Amazing Caneles! Absolutely delicious, probably the best ones I had. The owner is also very responsive and nice. Please don’t hesitate to order.

I had the biggest craving for these pastries and I simply couldn’t find them anywhere in Ventura county. I found Gael and made the trek out to Hollywood and I’m thoroughly glad I did! In the photos you can see a cross section of this wonderfully soft and crunchy dessert. The flavor is incredible (perfectly caramelized sugar and vanilla custard crumb) Can’t wait to come back and try the Matcha version

Gaël’s canelés are absolutely delicious! The crispy exterior and soft, tender custard inside are perfection. I’ve tried canelés elsewhere, but none have come close to Gaël’s. They’re a must-have for any occasion! To top it off, Gaël is an absolute delight—so kind and welcoming!

I loved my canelé experience with CanneLA. From the moment I placed my order, to the moment the beautiful pastries were delivered, I was truly blown away by the professionalism and courtesy with which I was treated. I ordered a special delivery for a friend’s birthday, and Gael hand delivered them to her. It was the cherry on top of a perfect experience. The canelé were, of course, delicious beyond compare. If you have perhaps tried a Canelé you are in for a “bon surprise" with Gaël’s creation! Everything about them puts these at the top of my list of French pastry. His recipe nails the crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. He says it requires a very hot oven. You get two distinct rich flavors from the almost caramelized exterior and the soft almost custard like center. Oddly good outside the desert menu. For me with my espresso in the morning and we have paired with wine! Gaël packages them beautifully and they make a great gift. Bon appétit!

As a French woman I’ve tried an abundant amount of Cannelés in my lifetime. Never did I think I would find the best one right here in LA. Extremely tasty and convenient, I’ve ordered numerous times from Canne LA and have never been disappointed. They’re a great success at every event I bring them to and I must say though I’m not gluten free, they are equally as good. I must also mention and give a big thank you to the lovely French man who makes them.

Best canelés I’ve ever had!!! Beautiful packaging and excellent customer service from Gaël. This is a really special business, I can’t wait to order from them again. (Also, get the rose meringues!! Never had anything like them.)

What a lovely small business! The owner and baker is such a charming person. I found this by randomly craving a cannele one day, and searched for any bakeries that had them in the LA area. He takes orders ahead of time, and the canneles come in a box of six. At the time I had ordered the special pumpkin spice one and the normal one. These were very moist and had a great bite to them. The baker was so kind to add in rose water meringues! Incredibly tasty and perfect for afternoon tea. Definitely recommend ordering some ahead of time especially if you have a big party.

So excited to be the first Yelp review for this business! I stumbled upon it because I woke up to a kind Instagram follow from their page, @thecanneLA. This is a dessert I've been eager to try for a few weeks now but didn't know where to look. Truly a happy coincidence that they followed me at the right time! I picked up my order from the address listed on their website, and I got to meet who I presume to be the baker themselves. A very very kind and happy person! The canneles were gorgeously packaged and tasted delicious as well. They're very crunchy on the outside, and soft and creamy on the inside. There's also a caramel-y and slightly bitter taste to them, reminiscent of a burnt basque cheesecake. These were not too sweet of a dessert and didn't leave me feeling like I was overloaded on sugar. Very happy to support this small business and hope to return!

What a treat! These Cannelés were spectacular and Gaël was so helpful with our last minute placement for a very large order on a holiday no less! Look no further if you are looking for a freshly baked, authentic and delicious Cannelé de Bordeaux. These are the best.
