"C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar, owned by Rich Clark and Jon Schwenk, closed on Friday, May 15, after four years on Etris Road in Roswell. It seems the closure of the Sweet Apple Village seafood restaurant is likely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic." - Beth McKibben

By far the BEST customer experience we’ve had all year!!! Starting with a warm welcome from the General Manager to the delightful server. While the service was amazing, so was the food. I would highly recommend C&S Chowder House for any occasion. You would not be disappointed!!!

There are a lot of good things about C&S but it is tough to be overly enthusiastic when there were a few faults. Food was great. Bloody and chowder were highlights. Service was great. Food took way too long. For $26 the lobster Cobb salad should have had more lobster. It was maybe a half a pound at most.

This place is a must go!!! Its beautiful, the food and drinks are amazing and the service is wonderful. Ask for Jordan, he's the best!! Attentive, but not annoying, efficient and professional, but very friendly. Truly an excellent dining experience. Please try the chargrilled oysters, Jordan recommended them, it was my first time and they were To die for!!! Cant wait to return!!!🤯🤯🤯

It was Roswell Restaurant Week 2020 which drew me to C&S Seafood as their menu looked delicious. For Restaurant Week it was a 3 course $35 all day menu, with the following selections. -First Course - •French Onion & Leek Soup with Gruyere cheese crouton •Seared Rare Ahi Tuna with Sicilian caponata, white truffle essence, grilled bread - Second Course - •Seared White Shrimp with artichoke puree, confit tomato, shiitake mushroom, warm olive oil with lemon and capers •Seared Scottish Salmon with asparagus, chorizo, soft garlic sauce - Third Course - •Warm Beignets with powdered sugar, praline sauce I chose the ahi tuna appetizer, which was beautifully presented, a plentiful portion and absolutely delicious. For my entree I opted for the salmon and asked for it to be prepared medium-rare. Again, another beautifully presented plate, the salmon portion was good sized and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rest of the plate wasn’t quite what I was expecting though. The asparagus were delicious, but they had been carefully cut in half, so what looked like three asparagus spears on my plate, was really only 1.5 asparagus, a few more would have been nice. There was no sign or taste of the chorizo to be found, and the “soft garlic sauce” was most definitely a mustard sauce. Now I didn’t mention any of this to the waiter because in all honesty I didn’t care about the missing chorizo and the mustard sauce was quite delicious, but it would have been nice to get what was actually ordered. For dessert the Restaurant Week option was the Beignets, but they hadn’t been prepared yet, so I was offered a choice of their other desserts. I opted for the key lime pie. I would say this is one to pass on. The filling was smooth but it lacked the tang of a good key lime pie, and the crust was on the soggy side. Not worth the calories or the price. The service, presentation, and the seafood of the meal were all wonderful. There were a few things that were “off” but overall a good experience and I will definitely give C&S a visit on another day.

Kids and I went here for my birthday. REAL key lime pie made in house, amazing salmon and my kids loved the pasta. We ordered a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake for appetizer and kids ate it with me. Great atmosphere and classy, but they were still happy to have my kids at the place. Very friendly, I highly recommend!

If you are a seafood lover you have to try this restaurant. Believe me , It worth it. I had the pleasure to come to eat at this restaurant for a second time and EVERYTHING was excellent like the first time. Not complaints at all. Matt is a excellent server, we felt very comfortable with his attention. Must eat: grilled octopus, oysters (fresh and Rockefeller), mussel in a white sauce. You are not going to regret. Thank you chef and staff for a great food, thank you Matt and the General Manager for a excellent attention.

Loved the Connecticut charm of this place and the cod sandwich was delicious! First place I have been in a long time that made tartar sauce right! Will try the lobster roll next time. Mmm delicious! Staff was nice and attentive! I will definitely be back!

The line for the restaurant next door was almost an hour wait. This place was half empty, so I ate here even though I was nervous to try it based on it being half empty. I ordered the lazy woman's lobster (taken out of the shell) with Oscar (king crab sauce). It was very good. But it was such a small portion, served over asparagus that I couldn't get past the fact that it was a fistful of food for $50. The service was AMAZING!!
