Best downtown Detroit restaurants for the North American International Auto Show | Eater Detroit

"Candy Bar is great for a night cap that offers not-so-subtle hints of Hollywood glamor. Reservations are recommended to secure one of the plush booths, but the curved marble bar inside the tiny, luxe space is always open on a first-come, first-served basis. Take in the hulking glass chandelier bar top while sipping on a rotating menu of cocktails." - Serena Maria Daniels

Where to Order Manhattans in Detroit This February | Eater

"Candy Bar is a glittering jewel box of a cocktail bar, a pink-hued hideaway located inside Downtown’s Siren Hotel with an understated elegance that matches that of the boutique hotel. Every square inch of the intimate space begs to be photographed, especially the showstopper of a chandelier that serves as its centerpiece. Booths are lined in a soft pink velvet with chrome and marble accents and a mirrored back bar that makes the space seem much more open. Named “Michigan’s most beautifully designed bar,” the space oozes with the feel of old Hollywood glamor and art deco opulence. Throughout the month, Candy Bar will serve “The 13th Floor,” featuring Angel’s Envy Rye Finished in Rum Casks, amaro syrup, and orange." - Vox Creative

Here’s Where to Eat and Drink in Downtown Detroit

"After enjoying a bite at Karl’s stop by Candy Bar downstairs for a night cap that reveals hints of Hollywood glamor. Reservations are recommended to secure one of the plush booths, but the curved marble bar inside the tiny, luxe space is always open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Take in the hulking glass chandelier bar top while sipping on a rotating menu of cocktails." - Serena Maria Daniels
