The instructor was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. What really made this experience stand out was the incredible location right on the strip! After making our candles, we could walk next door for some shopping, grab a bite at the restaurant just a few steps away, or even treat ourselves to ice cream. There’s also an art museum, tourism guides, a toy store, and more—all within walking distance! It made for the perfect day out, blending creativity, convenience, and fun. The studio itself was beautifully decorated, with Instagram-worthy photo spots and a warm, inviting vibe. The tables were set up with everything we needed—wicks, measuring jars, stirring spoons, and even flowers and glitter to personalize our candles. Pro tip: You’ll need to reserve your spot ahead of time (no walk-ins), but it’s 100% worth planning in advance. Whether you’re with friends, on a date, or just treating yourself, Candle Land is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!

I recently had an incredible experience at Candle Land in Fort Lauderdale, and I can't recommend it enough for a girls' outing or a romantic date night! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a welcoming atmosphere filled with delightful scents through the air. The variety of fragrances was truly impressive, but I must say, the Mango Burst smell was my absolute favorite—it's the perfect blend of tropical sweetness that instantly lifts your mood! The candlemaking process was not only fun but also incredibly well-guided. The instructors were thorough and attentive, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and confident while crafting their personalized candles. They shared useful tips and tricks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Adding to the ambiance, the music playing in the background set the perfect vibe, creating a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that made our time there even more special. We laughed, created, and soaked in the delightful smells all around us. I had such a fantastic time that I can’t wait to go back! My friend and I really loved the experience. The place is very girly and cute with a lot of photo opps which we all love 😆 The experience is about an hour which is perfect. It’s not too short or too long. They had plenty of scents to choose from and they were all nicely organized on display. Our instructor was knowledgeable, patient and very nice. It’s definitely something different that you don’t do everyday and it’s fun 💕

We visited Candle Land last night for a girls night/birthday celebration and had THE BEST time. All of the ladies who worked with us were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the process. Libby was amazing, extremely knowledgeable about flowers and we all bonded over our shared love of cats! We will definitely be back!

It was Sunday 9/7/25 at 8:00pm (the door was wide opened & the place was empty) My husband and I stopped inside to ask a few questions (we planned to set an appointment for the next weekend- it would be for my birthday with me and 7 of my friends) we stood at the front counter & waited about 2-3 mins for the staff member who was walking around, unfortunately we were never approached or greeted. Once the staff member looked at us and turned her head, we decided to leave. Immediately after walking out, my husband turned back and kindly asked the staff why didn’t she acknowledge us? She said and I quote “we were closed, it was no reason to” my husband sarcastically laughed and told her that although they were closed, she’s still in a position to assist with future business. He told her that if he were the owner he would be very disappointed, as my husband himself owns multiple businesses. He then told her that her demeanor was unprofessional and wasn’t helpful to the company. She sarcastically laughed and blew it off as nothing. We will never ever return to this location again! Especially once I came here to leave my review and saw so many other negative reviews, not about the place itself, but about the rude staff members. I see why so many recommend the Miami location over this Las Olas location. I wish I could leave ZERO starts. We are very disappointed.

I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I truly enjoyed myself. The place felt so warm and inviting once you walked in. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The plethora of scents to choose from was almost overwhelming lol. They also had a great selection of candle jars to choose from with some beautiful colors. The teacher was very detailed and patient as she was teaching us how to make our candies. I definitely plan to return

Had the best time with the girls at Candle Land on Las Olas! This spot is perfect for a fun, hands-on experience where you create your own custom candle. You pick your vessel and scent, then mix your wax and fragrance and pour your candle while friendly instructors guide you through the process. I went with a pink vessel and gold lid, plus a lemon cake fragrance that's all kinds of sweet. I even added dried flowers for that extra cute touch! We walked away with gorgeous candles that smelled incredible. This is such a fun way to spend an afternoon and get crafty--highly recommend!

I attended a beautiful private Galentine's event held by Black Moms Miami and I had such a great time. It is located on the Las Olas strip near great restaurants and shops so not hard to find. There is parking in the back that is Pay By Phone so it is convenient. Now on to our candle making class, we had a great instructor that walked us through each process from picking a pretty vessel, choosing our scent of choice, mixing and pouring. Heads up, once you're finished making the candle, it takes around 45 minutes for your candle to set and leave with your candle. For this event, we had bites to eat but if you aren't booking out a whole class they may advise you to stay in the area and walk the strip or you can come back another day. This would be a great idea to make a reservation for a nice lunch or stop at the coffee shop across the street. So many options! I truly enjoy creative spaces like this where you can learn something new and keep the final product for memories. I love that you can finish the candle and bring it back to do another candle making class. This is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or treat yourself to a new experience. This was my second time doing a candle class at Candle Land and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Located in Las Olas, this is such a great activity! My sister and I decided to give this place a whirl after seeing it on IG. Easy to book a reservation and the pricing is fair. You have the option to pick out your glass holder and scent(s) of your candle. The process was so much fun and easy! The ladies here were so kind and helpful throughout the entire experience. Our candles came out so cute and smell amazing!! This is such a great place for a girls night, birthday celebration or just because. I cannot wait to go back and make another candle (:

I've been wanting to visit this place for so long, and it did not disappoint! The class was amazing, and our instructor was super nice and patient. They gave great recommendations for scents--seriously, avoid the vanilla and trust the host! There was a wide variety of scents and glasses to choose from for your custom candle. I went with a fruity mix of apples and oranges in a cute pink iridescent glass! Totally worth the price, though I'll admit the class is pretty quick, lasting about an hour or less. I'd definitely come back, and I'm already planning to! 10/10, highly recommend!

Met up with my friend for a girls day and what a great experience. It's beautifully decorated and brightly lit. Parking was not an issue as there were ample paid parking lots in the back of the business. The check in process was a breeze. They have cute ways of explaining the process but our host spoke quickly and my friend and I missed most of what she said. We frequently asked her to repeat. Once we understood what the tasks were we collected our items and made our candles. Lots of scents and glass containers to pick from. I wish there were more options for wicks, the ones used seemed thin and flimsy. The scale was off as it was manually operated and often incorrect. Once our candles were ready to bake we left them. Took us about 1 hour in to take. We took pictures around the shop. Very instagramsble. We set off to walk the strip and return for our candles in 30-45 minutes. It's recommended to let your candle sit 1day - 1 week before burning it. I let mine sit for one week and I must say it's such a lovely scent. Now the scent is not strong close up but I smelt the fragrance in the home. This was a fun event and would definitely recommend checking it out.

Had the best time at Candleland! The staff was so helpful--even when I showed up a day late, they guided me through everything with great attention to detail. There was a wonderful variety of scents to choose from. The only downside is that the lid isn't included and has to be purchased separately. Still, I had a fantastic time making my candle, and it smells amazing!

I've been a loyal customer to all of the Candle Land locations for over 4 years now! This is the cutest and best decorated location of the ones I have visited thus far. Absolutely love the service, with a step by step guided class. Theo scent and jar selection is great, as they have a little something for everyone. We were looking for something fun for my daughter to do and came across Candle Land online. We made a reservation and she ended up in a class all by herself which was nice. Elijah made it a fun and pleasant experience. He even changed the music station to k-pop music per her request. Because it was a class of one, we were done in less than an hour. Tho $57 seems like a lot for one candle, you are really paying for the experience and the creation of a personalized candle where you can choose the vessel, scent, color, etc. it was a fun experience for sure.

I visited Candle Land for the first time for a happy hour and networking private event and had such a great time. The atmosphere was warm and nice and made me feel good just being in the space. The staff were all super helpful and knowledgeable, and even shared candle tips that many of us weren't aware of. This is a cute date option. Be sure to come early to find parking as it's on a busy street. The price is a little high but it's the experience of making a candle that makes it worth it. I came with my niece and she's 16, so I feel that it's a good place for a more mature crowd due to being around other people and hot wax.

Candle making was a fun and different experience however, I did think it was a bit pricey for the overall experience/product. The suggested time for the class is an hour however, it did not take the full time. The shop was super cute and aesthetically pleasing. There were many photo opportunities, the shop even had a ring light to use. I was a little disappointed with the scent options though. I thought there would be more options and would involve mixing scents to create your own. Leaving the shop, I felt as if my candle smelled differently than the tester however, was told waiting 2 weeks will allow the candle/scent to settle and give best results. So I will see then! However, I would still recommend this experience if you are looking for something different to do in the area!

I don't know how often they get cleaned. They were just clean enough for me not to refuse to put them on. Maybe they should clean them slightly more often than they do now.

**Candle Land Fort Lauderdale Review** My Visit to Candle Land Fort Lauderdale was honestly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, no one greeted us, and it took a few minutes just to get checked in. The instructors weren't very clear with their instructions, and they didn't offer aprons--what if we messed up our clothes? One of the most frustrating parts was when we had to place the wicks in the candle, and the instructor completely skipped over me and my friend. Even after calling them over multiple times, they just kept saying they were coming but never actually helped us. Because of that, our candles almost got messed up since they were skipping steps and rushing through the class, which was only an hour long. For almost $60 per candle, the experience wasn't worth it. You could literally make candles at home for a fraction of the price. And it was very limited when it came to the decoration part of your candle and the scents were okay they let you mix them .It seemed like there was a staff change, and that's probably why everything felt so disorganized. Instead of focusing on everyone, one instructor was mostly hanging around a birthday party, and the rest were busy cleaning. Overall, I didn't like the vibes from the staff, and I wouldn't recommend it just because of them that makes the business looks bad . Save your money!

Candle Land Miami has 3 locations to take you on a candle making experience! This is the perfect date night idea for you and your flame or you can turn down the heat and enjoy the experience with friends & family. Sooo many scents to choice from, there was literally something for everyone. It was fun to imagine what combinations I would blend and I choose my favorite sandlewood alongside a calming palo santo which turned into the most refreshing scent I've ever had before. The vessels were also fun to pick. There were lots of options including sparkly, boho chic and minimalist so guys don't worry, they've got something for you too!

Ok, hands down the chicest most gorgeous place to hang out with your girlies or host an event. The candle smells so good knowing I picked out and made the scent myself! So it was just to my liking making it the most perfect candle to burn. But I was really impressed with their product, because I've gone through many candles but never have I seen one burn as efficiently and clear right down to the last drop of wax not wasting resources or leaving 1/2 candle wax inside or burning weak at all. It actually left it perfect clear for me to wipe off and reuse the beautiful jar again when I bring it back for a discounted rate refill. Also, makes me happy to know I'm supporting a local / sister owned business ! Yay I really enjoyed the process of learning how a candle is made and you can share this experience with your friends making it so much fun

Walked in at 11:11 to an empty building with a man working the counter, told him I'd like to make a candle with my mom. He told me it be $110 dollars, I told him no problem, he said we can't do it now have to come back at 1. The place was literally EMPTY, and he lost a $110+ sale because we were 1 minute past the 10 minute grace period. Poor business sense. So you declined a $110 sale in an otherwise empty ghost town of a business over 1minute? Mind you, after looking at their reservations, they did not have 1 single reservation booked for the day 18 spots available for every time slot. Pathetic will never try again.

Welcome to Las Olas! I was so excited to hear the news before their grand opening I organized a private event with Jen. Wonderful experience every step of the way. When our group of 24 members arrived we had the venue to ourselves. The staff gave us extraordinary service and the event alone was phenomenal. The new Candle Land venue is an inviting and gorgeous space to create a custom candle. BYOB is encouraged which was an added bonus! We all melted and mingled during this experience and took plenty of IG worthy photos! A great private event or with friends, family even a date night. Can't wait to come back. The fragrances smell absolutely incredible. We love our custom candles!

Miami based Candle making shop new to Las Olas. The place is beautifully decorated with plenty of Instagram worthy spots to take pics. I came here for a private event and we had the place entirely to ourselves. BYOB was also encouraged. They walked you through every step of the way starting with picking your vessel and scent. It's a unique experience perfect for a girls night out! And the candle looks and smells amazing.

My best friend and I made online reservations to schedule a time for the candle making class. It was extremely easy and convenient to make the reservations, which allowed you to pay online. Once you arrive at the store, you are sat down by the employees in front of a candle making station at the table. The employees instruct you, step by step, on how to make the candles and where to pick out the supplies. I loved how organized it was. The entire store is extremely cute and pink, which makes it such a great photo place! They even have a little photo stand set up to take pictures with your group! Overall, the experience was so great. Candle Land was such a unique experience for birthdays, bachelorette trips, and many other celebrations!

If I could rate this place 4.5 stars I would. I'll be honest, I didn't expect much from a candle making class but the staff was extremely friendly. We had one host that guided us on the stages step by step. They are engaged business wise but not as engaged as a BYOD painting class. There is no BYOD here. It all depends on your company you are with as to how much you will enjoy this. The decor itself is absolutely beautiful and fitting for the event. One section you get to choose what candle container you would like as there is a plethora of colors to choose from then you select your fragrance which there are about 20 fragrances including seasonal flavors. This is as much engagement away from the table and my personal favorite part of the event. You will also measure the amount of hot wax and fragrance you will add to your candle with a weight scale and measuring cup. Keep in mind even though the event is listed for an hour when it is done it does take about 30 mins to harden so you could wait there as there are a few instagrammable photo setups there. And if you want to step out for a drink there are many bars to choose from and you can come back after. There are other small pieces and other pre-made candles there that can be purchased. Because you made a candle there, it does entitle you for a discount of future classes or a refill of a scent you would like for a highly discounted price as well. The staff here was engaging and the event overall was a good time. Keep in mind that reservations are to be made beforehand

From the time you walk in you are greeted by the beautiful aroma of the oil fragrances. I love how the shop is brightly lit. Great place to host a girls nice out, bonding event, b-day, date or just a loner who likes to do cool things on occasions. This place is Instagram worthy. Once you've completed your candle there are several spots for you to take pictures. The class isn't too long nor are the instructions difficult to follow. After completing your candle you'd have to wait 45 minutes for it to harden. You can either walk around the boulevard or retrieve it at another time. Zoey was very patient with me lol. I highly recommend this place. It's definitely worth the visit.

Such a fun and cute place. My friends brought me here to celebrate my birthday and it was an enjoyable experience. Everyone was friendly and the concept is neat. Saw couples there for date night as well as a table of ladies on their girls night out. There's parking in the back and if you knock on the back door; they will let you in. We got to candle land early and the owner was very welcoming and allowed my niece and I to hangout and take pictures before our class started. We had such a great time checking out the space and learning about different fragrances. It was so cool to make out own candles from start to finish we picked our scent and vessel. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Me and my step sister are obsessed with candles so we went here for her birthday. The woman guiding us through the process was very nice and she took it very easy for us beginners. She was very kind and patient, even when people would talk over her while she was trying to explain some things. I know it's hard to deal with some customers because I also work at a place where I deal with a lot of (good or bad) people and she did great at handling the noise. The whole experience was just amazing. Will definitely be coming back with a friend or two next time. (I made the birthday cake candle)

I met up with friends for a candle-making experience this past weekend. The place is beautiful, clean, etc.; however, the hosts lack customer service and friendliness. The "script" the host follows is meant for a 5-year-old. I felt like I was in elementary school the entire time! Do not recommend it unless there are different hosts. 0/10!

Once the instructor explains how to mix you wax and fragrance, they offer glitter and florals to add to the top. My girlfriends and I really enjoyed our visit :)

We came to Candleland over the weekend for a spontaneous girls night. We made reservations and payed ahead of time so you don't have to fuss over the bill later. $55 per candle and that includes the candle jar. Lids are available for purchase seperately. The shop is decorated so cute and has great photo ops. Even a ring light for stellar selfies. The process takes about 45 minutes and the staff was friendly and walks you through the whole process. Plenty of scents to chose from and tons of cute candle jars to choose from. We had a blast choosing what we wanted and ended up mixing two scents together to get exactly what each of us wanted. They also have flowers and glitter you can use to decorate the candle. The only thing I was missing was wanting to add a color to the candle wax, but alas, not a big deal. Once you are done making your candle, you can walk around and come back about 30-45 minutes later to pick up! Ooo and you can bring your own wine!!!

They guide you step by step on how to make a candle safely. You get to pick the choice of vessel (candle holder), scent, and decorations for the candle. The entire experience takes around 30 minutes but then you have to wait for your candle to dry, another 30-45 minutes. They have a cute gift shop as well to buy other accessories and gifts. The price per person is $50 which is pretty steep for a candle but it is more of the experience that you are paying for. The candles do smell clean and can tell they are quality. Reservations are advised.

I took my girlfriend and her mom who was in town visiting to Candle Land. It was an absolute blast and we left with 3 personalized candles that we all made! Cannot recommend this hands on experience enough.

So fun and cute! I booked my experience online and it was super easy. I made the mistake of inadvertently booking it on the wrong date and didn't realize it. Fortunately, they were very accommodating in rescheduling it. Not only was it a fun experience it was probably the best smelling candle I ever smelled.

A casual relaxed open spot that smelled amazing! Went here for a surprised date night and I enjoyed the experience. They have different size vessels to create your candles along with other things you can purchase as well. You can bring wine or beverages with you and friends to enjoy while creating your candles. I won't go into everything about some specifics because you want to go and experience it for yourself. This is a very nice place to check out for girls event or date night. I enjoyed myself.

My daughters took me for my birthday - we were looking for a special outing. While it is a cool concept, I think it is over-priced. The process itself is pretty basic, however the opportunities to make it worth the while were passed on. For ex. to have a lid on the candle it is $5 more - and the 20% discount for store items does not apply to the lid. It seems to be that paying $57 for 11 oz of wax, 20ml of fragrance oil and a glass "vessel" should have included the cap. So... 3 stars - okay - not sure I would recommend this unless you put a group together and bring some extra items to put in the candle (i.e. crystals, mint or coffee beans - depending on the flavor oil you use).

Planned a little birthday activity with some girlfriends. We arrived 10 minutes to our scheduled time which was instructed. This allows you to check in and get situated with your group. Everything was neatly prepared for each person. The instructor goes through everything step by step. It's a fairly simple process. You start off with picking your vessel which is so hard since there are so many pretty ones to chose from. From there you choose the scent of your based on different themes (fresh & clean, fruity, woody & spicy, and floral) I went with coastal cliffs which is light and airy. We mixed the oils with our wax and then we're able to decorate it with dried flowers and glitter. All in all a fun experience. Would highly recommend with someone girlfriends for a unique experience.
