two of her colleagues checked in. General consensus: likely a one-shot deal for us, even if we lived in the area. On the plus side, at least I was the one with the better margarita. Ha!

Yelp
Date night in such a Beautiful place. The service was great. The music wasn't loud. And the food to die for

Jesus S.

Yelp
Great customer service, food was awesome . Awesome atmosphere, music playing was pleased with how quickly the food was served.

Yelp
Enjoying time out of the office to celebrate the Boss 49th Birthday. We are about to go in hard in the food.

Angelita P.

Yelp
I think the best word to describe this restaurant is CHAOTIC. As you walk in, you're immediately welcomed with a boisterous atmosphere. You can barely hear your own thoughts in this place. The hostesses and waiters look overwhelmed and it's extremely packed on weekends. This was my second time visiting as my in laws really enjoy their massive margaritas. Me and my fiancée ordered a strawberry one to try and all I could say is be prepared for the cheap tequila PUNCH to the face. As for food, we ordered the chips and guacamole to start. They were ok, not bad but not great either. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla as my entree and I couldn't finish it because I could taste the freezer burn on the shrimp. Overall, it's giving Chili's. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was great either.

Yelp
Came here with friends on a Friday for lunch, and it was a great time to go because of the lunch specials. They don't skimp on the complimentary salsa and chips--when we started nearing the end of the chips, they already started replacing them both with another round of fresh chips and salsa without any prompting. I got the Arrachera Durango (Mexican skirt steak with mexican rice, chorizo, grilled Mexican street corn, pico de gallo, guacamole, & corn tortillas). The skirt steak was more cooked than requested, but still good: definitely enjoyed the street corn as it didn't skimp on the cheese. Overall good variety on a plate. I shared the tacos lunch special too (al pastor, cochinita, birria). All decent, but the birria was definitely my favorite: the beef, cheese, and the consome sauce altogether such an indulging combo. And to say that they were both lunch specials, $13 each, including fountain drink--what a good deal. My friends said that ordering churros ($6) were a must here and they were definitely right. Super fresh, hot and crispy on the outside and doughy soft on the inside. Came with two dipping sauces of chocolate and dulce/coconut. To be honest, the churros were already encrusted in sugar, so the churros by themselves were already great. The waitress that attended to us was nice but spoke mostly in Spanish. I do wonder if the language barrier got in the way of my experience: although the waitress used English to ask if I wanted the steak medium, medium rare, etc., and I said medium, but the steak still came out well done. Since the lunch special included a fountain drink, I tried to ask for a lemonade, but I got a bowl of lime wedges instead. As the reviewers have said, service can be a little slow, took about 2 hrs total from getting there to getting/finishing our entrees and dessert. Plenty of seating available, free parking available in a nearby covered parking garages Looking at the menu, the prices of the non-lunch specials made me more hesitant about whether I'd come here on a non-lunch special day. But I would be interested to come back for their weekday lunch specials or their all you can eat taco nights Tues/Thurs. Overall: enjoyable food, nice but slow service that can a bit more difficult if you don't speak Spanish, but good enough for me to come back again!

Yelp
This location is located within the midtown Doral district area and has some great specials such as happy hour until 7 pm and brunch too. If you're looking for a delicious margarita and a good large size for value, this is a great spot! The chicken and steak nachos are a great choice and the birria tacos are solid too. The service was outstanding and appreciate the continuous attention provided by the team to make sure everything was okay.

Simon P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the fajitas chicken and the chips and Salsa very good ! However the service was very poor when I arrived they had a brunch hour till 3 pm so they had no available tables they told me I could be waiting up to an hour all we needed was a table for 4 the girl seemed like she can care less if we waited or left since I mentioned I had 2 hours cause I had booked a movie. After waiting a be out 15 mins just when we are about to leave she tells me a table became available so we too it. Then the waiter gave us horrible service many times we tried getting his attention to request something seemed like he was avoiding us. Service is a thing of the past and in this place they make sure to remind you! The Ambience was good many people and friendly. Overall all great food lousy service !

Yelp
I went for lunch for the first time today, parking is free in the adjacent parking We were greeted very nice as we entered , and I was impressed with the size and decoration, but the thing that made me so happy with the restaurant was how comfortable were all the chairs , as soon as I sat down, my back pain went away , thank you to the owner for investing in good chairs Also the restaurant was very clean and good smell since there is not dirty carpet , only shining tile floor We went for lunch and ordered lunch menu for 13 dollars and was delicious enchiladas and good sizes , we loved the tortilla chips and they refilled us without asking All the waitresses were very nice and made us feel like home ,

Yelp
My friends and I hada a great experience here!!! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The margaritas are huge and refreshing hahahah Great vibe with reasonable prices.

Christine F.

Yelp
I just found out they had a Cancun Grill in Doral, and was so excited! I usually go to the one in Miami garden, and this is much closer. It's also a more modern version for the brand, with the same delicious food. The steak is always flavorful and tender. The dessert was amazing. Save some room for it! Bar was great. I'm not huge on tequila, but nearly all tables around me were enjoying margaritas. They looked great. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the loud birthday celebration thing they do. I know it's fun for the birthday peeps, but for those just there for the food and the vibe I found it to be way too frequent. Now that I know this one is closer I'm thrilled to have two to choose from whenever I'm ready for Mexican.

Judith L.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant sometime in February I was disappointed that the states fajitas were very thin and hard. I had to return back the plate but the steak fajitas was still hard I wanted the steak fajitas medium cooked but I guess they couldn't do it that way because they were so thin I don't think I will visit them again. They had one called Cancun grill also in Miami Lakes Florida which was awesome the steaks that they use were flank steaks and they were thick but this time I tried a different Cancun grill which I guess belongs to the same owner but I will never return again.

Ashlyn A.

Yelp
I have been looking forever it seems like the find a Mexican restaurant in Miami that meets all of my criteria: (1) tequila-based margaritas; (2) a sit down, service at table restaurant; (3) offering complimentary chips and salsa; (4) and classic Mexican food. This place hit the mark!! I'm so happy I now know a "standard" Mexican place to go to! Was so excited to come in and hear the mariachi playing too! Our server was amazing and met all our needs despite our language barrier. The restaurant is beautiful and we loved the seating. We will certainly return!

Adriana B.

Yelp
I really would have liked the option of a half star. My review is really 3.5. We went for an early dinner on Sunday. It was our first time, we usually go to the Miami Lakes location. We got a very friendly greeting as we walked in, the restaurant was pretty empty. We stood there for several minutes while they cleaned a table. The food was very good, fresh and flavorful. I ordered a Margarita Paloma, it was just ok, for almost $16 (served in a beer glass with lots of ice) it could've been better. The table we sat at was pretty gross. The couch and chairs (comfy cloth chairs) were disgustingly dirty, stained. We asked if they were wet but we're told no, they were just stained!! Not a good choice of furniture for this type of restaurant.

Joshua T.

Yelp
Delicious! The food tastes great, service is great, and on the weekends mariachi comes out to entertain while you dine. They even had a DJ performer one night.

Jorge S.

Yelp
Not my first choice if your are looking for authentic Mexican food but my coworkers love coming here for lunch. In general service is very slow so expect a long lunch. However, they always have open tables at lunch time and the food is always fresh.

Nadia Isabel R.

Yelp
La comida estaba muy rica, el camarero muy atento y muy buen ambiente con la decoración y los mariachis. El parqueo es muy cerca y gratis

Oscar V.

Yelp
We celebrated a family member's birthday during brunch, this is a beautiful place, modern and rustic at the same time, the offerings at the buffet brunch are diverse and well presented, we all enjoyed the food, flavorful, tender meats, great ceviche, omelettes made to order and fantastic selection of desserts, service was on point, fast and friendly, we really enjoyed the afternoon with margaritas and a mariachi band, a really nice place for great food and drinks in the Doral area, plenty of covered free parking that came handy since the day started with some light rain, we really got the family treatment, thank you, will be back soon...

David G.

Yelp
Alright, came to Cancun today after not being able to visit the original location. I really liked the decor at this Cancun. The seats are a bit uncomfortable though. I get the feeling that the owner is trying something different at this location in comparison to the original. My biggest gripe with this location is the service, it was really bad. The staff were nice and courteous, but that was it. Everything took long to arrive and when you're asking for plates, something is wrong Food was decent, I feel like the original has wayyy better food though. See pictures. All in all it's not a bad spot, but remember it's a completely different vibe than the original

Steven T.

Yelp
To me they have one of the best selections of margaritas in town, and they are priced correctly if you get the larger portion

Karyna V.

Yelp
Went back to give this restaurant another try to upgrade it to more than 2-star; and I was certain after this dining attempt, I would. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was accommodating & the mariachis made me wiggle my toes. So much was the pleasant experience, we decided to celebrate my MIL's bday here. We made reservations & as I'm walking in with my MIL's bday cake, the hostess tells me that there will be a $20 fee for cutting the cake which we need to cut ourselves but they provide small plates for. After I told her that no one told me, she directed me to the Mgr. that waived the fee. Mariachis came to the table & half-heartedly sang my MIL a requested song. My FIL gave them a $20 tip that was not acknowledged & didn't even receive a "thank you" (where they expecting more for 1-song..?) and when we asked them to play her another song, they were close to rolling their eyes. Service - not outstanding but more like average at best. Food - no complaints and edible. Why downgrading to a 1-star..?? As we were leaving and already disappointed with the mariachis, average service & an almost $20 cake fee, an over-served guest VOMITS next to our table semi-sprinkling over my in-laws . The servers disgusted and perplexed did not even asked if we were ok or if we needed anything to clean us up. It took them a good 5mins (which seemed an eternity) to have the vomit cleaned up next to my in-laws. When I mentioned it to the Mgr., he was oblivious of what had occurred. When I told him that his servers should not over-serve liquor to its patrons & cut them off when intoxicated, again a perplexed look. And to top it off, when I told him that no one assisted us, I was received with a merely sincere apology. What would have been a pleasant bday experience for my 77yr old MIL, turned out to be an unpleasant one. To say that I will never dine here again is an understatement and surely, doesn't even deserve the 1-star I need to leave it.. (attached are old photos).

Yelp
Let me start out by saying: I LOVE cancun grill in Miami lakes. Like I love it. Best margaritas in Miami. Best birthday celebrations. When I found out that there is another location in foral - and close to my job!!! - I knew I had to come here!!! So I came with a few coworkers for lunch and I loved it!!! The decorations are beautiful. A lot more hip than the Miami lakes location. Food was amazing like expected for Cancun grill. I had a quesadilla and omg it was amazing. Huge portions like always and very good!!! Chips and salsa included like always. Also amazing. I was very sad that I was there with work Bc if not I would have ordered the margarita to try!! I'm so excited there is another location. I will keep coming back here for lunch!!! But I will say though - the Miami lakes location will always have my heart.

Gabriel G.

Yelp
If you want a safety option to choose tacos, this is the one in Doral. Tacos are good. I believe they good prices and the restaurant looks good. I have been here like 3 time and they always have the problem with the service. It is very inefficient and slow.

Janet J.

Yelp
Always a great vibe. Food and ambiance at taste for being in Doral . Recommend for any day of week

Meghan W.

Yelp
Looking for chips and salsa with margaritas after a long day of work. This place had exactly what we were looking for. The tacos de carne asada were fresh with crispy white onions and freshly chopped cilantro. Loved that they had Negra Modelo on tap too! Only downside was it was incredibly loud inside. Concrete walls and floors + a fabulous mariachi band made it difficult to hear our table conversation.

Becks A.

Yelp
This little place is always fun. The ambiance is nice, you'll find mariachi's singing in most days and the food is amazing. I've been a few times and it's always been good. The service is friendly and always quick. They even have margaritas in different sizes, for all kinda of days, lol. Their classic is good, their flavored ones also. I've had their michelada, and while it's not the best it is good. Of course my only other michelada experience was in Mexico, so those are high standards. Anyways, let's talk food. They always bring tortillas, home made, and salsa. Lately each person gets their little bowl of salsa (i did say little but it is enough). If you like cheese, you must try their queso fundido, is amazing, it also comes with chorizo. Their tacos and enchillada swisa are great. So is their soup. They have single dishes but also shareable dishes. They have something for everyone, no matter how picky. Don't forget their churros! Enjoy!!!

Katherine F.

Yelp
Excellent Mexican food in the Doral location. We had lomo saltiado , guaca made with ribeye steak, it was exceptional. We also enjoyed ceviche. A must try Mexican delight!

Penélope I.

Yelp
My husband, two kids, and went to dinner at Cancun Grill and it was the worst dining experience we've had in a while. Ill start with the waitress. She handed us the menus and stood staring at us as we were going over the menu instead of giving us some time to go over it. She wanted our drink orders right away. I told her I wanted to see a drink menu, she then realized we didn't have one, went and retrieved it, handed it over and asked again what we wanted. Give me some space to read please!! You're suffocating me. Even with that, she messed up our order. She forgot to put in the toddlers food (in my opinion, the food that should be out first), and messed up our other child's food. It was frustrating, but we tried to make the best of it. Now let's talk about the food... it was gross. There's no other way to say it. No flavor. The meet in the tacos was fatty. Neither of the kids liked the food (and my kids LOVE tacos). The ambiance is great if you like being harassed by mariachis for a tip! I'm not exaggerating. They come to the table, ask to play a song, and then demand a tip. We don't usually carry cash, so they left one of the band members behind to make sure we sent a tip through Zelle. I know times are tough, but this is NOT the way. Then at the time to pay, the waitress hands the digital payment device and stands over my husband watching to see what he tips. NOOOOOOO. JUST NO. We will never come back here again. What an uncomfortable dinning experience. Do better.

May L.

Yelp
I love the ambiance and decor here. We were seated immediately (in the middle of the day) and got free chips and salsa for the table. The food came quickly and it was all great! My birria tacos were exactly what I was looking for! Even though they were soft shelled tacos, they were cooked to be crispy and it was so a great texture. The meal filled me up plenty, but I definitely could have fit more! I'm still daydreaming about those tacos.. If Holy Shakes wasn't right across the street, I would've gotten their fried ice cream (I mean - cornflake crust?? Yum!!) Very overpriced but very tasty!

Emily A.

Yelp
CANCUN GRILL IS LITERALLY JUST A MEXICAN APPLEBEE'S. I DARE THE MANAGER (if one even exists) TO REACH OUT. Notice how management does not comment on the negative reviews or issue an apology. This is a good indicator on the type of business that they're running. Buckle up your seatbelts, because I'm about to drag this establishment through the mud. Food was a JOKE. Tasted like everything came out of the freezer. Not fresh. Guacamole was watered down. Chips were thin and an embarrassment to an authentic tortilla chip. You're a Mexican restaurant, but you can't even get your chips right? Food is extremely dry and equivalent of fast food Mexican. Drinks - oh my god. I would've rather paid $14 to drink prison toilet water. It probably would've been quicker to have DoorDashed margarita mix and tequila. I kid you not, it took 30 minutes to get my drink. By the time many drinks arrived at our table, they were watered down and the ice had melted. We could even see our drinks sitting on the side of the bar waiting to be picked up and delivered. The place is loud and obnoxious. This for me isn't an issue as I expected it for a Mexican restaurant on a Saturday night. I would just be aware if you're bringing anyone that has sensory issues. Service - waitress couldn't have cared less about us. So difficult to get ahold of her to place orders. Heaven forbid you needed anything, because she never came to check on us. We would have to flag her down. Never even received water!!! The birthday girls boyfriend didn't receive his meal. Everyone ate and then when we finally got her attention to issue an amber alert on this quesadilla, she had the nerve to ask if he still wanted it. Noooo just watching all of us eat satisfied his hunger. Quesadilla ends up coming 60 minutes from the time it was originally ordered. Check comes and somehow no one forgot the quesadilla this time because we found it on the check alongside gratuity included. Gratuity for WHAT? Our server was rude and argued with us when we asked to dispute the check. We were in a rush to get to a reservation for the birthday party elsewhere after this, HENCE why we didn't stay to try to speak with a manager. I would also like to add that our table dropped a hefty amount of money. We weren't one of those groups taking up table space only to spend $100 in total. Regardless of it being a birthday, we deserved better. Please take this review seriously and do not come here. We cannot continue to allow restaurants like this to treat their customers like garbage. Especially taking the time to come here and celebrate a birthday. We deserve better as customers. SAVE YOUR MONEY. SAVE YOUR SANITY.

Abby O.

Yelp
Honestly, chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday at and I wish I had not. The service was TERRIBLE. Super slow, inattentive, rude. Our table of 9 people spent about $1,000.00 in total and it was quite possible the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. They forgot my boyfriend's quesadilla and when we tried to get them to take it off our check, the waiter tried to argue with us. They automatically include 18% tip which is quite literally why the waitress did not care about the service she provided us as she knew she was getting a hefty tip regardless. What a terrible experience, I will never be back.

Karina G.

Yelp
Cancún Grill is walking distance from our apartment, which is a big part of its appeal. I used to go to the Miami Lakes location growing up and I remember the food being excellent. The food here was just okay. They do have great happy hour specials and they make a great skinny marg. I decided to spice it up and do a spicy skinny marg and that was also great! Birria tacos were good but a little greasy. Everything else was just okay. The sweet corn tamales were awful. Zero flavor. I think this is a great spot for happy hour! Service is adequate and it's a fun environment! Love the mariachis. Love that we can hobble home after happy hour too!

Kandyce V.

Yelp
Well, I haven't been in this restaurant for several years. I am still unimpressed. Unfortunately, the food is very bland. No seasoning we each had a different entrée. I had a selection of tacos. My husband had the fajitas and my daughter had the steak all agreed that the meat was not seasoned at all, my tacos were flavorless. The meat was chopped so small that it was actually hard. This is the chicken and the beef. The pork was tender but again no flavor or I ordered a small margarita which was OK I've had much better my daughter and my husband ordered the strawberry frozen margarita and they said it was good, the service was OK it locked a little bit frequently I saw the waiters hanging around the registers, talking and socializing instead of coming to the table to check to see if everything was OK and if we needed something the decor is very cute I have heard that the brunch on Sundays is really good I have not had a chance to experience it myself. If I go back, it will definitely be for the brunch experience but for regular dinner I'm done off to find another Mexican restaurant that serves delicious food.

Janelle L.

Yelp
I live in the apartments in the buildings here and have ordered/dined in many times. Wanted to give it a few tries before leaving a review and honestly the food is not worth the price and wait time for dine in. Very expensive when the portions are minimal. the tortillas for the tacos do not taste good or fresh. the steak is often hard. al pastor tacos were okay. chimichanga was a mess and not well made. The Birria tacos were good though. My worst experience was I placed an order for takeout in person, and they forgot to give me my elotes. They said not a problem, to come and pick them up. This was fine to me as I mentioned I lived in the apartments upstairs. The bad part was then they called back to say they "accidentally" gave me someone else's order and to bring it back in exchange for the elotes. I was not given the wrong order at all, and the lady started to become aggressive over the phone. I hung up and picked up the elotes while being treated rudely. Just go to Taco Bell instead

Yelp
Uber Eats order. Super salty birria consommé. The tacos were good, but I couldn't finish the consommé as it was unbelievably salty. Guacamole was good and helped drown out the sodium. The jalapeño thing was a waste of money. Plenty of chips.

Yelp
Loved the decor inside! They have plastic shields in between tables to ensure covid safety. Service was great and the food was prepped and brought to us in less than 15 minutes. Portions are sufficient or large enough for a couple to share. Their helado frito is addicting hahaha a must try.

Yelp
Hard to find, cute and clean, lunchnew establishment, waitress not speak well enough English, mgr had to step in. Ordered steak and chicken fajitas for two. It was good, hot, steak a little tough. The beans looked like baby food w cheese on top, meh,and the rice just as bland. Not a cheap lunch !

Yelp
The birria tacos here are packed with flavor! Pork tacos were tasty with all the fixings added but not as good as the birria!!! Churros were crispy and not greasy. The sangria was on happy hour and super refreshing. Plenty of chips flowing, I loved how they kept switching out our chips for fresh ones. Queso was full of flavor very addicting. Great ambiance.

Yelp
Get there before 7 PM for the Happy Hour and enjoy 1/2 off House Margaritas. Plenty of salsa and tortilla chips to get you started. The food and service are very good. Friendly staff.

Yelp
This spot is awesome! Love the location, the energy, the ambiance, the service and the food! Everything was great! We tried the guacamole and their chicken nachos to start with and both were packed with flavor. The nachos are perfectly layered with toppings and the guacamole was perfect! For the entree I had the birria tacos and wow! They were absolutely delicious. The meat was well seasoned and it came with rice, refried beans and their consume sauce. A must in my book! Overall it's a great place for lunch or dinner. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I was on a mini staycation in the Doral area and wanted some Mexican food. Checked to see what was around me and spotted Cancun grill and decided to try. It was a super rainy day so it was hard for me to spot the place. But thankfully I did. I started off with the house margarita and chips and salsa. House margarita was ok and the chips and salsa did what it had to do. I switched over to the spicy margarita and it was a party. They have a all you can eat taco night on Tuesdays and Thursday's. I had to wait and was glad I did. My first time trying Birria tacos and babyyyyy. I was hooked. I wasn't expecting all you can eat tacos to be this good but they were amazing. The sauce. The sauce. Super simple but flavorful. I tapped out after six tacos but they were gracious enough to give me some to go. I will definitely be trying this spot again on a Tuesday and with an empty stomach!!!

Yelp
The place was dead on. Monday at 630 pm. Employees were on their phones and the manager was doing the same. So not much inspiration. Gallon of milk sit outside fridge the entire time we were there. Nothing earth shattering to say. Average all the way around. Hoped for more.

Yelp
Cancun Grill is located in the downtown Doral area, about a five to ten minute drive from City Place. It's located in the first floor of a condominium building. There are a lot of nice restaurant options in this area! There is also free parking in the garage of the condo. Cancun Grill has a wide variety of options on the menu. First they start you off with the house chips and salsa. They are delicious! The salsa was so fresh. For my entree I ordered the fish tacos. It comes with three and each are heavily packed. On the side it also brings rice with veggies and refried beans. It is a huge portion at a fair price tag. The restaurant does get full, so I recommend making reservations. They also do have a couple seats for outdoor dining. It's a nice scenery, right by a water fountain and fairy lights.

Yelp
The staff is very attentive. The place looks great. The queso fundido is not as good as yard house. The Birria tacos had a cardboard flavor. The one at the food truck in Disney springs or Merritt island mall are full of flavor. The margarita presidente was very good.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner and glad I did. There was no wait. Atmosphere was good and the staff wore masks. There is plexiglass between the tables as well. Ordered chicken chimichanga & shared a pitcher of Cadillac Margarita. Both were absolutely delicious! Will definitely return often for meals.
