Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

Top-Notch Stay for a Work Trip! I stayed at the Canopy by Hilton while in town for an in-person training, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment I checked in, the customer service was exceptional. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to make my stay a great one. I was blown away by my room—it was huge! After a long day of training, it was wonderful to come back to such a modern, impeccably clean space. It had all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The absolute highlight for me was the rooftop bar. The atmosphere is awesome, with incredible views of the city. It was the perfect spot to unwind after my sessions. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. If you're traveling to Tempe, especially for work, I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back!

This hotel has a great location. You will be in walking distance to the University, the Stadium, Downtown, and most of the great restaurants in Tempe. The Alibi Rooftop Lounge offers great food with an amazing view. The hamburger was delicious 😋. Staff is awesome and they ensure you are always taken care of. I was very happy with my stay. Don't forget to visit the gym. Great place to start the day.

UPDATE: stayed here for the third time and the staff is super nice. I had a small issue with my room and Elizabeth was so nice and helpful and was able to help me out through it. Would love to come back again 😊 The staff is really nice. They always checked in with me everyday in case I needed to have room service because I left my tag of resting. The location is great if you want to bar crawl later. I haven't tried the food because it was not part of my stay but the lobby looked clean and inviting. Didn't get to visit the pool or gym area.

WONDERFUL STAY AND STAFF!!!! They really tell the truth when they say the people make the company. Everyone from the front desk to the bar and restaurant has been phenomenal and super nice and hospitality is amazing. Here for a business trip and I am very impressed on this hotel. Had to ask the front desk a quick question. Person in front of me was being very rude to the sweet front desk lady. Didn’t catch her name, but she remained very professional and kind to the unkind guest. She continued to apologize to the guest for the their frustration. I had to stick up for her, nobody should be talked down like that! Just wanted to give her a shout out!! She was very kind and deserves a raise. I work in customer service so I know exactly how it feels to deal with unkind people. Thank you for making my stay in PHX SO AMAZING!!!🤩

Parking is a nightmare. The elevators in the garage & half the elevators in the hotel don't work, while there's human & dog feces in the stairwells. Valet parking is the only option to get luggage in & out of your car without trudging up & down flights of stairs, but it's somehow $40/day 🙄. But once you get inside, the carpets in the hallway bunch up when luggage rolls on them, making it more difficult to get to your room than it ought to be. But at least the bags can roll around your room easily, since the rooms themselves don't have carpet. Unfortunately the rooms are dimly lit, with varying levels throughout, none of which are at normal brightness levels. On top of that, drinks are insultingly priced. Canned beer? $14. But hey, they have a pool. All around, it's hard to have a good first impression of the place, and the establishment struggles to catch up thereafter, regardless of the best efforts of the staff.

Fabulous stay at The Canopy by Hilton in Tempe! 🤩 This hotel is chic, modern, classy, and on trend and perfectly located adjacent to the ASU campus. The rooftop bar and restaurant is gorgeous, refreshing, and delicious with abundant misters to quench the desert heat and panoramic views of Tempe, AZ. The hotel is beautifully designed with the modern traveler in mind and everything is just steps away or right at your fingertips. Would definitely return for another stay! 😍

I had a very pleasant stay here. My room was nice, clean, and well kept. I got a towel and sheet refresh daily. Parking was around $40 per night. Parking is Valet Only but with unlimited in/out privileges. Oddly though, the downstairs bartender changed the prices when he wanted to I guess? One day my Margarita was $15.13. The next day around the same time it was $17.30. Made the same way, same tequila but my glass was less full than the day prior. I never went back for another.

This was the best hotel stay I have ever had! The attention to detail, personalization, and wonderful hotel staff made it an unforgettable experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it special for the both of us. They gave us a sweet treat and drink to celebrate our anniversary, they have no idea how much this meant to us. And just how much it meant to us plus made us smile. The rooms, hotel, and pool were all beautiful and clean! The young lady at the front desk deserves a raise! I have already booked my next stay and cannot wait to go back!
