Canffle

The food is great! Do not get me wrong.. but the service (or lack of) is quite questionable and yet…. That prompt for a “service tip” at the ordering counter after you dine in.. I mean they’re only taking our order, serving the plate and then they don’t even come over and ask the basics “hey, how is everything tasting?” Personal recommendation is the Croffle Salmon Sandwich. Ben’s Table platter is pretty awesome too!

We went to try their weekday morning specials for $10 per item. It was a great morning deal from 8am-10am only. The food overall was very good. Portions were generous for the price you paid. Too bad it is only offered on weekdays.

We went in to try it because there was a line. The sandwich was delicious, with a crispy crust and rich flavor! We loved it. The environment was very clean!

I went on a holiday morning a couple weeks ago and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the croffle club sandwich! We also ordered the egg drop sandwich and a good warmer sweet croffle, all 10/10. The portions were larger than I expected but what blew me away was the service. A staff member saw that I had not finished my sandwich and offered me a togo box before I even asked! Overall, I would return for just the croffle club alone but the service and atmosphere make it a gem :)

I dropped by canffle for a brunch with my toddler and my girlfriend. It was her choice of place and I was glad to come here. The menu is pretty straightforward. It had three I think types of waffles? And the prices weren’t bad. At first I thought a sandwich that I got for 18.75 was really expensive, but there were two sandwiches. With that said, I thought it wasn’t that bad. The croissant/ waffle thing was crunchy outside and soft inside. I forgot what I ordered but the eggs and the sandwich was nicely soft and the sauce had a kick to it. The sauce helped it not be too heavy? I couldn’t need to sandwiches. I brought one home. My toddler had a croffle with berries and he enjoyed it. The cream on it wasn’t too sweet, so that was nice. The only thing was the atmosphere was kind of not so restaurant like? It felt kinda like a takeout spot with very limited seating. Still, I thought the food was pretty decent and the girls working there were very nice. And it wasn’t super pricey either. Next time I feel like having this croissant plus waffle thing, I’ll drop by canffle.

Canffle was amazing and different. Omg, it is a must-have when in Vancouver. I went with a friend, and both orders were amazing. The service was great, too. We were attended to almost immediately, and our food was served in a timely manner.

I happened to come across Happy Morning while taking a walk and decided to stop in. The egg sandwich and plain omelet were surprisingly delicious. Although the coffee wasn’t quite as good as I expected, it paired well with the croffle~👍

Awesome croffle sandwiches. The salmon egg benny is amazing. The croffles have a wonderful consistency between crispy and chewy texture. Their dessert waffles are equally fresh and tasty. I’d highly recommend this place. It is very busy during weekends.

Delicious brunch place that won't break the bank. Eggs are so fluffy and crossiants are so crispy. Lots of options even for vegans. Pretty decent drink menu to go with your brunch too which is something i can appreciate. There's only street parking available for this place. Service was a 5/5, the place was busy and lively. Stopped by this little hidden gem on a Sunday morning for brunch with no reservations and we were seated right away for a table for 3. Main highlight of this place is that they are very pocket friendly with quality food and good portion sizes. Drinks: White chocolate mocha - 5/5 you could taste the while chocolate and coffee flavours and it wasn't too sweet. mocha - 4/5 not too sweet but lighter on the coffee bellacoola lemonade - 2/5 it was too sweet, I couldn't finish it. Food (you have a choice of brussels, mochi, or croffle waffle) beef teriyaki sandwich - over easy eggs, katsuobushi, teriyaki sauce, green and red onions. 5/5 it was super flavourful, we chose the brussels waffle for this one. chicken basil melt - pesto, poached chicken, cheese and salad on the side. I would say 4/5, could have had more pesto but still pretty good! corn cheese melts - 4/5 definitely cheese, but not too flavourful. Came with a side of salad. It's a great spot for an impromptu brunch that's pocket friendly.

Saw on Yelp with great reviews. Went there with my family on a weekend, around noon and it was busy. On waitlist, 30 mins wait. Can dine in or take out. Dine in is about 10 tables or so...seating capacity of 25 Street parking available. Friendly service and available. Food was fresh and delicious. Family enjoyed it. Ambience is casual with windows for bright natural light environment. Would recommend and be back. we came to this spot on our last day in van. for brunch and waited around 45 minutes to be served.. but it was SO WORTH my parents kept complimenting the taste and its visuals so that's definitely a rare and telltale sign! the food was hot when it was served which made our wait all the better -- with the croffle's outer layer crunchy yet soft and chewy within they did not skimp out on the fillings because both sandwiches were absolutely stuffed (and so were we)! the bacon benny was such a well-balanced plate that everything worked so harmoniously.. the.. MOCHI.. WAFFLE.. it was so incredible! we ended up taking a sandwich each to-go to enjoy on the rest of our trip because one was already so filling. without a doubt, one of my favorite vancouver finds

Stopped by for lunch at this newly opened spot in the Joyce-Kingsway area, and it did not disappoint! We ordered an Egg Sandwich and an Avocado Sandwich, both served as a combo with a drink. Everything was delicious--the bread was incredibly fluffy, and the fillings were super generous. Safe to say we were both stuffed... just like our sandwiches! Service was warm and friendly, making the experience even better. There are a few tables inside, and we had no trouble finding a seat. I'll definitely be back to try their Cheese Melts or Croffles--can't wait!

Delicious breakfast menu with various types of waffles to choose from. The service was good and their happy morning menu is a fantastic deal if you can make it in early ($7-10 for breakfast + coffee). There's a good amount of seating if you go for breakfast but by lunch there may be a wait. Recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

We dined in and both got the matcha cream croffle. I found the croffle but thought there was a bit too much cream although it did have a good matcha flavor. The croffle itself was a bit hard and didn't taste as soft as I would have liked.

Came here for a second time and really enjoyed it again. This time I tried the clubhouse croffle and really enjoyed it too. It was busy for a Friday but probably because it was over the holidays and everyone was off.

I love this restaurant! It's cute and intimate where when you first walk in, you're hit with the heartwarming smell of waffles (or more likely croffles) at Canffle. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, quick to help out at even the tiniest cues. I spilled maybe two drops of water and they brought a stack of napkins that I almost felt a little sorry. I got the Belgian waffle for my beef omelette which was only so-so because I ate it too slowly and the waffle got a bit wet from the heat. This didn't dampen my experience since it still tasted amazing and thankfully, I had ordered two croffles with my party of 4 to share. The croffles were so tasty and crunchy and just everything you want in a waffle. The veggies were fresh and nothing was too heavy (assuming you share the meal with others because the portion sizes are huge!). 10/10 would go again. My only regret is not trying the dessert croffles because of how full I was from the mains. Their Matcha Latte is also insanely good that I ordered a takeout one to go after my meal.

Service was good & friendly. Place was very clean, including restroom. Brunch was excellent. We had the salmon benny, ham benny (both on Brussels waffle) and very berry cream cronffle. Loved it! Highly recommend.

I thought Canffle meant Canadian waffle, but apparently it just means can (as in canned drinks) and waffle. Hmmmm. The menu has pictures (very appreciated) of their pretty and creative waffle dishes. There are cool savoury waffle sandwiches. We had the matcha cream croffle, which was airy and creamy.

I didn't know what to expect here. I thought it was like Canadian Waffles or something but the name is actually a combination of croissant and waffles. They have croissant-waffles or "croffles" which are excellent.

Cute croffle place on Kingsway that's open early! I had the salmon croffle with americano and it was really filling. The place is small so it gets busy but you can also take out! I wish I took a picture of my croffle but next time for sure I will!

After a hearty lunch, my friends and I went to Canffle to enjoy some dessert waffle. I was amazed by the selection of waffles available which ranged from savoury breakfast waffles to sandwich waffles to sweet dessert waffles. I was truly impressed at the versatility of the waffle. My friends and I shared the matcha cream croffle which was absolutely delicious. The matcha cream wasn't too sweet and not too bitter. The cream was fluffy and airy. As the name suggests, the croffle is a mix of croissant and waffle and it lived up to its name as it was flaky like a croissant, but had the shape and texture of a waffle - truly delightful. My friend was displeased with the name Canffle for 2 reasons. Firstly, she argued with her whole chest that it stood for Canadian Waffle, but in reality it just stands for Can (canned drinks ??) Waffle. Secondly, she debated that the name Canffle does not roll off the tongue appropriately. Despite not rolling off the tongue, Canffle still satisfied the taste buds on my tongue.

Holy! Never knew I needed a Canffle until I had one! Was craving eggs but something sweet too. This did the trick. It's a purpose made waffle wrap with eggs and cheese and I added asparagus and omitted the ham. I've been craving eggs done right and now I'm egged-out, in a good way. It fulfilled my craving and then some. It was incredibly delicious, love the hint of sweetness. Eggs and cheese were cooked perfectly although there was so much of it, I even removed half! What a breakfast treat. The coffee comes in cans. I didn't really get it but they must make it right there and it gets delivered without spills and the container is recyclable! Ordered an iced chai with oat milk and it arrived just the right temp, still with ice! Impressed overall, would order again as well as recommend!

Cute brunch spot with a fun concept. Choose between 3 types of waffles: brussel, croffle, or mochi. Portions are big! Washrooms are very clean. Only downside is the restaurant is smoky and cold. Salmon benny: eggs benny on a croffle is so much better than eggs benny on an English muffin! The croffle was light and fluffy. Too many raw red onions, I picked out a few. Croffle beef teriyaki sandwich: it comes with two sandwiches! The beef was so flavourful and the ingredients all mixed well together. I will be back to try their sweet croffle and mochi waffle.

My favorite spot for waffles and croffles! They do everything so well. I especially love the mochi waffles, it's chewy and slightly sweet. So if you eat it with the benny, it's like sweet & salty YUM. They also have delicious sweet croffles with a variety of options for the toppings. I love the salt cream coffee, it's not like SALTY but it's like sweet and slightly salted cream! It can get crowded on weekends!

Clean, bright, friendly, major value and tasty--what more can you want??? This place is so spectacular we came here two days in a row on our Canada vacation. Thank you for lovely food and amazing service. Our portions were so HUGE that both visits I could not finish my food--not even close. If my partner and I agreed on food we could just share, but alas... First visit I tried the waffle sandwich. It was genius! Like a non-sweet waffle croissant with the perfect amount of toppings and everything. I cannot exactly explain the perfection of it all, you just gotta try it. Next day, I tried a different version--a poached chicken with pesto and two cheeses over top of a perfect waffle with a massive side salad. It's just so much value for the price, but seriously, it takes two to finish these meals. The partner had salmon both visits but different types, just as I had poached chicken both visits. He had a salmon waffle sandwich first visit, much like my poached chicken. Second day, he went with the salmon Benny. #delicious Our small fry had a chocolate and cream waffle first visit and TWO waffles the second day. Wow! The coffees are wonderful, the portions are massive and the service staff are so kind and helpful. What's not to love?

This place I am shook how good it is and how I never came here prior. They are bomb and delicious. Not to mention they have an amazing variety. * Iced americano ($4.24 -12oz/ $4.75-16oz) ~ pretty good it was rich and a good roast. 8/10. * Iced latte ($4.75 - 12oz / $5.25/16oz) ~ adding vanilla syrup (+0.60) ~ delicious, it wasn't too sweet and had good amount of milk which you can still taste the coffee 7/10. * Beef teriyaki melt ($16.75)~ unique it had beef and loads of cheese on it. I liked the bonito flakes on top and the teriyaki and mayo sauce was good. I do wish there was more teriyaki flavouring to the beef though. Comes with side salad pairing. 7.5/10. * Egg droffle ($16.75)~ bomb, sweet spicy buttery and savoury. It was sooo good. I'm honestly impressed. The croffle was so crispy and flakey. And that egg was so soft and fluffy. I especially love the condensed milk and spicy mayo. 10/10. * Salmon Benny ($19.75) ~ delicious we got this with the mochi waffle and it did not disappoint. The mochi waffle was crispy and crunchy on the outside and super soft and chewy on the inside. It was a bit sweet too which was nice: the smoked salmon tasted exceptionally good with the avocado and soft poached egg. It was delicious with the hollandaise sauce too! 9.5/10 * The classic ($14.50) ~ delicious that icecream paired so well with the Brussel waffle and it was crunchy and soft and chewy. The brûlée banana was so delicious with a crunchy sweet coating and soft banana. 9.5/10. * Matcha chocolate ($7.50) ~ the matcha cream was good and prominent in matcha it's the sweeter matcha rather than a bitter matcha but paired well with the chocolate chips and drizzle. 7.5/10. * Very berry cream ($7.50) ~ that cream was so good! Solid brunch spot on Kingsway! Sounds like it just opened up last summer and there can be a long wait, but when my friend and I came for Sunday brunch around noon, we were seated immediately after checking in. There was a party of 3 ahead of us that was waiting for a spot, so I guess it helped we were a smaller group. They offer a variety of brunch items that all come with a waffle, including breakfast platters, benedicts, omelettes, sandwiches, etc. If you're here for dessert, they got you covered too, with a variety of toppings for your waffle. You get seated first but have to get up to place your order at the counter. My friend tried their house signature dish - the Norwegian brown cheese waffle ($5.99) as well as one of the melts. I was super hungry, so I ordered the Ben's Table ($21.50), which based on the description had a little bit of everything. I tried a bite of the Norwegian brown cheese waffle and it was super interesting. It's a sweet and savory dish with two crispy and thin waffles placed on top of each other with some whipped cream in between, and topped with maple syrup and brown cheese. I've never quite seen anything like this before, but surprisingly the combo works. You just have to eat it immediately since that's when it's crispiest. The Ben's Table comes with a small salad, tomatoes, bacon, chorizo, avocado, mushrooms, asparagus, baked beans, and two pieces of your choice of waffle between brussels croffle, and mochi. Canffle is most known for their croffle, so I chose that. It's a huge portion (I barely managed to finish it) and everything was delicious, but I will say, it was a really random assortment of meat and veggies. When I first got it, I wasn't sure where to start, since there was so much on the plate! Each item on the plate was solid, with my favorites being the croffle, ham, and sauteed mushrooms. The croffle was very buttery and crispy on the outside. The only thing I didn't like was the beans, but that's because I don't like sweet beans to begin with. I'd love to come back and try the mochi waffle next time! I tried a bite of my friend's and it was chewy and delicious as well.

Definitely wanted to try this place out! It's a cute new spot under some newly developed condos and the pricing isn't so bad right now for brunch here! Although the wait for a table because it can get busy on weekend is pretty bad, hope they could get maybe more seating outside or something but I'd recommend going early just for a table otherwise the wait seems like a long time for a table. I really enjoyed the traditional Bennys and how they poach their eggs, it's very runny and soft, it tastes great over their signature waffle. I got their croffle waffle and it's very crispy waffle I even tried their dessert and it was good! It's a perfect waffle for both savoury and sweet dishes! I also like all the salad and herbs, it felt fresh and the whole dish was really filling! The salmon Benny had very thinly sliced salmon which is nice The mixed berry ade is mostly just berries mixed with sprite it wasn't anything spectacular. The presentation is nice and I like the look of the dish, would love to come again!

I actually never liked pancakes and waffles but Canffle changed that. I came here with two friends C and H. I ordered the deluxe pizza melt with no olives. OMG that was a bomb. It was super flavorful. They were generous on the cheese. The pizza came with a side of greens. The surprising part was that the waffle was sweet and fluffy inside and still had that nice outside crispy crunch. I loved it. It was a nice treat. When we arrived at 11:30am, there were about 5 party in front of us waiting to be seated. Most people who come here do take out. The restaurants itself is very small with very limited seating. The place is somewhat self serve. Yes you go up and order and pay in advance. The server will bring you your food when it is ready. If you want water or anything like that, you will have to pour or get it yourself. Overall, this is a solid brunch spot on Kingsway. I really enjoyed the food here and highly recommend coming. I told B that I will bring him here.

New waffle shop on the block! Canffle is located on Kingsway a block away from Boundary on ground level of a brand new residential building. Be warned - this is neighborhood with HEAVY traffic, parking is available in front of the store and further away from the store itself. Most menu items seem to be breakfast / brunch oriented - think eggs Benny, omelettes, sandwiches + salads etc. - with most items having the option to choose from their 3 waffle-types: basic, mochi waffle, croffle (croissant-waffle). We tried their pizza omelette with a mochi-waffle. It quite self explanatory in regards to the omelette filling, the mochi-waffle (a first for me) I believe was fresh made, was so tough and rubbery once it cooled. Not that it didn't taste great - it was just very chewy to each as a carb alternative in a big breakfast scenario. I wouldn't hesitate to order the mochi-waffle alone as a grab and go option, the goal being it should be consumed asap like a bubble waffle! To complement the savory dish, we also order a Norwegian brown cheese waffle - this was the underdog - it was delicious! A five star in my mind. What sounds kind of unassuming, had all the flavour punches to make it addicting. It's basically a flat, plain waffle, folded in half into a semicircle, dosed with a hefty serving of "brown cheese" - which not sure what it is exactly - but flavor punch!! It tastes like an extra salty shaved frozen block of butter, with a heavy brown sugar / caramel undertone. I highly recommend this. Overall, a slightly further trek for brunch compared to downtown, but worth the try and a return trip for the Norwegian brown cheese waffle!

I'm in love with the brown cheese after I tried the house signature "Norwegian Brown Cheese Waffle". It is a simple dish. Two thin crispy waffles with a thin layer of whipped cream between it, topped with shredded brown cheese and maple syrup. Best to have it immediately to get the crispiness. It will lose the crisp once cooled. The brown cheese is called Brunost and is a caramel colored whey cheese. I had to google it. So it is a Norwegian food and is apparently also popular in Korea. It has a strong cheese taste but not overpowering so. The dish is salty and sweet but it is unlike salted caramel as it has a stronger taste. I guess it can be an acquired taste. My friend tried it as a spread before in Europe and she likened it to Marmite. The version here with the shredded cheese is milder and less salty than Marmite. Give it a try if you are adventurous with food. The flat white I had is also pretty good. A good addition to this part of kingsway for a cafe culture. The menu is all kinds of waffles plus coffee and tea.

So glad I found a relatively new (opened in the summer of 2021) that is not in downtown! Parking is easy (easy street parking, about 1-2 blocks walking). Their name "Canffle" stands for "Can" and "Waffle". What's unique is that all their coffees (hot or cold) can be served in a one sized metal can at your request for no additional charge. It is piping hot initially, so don't drink it right away - it is a great option for takeout or to just get a cool picture/experience. Verry Berry Cream ($6.75): This is also a croffle, but it is sweater and crunchier on the outside (perhaps glazed with some sugar/glaze). I took a bunch of pictures and the whipped cream did not collapse, so it is probably a mixture of fresh cream, and fake (or whatever you call it) cream but it is still very tasty regardless. Not too sweet either. Garnished with fresh berries. Latte ($4.40): beautiful latte art. I like their coffee roasts too, it isn't too acidic or anything. Just a smooth, strong, bold cup of coffee. Sea Salt Cream Iced Coffee ($5.50): Very tasty drink - mix well! It's a must have as it is photogenic, tastes amazing, and is very reasonably priced. Creamy drink while also packing a punch with its caffeine and coffee flavour (I'm a coffee fanatic). Americano ($3.75): I got this in a can, just because I could haha. It was fun to try. Salmon Benny on Mochi Waffle ($15.75): You get to pick the type of waffle you want. The mochi waffle is super cool, and I absolutely LOVED the texture of the mochi waffle. It's not mochi chunks inside, but the WHOLE waffle is chewy. The egg wasn't leaky at all, but that's okay. I really liked the chunky guacamole mix on the waffle, it had chunks of tomatoes, onions and other goodies. Decent portion of smoke salmon on top too. Croffle Club Sandwich ($14.75): Croffle Club Sandwich had a yummy homemade sauce (some sort of sweet mustard?). Also has chicken breast, leaky egg, sweet onion & spinach. The sauce and thinly sliced sweet onions were m favourite part. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience - great staff, very reasonably prices, and everything (food & coffees) were delicious. Bonus points for unique factor (eg. Coffee in a can, mochi waffle) I'd highly recommend this place!

Still sleepy from the Easter Vigil and after celebration but we headed out for first brunch out this year at Canffle. They specialized in waffles especially croffle (croissant waffles) and some pretty cute latte art! The portion is pretty big and flavor is really good. Our pouch egg is so jiggly and the egg yolk just gushes out when your cut it open such satisfaction! We ordered - latte - chai latte - salmon benny with mochi waffle and croffle - easy morning with croffle - chicken basil melt - lotus cream croffle The mochi waffle is soft, chewy and slightly sweet. The croffle is crispy. The lotus cream croffle is a must order! The cute latte art totally made my day. Who doesn't love some artsy cute latte art to start the morning! We will definitely come back for more :)

Canffle is a popular brunch spot serving several waffle brunch menu items including bennies, omelettes, sandos, melts, and desserts... all on waffles! They offer three different waffles for the majority of their entrees, including: Brussels, Croffle, and Mochi (my fave! & it's gluten free too) We tried: Salmon Benny on Mochi Waffle $18.75 2 Egg Droffle $15.75-this is essentially an egg drop sando sandwiched between a croissant waffle 3 Brown Cheese Cream Croffle $4.75 -to die for Latte $5 Matcha Latte $5.75 I remember when Canffle first opened, I was so intrigued by the Brown Cheese on their dessert croffle. Brown cheese is a Norwegian tan-coloured whey cheese with a distinctive caramel flavour. This was my absolute favorite dish out of everything we tried The mochi waffle was also such a nice change from the usual brussels or liege waffles offered around the Lower Mainland. Portion sizes are generous but they do get busy fast (even at 8am on weekends) so I'd recommend going during off hours! The reason for losing a star is the non-attentive service. The cafe got busy fairly quickly, however, we had to ask for water, utensils, and our drinks. The food took a while to come out and all came out quite slowly after one another. Overall, would come back but probably on a weekend.

Bright family friendly brunch spot along kingsway. They even brought my toddler niece her own set plastic cups and played. So nice. Lots of street parking nearby. Come early to get a spot and dine comfortably. We tried 2 different waffle batters, mochi and croffle and both were delicious in its own way. They should look into better ventilation as it gets quite Smokey in there.

An interesting take on Waffles for breakfast~! I saw this place open in the summer and was planning to come here for a visit and finally took the time to do so. I love the openness of the café already, just order and then go take a seat style of cafeteria. I have said this before, I never liked that style of eating, but the ONLY good thing is that I saw a couple of staff go and clean the area once it is done, YAY on the staff for doing such a great job! I am very happy for that!! I ordered a Ben's Pumpkin Soup & Salmon Benny that day. Lets talk about that soup first, because during the whole pandemic, I turned into a lover of soups. And OMG. This pumpkin soup was SPECTACULAR, WOW!! As a person who makes a lot of soup, and love pumpkins as well, this was amazing. Tons of flavour, very thick and it feels like a biggggg, warm hug during the winter. I love it when soup makes me have good comfortable feelings. The Salmon benny was light, flavourful and delicious. So the cool thing about this place is that you can order different types of waffle base. I ordered the mochi waffle, and the bouncy texture mixed with the subtle crispiness of the waffle is WONDERFUL~! I loved how the mochi makes the waffle bouncy and delicious in my mouth. The texture feel is very brand new for me with the waffle crisp. Next time I come to Canffle, I need to order some of their lattes. As their menu is filled with so much warm things for a perfect winter. Will be coming back for sure!!

The lineup for this waffle place was quite long when it first opened, so I decided to wait a couple months before trying it out. The restaurant has both a take-out section, as well as a small, ~7-8 table seating area. We came around 1pm, and there weren't that many full tables - granted, there was a lot of snow that day. However, there was still a steady stream of customers going in and out for the entire time we were there. We ordered an Easy Morning ($14.25), Salmon Benny ($15.75), and a Latte ($4.40). The latte was smooth and pretty standard. Unfortunately, they were out of their croffles that day, so we opted for an original brussels waffle and a mochi waffle to pair alongside our main dishes. The mochi waffle was paired with the easy morning breakfast. I quite enjoyed the mochi waffle on its own, but I thought that it was a bit too chewy alongside the other toppings. I honestly would think that the mochi waffle would instead be a really good dessert option, but not too much as a savoury option. The mochi waffle is also quite filling. The bacon was quite delicious (not too salty), and salad was refreshing. The salmon benny was pretty good -- plenty of smoked salmon as well as avocado bruschetta. The bruschetta had a tart/sour taste, which balanced nicely with the fragrant brussel waffle. I appreciate that the portions were quite generous! I think one main dish paired with a croffle would be enough for 2 people with smaller appetites. Overall, I thought that their breakfast was nothing too special, and their waffles did not impress me too much. I did like the take on the eggs benedict with a waffle bottom though. If I were to visit again, I think I would come for their desserts or croffles.

Very cute little spot. The nice bright signage of Canffle lured us in. So happy to see they are checking vaccine cards at entrance. Keeping all patrons and staff safe is always so reassuring :) We ordered the Cheddar Croffle , Chili Basil Croffle and Chocolate Croffle. Cons: I wish they heated up the Cheddar Croffle, cold cheese and cold waffle wasn't the best. Really wish they had chives or had just melted cheese right before serving. It's odd to serve pre melted cold cheese on cold waffle. Flavours were flat and texture was unappealing. My partner order that one and didn't have much hopes after eating it. Pros: The Chili Basil was really good. Loved the fresh pesto. The texture of the waffle was really nice. Dunno if I lucked out and mine was made more recently (or they heated it up because mine was room temp not cold). It definitely helped with the waffle texture and brought out the lovely buttery and sweet taste of the waffle. My partner definitely regretted not ordering the Chili Basil aswell. As a chocolate fan I liked the plain croffle with the chocolate drizzle. Would have been so nice with a coffee. Next time I hope they aren't sold out of the donut waffles. Really enjoyed this little treat and I think bringing a box to the office or a picnic would be very well received. We will most definitely be going back. Worth noting: There's no explanations anywhere in the waffle shop about Croffles? Technicality what is it? when I ordered the staff wouldn't let me order Chocolate waffle, they said croffle? And of course I want whatever it is they are serving. All other waffle shops I've visited will say Leige or Brussels and explain their own on story. The croffle left me very curious. After eating them and enjoying 2/3 of the croffles I think theyre a croissant waffle hybrid? They were very buttery and the inside looked layered. Long story short VERY YUMMY chilli basil croffle and chocolate drizzle croffle. Highly recommend those! Great price and friendly staff make this a lovely little waffle shop.

This is a small breakfast and lunch place that serves delicious waffles and various breakfast items. There are only a few tables so we had to wait a bit outside but that's all right. The waffles were delicious and my breakfast had a bit of everything and was a good deal. The servers were very nice and my order came quickly. We will be back!

This place been opened for awhile now and skipped my radar. Finally time permitted for me to sit down for a weekday brunch, I seldom have the luxury to sit down to enjoy an early breakfast so it's a treat. Heard some good things so fingers crossed, found street parking by the restaurant. It is located a few businesses down from the Snack shop tofu dessert place along Kingsway. We greeted and seated by one of the waitress, very friendly and thank goodness didn't have to wait. Here were the food I ordered; 1. Iced mocha. It was decent. 2. Seasalt cream iced coffee. Very tasty and well done. 3. Ben's table with croffle. Very nice portion, everything were fresh and the ham were juicy and not dried up like a frisbee like most places. The croffle was fresh, nice crisp outside with a bit of chew in the inside. 4. Egg droffle. The scrambled eggs were perfectly done and went well with the cheese and ham. The croffle was good and the portion was more then I can eat. Overall, the place is pretty small, have about 9-10 tables but quite spacious with a nice high ceiling. However, this place definitely needed some better ventilation cause they have to open the doors for the air to circulate and little pesty flies were roaming around, kind of annoying when trying to eat, not a fan of flies. Came here with a bit of expectations cause of the reviews and all I can say is the service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was good! If you haven't try out this place yet, I would recommend it. I will definitely repeat and hope will another good experience.

We ate here on a Saturday morning, there was plenty of seating when we arrived around 9:30. Service was friendly. The food looked great and tasted pretty good for the most part. However, I suspect the cream or something in the croffles caused us to all get sick. My son had a tummy ache and vomited, I felt really nauseous too. The bennies were good though. Im sure it was just a one off but now we gotta get a car detailed so it ended up becoming an extra costly meal lol.

We came on Sunday late morning, only one other couple was in front of us. We asked the server how long is the waiting time, she estimated 45 minutes, when in reality it was just 20 minutes. I ordered the Ben's Table and my husband ordered the Easy Morning. Portion is generous and quite a bit bigger than picture shown. All the food tastes average, eggs are slightly over cooked, the poached egg whites were bland and rubbery. I particularly like the sautéed mushrooms and croffle. I wish they have salt, pepper, hot sauce and syrup at every table, instead of just one set for the whole restaurant (which is not very covid friendly). Latte was slightly on the weaker side as well. I feel that servers are not very experienced. A server brought a cup of coffee to my husband. When she put the coffee down, she spilled so much on the plate and table. The second time the way she ensured not to spill again is to put both her thumbs on the rim of the cup. Seriously, who does that?

If you're in the area and craving brunch this is the place to go me and my wife love the food here from the decor to the ambiance it's perfect for brunch. We've been to so many brunch places and I can 100% proudly say this is our favorite place. Please give this place a try!!

Came here on a Saturday. We waited like 2 minutes for a table and then you go up to the counter to order. The ventilation in here is not the greatest which is why they keep the door open. We ordered the Pizza Omelette and the Norwegian brown cheese waffle. The pizza omelette did indeed taste like pizza. The egg was super fluffy. We choose to have the mochi waffles. It was very chewy not very crispy. I really liked all the components separate from each other. Together it didn't feel like it went together. The mochi waffle didn't ready to with the egg and the pizza tomato sauce. Wouldn't recommend this one. The Norwegian brown cheese waffle was delicious and different from your usual waffles. It's a really good snack. It's got your sweet and savoury components. The brown cheese has like a Moorish flavour that you get addicted to. The waffle is super crispy and not overly sweet. I would definitely order this again and would recommend it to others for a snack. I saw a lot of people also getting takeout. I would come back to try their croffles but I would get it to takeout as their space is small and I could see there being a wait if it was peak times. Tip: get the Norwegian Brown Cheese Waffle

A cute spot for brunch on Kingsway! The wait was pretty long as there isn't actually a lot of seating inside but we didn't mind. I got the salmon Benny ($15.75) and strawberry and cream croffle ($6.25). I think the croffle was pretty pricey for what it was but it tasted very delicious. I love the texture!

Surprisingly good waffle. Thick and chewy which is perfect for breakfast. Reminds me of a cold brioche. Its not too sweet either. The insulated canned drinks (hot matcha, Americano etc.) is a bit of a novelty. Highly recommended!

Tried the brunch here and eh it was actually good. I personally love it so much especially the croffle. The waffle was okay but with the combination with melts it was awesome. For the mochi based waffle, it was good to make it for the sweet waffle. I really recommend this place for brunch! Cheers! But its just the place is always foggy and cold somehow so i would recommend using your jacket while eating and get ready for your hair to smell bad after coming here.

Great ambiance, cute little cafe but gets super busy. The salted cream iced coffee is a must.

New waffle brunch restaurant opened on August 16th, 2021. We're very excited to visit the cafe today. The cafe offers takeout of variety waffles, coffee and brunch for dine-in. The menu is super cute with illustrations for each dishes. We have ordered two savory breakfast dishes with a mixed berries and banana smoothie. * Ben's table ($21.5): choice of waffles from Brussel, craffle, Mochi waffle. Choice of egg. We have chose craffle and over easy for this dish. It came out amazingly. I don't know you, Ben. But you sure eats a lot!! Huge portion size with everything going on the plate. There are grilled asparagus, bacon, sausage, mixed green salad, beans, two eggs and two big craffles. The craffle is a bit greasy due to it's made by the croissant dough, but the texture is superb. I am sure this plate can feed two persons. * Vege cheese omelette ($10.25): such a steal. The omelette is quite big as well. We have chose mochi waffle for this dish and came out a massive piece. I wouldn't be able to finish everything because there are just so much food. The omelette itself is well executed with fluffy texture and really cheesy filling. The vege omelette mainly has spinach, mushrooms and a little bit of onion. Mochi waffle itself tastes slightly sweet with a nice soft chewy texture. But I feel this kind is a bit denser than other kinds, so it's better to share with someone. Overall, highly recommended place for waffle theme brunch. Craffle surety is their signature item to try. I wouldn't be able to drink coffee this time but please try it and let me know if they are good!

We found this place on tik tok and we are so glad that we found it. Let's me start off by my first impression, it is a small little hole in the wall and it was packed when we walked in so we decided to take it to go. Packed means that the food is good. Everyone that works there was so freaking nice. The strawberries and cream was sooooooooo freshhhhh. Omg the strawberries were so fresh and sweet. The cream was light and just sweeted perfectly. The canffle was so fresh, warm and so delicious omg! It was definitely my favorite thing that i had in my one day in Canada. It was such a great way to finish my day in Vancouver. I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back here.

They just opened recently and were featured in a local food blog so I went and checked out Canffle on Kingsway. It was busy for the breakfast rush on Wednesday morning. They have a fancy coffee machine so if you're just looking for a coffee/waffle breakfast then that can be fixed up fairly quickly. I ordered some items to be made fresh in the kitchen and that took almost 20 minutes to get ready as they were backlogged. I'm hoping it was cause they are new and I'll be back to try again cause my Norwegian Brown Cheese waffle was awesome!
