How to Eat Pizza for Every Meal in Austin | Eater Austin

"Hotel-based breakfast pizza options include farm-egg-and-ham and a brisket pizza, paired with a cold-pressed juice bar for a full morning meal experience in a convenient downtown location." - Erin Russell

Fantastic Dining Experience with Minor Room for Improvement I rated the atmosphere 4 stars, mainly due to the table and chairs, which didn’t quite match the overall high-end feel of the place, and the lack of a view. That said, everything else more than made up for it. The food and service were outstanding. I had the best burger I’ve ever had, and the mac and cheese was simply divine—comfort food at its finest, elevated to a whole new level. The quality of the food was top-notch, truly reflective of the restaurant’s high standards. The menu was both diverse and reasonably priced, offering great value without compromising on flavor or presentation. And, of course, the staff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I’d highly recommend, especially if you’re in the mood for delicious, high-quality food in a classy environment.

Nice restaurant inside of the Hilton in Austin. I went during happy hour and during dinner and both times the service was great. During happy hour I ordered the pizza which was really good. Once again the service was great. The price can run up pretty darn fast if you’re watching sports or having deep conversation. Overall, not a bad place.

Food is good. I had to ask for a menu but I see there service is not the best in the other reviews but are waiter was actually really good once’s he knew we was there.

Great bar and restaurant inside the Hilton Austin. It’s not your typical hotel food. It felt more like a fine restaurant even though it’s just inside the lobby. All of the food looked great but all we had was the sweet potato hummus. What a treat. Full of flavor, unique and delicious veggies and house made flatbread. There are a couple TVs at the bar and a large tv on the adjacent wall. There are seats at the bar, several 2-4 person table’s and a couple large tables big enough to accommodate 12+ people. And their bourbon selection was outstanding. The flights give you the opportunity to try 4 different bourbons focused on Texas, Kentucky and other themes. Treat Cannon + Belle like a restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

Had a great dinner on an overnight here. Server offered me and off the menu steak, it was delicious! The brisket baked beans are also really good!

The only reason this place is still open is that it’s at the bottom of a hotel and they have a captive audience. You assume that at the bottom of a Hilton in downtown Austin, and by the prices on the menu, this would be an excellent restaurant. The only thing worse than the food is the service. I had a reservation at 5:30, and walked through the bar to get to the completely empty host stand and a restaurant that was a ghost town. I should’ve known right then and there to just go to the taco joint next-door. Instead, after about five minutes, I was finally seated. I’m so glad I was able to purchase items from the happy hour menu, because if I had paid full price for anything at this restaurant, I would’ve had major buyers remorse. The Caesar salad was okay. The baked brie was a huge disappointment. Crunchy and overcooked on the outside, and just a blob of a mess on the inside. The crackers served with this mess were plain and dry and we had to ask for anything they had that was a sweet compliment that is usually part of this dish. We also ordered the barbecue chicken pizza that was soggy and had so little chicken that it was just cheese. I secretly told the server that it was my friend‘s birthday and that I wanted to surprise her with a dessert. He told me he would take care of it. So the next thing I knew, he was bringing our check after we waited around for so long that I just gave up. My friend was back anyway and I gave up on the surprise. $117 Plus a tip later, we just got out of there. I won’t be back and I don’t recommend this place. I really wish there were more reviews that honestly reflect the huge disappointment that this restaurant is. I feel ripped off.

I was expecting to get a heavy southern meal when I looked over the menu, but was so delighted by how fresh and delicious everything was!! The selections were fresh and a fun twist on some classic choices. Definitely try the hummus and wedge salad!!!
