Even though we’re from the area, surprisingly had never been to The Cannery before. Knowing now after coming to happy hour, it is a free for all seating happy hour. We came on a Friday, which now knowing the seating situation, was not the best idea but we were able to snag a table after doing a bit of table stalking.
Once we sat down, the service was quick and efficient. They definitely got their happy hour service down! Drinks and food came out super fast, but we never felt rushed to leave. I wish I remembered her name but our server was very sweet, maybe Jessica?
Happy hour is only on food— 40% off select items. We got the 911 Roll, Popcorn Shrimp Roll, and Gyoza. All really good! The rolls were very fresh and light — didn’t feel too overpowering and heavy with sauce.
I came back with a friend on a Tuesday and were able to grab a table right away. So note to self, avoid Fridays. Fonz was our server and he was the BEST! So friendly, funny, and accommodating when he switched out my drink (even though I didn’t ask him to!). He truly made our experience!
