Yelp
Very nice and fun bar! Food is delicious here and the service is great! They have a live band playing at 8 pm so that was nice to enjoy while eating dinner!

Elliott W.

Yelp
The food a Jane's was delicious. Starting with the happy hour deviled eggs and okra fries for $5, and the happy hour Negroni, $8. The fried chicken was a standout with a light, delicate, and crispy batter. Delicious sweet potatoes and greens underneath. The chicken pit pie was piping hot and also delicious although it could use some pepper. I was a little surprised by the $22 black Manhattan... but it was good. Should have been $15. The music was too loud, thus a reduction in points. It was good bluegrass, but made conversation impossible.

Yelp
My sister and I went Saturday night. We liked the environment. We ordered the okra to start and it was not good. Some pieces were nice and crispy others would not break off. My confit chicken was amazing. The music started at 8 and was great. Overall the food is good and the environment is fun.

Nimish P.

Yelp
Fun place. Good live music. Christmas pop up was cool w/special drinks. I thought food was so-so but that's ok, I wasn't expecting much.

Kirk F.

Yelp
Fan-tastic! Went there on a Monday, it was not crowded, yet the musicians put their hearts in it. It felt more like a house party than anything else, the musicians and the audience were having fun. Reasonably priced and well made food and drinks completed the picture. This was my favorite evening on my Nashville trip!

Ashley M.

Yelp
The service was great -- very hospitable and kind. The ambiance is chill and a great place for live music. Perfect for dinner or a date. We ordered the honey hot BLT, pot pie and crispy brussel sprouts. The chicken pot pie was absolutely amazing -- pretty sure it's made from scratch. The brussel sprouts had a nice balance of spice seasoning and flavor. The honey hot BLT was also not a bad choice but I didn't really notice the honey hot side of things. For drinks, we ordered the cosmo cocktail and a whiskey sour. Overall, this is such a great place and I loved getting to experience it. A huge kudos to the staff - they are wonderful.

Yelp
This place is a gem in east Nashville. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a nice quaint lounge and restaurant in the inside. The casual interior is inviting to the t-shirt and jeans kind of people like me. The staff is friendly and laid back. The menu is southern comfort food. I started with some delicious deviled eggs mades with pickled eggs and toppings. That was followed up with meatloaf. The eggs were a hit. The meatloaf was pretty decent. I finished with a hearty cocktail called Pony boy. It was heavy on the aromatics with Gin and beets dominating the flavor. That was balanced out nicely by citrus and a little sweetness.

Yelp
Awesome Find in Nashville You. Must. Go. The food is outrageously good, the blue grass band was great, and the whiskey tasting brought it all together. Paige did a great job taking care of us and pacing the meal so that we did not feel rushed. We had the Whiskey Tasting Dinner and it didn't disappoint. John and another bartender walked us through each of the five Tennessee whiskies, and made them each come alive with descriptions and histories. We accidentally received a serving of the okra as an appetizer and even that was good (I usually despise okra). Jane's is a hole-in-the-wall next to a paint store and a must visit for anyone in Nashville.

Yelp
So nice small venue tapas great service what a nice music experience singer songwriters and keyboards guitar's great food! Did I say fantastic service and you can actually hear yourself think! And talk to who you are with!! Wow exactly what you imagine a perfect Nashville music experience without the maddening crowds and unbearably loud amplification. Just music and fabulous food and perfect drinks and an accommodating staff perfect thank you

Yelp
Jane's hideaway is definitely hidden....as many of times I've been to Dino's I never noticed this establishment that's right next door. Heard great things about it and decided to give it a try tonight. The staff here is amazing. Paige was our server who was phenomenal. She was very attentive and recommended the food choices of the night. If you go, definitely ask for Paige. Confit fried chicken-5/5 you can't go wrong here. Skin is season and crispy just how I like it. There isn't heavy breading, just the chicken skin itself which made this meal not as heavy had the chicken been coated with breading. The greens were spicy, but seasoned really well. A definite southern comfort food along with the sweet potato purée. Not a lot of sweet potato purée came with the dish, but it was just the right amount to tone down the spice of the greens. I love okra, so the okra fries are a must. 5/5 no doubt. Surf and Turf- 4/5 the meat was flavorful. The grits and shrimp were fairly decent. The plate didn't come out piping hot, more like lukewarm. The drinks were delicious. I highly recommend "Dial Up" and "Pineapple Tours." Pineapple Tours has a hint of coconut in it, so if you're not a coconut fan this may not be the drink for you. Chill vibe Cool spot Live music Great food and drinks Not sure what more you could ask for! Go give it a try and see for yourself.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite stops in Nashville. The drinks were creative and tasty. The food was, conceptually, my favorite style of food: newish takes on old classics. The live music was great. My only qualm is that the food was a bit on the spendy side for what you get. I'll definitely be back!

Ian G.

Yelp
Painfully slow and pretentious! Nearly 30 minutes to get a drink and it wasn't even busy. Music was good but otherwise it's a pass.

John R.

Yelp
Happy hour is great, everything on that menu was killer! Staff is nice and knowledgeable of the area for all of us travelers. Inside was impressive, wife loved all the hanging flowers.

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Loved the live music and ambiance. Great drinks and good vibe on a Wed night! Will definitely visit again when in town.

Gloria J.

Yelp
As a visitor, this was a fun spot away from the craziness of Broadway. Service and food was nice too

Kristina T.

Yelp
We are visiting Nashville this week and wanted to try something different and that wasn't a chain restaurant. My husband came across Jane's Hideaway and it did not disappoint. They had just opened for dinner so it wasn't busy when we arrived. The service was great and they were very attentive. Food came out quickly and hot and tasty! I highly recommend their Deviled Eggs as a starter. I had the Squash Risotto. It seemed a little more like a rice pilaf but was still very good!! It's a cute little hole in the wall bar/restaurant that also offers live music. We were there too early to be able to check that out. It's was a tad dark inside so it made it harder to read the menu but overall our experience was fantastic!!

Deborah J.

Yelp
Fantastic food, the best service, super talented musicians. Honestly the best. If you are only going out on/off Broadway, get over here for a night. So good!

Joe N.

Yelp
What a joy!! We had an amazing evening. The music was world-class, and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Scott S.

Yelp
Outstanding in every way. Brussels app, meatloaf supper, Mac and cheese, cocktails, whisky and dessert pairing, live music....this is my new #2 fave in Nashville along with Utban Grub. Excellent service too. Couldn't have been any better.

Frank B.

Yelp
We had dinner at Dino's next door, and decided to stop in Jane's for a few drinks. Nice concept, though the bar stools are extremely uncomfortable. The band was not my taste (a fiddle and a banjo). That being said, I felt they were not great in their own right. The biggest issue was when the bill came. We spent $62 on drinks, but were charged an additional 20% for sales tax. So, buyer beware!

Morgan D.

Yelp
My sister booked a table at Jane's Hideaway for us before the Maren Morris concert at Bridgestone. We were delighted when we arrived and this place was DECKED OUT for Christmas Jane's Hideaway becomes Candy Cane Janes pop up in December complete with Christmas trees, music and wrapped gifts everywhere. There are holiday specialty drinks that you could enjoy all night. We tried the Blitzen, spiked hot chocolate and espresso martini. All were fabulous. My sister and I split the redneck shishito peppers appetizer and the steak sandwich and we were very satisfied. My cousin had the catfish plate and the black eyed peas, greens and corn bread were really something special. When I go back I want to try the sweet tea pork chop. The service was attentive but not too speedy because there were a lot of people at the bar. We didn't mind too much because the whole place was such a winter wonderland! We Uber we but there is a parking lot next door.

Claire C.

Yelp
My boyfriend & I went into Jane's Hideaway on a Sunday looking for some live music, food and drinks. We can't stop talking about how lucky we are that we picked this restaurant. I had a drink called Comet. It was a wonderful vodka cocktail with a little sweetness. My boyfriend had the Arabica Old Fashion and enjoyed his drink too. We had the Okra fries as an appetizer. Very good but pretty spicy. I ordered the Crawfish Pasta as my meal and he ordered the flank steak. We can not get over how good the food was. The environment was incredible as well and we happened to go on a night with amazing live artist. The band is called Domino with Addie Levy, Cole Ritter & Luca Chiappara. We were in Nashville for a whole weekend and they were by far the most talented we came across. Overall, an awesome little place with the nicest people. Show out to our waiter!!

Greg H.

Yelp
Food, service, drinks all superior. The music that night was a real treat! Drinks were soooooo good, and family style meal we made we put together was good to the last bite!

Laura G.

Yelp
Obsessed! Love bluegrass! Adorable space. Our server was incredibly nice? Drinks were good! I loved the okra fries and the Brussels sprouts. My hot chicken wasn't amazing (thin cut of chicken) but it was still good. Catfish plate was delish. 10/10.

Brenden M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Jane's Hideaway. I had the meatloaf and it was very good, super tasty. The music and drinks were really good too. They had 3 different bands perform and that was on a Monday and they were all very talented. Would highly recommend for a local feeling spot.

JJ J.

Yelp
Jane's Hideaway was one of my favorite things about my recent trip to Nashville. It's open late, which was a plus considering that we were attending an event and got out a bit past when a lot of restaurants had closed. The ambience of Jane's is fantastic--intimate without being too small, cool aesthetics, and a great crowd. The music was loud without being too loud, and it felt like we got to experience some of Broad Street's charm without having to be downtown. And then there's the food--best meal I've had in Nashville thus far! The fried okra is fantastic, which is not a sentence I thought I'd ever type. So crispy with a dipping sauce that will knock your socks off! I had the steak sandwich and upgraded my side to a mac and cheese, a decision I did NOT regret. Service was great and the bill was reasonable. I will definitely be back on future trips!

Kim S.

Yelp
Amazing musicians, delicious food and super friendly and attentive service! A must stop in East Nashville for dinner!

Heather Rose M.

Yelp
Jane's is a bluegrass supper club that recently opened in East Nashville. To start, the food was nothing shy of delicious. We had the brussel sprouts and the portabella mushroom. I had the waitress surprise me with her favorite cocktail and she hit me with the Dial Up- a gin drink with peach tea, honey, lemon & basil oil... I highly recommend. Our waitress went above and beyond, we never felt rushed yet she made sure to check on us frequently and give great recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised with the live bluegrass on a Thursday and did not complain. The band was great. You can never go wrong with an old-fashioned country western bluegrass with a banjo. The music wasn't too loud and set the ambiance for an intimate yet lively setting fit for any crowd. Come check it out!!

Yelp
Great place to have a bite to eat, listen to good music that starts early, and get home at decent hour. The devil eggs are fabulous and the meatloaf sandwich special on Wednesday's is stellar. I like that we can be guaranteed a table by getting reservations. The service is very friendly and efficient. It's small, intimate and well executed.

Chrissy C.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. We ordered this Everything Bagel caeser salad and fried Okra. Both were delicious. Cocktails were very good too. One Jane's Old Fashioned and one Comet. We will surely be back!

Amanda B.

Yelp
We recently went to Jane's to see the Christmas pop up. They did an amazing job, and the live music was fun! It's cozy with multiple style seating options! We had to wait for a table, but after not too long of a wait another party didn't show up and they quickly sat us and brought water out. Our server was great! She was super bubbly and friendly! The drink all tasted wonderful as well, and very fun themed names. I also want to shout out the host. This man kept coming to our table, and the host came over when he walked away to make sure we knew him/felt safe! This was above and beyond what I expected out of the employees at a packed bar on a Saturday night! Huge thanks to them for looking out, and helping ensure everyone had an amazing time.

Dave C.

Yelp
Found this on the day of our arrival. Luckily got on wait list but GET a reservation. We sat right in front of the great band munching on a tasty burger and sipping potent margheritas served by a great waitress, Kaylin, who served the entire crowd without a hitch. Thanks Kaylin, the cook, the bartender, and Greenwood Rye for a great night out.

Stephen H.

Yelp
Candy Cane Janes was an impulse Christmas stop for my wife and I. We decided to make a reservation for a table, which was clutch as the bar was standing room only and was packed the whole time we stayed. The food was good and the drinks were solid. We mainly came for the Christmas decorations and the people watching which did not disappoint. We ended up eating at Xiao Bao down the street after 2 entrees so this may be more of a jumping off point rather than a final destination for your night in Nashville during the holiday season at least.

Becca B.

Yelp
Enjoy your breakfast/brunch listening to live country artists on the stage! I was blown away by the artists that were performing the morning we went. The dishes were extremely tasteful and will have you feeling stuffed when leaving. Jane's Hideaway is known as one of the best restaurants in Nashville. Make sure to reserve a table before you go in! Pictured below: The Chicken & Waffles dish and the Jane's Poutine (handmade breakfast potatoes topped with short ribs in gravy, cheese curds, and a fried egg.

Yelp
This review is for the Holiday Pop-up on the 6th floor, not the downstairs. Very cute place located in Printer's Alley downtown with indoor and outdoor seating, holiday drinks and pizza as well! Would have loved to give a higher rating because the holiday decor and vibes were really nice, however there was an unfortunate kitchen meltdown. We waited 50 mins for our pizza and ended up actually just voiding the transaction due to the super long wait time. After waiting for 30 mins, we did ask about our order status and the bar tender said that one of the belts broke in the pizza machine, so throughput time was cut in half (they have to send each pizza through twice), but our order was coming up. We waited for another 20 mins before, didn't have the luxury of waiting any longer and got a refund. Other groups that ordered were also getting frustrated that their pizza was taking so long. They actually stopped taking orders because they were so backed up. It would have been nice if they informed us instead of having us just waiting there wondering where our food was or offering some type of comp for waiting so long. The bar tender was also veryyy slow, not sure if she's new but it took her a really long time to make the drinks. She was stirring a drink for a solid 3 minutes, while appreciated, this was on a crowded bar on Friday night. Would love to stop by again and try out the restaurant downstairs with the live music.

Jen G.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Jane's Hideaway while visiting Nashville and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The drinks are well made, the service is helpful and friendly, and the music is fabulous. We went two night in a row and had a great time both nights. We didn't try the food but everyone we talked to who did had great things to say.

Mike H.

Yelp
Jane's hideaway is a cute speakeasy bar also serving full meals. Currently they have the whole bar covered in Christmas trees as well as holiday themed cocktails. Parking a little hard, but find a side street around the corner.

Crystal R.

Yelp
You will need reservations to come here but we got lucky and was early, so we got a seat at the bar. Honestly, This was the best tasting food we found in Nashville. You wouldn't think to come here to eat, but I highly recommend. Everything we ordered was soo good. The bar tender, We thought at first wasn't going to be friendly but he wound up also being the nicest bartender we met while there. The drinks he made were also top notch. Very skilled. The live music was great as well. This place is a must stop!

Joy A.

Yelp
This is a great spot if you want to have an authentic Nashville experience away from Broadway. My husband and I went on Monday night and there weren't that many people there, so I hope more people find out about this place because both the food and ambiance are fantastic. There was true live country music playing and the musicians played extremely well especially the fiddle player Nate Leath who plays there every Monday. They have a Live Music schedule on their website where you can see who's playing. We enjoyed the chicken pot pie and the spicy chicken sandwich and the homemade apple pie for dessert will remind you of your Grandma's cooking. The service was great and attentive and the prices are very affordable. This was our favorite restaurant experience in Nashville and we highly recommend.

Mary B.

Yelp
Wow! This is such a great restaurant. We had three days in Nashville and we ate there twice. The food was the best. Our favorites were cornbread, meatloaf and chicken pot pie. Tiffany was our waitress and she was charming.

Debi H.

Yelp
We hit this place for Happy Hour; bartender was very pleasant efficient and friendly. Great deal $8 old fashioneds which were on point! We had 3, so when our bill came to almost $40 we were a little surprised. There was a large surcharge added, on top of tax and tip. If this was for service workers fair wages, etc...we are all for it, but it would've only been courteous to be told about this either on the menu or the bartender herself.

Toni M.

Yelp
The burgers are amazing! The restaurant is really small so get there early or make a reservation if you want to be seated. They play good music and the staff is always pretty cool. Also, food I mention how good the burger is? It was really good. However, I would stay away from the overpriced cornbread. I ordered the cornbread because it sounded really good on the menu but was shocked when it came out as a really small peice of bread with no flavor and corn peices, I couldn't believe it was $8. I think it should be about $2, but that's just my opinion.

Paige H.

Yelp
We've been eating here for over a year and have literally never had a bad meal. The owner and staff are incredibly kind. One night, my mom lost her mitten and I came back two weeks later and the waitress had found it and held it in her purse, waiting for me to come back. The live music is great, the art is fun, and it feels like an upscale meal with an approachable menu. Can't recommend more.

Nate I.

Yelp
The food and service were awesome. Hilary with one L was fantastic! Ask for her. She won't steer you wrong.

Jess K.

Yelp
Not accommodating to service dogs. Would not let my service dog in and was not willing to let me order to-go outside.

Allison B.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome vibe. The meatloaf and deviled eggs were great. I know this might be a weird complaint but the drinks were kind of strong. I was a bartender for a while and I get that most people want strong drinks but we had to dilute them to make them drinkable. Otherwise, the vibe, music and food is amazing and I will definitely return.

Brendan B.

Yelp
Good food, fun atmosphere, live music, & friendly service. Really liked the fried chicken.

Debbi S.

Yelp
What a great little find. The bar is dark and has a perfectly good bluesy vibe going. The drinks were creative and delicious. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had the chicken pot pie and I'm still thinking about it. So much chicken I couldn't even begin to eat it all. Not too crowded and great live music.

Ely C.

Yelp
So fun! Extremely talented musicians and amazing food. Went with my parents and it definitely was a vibe. Excellent service!
