Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

I stayed at this same hotel chain when I was in San Francisco, and honestly, the experience was very different. In San Francisco, the rooms were dusty and dirty, and I felt like what I paid didn’t match what I received at all. However, at the Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown in Arizona, the experience was completely different. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was kind and empathetic. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained. There are several common areas where you can relax, have a drink, or just enjoy the atmosphere. The pool, bar, and restaurant are beautifully designed and very inviting. The room I got was spacious, modern, comfortable, and very clean. This time, I really felt like what I paid was worth it. That’s why I think this place truly deserves a 5-star rating. My only suggestion is to please train the café staff on how to make a proper cappuccino. I paid $7 and what I got was basically a latte, with no foam or real cappuccino flavor. It’s a small detail, but it makes a difference.

I had a very pleasant stay here. My room was nice, clean, and well kept. I got a towel and sheet refresh daily. Parking was around $40 per night. Parking is Valet Only but with unlimited in/out privileges. Oddly though, the downstairs bartender changed the prices when he wanted to I guess? One day my Margarita was $15.13. The next day around the same time it was $17.30. Made the same way, same tequila but my glass was less full than the day prior. I never went back for another.

This was the best hotel stay I have ever had! The attention to detail, personalization, and wonderful hotel staff made it an unforgettable experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it special for the both of us. They gave us a sweet treat and drink to celebrate our anniversary, they have no idea how much this meant to us. And just how much it meant to us plus made us smile. The rooms, hotel, and pool were all beautiful and clean! The young lady at the front desk deserves a raise! I have already booked my next stay and cannot wait to go back!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown. We picked it for its prime downtown location, and with everything within walking distance, it made for the perfect chill weekend escape from the kiddos. We chose a local staycation to celebrate our 14th anniversary, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, and the room upgrade with a beautiful view was a great surprise. The thoughtful acknowledgment of our anniversary was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this spot!

We found valet parking ($39) too pricy so we parked at the Brickyard Parking Garage, which was one block away and cost only $16 for 24 hrs!! The garage right next to the valet charged daily max of $20 and reset at 4am, which would be $40 for one night. The room was clean and modern. However, I expected better service for this hotel line... the staff was chatting and made us wait at the front desk and was not very friendly during check in.

Outstanding hotel right in the middle of downtown close to other restaurants. Rooms are extremely comfortable. Very good. Comfortable bed. This is a very clean hotel with some very good bars. Well recommended.

Located on grounds surrounded by ASU campus. Very convenient to many restaurants and almost anything you need. Rooftop bar "alibi" has excellent drinks, apps, and atmosphere. Best views in Tempe!

I booked a resort pass for a pool day with my daughter and a friend. Cole at valet was so kind and helpful! I wish I could remember the woman at the front desk that helped us because she was also awesome and helped me out because I didn’t even realize I booked the wrong dates but she was able to help me fix things. The property was beautiful, the pool service was excellent, food was great. Would absolutely do it again!
