Great stop for a candy fix. Love the foamy zoos! A wonderful addition to this neighborhood.

As a swede I was very excited to check out the CandyKing’s first store here in NY. It’s a cute store but the selection of candy is quite limited and didn’t really have some of the more authentic types I was craving, and to me the price is not justifiable.

I am surprised by this quality of goodness this store has to offer when it just opened! I went here on that opening day, and I am going to go here multiple times. Candy is just stop on, before you say that there are many other candy places, just to let you know, this place is very close to an elementary school. Also, it is nearby us, so it is pleasant to see something like this open this close! From sugary and happy thoughts and fellings.

Was hoping for something different, but there was an extremely wide variety of candy choices. I was hoping for British candy. CandyKing is Swedish. I did get a few things to try and they were quite good.

What a great new store in the heart of Bleeker Street - definitely stop in for some sweet treats & a fun atmosphere with the great team! Excited to visit again next time I’m in town! Thanks so much to Diamond and the team :)

I love Swedish salted licorice and it’s hard to find them at the other Swedish candy stores in NYC. I was so impressed by the variety and quality here! Everything felt really clean, thoughtfully curated, and the prices were great! Diamond was incredibly kind and helpful and even threw in some extra salted licorice as a freebie, which totally made my day. I’ll definitely be back often!

Yelp
This candy store has different types of candy that have been imported from Sweden. It is a decent size shop and very clean and all the candy is well organized. You can pick and mix your candy in a bag or a bucket. You also recycle your scoopers after you are done scooping candy that you want. They do allow you to taste the candy before picking what you want. They ask for you to take one with your scooper and put it into your own hand. The person that works here is very friendly. If you do have food allergies though, the store can't promise that there is no cross contamination since people only get one scooper and can put it into different boxes of candy they want. Below each candy box they have ingredients listed and a warning about cross contamination. If you find your self in the area go check it out. It opened just yesterday.
