Bro, this is literally my favorite bar I've ever been too. Such an amazing atmosphere....super cool decor, crazy comfy booths. Just feels great to be there. Can I move in?😅 Super friendly and helpful bar tender🤙👏🏻

Wandered in on a whim, gent behind the bar asked for ID. And then proceed to serve me the best damn pickle vodka I've ever had. It's house made. They also do fruit infusions. No food in house, but you're welcome to bring your own. If you're looking for a tasty and unique drink, with epic service(and a great taste in house music) come on in!

We came here in the afternoon and did not attend during any events. It was nearly empty when we came and still light outside. We liked it here! We were enticed by the $3 beer signs and obviously they were cans, but it was still a decent place to stop. Based off other reviews I probably wouldn't come later at night or during an event.

I'll start by saying Stephanie is the bomb. Such an excellent bartender. Knows exactly how to keep a smile on your face and take care of you in a very timely fashion. Drinks are good. Depending on which night of the week you go it's a different crowd/ vibe . The one security guy that's always there is super kind too. If I can edit later I'll put his name.

The two working the bar tonight where absolutely wonderful!!! My sister and I had a great time.

Vibing place with a cute interior. They have two pool tables in the back for anyone interested. The music got louder as the night went on and the lights were dimmed. There were plenty of TVs airing sports games. Overall, the place would be chill to sit and drink and listen to loud music, but I would not recommend it as a place for good late night conversations unless you have outstanding vocal chords.

Cool date spot - drinks are pretty cheap in general, and there's usually plenty of seating!

Love the atmosphere. It is spaced out perfectly for COVID. They have seating outside on the sidewalk as well. The lights and decor were beautiful. They had many TVs to watch the games. The bartenders were wonderful. Drinks are a bit pricey but we’re great! Will be coming back especially once things get back to normal.

Came here on a Tuesday evening for what was more-or-less a private event. Shout-out to the one bartender (Ryan) who held down the fort! I was impressed. The cocktails were quite boozy, and there's a decent variety of drinks overall. It's a long cute space with booths and bar seating, as well as pool and shuffleboard tables in the back. Perfect for happy hour.

Great for groups and casual drinks! Came here for a Vanderpump Rules watch party. They have an open concept style with unique walls and tons of ceiling lights, its a very cool vibe that almost feels outdoors. They accommodated around 30 of us playing the finale on al the TVs. I am sure the bartenders were not a fan of the show, but they were good sports making Pumptini's and letting us be loud. Plenty of street parking and cocktails were around $10 which seems very fair. If you come here to watch the game or just meet up with friends and have a couple of drinks, I don't think that you can go wrong. Thank you for the fun night! Definitely plan on coming back. Seeking to do a little post dinner bar-hopping as part of my friend's bachelorette, we made our way down Broadway and right into Canopy. SPACE: Canopy has a killer atmosphere. I love all the string lights and the neon sign towards the back of the space. Everything just exudes all the vibes we were looking for. SIPS: At this point in the evening, we had all pretty much settled on vodka sodas with lemon and lime. Simple and just what we needed to avoid the potential for hangovers the next day. Haha! They do offer up a variety of specialty cocktails and have a rather extensive draft beer menu available. SERVICE: The bartenders were super friendly and handled the busy night with ease! They checked back with us and made sure our glasses were never empty. While my visit to Canopy was a little while ago and during a bachelorette bar crawl, I'd love to go back and check out more of their cocktail menu again! Cheers Denver!

IF YOU ARE A WOMAN AND WANT TO BE SAFE DO NOT GO HERE. My friends and I were physically assaulted by a bouncer. He shoved girls with both hands full force hoping to push them to the ground and laughed while he did it. He was not a small man which is an incredibly scary situation for any woman. He did this for no reason whatsoever, we were just waiting to get a drink at the bar and never gave a reason for his behavior to us or anyone else. Everyone in the bar saw this happen and was completely disgusted. Later in the night we took a photo of him to have photo evidence of who hurt us and he grabbed the phone out of my friends hand and threw onto the concrete so hard that he cracked the front and back of the phone. If you are a manager of this bar and continue to employ this person and allow this behavior you are absolutely disgusting. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAR!

Fun cocktail bar with tons of space and pool tables! Great choice of cocktails but overall service is lacking, specifically engaged bar tenders. I'll come back. Smells great too

This place has a horrible style and entire vibe. My friend and I were just looking for a chill place to grab a drink since karaoke ended at 1 where we were prior. There's. Huge security guard out front, and after checking out which bars looked nice we proceeded to go to ... canopy. This place is a joke. Worst bar I've experienced since I've been here living 5 months, visiting for over a year. This bar has a wanna be posh, LA vibe. The bartender in the photo sucked. She seemed irritated that we even came in. Before we walk in, my friend ASKED if they're still allowing customers only to eventually get rushed out of the door. The security guard said yes, only to less than 10 minutes later asks us to gulp our full pints of beer because they're "closing". It was 1:20ish? I got my tab and saw a fee I've never seen before. Which I assumed was a shot I ordered. She never explained. We asked for a couple tastes of the beers they have on tap. She just seemed like she didn't have time for us. But there were no more than 7 people at the bar. My friend even tried to disarm her by complimenting her shirts. She said "thanks" with the most dull smile ever. My friend decided to ask the bartender specifically how many minutes we had until we had to finish our beer.. she told us by 1:50...only for the security guard to make rounds and scream at us that they're close "time to go folks." It got to the point that I said screw it, and left half the pint sitting there after spending well over $30 for beer, shot, and a swift kick out the door. Besides the ambiance, I can't see how this place will last. I'll never consider going back. Horrible, rude, entitled, and not friendly to the LGBTQ community. Obviously I'm a person of color. As is my friend as well. Not a welcoming business. Will not recommend. Will not be back.

Located down and across the street from Punch Social, this place was cute with the hanging lights across the ceiling, a neon sign, some booths and pool tables. The drinks were inexpensive compared to the Bay Area, obviously.Although, the crowd was a bit louder than the playlist, the music was hip hop's top 40 from the songs I could hear. They had a photobooth as well tucked in a corner by the bathrooms. The bartender was attentive and quick which is always a plus especially at a crowded bar. Drinks were strong and the decor is cute. I wouldn't mind coming here again. Turn the volume up on the music though, granted it was a Tuesday night. haha!

Been here twice, once for their Halloween party and once last night. I love the look of this bar, very clean and cute. I was able to find a booth to sit at both times I was here pretty easily. There are Pool tables in the back. The service here is quick and friendly.

Nice place to go during game days. Not many people are there during the day and they have plenty of TVs. No drink specials and their drinks were a bit overpriced. Love the atmosphere. Drinks are a bit pricey. I recommend this place for the nightlife experience. You can find somewhere better on Broadway to drink and watch sports during the day.

Ahh Canopy is the chillest! I'm industry so Mondays are my day off. Love coming to a place that's always poppin' EVEN ON A MONDAY! James the bartender is amazing! He is so sweet and personable. Also they have pool tables. Love me some pool! They even have a cute backdrop to take insta photos with! #socute Worst comes to worst there are a ton of bars surrounding the area, so great place to start and bar hop!!

This bar is super fun and in the midst of everything going on, on South Broadway. I love the lights that hang and the cool signage in the back. It can get a tad bit too packed for my liking later in the night, but is great if you get there around 6-7 and can hear each other talk. Not to bro-y but still a majority of young professionals. The lighting makes it. Sometimes with they would have more bartenders. As it gets busier it can be hard to squeeze through over the people at the bar to get a drink. But always a welcomed stop on my Broadway jaunts.

Nice bar and friendly staff! From the eye catching atmosphere to the way they prepare the different drinks I was super impressed with it all. The bartenders were outgoing and welcoming. Of course my friends and I couldn't leave without a pic under their infamous "so glad you're not here" sign. This establishment speaks to me as a true millennial. (; They also have a nice selection of flavor infused vodkas that they make in house! The peach was the winner in my group of friends. Random note: The ice in the mixed drinks is the small crunchy "Sonic" ice cubes, a personal fave!

I was welcomed to an attitude by a bartender and it didn't stop for the horrid hour that I was at this place. At the end of the hour I went to get my bar tab and was greeted by a bartender that took 10 minutes to get back to me. He came back and without any comments from me he said " I was just saying goodbye to my friend that's going back to TX." He continued to start screaming at me. I will NEVER put up with someone that has attitude with me for no reason. I will NEVER come back to Canopy. This is not a place I would NEVE recommend. People that live upstairs sexually harass women and bring them upstairs to their apartments.

From the strip, this was my favorite place to drink. The music was influenced by 90s, the cocktails were good, there was an area to play games such as pool tables and shuffleboard. It was Instagram worthy from all of the decor. Great place to check out!

I've been to Canopy twice now, both during UMS weekend. Both times were a fun experience with friends. I tried a peach blossom spritzer this time and it was so light and refreshing on a hot summer day. I did try my friends infused vodka and it was pretty lackluster.

It might be because I haven't been to a bar in a year, but it was 65 degree out, I was outside on the patio, and had an ice cold beer in hand. Waiter was busting his ass, cool dude, tv's everywhere, it's all I want in a bar. Might go back today.

This place was poppin Saturday night! I was coming down from shrooms when we got there (free day at Denver art museum) and the vibes were immaculate. The DJ was playing Carter III Lil Wayne and had ppl dancing. I dapped him up and told bro he was killin it. Overall great place to black w your roommates

Atmosphere: 4.5/5 love everything about this place except I think on busy nights two unused pool tables taking up space from the dance floor is a waste Drink Menu: 3/5 very average in both price and variety Music: 4/5 obviously depending on the DJ, I liked that the DJ was right next to the bar and was changing the songs based on the crowds reaction rather than just a predetermined set list Overall: definitely recommend a stop if you're making your way through the bars of Broadway anytime soon

This place was LIT! I went with a bunch of friends and they played ALLLLL the jams! I hadn't danced so much in so long! The drinks were amazing, the bartenders were quick, the vibe was awesome and there was no cover.. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience, and will for SURE be back!

OK place with OK music. The one next door that plays Latin music charges a $10 cover but it's worth it if you can avoid this place. They bounced my buddy out of there while he was waiting in line for the bathroom. He was intoxicated but was just minding his own business. They pushed him aggressively through the back door and left his lip swollen and bleeding a bit. The guy wouldn't hurt a fly. Bullys man. He said he only asked the bouncer if anyone was in the restroom. Bouncer must have just been broken up with or something to be aggressive for no reason.

Came here for a quick happy hour drink. Excellent bartender and delicious drinks! Cool atmosphere so will definitely be coming back here during the weekend! The only thing it's lacking is more patio seating.

DO NOT COME HERE. They are deadass scamming people, they save your credit information and overcharge you hundreds of dollars. They ignore you and will not pay you that money back. Look at the reviews they have done it to a ton of people. They have deleted my reviews on google reviews as well. Don't trust this establishment. This bar kicks patrons out based on the bartenders petty personal problems. Do not kick paying, sober, patrons out because your employees have personal problems. your bartender ruined my night. It was my bachelor party, but because the bartender has petty problems with my friend, we were deemed not acceptable for this bar. maybe because I'm gay and they have major problems. Who knows, but they didn't rectify the situation, instead they said I should come back. Why would I come back to this discriminatory place?!?!

It's a bar. A very loud and crowded bar. Earlier in the evening on a Saturday (right after 8), we were able to snag a table and got some good drinks. An hour later it was packed and squishy. The pineapple infused vodka is tasty though make sure to get a double otherwise you won't taste it. The bartenders are friendly, quick, and make good drinks.

Male bartender kept throwing ice at one of the female employees. Every time he threw ice it got myself and people in my group wet. Rather than make a scene and say something we left bc it was just simply annoying. Lots of better places on Broadway to drink. Pass.

Oh man. I don't even know where to start. The music is good but the management is the opposite. They say people don't quit BC they don't like their job, it's BC they don't like their manager. I don't think place will stick around long BC the manager, Marvin. Here's my story: I had been there for a solid 2 hours took a little to get drinks but nothing unbearable until about 12:30. The bartenders were working their butts off!! Shout out to Kelsey, blonde bartender, she was working hard! I went up to the bar after sweating so much on the dance floor. (Really hot in there) and waited at the bar for 10 minutes. No acknowledgment what so ever. There was this guy in a 3 piece suite standing behind the bar, doing nothing. I politely asked for a water and he rudely snapped "I'm not a bar tender!" I was shocked and was like okay I'll wait a little longer while poor Kelsey was working up a sweat. 10 more minutes went by and this guy, MARVIN, was still posted up not lifting a finger. Again I asked, can you just pour me a quick water. He snapped again even worse this time "I'm not a bartender. Why are you complaining so much for something FREE!" I responded I'm sorry is there a water station I'm happy to help myself since u aren't doing anything! (There r no water stations)!Still no help from Marvin. I later find out HE IS THE MANAGER!!! He didn't lift one finger to help out his customers and just stood and watched his employees work their asses off. Not. A. Fan. A place with management like that is bound to fold. I hope you fire Marvin in hopes for a better manager. I've managed restaurants and bars before and that is NO way to treat a patron. I attached a picture just in case you run into his salty self.

One of my top 3 favorite bars in Denver. My friends are in the industry and typically only recommend spots with top notch bartenders suited to quality craft cocktails. Bartender did an excellent job with our cocktails. Overall decor was classy, vibrant but not over done. Layout of the bar provides a good mix of open vs crowded space for different folks to choose. DJ was on point and had a pretty good dance floor going in the back. Side note, I wish they'd just ditch the pool table to increase the dance space. Overall crowd scene was a good mix of energy, class and laid back.

Seemed like a nice place from the pictures. Really bad design though. Super loud and echos because of the barren subway tile walls. You can't hear yourself think. I mean a bar is loud, but the echo is annoying. Bartenders are rude and pour sloppy mixed drinks. I stayed for 20 minutes before I got a bad drink. Baretender was rude so I asked to close out. She interupted me with a finger in my face and told me I would have to wait? I will not be going back.

This was a very weird bar. The DJ ignored everyone's suggestions and kept playing songs no one wanted to dance to. The drinks were probably average but the vibes of the music brought the whole mood down. Didn't even have ABBA downloaded lmao

This place is awesome, esp for its djs and dancing. They just seriously need to move or get rid of the pool tables so that project aren't awkwardly trying to dance around them. Other than that, it's definitely one of the cooler spots on S Broadway

This place just opened. Great vibe. Cool art and string lights. Nice staff. Open air front area. "Lemon" was our bar tender. He was super nice a took care of our whole group.

We came across this place on a early Saturday afternoon and they were far from busy- but the bartender and server working were AMAZING! Love the ambience of this place- simple with just the right amount of details. Me and my husband came back about a month later in a Saturday night and it was super busy and packed wall to wall! The crowd was similar to our age group which we liked compared to typical downtown Denver. We got the pickle shots at both of our visits and they are the ABSOLUTE BEST in Denver! Also they have some amazing craft cocktails to try - so be adventurous and get one! The service for being pack was on par- typical wait but feel like it was above average considering the amount of people they had there. We came across the owner that night who was SUPER personable! The DJ's they had there played a great mix of music which really set the vibe. This place is a great addition to the South Broadway scene. We will definitely be back many times more.

This is one of those places I just seem to Always end up at. In an area with lots of dive bars this place stands out as cool and chic. It has very interesting decor with strands of lights that provide dim lighting and an intimate setting. There are also some wall decorations that I can only imagine have been included in many Snapchat pictures. It can get really crowded on weekend nights but I have never had to wait to get inside. During the day and on week nights it's not very crowded. They have a standard bar and drink menu. All the drinks are good but Are not the cheapest. During the crowded times there's usually standing room only unless you get lucky enough to get a booth or a seat at the bar. There is street parking only and a lot of parking restrictions on the nearby streets. I've definitely seen people get tickets so I would be careful with parking.

Horrible customer experience! Asked our server to run the bill on a different card instead of the one that we initially started the tab on. They ended up double charging both cards! Now the ownership refuses to issue a refund. Also to agree with the rest of these reviews "music is extremely loud, literally can't hear myself think". We won't be going back...

Do not go here! Terrible service and terrible ownership. Had to search for our waiter to receive any service because he was too busy flirting. Then we ended up getting double charged and the bar refuses to refund the extra charge.

Came here with my friends Saturday night after work and it was really packed. I love the vibe here as well as how there is a pool table! But make sure to grab your chance because there is only one here. The drinks are pretty good here but a little pricey.

If you want to be told by the bouncer that you are next but their friends are "priorities" to the restaurants then this is your place. Horrible customer service and staff! Find another spot!

Came to Canopy post-punch bowl because the pool table at punch bowl was taken all night. I was amazed at how nice the 2 billiards tables were here. When we arrived we had to wait about an hour for one of the tables to open up but it was FREE!! Yes, I said the pool is FREE here!! Myself and a friend had a great time with a great crowd of people. Will recommend this place to friends. 5 stars!

Worst management. Charged us twice on a $300+ tab and refuses to refund back. The server didn't help us most of the night so they comped some drinks for us and charged one of the cards for the whole table. A month later the other card that was removed from the tab was charged the total amount. So we have now paid twice and the owner refuses to refund any amount. I will make sure to spread the word as much as possible to stay away from this bar.

Unfortunately wasn't even given the opportunity to check this place out. My roommates and I all took an Uber specifically to check out this place, which we found doing a yelp search. I am 30 years old, will be 31 in January, and both of my roommates are soon to be 30 years old. I am a Colorado native, with a Colorado license. The guy working the front door was immediately rude and looked at my ID for at least 45 seconds without looking at me once. He then flipped it back to me and said, again, without looking at me once, that he couldn't accept it, and me, being well past the age of fake ID's, was immediately confused and asked why and he said he thinks it's fake. Because apparently the word "Colorado" is etched on the top edge of the card and mine was too "worn"... I'm sorry what?? These new ugly ass Colorado ID's have put in so many safe-guards for this reason alone. Also important to note... it was 7:00pm, the bar was empty, and it was 100% bright daylight out I completely understand that's the entire job of these guys at the door.... but this guy decided when I walked up and interrupted his game on his phone that I wasn't allowed in before even looking at me or my ID, and his attitude about it was just icing on the cake. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately they've lost our business ‍

I'm writing this review about the employees in hopes that the owner or someone of real authority makes a change and holds their employees accountable for their actions. There was a bartender wearing a t-shirt with big bold letters that said #meninist. I asked the woman serving us what his t-shirt meant to make sure I didn't incorrectly assume what it stood for. She said "I didn't even notice his shirt or read what it said". I was able to get the bartender wearing the shirts attention a few minutes later and he said "I'm wearing this because I think the feminist movement is ridiculous at times". Very offended I asked to speak with the manager and was horrified to find out it was the first person I spoke with who was a self proclaimed non reader or observer of what her employees are wearing. Great. It is completely inappropriate to wear anything of that nature while you are at work, which is something I explained to the completely clueless manager but she gave me half hearted sorry as she was trying to laugh it off and then ran away to avoid the conversation. I will never support a place of business that thinks it's ok to mimic a movement that has a great amount of meaning to not only women but anyone who believes we can do better as a country and as a society.

The bartender, Cody (lemon?) made the best shot I've ever taken. He was super chill and a great bartender!
