Stopped and used their vending machine at a rest area and we bought 2 bags of chips and paid 2.00 each but the machine charged us for the 2 bags of chips and then charged us 5.00 4x so that's 20.00 it over charged us. I don't even think there was a 5.00 product in the machine. Very unhappy and want a refund.

If I had a relative that behaved like Canteen services our business I would have them evaluated for dementia. For the last 10 years they have disappointed us nearly every week. It is truly amazing how not showing up, not delivering what we need, and delivering too much of what we don't need enables them to keep this contract. Never, ever hire them unless you like frustration. The drivers are personable and friendly but I have the sense after 10 years they are being set up to fail us weekly. I tell people "The can't is right in the name." Believe them. They can't do anything right.

Do not buy products from this companies machines. The most dishonest company I've come across. I've now been trying for 3 weeks to get refunded money that I spent in the machine and didn't get the product due to a card reader error that won't be corrected. Looks like this is a common practice as there is another employee at my work that had the same situation happen. Nobody has done anything about it. THIEVES

Worst customer service ever. Called and complained multiple times about the machine breaking and taking money without giving the product. Every week they sent their "senior" tech out to "fix" the machine only to have it breakdown the same week. After multiple calls to complain they show up stating the tech was verbally abused. So they never wanted to fix the problem, just keep patching it and let us deal with a broken machine. Do not recommend.

Rip off artist, vending machines will take your money and they won't return your call. So you have to dispute it with your bank. Canteen knows that they taking your money . theft $1.20 at a time Lol.

Vending machines are awful and so is customer service. Multiple times vending has dispensed nothing or wrongly charged my card and I finally followed up with Emilie Trejo and she has done nothing after a month and an half of asking for all my info to refund my card after a few bad transactions.

Update*** scratch 50 percent of time, 20 percent of time and charges your card after not dispensing product** Not bad food and beverages but their vending machine for beverages only works properly about 50 percent of the time. Why have the service if its only working half of the time. Terrible automated design. These machines are all over Wa Square Mall too. They need to get rid of them.

Thieves! They are using our electricity for their vending machine but refuse to pay us for having their vending machine at our property despite owing us 25% of all sales. They have not paid since last year.

For a large vending company that, according to their website, puts an emphasis on service they fail miserably. The vending machine I use frequently eats my dollar bills and the credit card machine modem has not worked in over a year. I have called them after my bills were swallowed and they have never offered to refund my money and only vaguely report that a technician is on his way to check into it. This is the worst vending service I have ever encoutered. I have travelled the world and am something of a vending machine connoisseur. I own a book on automated vending theory and customer relations that I have read several times and this company would fail every chapter. If you see their sticker on the machine run, don't walk! Remember that tree that always ate Charlie Brown's kite in the old cartoons? Must have been supplied by Canteen.

If you are a large volume business with lots of coffee drinkers / high volume of vending machine users that would need your supplies stocked weekly or so, then this is a good company to use. Smaller volume businesses, with 100 or fewer employees / users will probably not be serviced well. Our small business found that when the machines broke, they waited weeks before sending someone to fix them, rarely refilled our vending machine (it was often left completely empty for weeks), let us run out of coffee even when we called two weeks in advance, and did not provide clean/new pots on a regular basis. They would tell us they were looking into an issue and then never respond, even after multiple phone calls to follow up. On the other hand, I have two other very large locations that are also serviced by Canteen and they find the service great. Since they are high volume, large dollars, they receive lots of attention and have a completely different customer service experience. If you are a small business, you're better off using another vendor. If your business falls into the large volume category, then perhaps your experience might be better than ours.
