Nice restaurant inside of the Hilton in Austin. I went during happy hour and during dinner and both times the service was great. During happy hour I ordered the pizza which was really good. Once again the service was great. The price can run up pretty darn fast if you’re watching sports or having deep conversation. Overall, not a bad place.

Great bar and restaurant inside the Hilton Austin. It’s not your typical hotel food. It felt more like a fine restaurant even though it’s just inside the lobby. All of the food looked great but all we had was the sweet potato hummus. What a treat. Full of flavor, unique and delicious veggies and house made flatbread. There are a couple TVs at the bar and a large tv on the adjacent wall. There are seats at the bar, several 2-4 person table’s and a couple large tables big enough to accommodate 12+ people. And their bourbon selection was outstanding. The flights give you the opportunity to try 4 different bourbons focused on Texas, Kentucky and other themes. Treat Cannon + Belle like a restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

Moscow mule was ok. Didn't serve it in the appropriate copper cup. Looked just like my husband's margaritas which came with no salt on rim. 1st night here.... we hope it gets better.

Had a great dinner on an overnight here. Server offered me and off the menu steak, it was delicious! The brisket baked beans are also really good!

I visited the establishment on 7/16 with some coworkers for dinner. The staff was very nice when we arrived, and we were sat immediately. I ordered a spicy margarita and the belle burger med with house chips. The margarita was great, The amount of spice was just enough. The burger, on the other hand, looked great but left me very disappointed. Although, I ordered it med, but it came to me well done. The pickles that we were given were very old and dried out. Both mine and my coworkers meals were the same. The server didn't check with us about our meals until 30 mins after dropping them off and that was only to give us our checks.

We showed up for dinner on New Year's Eve without a reservation. I know. We expected a wait. The host was pleasant and found us a lovely table anyway. Our waitress was responsive and cheerful through the entire meal. We ordered a couple of drinks which were delicious. We started with the Sweet Potato Hummus and could have stopped there. It was so good! And the portion was huge. My husband and I both ordered the Quinoa bowl, and while he found it a bit too spicy for his taste, I thought is had just the right heat. The pecans in the quinoa were a great addition. He adjusted the heat by adding in some of the sweet potato Hummus. I thought the dish was perfect as is. The staff, including the Chef, were very pleasant and wished us a safe and happy night. We will definitely be back.

This is inside the Hilton hotel in downtown Austin. Wonderful cocktails, especially their old fashioned! I highly recommend the brisket mac n cheese. Jim was our bartender, he provided excellent service with a very pleasant demeanor. My boyfriend and I come here sometimes for date night cause we love the food/drinks so much.

Very good vibe and EVERY dish is delectable. I had the scallops one night and Filet on another. My friend had the best tasting Pork Belly I've ever tasted. They also had Mocktails which was really helpful since I was fasting...and I met the love of my life in an alternate world here also 😉

Ordered room service while staying at the Hilton. I got a charcuterie board and few sides. The charcuterie board was great and the corn side was honestly amazing. And arrived to my room pretty quickly!

Better late than never because Cannon & Belle deserves the love! My partner and I had an unforgettable date night here back around Christmas, and even though I'm just now posting, we still talk about the food almost daily. Since we were the only ones dining in on a quiet Thursday night, we were treated like family--warm service, cozy vibes, and plates that left us both full yet somehow still longing for more. I don't know what else to say other than SAVORY. FLAVOR. Every bite was a dream. Can't wait to come back and relive it all over again! Hats off to the chef!

3.5 stars seems awe-fully low. I sat at the burbon bar to eat While I did try a bourbon. For fun I'm not a fan. It's a loud place yet easy enough to get lost in my own thoughts The bartenders were instantaneously there to take orders and ask questions of. While i did not come to drink. I did get great service. I had the Red Drum gulf fish. It was a mild large grain halibut/cod looking fish that was more soft than firm. It had very slight oily texture that I appreciated as halibut and cod can become dry easily. It was cooked perfectly pan fried I think with the skin on. I really appreciate a in fried skin on fillet. The skin flavors added tremendously to each bite. Don't neglect the skin. The garish was a tiny cubed sausage that did not steal from the flavor. It was a great compliment. I had a coleslaw salad. That description does injustice It was a greens salad. With marinated apricots Slices of almond? Nuts, cucumber? And minimal if any cabbage. I took a picture hoping to recreate at home. I'd come again here on date night for sure. My wife would feel treated and special. Personally I like more engaging banter from the servers. But it was loud and busy. If you need hearing aids like me. You might have a herd time in conversation due to the ambiance features ... Cavernous ceiling.... Try it.

What a journey getting to this places! For anyone interested it's inside of the Hilton Hotel. They have valet and the parking garage is near by. While they do have a nice size dining area we were made to sit in the bar area due to short staff. The ambience is nice and the service was A+ but the pricing is absurd! Half rotisserie chicken was $20+ and the skin wasn't as crispy as I like. It was juicy and full of flavor. I didn't care for the baked beans, they were a bit too sweet for me. I also didn't care for the Mac n cheese, the queso they use is not my taste. I liked the side of pickled okra and the potato salad. Overall I would let someone treat me to dinner but I doubt I would come back on my own. Too pricey for regular bbq style cuisine.

The Hilton Austin downtown is my hotel of choice when I'm in the city on business, and I enjoy the daily food and beverage credit that being a Hilton Diamond member affords me. I usually end up spending it at Cannon + Belle, the hotel restaurant and bar. Located in the lobby, the restaurant is small but lively. I was here during the annual SXSW festival, and there was (LOUD) live music in the lobby which made it difficult to talk. The bar was busy but service was fast (they have bar top stools as well as a few tables). I've never eaten food here, so this review is for the bar only. Be sure to ask about Happy Hour specials. The menu is better than you'd expect for a hotel bar, and the drinks are strong and good. They are, of course, overpriced (think $13 for tiny margaritas and $16-$18 for equally little specialty cocktails). It's easy to do room charges as well, and the staff is pleasant and efficient. I wouldn't come here if I wasn't staying as a guest at the hotel, though, but it's a pretty decent hotel bar!

New menu apparently and happy to say everything was great! I need to try their smoked old fashioned!

We DON'T recommend. Hilton guests, pay heed! Austin Taco Project is in the same building - and they are delicious! Cannon and Belle has pizza which is...terrible. We tried it twice hoping the first time was a "mistake", but no. Service was slow and the servers either forgot our orders or messed them up. This place needs management! Cocktails were watery and filled with ice. Trust us, go to the ATP which is just down the escalator!

Staying here for work. Needed a quick bite to eat so went down for dinner. Nice atmosphere, but can be pretty crowded. Have a good selection of beer, wine, and bourbon. Food and drink can be a little pricey, but is better then most hotel restaurants. Just had a pork belly sandwich with a side salad. Food was very good. Waiter was super friendly and overall I had a good experience.

Disappointed from start to finish We visited this restaurant inside the Hilton and were let down right from the start. The host had zero expression--no smile, no welcome, just a cold "follow me." The rest of the staff didn't seem any more enthusiastic, which really killed the vibe despite the place having a lovely aesthetic. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and honestly, it was one of the worst I've ever had. It came out quickly (I'll give them that), but it was paper-thin--basically just sauce with a sprinkle of cheese on a crust that felt like a cracker. No doughy base, no flavor, and the sauce tasted like cheap canned tomato paste. The drinks were just okay. I was hoping maybe it was just an off day, but after reading other reviews, it looks like this is a pattern. This place definitely needs to step it up--especially being inside a Hilton. It doesn't reflect well on the brand at all. If you're hungry, skip this place. Walk to Moonshine around the corner for top-notch food, service, and atmosphere. Or try Taco Project if they're open. You'll have a much better experience at either.

Awesome authentic pepperoni pizza. I wish reviewers would be educated enough about food before giving a bad review of the pizza for not having enough cheese and a thin crust. If you know anything authentic pizza isn't Domino's. Hotels employ chefs. They don't make fast food quality food. Its about fresh simple fewer ingredients. Less gluttony more quality. Hilton always excels with its cuisine.

The menu selections are fantastic and the food... Amazing! Pricing was fair. Service was also great.

This place is located by the lobby of the Hilton hotel. We ordered the brisket queso Mac and the fungi pizza. The pizza was good, no wow factor but an average pizza. The queso on the other hand was not appealing at all, it tastes like hamburger helper, so I highly advise to skip it. I will be trying the place and trying different items on there.

We had a group of 10 for a dinner on a business trip. The service was excellent and the food was prompt. We started with several appetizers. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic and the entire team enjoyed them. The charcuterie board was easy to share and the sweet potato hummus was also a win. I enjoyed an Autumn Old Fashioned. It was good, but at home we have one of the top Bourbon bars in the country and they have this place beat. For my second drink, I had the EH Taylor. It was great. For dinner I ordered the filet. It came out cooked perfectly, I did not care for the potatoes but we have also had heavy appetizers before the main courses came out. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and ability to accommodate our large group made this a win and a place I will recommend to others.

We came here during NYE dinner, so the service wasn't top notched mainly because every item took 30 mins to arrive. We had to flag down the sever every single time. I'm guessing they were short staffed. But the ribeye was really delicious and the seats were comfortable! The classic cocktails were decent: Manhattan, Dirty Martini, & Old Fashioned. The cheese charcuterie board was very minimal. I did like the restaurant's ambiance. Chic and cozy. The flooring was a bit slippery for my kitten heels, and the restrooms are a bit far away.

Better than the 3.5 star it currently has. Certainly no better than 4.0 stars, but 3.5 understates it a bit -- for me, that's right on thedge of "don't go." And this is not a "don't go" place -- it's a not bad for a hotel main restaurant near a convention center kind of place. If you're in town alone, as I was, and wanted to grab a drink from the bar and then a simple dinner this fits the bill. I had the caeser salad (overdressed, but aren't they all?) and the pepperoni pizza. Both were good, the pizza bordered on very good. Again, if you're in town with a group I'm pretty sure you can find better places to go. But if you're a guest at the hotel this place is good enough to avoid walking out in the Austin heat to go elsewhere.

This quaint little restaurant is inside the Hilton, so the menu is short and the prices steep, but that is on par with what you will find in any hotel based establishment. The service was great, the employee's are very friendly and attentive, the food though, not so much. The chicken looked juicy, but ended up being dry, the vegetables were actually burnt, half of my carrot still had some orange to it but the other half was charcoal black. The cake was ok, a bit on the hard side when I expected fluffy, it was a typical fridge cake. Looked great though, just not flavorful. I expected more out of my $50 meal. Can't say I'll return.

Hubby & I dined here last week and were not impressed. Perhaps it was just an off night? The food was decent but odd. The deviled egg thing - skip it. I'm pretty sure it made us sick but likely just a mental thing due to presentation. My husband loved the mushroom meatloaf but beware as it made his breath horrendous afterwards! All the gum in the world couldn't help! Took 24 hours to go away. Four hours later we just felt yucky. The service was mediocre. Our server was very kind and nice but we had to wait forever for things and they were very much not busy for 6pm on a Wednesday evening. Also, the tables are sooooo uncomfortable to sit at. The way the bases just slope make it impossible to sit comfortably at. In general, we will not be back again.

I don't know that I would have normally chosen this place but on 12/30 we were [last minute] looking for NYE dinner reservations for 7. It was a typical hotel restaurant vibe but it was quiet enough to be able to have conversations with everyone in our party. Service was quick though, at the end, she didn't know how to split the ticket among the couples which was frustrating but whatever. The charcuterie board was good but definitely way overpriced for what you get. The filet and potatoes were good but maybe a bit underseasoned. The winners of the night for me were the Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned and the Peach Crumble. Soooo good. I highly recommend both of those if they're available.

It's a hotel lobby restaurant. The charcuterie tray was just oddly spicy and feety, if you know what I mean. The romaine in the Caesar salad was BITTER with an anchovy heavy dressing. The Brisket Mac and Cheese was tasty though. Service was just fine and the ambiance was, well, hotel lobby. People watching on a Friday night was outstanding.

Decent place for late night food if you are staying at the Hilton Austin hotel. There aren't many places to eat late so keep this place in mind. Decent Brussels sprouts with bacon!

We visited a couple of times during our stay in Austin. The food seemed fresh and tasted pretty good - I'm not totally sure it justified the price, however. Service was okay. The charcuterie board was definitely our favorite.

I don't know why I paid $18 for an overly sour/sweet cocktail that was not supposed to be sour or sweet ... but I did and I regret it. I didn't finish this drink because my teeth hurt so bad which has never happened to me ever. Also my dehydrated orange in my drink looked suspiciously moldy. Service was poor. They don't even bring you water. The food was ridiculously overpriced so I did not order anything. $14 for marcona almonds?? I'm from Spain and I am aware of the upcharge in the US...but really? The decor is nice at least and it is convenient being in the lobby of the hotel I was at.

The food is wonderful ... simple and yummy, great Sweet Patotoes Hummes with the best flat bread, Red Fish and Bluebberries Crumble Dessert with vanilla Ice cream ... we'll be back

Ate dinner here last night while staying at the Hilton on vacation. We had to sit outside of the restaurant because they were so busy (and it was a Monday night)- definitely recommend making a reservation. The waitress was so friendly! We started with the chips and dip, which were great. My husband and I split the roasted chicken and steak. Everything was so tasty. The kitchen was totally happy to modify their pepperoni pizza to be half cheese for the kids we had with us. Really great! They have a great cocktail menu as well. Just a note, the menu listed on their website right now doesn't match what they are serving.

In town for a conference and staying at the Hilton...needed a place to do my fantasy draft and Cannon and Belle was perfect. Secured a corner spot on the bar, grabbed a margarita and hung out for 2 hours. I got the brisket Mac and cheese and the cornbread to go and both were awesome! The pizzas looked good too. They have a bourbon bar which seemed to be pretty popular as well!

On a day to pick up our SXSW badges at the Austin Convention Center food was on our mind since it was lunchtime. Since we were located next to the Hilton Austin I remembered reading Cannon + Belle was very good. So we walked inside and had no problem getting a table. It was near 11:00 AM and our waitress notified us breakfast was ending and gave us two menus. I did not feel like eating eggs so I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich and my wife got the Brisket Pizza from the breakfast menu. The place is nice and uses gold ware. It's bit of fanciness to match elegant drink ware. I reminded me of my grandmother's with her luxury dinnerware. Soon our food arrived and my chicken sandwich came with creole potato chips. It was a bit spicy, but my sandwich was very good and the chicken was fresh, soft and juicy. I enjoyed the sandwich very much. I looked over to my wife's huge pizza where it was covered with diced bbq and scrambled eggs in the center. I tried it of course and the bbq had a smoked taste, and the eggs were farm fresh. I pretty much ate her eggs and some of the pizza crust which was very crunchy. Our server was excellent and kept our drinks full. This place definitely meet and exceeded my expectations.

Food was excellent. Everything we had was delicious I would definitely come back again to eat here. The service was a bit slow but they were super packed and very nice about it. No reservations but they accommodated us just fine as we adjusted our party number several times.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before our tour that depArted right next door at the Austin Visitor Center. Located in the Hilton lobby. They have a full breakfast buffet at $22 per person. We didn't have a lot of time so we chose to order off the menu. Good selection and good prices. Mostly business attire as it was people staying at the hotel. But you can come as casual as you wanted. It literally is in the lobby of the hotel. One block from visitor center. Super fast service so go even if you are in a hurry!! I got Just a side of pancakes for under five dollars, it was the perfect size and the butter is mixed in with cinnamon. Yum oh

Server seemed irritated when taking our order. 3 of us. Maybe seven other people in the bar. Didn't stop by our table very often to ask if we wanted another cocktail. While my two friends are eating, server came by and asked a few times. Can I take that for you while they were actively eating. Not sure if she was trying to get out of there or what. I ordered the wings to go. I got seven wings for $18. Seven wings for $18. Not big wings. But small mediocre wings. Sat at the bar to have a drink because the server was so sour. Same attitude there as well. Don't waste your time here. There's so many other places to go.

I came here for my sister's graduation. We had reservations made ahead of time which made it a lot easier. The staff is so friendly and attentive. We had a large table dedicated for our party. We had the option of doing a buffet brunch or just ordering meals from the menu. It's a lot of food, and so tasteful. I think 1 person of our party of 7-8 people totally was able to finish all their food haha. We definitely took our leftovers to-go. This restaurant is located inside the Hilton hotel. Super nice!!

Ugh. Below mediocre food. We ordered what seemed to sound amazing sun choke artichoke hummus. Lacked flavor ... but the pita bread was yummy and doughy. The charcuterie board had boring cheeses and fatty salamis. We ordered the short rib pizza, too sweet and not enough meat. They had decent wine but you also pay for the markup and they didn't have decent wine glasses. The bartender was dry and seemed like he didn't want to be there. I would definitely recommend venturing out of the hotel for food and wine.

This was definitely the worst $44 meal I've ever had. The presentation was awful, it was like I was on an episode of "Nailed It - Dinner Menu". The steak was cooked to the right internal temperature but tasted like a pork chop. The potatoes were greasy and runny, yet still lumpy.

I've hit this place a few times en route to events at the hotel. The pizzas are very good. The meatball pizza has fantastic, seasoned, tangy meat. The crab cakes are very good, tasty but lacked a little zing in the sauce. But, perhaps most importantly, the drinks are outstanding lol. On my last venture there, I was suffering from a stuffy head and relied on the bourbon bar magicians to doctor me up. The drink was citrusy, rich and healing. Thanks Doc! See you next time!

Came here for a Friday dinner and was excited to finally try a nice restaurant inside of in our favorite hotels in town. The seating right off the bay was a little less "nice" than we had imagined but we didn't let that bother us. The problem came when we received the menu and it was much smaller than advertised online as well as more expensive. When we asked the server he was fully aware, but seems as though they had made no initiative to fix the issue. The plus side at this place is your inside of a nice hotel like Hilton, but other than no upside. We ended up leaving without eating and went to Velvet Taco which never disappoints.

Stayed at the Hilton Austin for work and ate dinner here late one night with coworkers. The food was very good. My #1 item was the roasted bone marrow - potentially the best I've ever had, but needed more bread. I will 100% be getting it again next time I'm in town. The chefs board had so many different options on it and delicious. My NY Strip was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the seasonal veggies (squash and zucchini) and the mashed potatoes were lack luster. A few of us tried cocktails and no one was a big fan of them, so I'd steer clear of those and go with wine instead! Service was also just okay, but again it was late and we were one of the only tables in the back so that could've contributed to it.

I've been to many Hilton's all around and the food is hit or miss, however you have got to eat here. I started with the most scrumptious crab cakes that had many pieces of lump crab. Follow that by pan roasted chicken on top of risotto and roasted carrots. You have a wonderful meal!! I will say that the chicken was a bit gamie for me but it paired well with the corn, cheese risotto and roasted carrots. I would definitely come back and try another entree on the menu.

This is one of the restaurants in the lobby of the Hilton Austin, where I recently stayed for a work conference. It's a nice restaurant with some cool decor (I loved the deer wallpaper on the booths). I ate here for breakfast one morning and found it to just be OK. You can either order off the menu or do the buffet. The options on the menu were kind of weird - I had trouble just finding a basic breakfast dish that I really wanted. So I chose the $22 buffet. I had a made-to-order omelet that was a bit underwhelming to be honest, some fruit and a little pastry, plus coffee. My waiter had pity on me and charged me for the continental buffet (which I didn't even see listed) since I didn't really eat very much. That was something more like $16. In all, I'd say the breakfast was OK but certainly not much I'd write home about. I stopped in again one evening with two friends for a drink, and again I found it confusing. The hostess didn't really give us much direction. She kind of said, you can sit over here, or over there, or over there. Then the people behind the counter actually gave us menus but only gave us two, despite the fact that there were three of us and we were the only ones sitting there. And then the service was disjointed. It was really average. I also was a bit perturbed when we asked if we could take our drinks down to the taco restaurant that is also in the hotel (we found out some of our friends were there) and were told very bluntly that we could not. If you are staying in this hotel, I might recommend the taco bar or something nearby as a better and probably cheaper option.

Breakfast Review: ate here on a Thursday morning before leaving for the airport. It's located in the lobby of the Austin Hilton. Just a few other people there do not busy at all. They offer a buffet or a menu. I had the omelette and you can choose up to three items to have in it. Comes with a large side of potatoes and choice of toast. It's an open kitchen so you can see and smell everything being made. The bacon had a real nice deep Smokey flavor to it .

Staying here at the Hilton Austin Cannon + Belle is definitely very convenient for dinner or lunch when traveling to Austin. The food was very good but somewhat pricey. The service was warm and friendly. The ambiance was warm and boisterous. Probably not the best place for a quiet intimate dinner. Enjoy!

The service was incredible and the ambiance was nice. The food was...fine. The appetizer flatbread and cheesecake for dessert were definitely the highlights. The entrees were ok, but I wouldn't go back for them. We had the filet and pork belly. Overall, it was a nice dinner before a night out.

I absolutely loved the food here ! of course the restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel , and just FYI you'll have to pay for parking every day that you're here , which is about twenty five to forty dollars . when we got to the restaurant I believe it opens at five o'clock to ten o'clock or eleven , and everybody was really nice . because of Covid you must have your mask when you arrive , however when you sit down you can take your mask off . we got to sit actually anywhere around the vicinity of the restaurant , so we sat further away from The inside seating and sat a little bit across from the restaurant. The waitress was really attentive, she informed us of different things on the menu, please see my pictures of the menu. I really enjoyed the tomato soup, this is not your regular Campbell's tomato soup, it was so creamy I love the croutons that was added, it was definitely very savory and sweet. I also enjoyed the apple cider wings, they were cooked to perfection, the meat was falling off the bone. I also enjoyed that they had hot tea and gave you a little bit of honey with it, and the honey is like a new jar That you can take home. Overall I would deathly come back here to try some more food, they also do to go and they will deliver to your room if you stay in the hotel.

Staff was looking tired and their face showed it. Food was good. Ordered the burger and a club sandwich. As soon as I checked in yelp offers free appetizer. Asked waitress and she came back manager said that expired. Service was very slow i believe they are understaffed. Had breakfast next morning. Everything was good staff still looked tired and unhappy.

Leanne our bartender TOTALLY made our experience here. The five stars are for her. We had others wait on us throughout our stay at the Hilton and she was the best. So welcoming, so knowledgeable and totally on top of her stuff. We went to Cannon and Belle our first day after a long morning of traveling and she welcomed us with a smile and list of places in Austin to check out. She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. They have great cocktails. The food was good. The smoked corn chowder was awesome and the BBQ pizza was delicious. This was a easy place to grab a drink and catch up without having to venture out of the hotel when we didn't feel like going very far. The staff was friendly (Leanne was definitely our fav). I would highly recommend coming here to those staying at the hilton and to those looking for a drink downtown.

Made reservations and came for the NYE party prix fixe menu of a 4oz lobster tail and a 4oz filet for $69. Received a 4oz filet and two shrimp.. Had to ask for the manager to adjust the price as their 8oz filet was only $56.. He knocked $30 off..Service was good. Kitchen slowwww. Won't be back

"Hark, the cannons roar!" Very good breakfast. They have a buffet option or a la carte. I was pressed for time but went with a la carte, the Austin breakfast I think.... two eggs, thick bacon, potatoe wedges with veges, and gluten free toast. All very well cooked, and their GF bread surprised me. It was like a dark wheat. It might be pricey, but it's also way tasty.

5 stars for an excellent staff! Genuinely friendly and focused on great service. We went here not once but twice while we stayed at the Hilton in Austin. For dinner, I highly recommend their handmade pizza (we tried pepperoni) and their salmon entree. Scrumptious! We tried a few of their desserts and I'd rate them in the following order - chocolate cake (decadent!!!) , bourbon bread pudding (served with ice cream!) and their cheese cake (served with fresh peach slices). Great ambiance and a lovely bar as well. I didn't try any alcoholic beverages but they make a mean virgin mojito!

Chose Cannon & Belle because it was in the hotel where we are staying. So glad I did. I ordered the Belle Burger It was delicious!

Stopped here for brunch our first day in Austin. It's inside the Hilton Hotel downtown. They offer a brunch buffet, but after walking by it (nothing special) we decided to order off the menu. I ordered the Crab Cake Benny. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. The service was a bit lacking as well. They weren't busy, but it was very slow. She even filled our coffee cups with room termp coffee and we had to ask for fresh. We then waited 10-15 minutes to get our check. For me it was "meh". For the price and location we just expected better.
